Realizing Leah had been struck by his explosive bullet, he rushed over to her aid. "Bah, she passed out from the shockwave concentration. Easy fix." Still on the defensive in case Kano, or the man named Aura would strike at him, he stopped Aura who was now carrying her. "Watch." Max began to concentrate on Leah, pinching her nose so that she'd have to forcefully quit breathing through it, until she began to slightly choke conscious, though her head would still be ringing from the after effects.

"You alright?"

Beginning to hack and cough herself back to the world, Leah began to struggle against the grip Aura had on her. Finally regaining a few stabilizing gasps of air, she replied.

"No idea. What the heck was that....?"

(Gtg for a bit. :( )

"You have done enough. Report to your commanding officer for further instructions. You may have caused her to go deff. I take MY job verry seriously. And it's obvious you've no respect for authority. Until you learn some, you will get no respect. You earn your keep here. Be lucky I don't make you do cleaning duty. It gets pretty bad here at this bace. What with blown up walls and such. Now move on and quit disrespecting orders. And besides. I believe I told you to drop and give me fifty push ups. That wasn't a request. That was an order. I Can have you taken off the strike teams. I can even have you take out of here on a dishonorable discharge for what you just did." Aura said calmly. He wasn't being snide or anything. He then turned his attention to getting Leah to the medbay. "It's OK dear. Imma have the doctors take a look at you and make shure you are fine."

A smirk stole Max's face, his teammate was a tough one.

"Us Humans have to be able to keep up with weavers somehow, or else they'd replace all the competent ones. That was an explosive bullet, I designed the specific brand a year ago, I specialize in weapon engineering, along with several other skills you'll come to learn of once we battle together."

Max turned toward Aura, who went on to say he could be discharged from his Squadron. "But it was you, as well my own squad leader who made efforts to punish me for a simple request: To acknowledge our equality. We fight for the same cause, therefore we are one in the same. If you wish to go to the higher ups, so be it, but be sure to report your wrong doings as well. Other squadron leaders trying to oppose another squadron leaders problems, does that mean you think Kano is an incompetent leader, and cannot deal with his own responsibilities as Squad 8's authority figure?"

Max stood there, eye to eye with Aura glaring at him indifferently.

"I Am the higherups. This is the main branch and I'm its director. That makes me everyone's boss. If you want to pull rank. Furthermore, I had no intent to harm you. I mearly told you to do push ups.... Something I'm still waiting on. It realy Was an Order. Do that, and I will forget the fact that you bluntly disrespected your squad leader. Then you may begin to be treated as an equal. I'm a realy nice guy if you let me be. However, if your going to act like this to everyone, your a liability, and I will remove you for the safety of those under me. I will not hurt you. I Don't hurt allies. But if you disobey my orders any longer, I'm sad to say that you and I wolnt get along very well. Are we understanding each other?" Aura said, still calmy. He hated to be mean to people like that, but he had to keep this place running. He had wounded to deal with. Not to mention he had no time to teach some punk how to follow orders.

"Aargh..... I've decided not to like explosions. And hey, why don't you go easy on 'im? Isn't there some "first offense second offense" ladder of some sort?" She directed her attention to Aura, and sat up while massaging her skull.

"It's so tightly wound here.... If you really wanna screw someone over then I suggest you take interest into the murder taking place oh-so-far-away." She gestured from the ground to the cluster of people over by the courtyard, one bleeding to death, one half frozen and two still standing.

"Revnoir is a Leviathan Weaver like myself. He will last another 4 to 5 hours in his current state. Also his mind is muddled by the enemy. He is a threat. Your going to be taken to the medbay first. It's simply a precaution. They will check you and make shure your ok, then your free to go. And I'm simply asking him to follow orders at this point. If he can't do so here, then how can I send him into the field with my subordinates?" Aura asked, already walking to the medbay.

Max smirked, relighting a cigarette, then blowing smoke in Aura's face. You're lucky the demon inside didn't awaken, he laughed, walking away to a nearby bench within the courtyard, then doing several (11) push ups before getting back on his feet, and walking back to his teammate Leah.

"Add the other 37 to my tab" a remark appointed at Aura. "Leah, I'd like the rundown on your skills since we'll be partners from here on."

"I want to be a Levithan or Phoenix Weaver... But no... These guys are here... And the Surgeons refuse... My threads are so weak..."

Kano's childish self returned, his usual self. He pouted a bit but then he matured again. He bows for forgiveness towards Max.

"Max I am sorry for harming you... Its just that, stress has been building up on me and so mamy things have been happening lately... I was literally promoted Base Leader yesterday!"

"Kano. I'm sorry I trusted those duties on you so suddenly. I'm shure you can understand. But Max isn't to be asinged any missions untill he has completed the rest of his pushups. I need to get Leah and Rev back to the medbay. Would you meet me in squad 1 office in say........ 5... 10 minutes?"

Max turned his attention to his Squad Leader Kano, who was bowing before him in forgiveness. Max slowly walked from Leah's side, to Kano's. "Now you are someone I'd happily fight for, not only did you man up, admitting your wrongs, but you're sincere as well." Max, patted Kano on his shoulder, then began to kneel in loyalty, and respect. "I also apologize if I happened to come off as rude, forgive me Squadron Captain Kano."

"Wait... What's a leviathan?" Leah looked up toward Aura. "And I'm fine, the ringing's going away.... Slowly.... But... Anyway......" She shook her head to the side slowly as if to clear it, then addressed Max again.

"As of abilities, I can throw things, and hit things with sticks. Otherwise, I'm unsure." At that moment, she snatched her staff from the ground where it had fallen and stood, a bit too quickly. She dipped her head down to reduce the returning pounding, and took another deep breath as she returned to the world of regular heigt.

"Please don't do that when I am bowing for apology... It seems awkward?"

Kano said with a slightly laugh. He lifted his torso and head from the bowing position and looked to wards Aura.

"Sure Aura..."

Kano sighed out. He slowly walked to the work station which Yuriko claimed as her own, which was right outside the base but still behind the walls. He entered and Yuriko was still creating more shells for Kano's gunblade.

"Hey Yuriko got any new ideas for my gunblade shells?"

"Well, I think I got one right here."

She held up a gunblade shell, colored gray with lightning bolts. A slow shell. It shot an explosion which is created out of a gas tranquilizing agent which cause the target to become unconscious then die by poisoning and electricity. Yuriko gently gave the shell to Kano which Kano returned with a thanks and smile.

Kano slowly went back to into the base and went to squad 1's office, waiting.

"As you know there are three main types of reaper. Grunts, Eletes, and Nobles. Strongest being nobles. Well a Leviathan is stronger than a Noble by about 110%. So is a pheonix reaper " Aura said speaking to Leah. "The only thing that can cut a pheonix or leviathans threads is another pheonix or leviathan."

"I know about the reapers, but there are different weavy ranks too now? Dang. And of these Pheonix creatures? Those dealers surpass the Nobles?"

Damn. Leah'd not even been out in the field yet and reaper more was getting a heck of a lot more complicated.

"So... Like the ghouls, weavers have ranks as well?"

Max decided to finish his 37 pushups, returning to a nearby bench. These few minutes had taken a toll on him mentally, his other personality would soon come out if he didn't take his suppression pills, which would soon run out in a couple days. Scarfing down 3 pills, he mellowed out, walking back up to Leah, who was accompanied by Aura.

"Scared of a few weavers Leah?" He clamped his hand on her shoulder, and let out a laugh. "I'm sure there's a training facility around these parts where you can hone your skills, I'd like to do so as well honestly, I'm pretty pumped from the little heated discussion we all had earlier."

"No... I just have the same threads as a Leviathan. I had a surgery done so that I would have them. Not realy a rank. But the surgery has only two survivers so far. Me...... And the man laying in a pool of his own blood over there." Aura said. "And those who come out are more like reapers than any normal Weaver is. It's a struggle sometimes just to cling to humanity."

"Nah, not really, seeing as how I think I may be one, but it'd be nice to know the whole mechanics of it all. It's more easy to operate under stress when one understands what's happening around them, or at least who they're accompanied by. Either way, it's be helpful to me."

"But... Wow... Is the loss of humanity actually worth power? Under any judgement, humane or no, it'd probably be misused at some point."

Aura had taken notice of max finishing his pushups. "Thank you. I'm glad to know you can follow orders. Now that your finaly complying, allow me to apologise for snapping at you earlier."

"Words of one who is wise Leah. And max, as far as the training rooms, I can show them to you if you like. We even have simulations that you can use to help hone your skill. Be warned though, they can actualy hurt you. But you are in no danger of dieing. The simulation is monitored and shut off before any killing blow can be landed." Aura said. He seemed compleatly different now. Even happy and nice.

"You're pretty level-headed. I thought'd you be like those idiots we use to see on TV who'd die trying to be a hero. Intelligence over willpower any day." He nodded in agreement at Leah's statement.

@SpazztastiCat101

"I don't know what you're talking about Aura" Max hinted at letting bygones be bygones, and moving on to the future. "I'd like to know of future plans in regards to upcoming missions for Squad 8, and yes could you show me the training rooms. As a human, keeping myself physically, and mentally at peak is the best way to combat enemy weavers."

Leah nodded in response to his words of the training room simulations.

"Wait--! They can hurt someone? Hm. Interesting. Didn't think that it could at first try." She shrugged carelessly. "Hm. Anyway." She continued, "How would one unveil what type of weaver they were if they were unaware?"

"You don't know?!" Aura asled, honestly surprised. "Well.... Hmmm.... If you can get me your papers you were given when you were asinged here they should say..... If not we would just have to see for ourselves. Just by your nature though, I'd assume wind threads." Aura concluded. "As far as future missions for squad 8.... Well there Is an asingements. Even though we are out here to fight reapers as our primary objective, we are also to find surviving civilians and take them to safty behind one of the great walled cities. I've heard there is a group of survivers nearby.... But we have been too bussy fending of the Seven deadly sins and their bull shit. By the way... Max... Two things. One, we don't have enemy weavers. Those people that are our enemies look like weavers..... But they are realy reapers. They are still a bit of a mystery at the moment. Two... Would you grab that dying man over there please?"
