Fantasy Realm of Albya

"As long as you're in my presence, you needn't hunt or fish for food. Please name what you want," Leucothia had cooed in a soft voice. Naomi was surprised, considering this woman was being so patient and kind. She furrowed a brow still adjusting to this new hospitality.

"Well, the only meat I eat is fish, but I doubt you would want to-" Naomi suddenly paused when she heard a string of words, that shall not be repeated, fly from a figure in the distance. The figure seemed to be rapidly heading toward the group, heading toward Naomi. Suddenly

realisation struck, and Naomi understood the fact that if she didn't move, she would have a hurdling person fly in to her. Panic stricken, the only thing she could think to do was put her arms around her as a shield, and hope for the best. She closed her eyes, and waited for impact.

But impact never came.

Instead, a large clanging noise was heard from the side if Naomi, and she gathered the courage to peek through her hands. There she saw a girl cradled in Leucothia's arms. As Leucothia stood up, she saw the girl's features more clearly. She was a petite thing, probably smaller than Naomi. She had auburn-ish hair that stood out, and her face was dotted with freckles. Naomi rushed over to the two with a worried face. "Are you two alright? Can I do anything?" She asked worriedly.

She heard another shout, one that was not her own, call out a warning. She squeezed her eyes closed and braced herself for the impact that didn't quite come. Following a loud clang, Meme felt her self being lifted like a princess. She felt quite awkward. Although she was used to being carried this way (her foster parents, the blacksmiths, always carried her this way when she was young) at an older age, it just felt weird. When her hero introduced herself and asked if she was alright, along with the poor girl she almost decapitated she nodded vigorously.

"I am fine truly. Thank you Leucothia, I appreciate it. May you put me down now? Also, little miss I apologize a thousand times over for nearly colliding with you. My name is Meme Li Shun, by the way. I'm a weapons merchant and blacksmith. Pleasure to meet all of yous."

"I am fine truly. Thank you Leucothia, I appreciate it. May you put me down now? Also, little miss I apologize a thousand times over for nearly colliding with you. My name is Meme Li Shun, by the way. I'm a weapons merchant and blacksmith. Pleasure to meet all of yous," said the little woman, who had just introduced herself as Meme.

Leucothia smiled the teeny girl and said, "You are very welcome. It is very nice to meet you Miss Meme." The girl did look very uncomfortable being carried that way. She noticed and laughed a little as she set her down. "Of course, Meme, I did not mean to make you feel awkward."

"Are you two alright? Can I do anything?" said Naomi quite worried, she would say. Leucothia admired her sense of humanity. She was quite kind and very selfless.

Leucothia smiled and responded, "No I am fine. Anyways moving on, would you still like fish Naomi, it is fine with me. And you, Meme, would you like anything?

Kail finished eating and went back out to watching the skies. That was all she could do, besides studying magic and eating. She sighed and took a deep breath "IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE AS LONELY AS I AM?!" She shouted, her voice being carried by the wind. "...guess not..." She mumbled. "I think I'm going to travel...yeah...I'm going to travel!." She exclaimed as she went to her room and started to pack.

"Eep!" Kail squeked when he heard shouting. She grabbed her staff and went downstairs. "W-who's there?" She asked timidly from behind the door, staff held at the ready in case it was someone with hostile intentions, like those insurance salesmen, or people going on witch hunts.

Kail slowly peeked out the door. "Where are you heading to?" She asked. She signaled one of her servants to go and get her packed things and maps.

The servants came with the map and bag. She hastily took them and bid them farewell. She opened the door and stepped out. "Oh what a coincidence, I am heading out as well." She help up a map. "We are at Ulfang Tower, we head southwest to arrive in Foir." She said as she started walking.

"My name is Kail Fakinway." She replied as she kept on walking. "What about you, what's your name?" She asked ass she decided to quicken her pace and walk faster.

"Yes I do." She said as she stopped for a while and looked at the map. She then continued to walk. "What about it?" She asked.

Since the argument seemed to have been settled without his help Ashe just hopped back on Arthurs back and flew off. He had to find a place for camp before sunset.

"Oh that rumor?" She asked, so surprised that she actually stops. "Well, yes...it was haunted." She said as she rummaged in her robes. "But then I locked up the mean ghost in here." She said as she help a a green foggy orb.

"Of course I did." She replied indignantly. "How else would you do it? Asking nicely?" She started to walk once more.

Naomi was shocked at the nonchalance that laced the voices of both Leucothia and Meme. Was flying off a horse not so strange in these parts? Naomi shook her head, trying to rearrange her thoughts as best she could. "Yes, Miss Meme, it's a pleasure to meet you as well. I'm Naomi Takamoto. I work in the large tavern in Yulan. I'm not sure if you're familiar with it or anything," Naomi said to the merchant.

Naomi turned to Leucothia. "Miss Leucothia, please don't trouble yourself with the preparation of fish. If you feel you must, at least let me help. Or otherwise we could find something else like fruits, or nuts, or berries even."

"I don't know really, anywhere I guess?" She said as she tucked the away the orb. "So, why are you heading to Foir?" She asked as she turned to look at him while walking backwards.

"Hmm..." She mumbled as she whirled around and started to walk normally one more. "I think I'll think about it." She said.

"Ah, what a nice name. And no, I'm quite alright. Actually I have a question. What are you all doing here?" She observed the group, every one of them fascinating her more than the last. It wasn't as if she had never seen other species before it was just that all of them were all quite unique, even if some were human. Wisteria trotted over to her and nudged her face in her back. Meme whirled around, hands on her hips and began scolding her in the Wisps native tongue. (It is similar to Gaelic.) The person who appeared and gave off a very different vibe was the man? with hooves for feet. She watched him, Leucothia, Naomi and the others from the corner of her eye as she spoke to her mount. She was kind of glaring at them, her tired red eyes watching for any signs of, evil.

Naomi took Meme's question in to consideration. " What are you all doing here?" meme's words floated around Naomi's brain, for some reason stinking with her, ringing a bell. This isn't some fun adventure Naomi. This is real life. let that sink in. Naomi thought to herself.

Shaking away the panic in her brain, Naomi replied, "Well, I was actually teleported here. An angry mage wasn't too pleased with my customer service," Naomi laughed. Just calm down. These people offered to help, so don't blow it too out of proportion. A voice of reason called out in her brain. All of a sudden Meme's horse had trotted up to her, and foreign words spilled from her mouth. Probably telling her off then. Naomi looked at the horse, feeling a sort of sympathy from it. "I'm sure she didn't exactly mean to buck you off." Naomi said to Meme, almost trying to apologize for the horse.

Leucothia listened to Naomi and smiled, "No, it is fine, I have cooked, hopefully, fish with me. It's somewhere." Leucothia searched her breastplate, she kept supplies in the extra room. Her mother was "bigger" than her so she made use for the space. She found it, and she laughed a little. "I hope this doesn't disturb you, but take it if you will," She smiled and handed it over.

Meme then asked why this band of mismatched beings were here. Leucothia sighed and said, "It is a long story. This one is not a story you want to hear. There are too many parts to it." Then, Meme spoke to her horse in a foreign language. Leucothia recognized it as the Wisps native tongue. "So, she is a wisp. Or at least the offspring of one. Bah, there are too many details to think of at the moment," Leucothia thought, shaking her head. Her father had taught her about the species of Albya. It was one of his strong points, species I mean.
