Fantasy Realm of Albya

Ashe watched the dragon and he couldn't believe his eyes for a moment. That was certainly not something you see everyday... and he'd seen many things. He then understood when he felt a prescence, it had to have been a demon. He looked at the boy with the fangs "What did it take?" he knew those tricky demons, she probably saw him as an easy target.

Leucothia acted when the trees caught fire from the mysterious Dragon Boy's dragon form. She quickly gathered water from a nearby puddle and doused the flames. Sighing, she looked to see Ashe. "Although I do not know your name, High Elf, this boy suddenly fell from the sky, possibly killing a family of unfortunate squirrels. I do not know the reason why he attacked," She spoke her tone even, but cautious. Her teal-green eyes flicked to the elf and she said, "I am called Leucothia, by the way. How do they call you?"

Ashe looked to the girl. "My name is Ashe, and I apologize for the damages, you see he was just trying to get his stuff back..."

Leucothia smiled at Ashe and responded, "It is very nice to meet you Ashe. Also, do not apologize, it is Inari's fault after all. This tricky Kitsune does not know when to stop."

Inari looked inside the bag and noticed that she'd eaten all of the fruits. She left the small bag on a tree branch as she disappeared into the shadows and reappeared behind Belial. "Everybody in this forest is wild. It's like a madhouse you could say..but it wasn't my fault that I was hungry." She said as she floated in the air a bit annoyed.

"Why must it be so boring here?" Naomi sighed while leaning against the bar of the tavern. It had been hours since dawn, and she could count on one hand how many customers had come in so far. Three. Not even a single employee had shown up for work yet.

A tinkle of a bell signalling the door being opened rung throughout the building, and Naomi snapped her head in the direction of the entrance. A young man, no older than his mid-twenties slowly made his way in to the Tavern. He was quite attractive, with golden hair and amber eyes that had an innocence to them. But this man was far from innocent. Obviously, he was a drunken man due to how off balance he walked and the slurred, incoherent words that poured from his mouth. More evidence supporting the claim of him being drunk, was the fact that he wore no pants.

Yes, this man had waltzed in to a building completely intoxicated, and simply wore white briefs and a coat.

"Hello miss," said the man with a stutter. His breath reeked of alcohol, a smell Naomi was far too familiar with. "C-could you help-"

Hick

"Me?" He finished, eyes half closed and completely glazed over.

Naomi, who was currently flustered, replied shyly, "Certainly, could I get you a glass of water?" It would save him from a future Hangover, most definitely Naomi thought to herself.

The man scoffed, surprised at Naomi's words. "Oh most certainly not. I would like a bottle of gin. How many scales would that be?" He asked, determined to replenish himself with alcohol.

"Sir, I don't think that would be a smart choice... You see, I-" Naomi was suddenly cut off.

The man began to chuckle a low worrisome cackle, and Naomi felt extremely uneasy. "Dear me," he spoke, " I believe we have a problem at hand. I've been drinking since one o'clock this morning, so what's one more bottle?"

"No, I'm sorry. I-I can't do that." Naomi said firmly. She may be quiet, but she knows when to put her foot down. The man's face blazed in anger, and his amber eyes narrowed in, staring at Naomi with a fearsome rage.

"Defying me, eh? Well, I don't like that. Off you go," The man said with a fist. Naomi ducked in fear of getting hurt, but nothing struck her. Except a new ground Beneath her feet. Naomi stumbled behind some trees, disoriented and dizzy.

"Trees? What the hell?" Naomi whispered as she balanced herself out on a rock. A simple thought had struck her just then. He was a mage. He teleported me here. Naomi sighed, and cursed internally. Teleporting someone is quite extreme in terms of punishment. Especially if it's because someone won't serve you alcohol. Where even am I? Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of voices. And water.

Naomi crouched by instinct, and peeked through the trees that bordered the forest and the body of water. Through the tiny gap, she could make out a few figures. Thank god, She thought with a smile. Slowly approaching the figures, she noticed that they were several odd, but beautiful creatures. A tall one, well above six feet, with long hair that would catch the sunlight in a beautiful way. His bottom half somewhat resembled a hoofed animal, with hooves of his own and a short tail. In the lake sat what appeared to be a mermaid or a siren. She had beautiful features and dazzling teal hair that seemed to drape far down her body. She also spotted what she believed to be a high elf, with light blonde hair and ears that pointed at the top. Naomi felt intimidated by the bunch, as she stood at a measly 5'2, where the rest probably stood well above that. Naomi mustered up every single ounce of courage she had.

"Excuse me? I beg of your assistance," She said from the safety of the trees. She stepped in to the light, her hands clasped together and close to her body. Her ears retreated downward as intimidation increased. "An angry mage teleported me here," her words were quiet but audible. "And I have no idea where I am. C-could you help me?" She was frightened, but fought her instinct to run. She had no weapons, no food, and no coordinates of where she was. She was more vulnerable than ever.

ooc:// (Sorry for the obnoxiously long reply. I just had to incorporate how Naomi finds the rest of the characters, and Switchblade had given me the idea for an angry mage!)

Sighing at Inari, due to the fact she was pretty spot on, she said, "You may be right, but there is almost no good you can get from taking another's belongings." Leucothia rubbed her temples, to get rid of a starting headache. Suddenly, Leucothia dropped her pose. She felt someone was nearby. Rustling filled the quiet air as her head darted toward the noise. Her face was full of cautiousness, but she saw a poor neko, looking quite frightened.

The girl had beautiful cat ears, but they folded down as if frightened. The poor girl looked as if she might've fainted. She suddenly spoke in a very quiet voice, "Excuse me? I beg of your assistance." The neko stepped out further from her hiding place in the trees. Her stance looked quite vulnerable, and Leucothia suddenly felt the urge to protect this girl.

"An angry mage teleported me here," the neko said, in a barely audible voice. "And I have no idea where I am. C-could you help me?"

"Oh, dear you poor girl," Leucothia spoke letting her guard down. She walked over to her with a look of concern. Her armor made clanging noises and her tunic made a light swishing noise as she made her way over. "You are currently in the Greatwoods, which are located near Lake Elderar. There is a small village nearby the lake where we or I can take you." Her calm face was smiling as she noticed how scared she looked.

Naomi tensed as the woman moved toward her, but a sudden sense of calmness came when the woman offered help. The Greatwoods. That's a while away from Yulan, depending on where we're placed. Naomi remembered when she moved from Foir to Yulan, and how far that journey was. If she was placed in part of the Greatwoods closer to Foir, she had a longer and harder trek ahead of her.

"Thank you Miss," Naomi spoke now, a little more clearly than before. "I'm Naomi Takamoto." She bowed her head to the woman. "Originally I was in Yulan. But as I had said earlier, a drunk and angry mage had teleported me here because I didn't serve him any Gin. Forgive my intrusion," Naomi said, referring to the conversation the woman was having earlier. Naomi glanced up at the trees, and noticed some charred and burnt. "W-what happened here?" Naomi asked worriedly, stepping closer to the teal haired woman. She hoped it was some kind of an accident, and not purposefully inflicted by monster or scary entity.

Inari studied the neko's appearance and floated near by her. "Look what the cat dragged in.... So kitten, you have a name?" Inari said with her bright amber eyes glowing. Inari rolled her eyes as she heard Leucothia talking about how sweet and kind she was enough to take care of the neko. Inari laughed wickedly "Just a big large dragon came up, and you know how much they love to feast on the bones."

When Naomi introduced herself, Leucothia smiled and replied, "My name is Leucothia, Gaurdian of Lake Elderar. It is a pleasure to meet you, Naomi." As the neko girl explained her situation, she listened intently. She frowned when she heard of a Mage who had teleported the girl just for a bottle of gin he was denied. There was something wrong with people lately. Especially the male youth. Leucothia remembered when the boys were too scared to even talk to a girl. She shook the memory away anyways.

"It's okay, Naomi, you didn't interrupt anything," she said reassuringly. When Naomi asked about the damage done to the trees, and overall what had happened, she sighed and said, "A drago-" Leucothia's sentence was interrupted by Inari suddenly. She gave a frown and said, "Inari, don't scare the poor girl. She's had enough happen already." Leucothia then turned back to Naomi and said, "Forgive her, she's a tricky demon after all."

"Look what the cat dragged in.... So kitten, you have a name?" A voice cooed. Naomi stood still and didn't answer the question, still phased by the charred trees. "Just a big large dragon came up, and you know how much they love to feast on the bones." Said a fox like creature. She had wings, and floated by Naomi, who had tensed up again.

"Inari, don't scare the poor girl. She's had enough happen already." Said the woman who had introduced herself as Leucothia. Leucothia turned to Naomi. "Forgive her, she's a tricky demon after all." Naomi, suddenly overwhelmed at the abundance of information being tossed around, grabbed Leucothia's hand through instinct. She had nothing else to grab, otherwise she would've grabbed her dagger or maybe a ninja star. But the closest thing that could offer comfort was Leuothia's jade colored hand.

"I-I'm sorry, I've just never met a demon, or a dragon before..." She looked at the little fox entity with worried eyes. "Yes Ma'am, my name is Naomi Takamoto. I guess you could call me whatever you want..." Naomi retreated to look up at Leucothia's teal eyes for reassurance. I hope she doesn't mind me holding her hand. It is quite silly for an eighteen year old... Naomi thought with a furrowed brow.

He looked at the new being inside this great forest listening in to her story..."I could take you to Yalen" Beret offered to the cat girl Naomi. "I'm heading there anyway...." He step forward, faceing the fox demon Inari not speaking to Naomi."You could have just asked I would have given you some...." He yelled at her. Spitting a very small amount of fire at her, that wouldn't catch anything on fire just scare her If possible.

Leucothia felt a hand grab onto her own. A small fragile thing, in her mind. She smiled softly to herself. If Leucothia could count how many things she loved, this would be one of them. Secretly, she did want to become a mother someday, but she figured it was much too late for her. She gripped Naomi's hand back reassuringly this was a lot to take in after all. Too much information does make ones head spin around in circles.

Leucothia heard Naomi speak to Inari in a small voice, she stuttered softly. When Naomi's eyes peered into hers, she could see her eyes looking for some kind of reassurance. Her own eyes gave what she was looking for. "It is okay, little one, this kitsune means you no harm while I'm around," She spoke quietly, yet sweetly.

The reassurance Naomi was searching for was given to her by Leucothia, and Naomi smiled. "Thank you, Miss Leucothia." Naomi spoke softly with a smile. She looked over to the boy who claimed to be heading to Yulan himself, which was a glimmer of good luck in this whole ordeal. "If it wouldn't be too much trouble, I would greatly appreciate it sir." She replied. "But do you mind if we wait a little while? I'm quite tired. But if you have certain plans of reaching there at a certain time, when can leave whenever." And I'm hungry more than anything. Naomi thought to herself.

She hadn't eaten anything this morning, since she usually eats at the tavern. But since, well, you know what happened, it's been hours and she hasn't consumed a single morsel. Naomi sat on the ground on her shins, just like when she sits under her kotatsu at home, and looked up at the group with big eyes. "Thank you again, for all of your help." She spoke softly, with a toothy grin showing one of the feline teeth she gets from her cat like side. She only ever had one of those sharp teeth, but it gives her a little character. "I really appreciate it, all of you."

"Ooo...scary." Inari said. "And if you can't see, I'm rolling my eyes." She smirked as she rolled her eyes "Maybe you've could of asked me for the fruits back. Although, it seems that you didn't, and now you're stuck here with two demons, a dragon boy, a little cat girl, and a mermaid." She laughed wickedly "I can just imagine feeding on your corpse right now, bones and all." She said and floated near Beret and patted him a bit roughly on the back. "Or maybe the little neko. I've never tried cat before and I'm hungry." She said playing with Naomi's ears. Inari always seemed to have a dark sense of humor and loved playing tricks on others. She had always lived a carefree life in the forest where nobody could bother her. In fact most of the forest creatures feared her anyway, nobody could trust a fox to keep secrets.

Leucothia smiled at Naomi when she had said, "Thank you, Miss Leucothia." A small smile graced her beautiful features. The girl really was one to admire, being able to talk to this band of great and perhaps dangerous creatures.

The Hydriad replied to Naomi in a calm tone, "You are quite welcome, Naomi." Suddenly began speaking to the Dragon Boy, whom she still did not know the name of. Her eyes watched the girl as she noticed she seemed hungry. The thing was, Leucothia didn't have anything on her and she would never eat an animal from the Greatwoods or Lake Elderar without their consent. It was a usual no, but occasionally, if the animal was sick or elderly, it was a yes. Then again, there was that dead squirrel family in the smashed trees. She shrugged it off, it would be cruel to eat the dead bodies of those poor, unfortunate family.

"Thank you again, for all of your help," Naomi said suddenly. "I really appreciate it." The girl gave a smile. Leucothia looked closer and saw she had a few feline teeth. She was a neko after all, so it did make sense. Then, all of a sudden, Leucothia got an idea.

"Are you hungry, Naomi? I can get you something hopefully," She said, smiling. There were plenty of berries around that weren't poisonous. Her father had taught her all about berries and other necessary survival skills.

Inari had started creating a little trouble again, threatening to eat the neko and dragon boy. She sighed and gave up this time. You can never teach a tricky demon something new, especially one as old as Inari. She rolled her eyes at Inari and then again waited for Naomi's answer.

Kail solemnly watched the clouds from the tower. She sighed, ever since she was chased away she had no friends, only servants which she made. "Mistress." A voice called out. She turned to see one of the golems she made, which were modeled accurately after humans, bow. "Your meal is ready." She waved it off. "I'll be down in a while, I'm thinking about things." She said. 'Yes,' She thought. 'Such is the life of the Lady of Ulfang.' She turned away from the sky and went inside Ulfang Tower.

Naomi shuddered as the fox woman fiddled with her ears, and ducked under the tricky fingers of the demon's grasp. "Are you hungry, Naomi? I can get you something hopefully," said Leucothia, a statement Naomi was extremely happy about. "If it wouldn't trouble you, I am quite hungry. But of course I can wait if you need me to." Naomi said, trying to be as respectful as possible. She did, after all, waltz in here and expect to be helped right away. She was lucky they even took the time to listen to her story, let alone help her.

Naomi, still sitting on the ground in her "kotatsu position" looked at the bunch. "And this food, were should we find it?" She asked, prepared to forage, hunt, or swim to find something good to eat.

Naomi replied in a respectful manner, "If it wouldn't trouble you, I am quite hungry. But of course I can wait if you need me to." Leucothia smiled at the neko girl, very glad she had excepted her offer. It would not be a good thing if the neko had collapsed from starvation of tiredness.

"Wonderful, I can get you anything you want. Well, what the land will permit," Leucothia said, mindful of what she wanted. Naomi suddenly sat down in what she believed was a kotatsu position.

She suddenly said, "And this food, were should we find it?"

Leucothia laughed, her own laugh sounded melodic. "As long as your in my presence, you needn't hunt or fish for food. Please name what you want," she said, in a soft voice

Meme had been up all night and couldn't fully process the beauty of the sunrise. It did irritate her eyes and manage to pause her in her work, if only for a moment. Tiredly, she rubbed her eyes and retreated to a small wooden stool in the corner of her workspace. The slew of weapon orders had her hustling and bustling to meet the deadline, which was today. She had to meet a high paying customer in Yulan, which was only a little ways away from her home at the base of the Forthwen Mountains. With a slight groan she pushed herself and load every mace, sword and bow onto her luggage cart, then hopped up onto her mare. A swift tap in the flanks and the midnight colored horse broke into a gallop, snorting as it gained speed.

The trip should have been quick and uninterrupted, but as the traversed the long dirt path her mare picked up unusual scents and went ballistic. She took off in their direction completely ignoring Meme's constant attempts to slow her. The cart rocked dangerously and in panic that the goods would be damaged, she did what any good merchant would do. And that was to ditch the cart entirely. It seems dumb yes, but better it sit untouched until she could calm Wisteria (the mare) than it bang about and chip her precious works of art. Standing unsteadily, she hopped up onto the saddle, like she was performing a dangerous circus act. Taking advantage of her tool belt, she reached forward and sliced the reigns holding the cart in place then watched as it stopped and grew smaller. She smirked in a satisfied way, unawares of the group they were approaching rapidly. Only she turned back, still standing did she notice and panicked.

"Look out idiots!" She practically screamed as she dropped back into the saddle, digging her heels into her mount's sides in a vain attempt to stop the rampaging beast. She knew that Wisteria was a wild spirit but she generally complied to Meme's commands, then again there are always those days where nothing goes right. She hadn't had one in a while so she supposed that she was merely paying her dues. A colorful stream of words flew from her lips as her horse skidded to a stop and sent her unprepared rider flying towards a dainty looking girl with cat ears. "Bwaaahh!" She cried as her tiny limbs flailed wildly.

Leucothia heard a sudden shout, "Look out idiots!" Her eyes shifted immediately to the source of the sound. Her eyes narrowed as she saw a tiny girl fly off the back of a wild horse. The unprepared stop caused her flying. Suddenly, Lecothia's eyes widened as she realized the girl was flying straight towards Naomi.

"Watch out, Naomi!" She shouted as she jumped forward and caught the girl like a football. Well, there was no football here, but anyways. Leucothia shielded the girl from any blow as she fell onto the ground. Her back hit the ground with a particularly loud clang of her armor. She stood up, carrying Meme princess style. Her hair was speckled with leaves and dust, yet Leucothia smiled at her. "I hope you are fine, Miss. I am called Leucothia, Guardian of Lady Elderar. How do they call you, miss?" She said suddenly, very nicely. Despite saving the girl from injury, she didn't feel hurt. Perhaps it was her parents watching over her.
