Other Random question of the day

Eminem is overrated but if I had to make a choice between him and MGK, I reluctantly choose Eminem.

Both have their own space in the television hall of fame, but I'm more of a Fresh Prince fan.

Absolutely not. I barely have a good grasp on culinary dishes at all.

No. It teaches other people having spoiled rotten entitled behavior can still reward you.

That's a blast from the past. I haven't thought about that show in nearly a decade. I'd probably agree with the folks who commented above me though I'm sure at least some of the behavior is played up for the cameras. I think more than anything, it glorifies this idea of a sixteenth birthday being something super special where you have to give your kid a brand new car. It's not. I just got strawberries for my birthday and I was perfectly happy.

It's reality TV. The drama is engineered to be heightened for the cameras or often as scripted as regular television drama. The fact it's sold to the network, production crews, and generaal consumers as "reality" means it's often got less expectations per the format. While My Super Sweet Sixteen started in 2005, a lot of reality TV dramas were spun up during the 2008 Writer's Strike on the basis that you can write these shows without professional writers. You just slap volatile elements together - or what you hope are volatile elements - and tease and manipulate them so they blow up for the camera. Or everyone on-film understands they're there to stir shit up.

I mean... depends on what your definition of "often" is I guess. I'm sure there's plenty who are, but I definitely don't think that's a rule. Particularly because you are representing / claim to be representing is more often than not not tied to a place.

Random question of the day:

Is it true that people who represent something are often looking for validation based on being from a place?
Absolutely
When someone is being an ambassador or representing something I would think validation is a big part of it.
A validation that what you believe in or representing is the right fit for your personal morals.
It can be very difficult to represent something you don't fully believe in or can not be validated by others.
(especially those you respect and trust)

Though to add you have to clarify what you mean by " being from a place."
This isn't specific enough and so I just translate it into the simplest terms. Representative is often used in business.

Random question of the day:

With Disney Junior announcing an Iron Man-based spin-off of Spidey And His Amazing Friends, could similar pre-scooler targeted series from non-Disney owned IPs find similar successes?

Random question of the day:

Have you ever eaten all the Halloween candy that was supposed to be given out to trick or treaters for yourself? If so, have you ever gotten in trouble for it?
