Clementine Citrine

The girl continues to work through her meals on the table with the soft creaking of the shirt as time goes on stretching it out as her form increases with the food, nodding periodically with the others comments and listening to the exchange. The girl would have responded but well speaking with her mouth full really wasn't polite, though she does wave to each as they leave clearing her mouth beforehand "Take care! See you in class!" a wide grin and smile to each before looking at those who remain.

It was then she did notice the boy who had been set off to the side and waves them over happily "Oh yeah it's fine, the others i think are just going to have a rest after such a fun day, Im Clementine, Clementine Citrine" extending an arm easily across the table towards them.

‘Oh god, the atmosphere just got heavy.’ Aaron thought to himself, also slowing down and deactivating his quirk. He felt a little bad for cheating. He could feel a deep, rich and compassionate sadness coming from Xander. “Ah, it’s uh, okay. You don’t have to tell me. Sounds like something for your best friend.”

“Let’s take turns asking questions though. Do you have a favorite candy?” He said trying to change the subject.

"Sounds like something for your best friend.” Aaron had said to him. when he heard "best friend" something clicked inside Xander he hadn't realized he'd had stored away for a couple years. the fact that- One of his only friends for years was his brother and best friend: Leo.

Leo was seen as a perfect being to Xander, he looked up to him in every-way, shape, and form, he tried to do whatever he could to be like, and approved by his brother. they had did everything in their lives together, Xander only seemed to want to talk to and play with him.

Until one day when Xander was ten and Leo was fifteen, That was the day his house got invaded by a villain looking to make some quick money.

after the villain spotted them the only thing Xander could remember happening was Leo bleeding in front of him as the villain ran off.

"are you okay?" was the last thing he remembered hearing from Leo, the rest was a blur.

Xander snapped back to his senses and wiped a tear off his face and sniffed and shook his head quickly for a second

Xander turned and nodded at Aaron with a small smirk

"Y-yeah, I got one.. P-probably Crunch bars are my favorite, Kaha! What's yours?" he asked him in a shaky voice

Aaron wasn’t sure to respond. He’d never really been a shoulder to cry on. He passed Xander the tissue box. “Um. You know those chocolate bars with the popping candy and the gummy bits? I’m a big fan of those. I had a friend who used to joke that my favorite should be Aero bars since my quirk is air-based, and my last name is Sky, haha... ha… Uh, now you can ask a different question.”

(I couldn't wait to introduce Aden either.)
Aden

Interaction: N/A

Location: Aden’s penthouse apartment.

This was a rare and special occasion for Aden. However, that didn’t mean he liked it. His mother had come over for dinner from England to try once again to persuade him to come home, she was currently droning through another speech about how much they cared for him and how silly of an idea it was. He elegantly cut a piece off his steak and scooped it into his mouth. “-father and I only want what’s best for you. To be safe, and to take over the position of Earl and be an upstanding member of society, all this hero stuff its, its ins-“ Here Aden cut his mother off by raising his hand for silence. He chewed his steak for a few moments and swallowed before speaking. “I’ve realized that words are meaningless now. So, I’m going to speak with action.” Gently he reached for his knife, picked it up and pointed it directly at his right eye. “A-Aden... Put the knife down.” His mother said worriedly, standing up from her chair to slowly approach him.

In an instant, Aden had plunged the knife right into his eye. But something unexpected happened. Instead of impaling the knife straight into his head, his quirk protected him, and the knife bent against his eye before he dropped it to the floor.

His mother fell to the floor staring at him in disbelief. Aden stood up and wiped his mouth with his napkin. “That’s my resolve.” He said before walking out the room without looking back.

Xander nodded, he wiped an eye with one of the tissues.

"..My question is... Oh I know!! Whose your favorite pro hero?" Xander's mood was in proving greatly from keeping his mind off his sad memory.

"Mine is probably Newtinium! The way he takes so many hits and reflects the energy back out is awesome! Say uh... Sorry for getting all weepy Aaron, Hope we can still be pals, Now that you know I'm less manly. He frowned

Jacki stood up “Well, I would love to stay and chat more but I need to go sleep off this concussion” Jacki laughed as she pointed to her bandages “So nice to meet you all. OH Clementine” She said before pulling out her wallet and handed Clementine about half the money Clementine had given the servers and a business card on top of it “The money is payback on paying the servers here and the business card is mainly for my number share with Ferryn. Actually hold on.” She explained before she handed Ferryn another business card “Ok, well see hopefully in class. Byeeee” She said in a sing-song way and skipped away. After she left the cafeteria she called her chauffeur who picked her picked her up and drove her home “Are you ok ma’am? The bandage tells me you were hurt” He said matter of factly “Yeah, I’m fine, I just got a small concussion, just like mom. The docs said the usual. Test and relaxation” Jacki said calmly “Ah, I see, so how was the rest of the test? It went well I hope?” He continued as Jacki perked up from the question “Oh, yeah it was great there was so many other Quirks. Like this one girl I met could spawn mouths out of everywhere on there body, another could fire laser beams and another girl could even control little bits of weather from her hands” Jacki babbled as they stopped at home and she got out of the car. “Let me know when Mum gets home or if any kids knock on the door, I might know them.” Jacki said out loud before she went into her room and went to sleep.

"Of course we can still be friends! It takes a whole lot of bravery to show someone you're weakside!" Aaron exclaimed, and mentally continued 'Hell I'm not brave enough.'

“Favourite hero huh?” Aaron laid his head on his hand and looked out the window. Meanwhile, Christopher who was bringing up refreshments paused at the door to listen in on Aaron’s answer. Aaron thought about saying Captain Sky, but that wasn’t true… He had mixed feelings about his dad. “Maybe Ms. Great? You know, the number one hero from 60 years ago? I saw some old videos of her, and she was really cool.”

Christopher felt a little dejected but told himself it was only because Aaron didn’t want Xander to realize he was Captain Sky. He waited a few minutes before entering with a tray of snacks and soda. “Heya! How you two doing up here?” He asked enthusiastically.

Mako Glass
Location:
Home?
Interaction: Family?
To say Mako lived in a bad part of town would be an understatement. Without money for a bus she'd become very familiar with the layout of the city due to her extensive time spent walking the streets. A such, she became used to noticing the surrounding buildings decline in quality as she approached the place she called 'home.' The plus side was that the closer she got, the less people stared at her for her off attire. Instead she could actually notice eyes turning away from her, her reputation alive and well in these parts.

Sure, there were the occasional glares from hoodlums or gang members, but for the most part she could feel herself relaxing as a certain building came into sight: Ming Lao's Sushi Buffet. The large man holding up an advertisement sign beside the front doors actually gave Mako a nod as she approached. She reciprocated, but instead turned to a gate right next to the building. It was locked, but Mako pulled a key from a pocket on the inside of her coat to open it. Making sure it was locked behind her, Mako continued down the alleyway beside the buffet. She passed an open door, where a woman in a server's uniform was having a smoke. Past her Mako could see into the kitchen, a small smile forming under her mask when she noticed the chef hard at work inside.

She continued down the alley and turned before approaching a set of stairs going behind the buffet, pausing to knock on a wooden window situated nearby. The chef slid open the window without looking up from the fish he was chopping, only after finishing the next cut did he glance up to Mako before returning his gaze to his work.

"It went well?" he asked curtly, struggling with a heavy accent as he continued cutting.

"We'll see about that when I get a letter." Mako said with another shrug as she leaned into the window "Until then I'm gonna need you to pass some info for me, Naegi. Have Raiko know that I'm gonna be handling mail until I get that reply, don't want him mistaking it for junk."

"Many oddities amongst our messages, not even Lao-san wants to handle it." Naegi noted as he moved the dice fish to the side and called another cook nearby to swap it out "She trusts Raiko with that task, have you asked-?"

"Ask her yourself if you're having doubts." Mako said as she stepped away from the window and glanced around the alley "Trust me, she knew what she was getting into the moment she suggested this."

He gave a low hum as he began working on another fish "Very well, he shall know. Hope those jokes we keep getting do not anger you too much."

Mako rolled her eyes as she slid her hood down "If Raiko of all people can handle them, then there's no way they're that annoying." she said as she began descending the stairs "Just stomp loudly if you guys need me."

Naegi merely grunted in response as he slid the window closed, Mako paused at the sound before unlocking the door behind the buffet and entering the basement.

It was pretty cramped, what with the business having to squeeze its almost all of its storage down here to make room for the buffet above. There were several chairs and even a full table kept down here in case one broke upstairs and needed to be replaced quickly. There was a sink right next to another shelf upon which were sets of other utensils and a locked Toolbox. But none of these things held a candle to the walk-in freezer which dominated half of the basement. Mako made sure to check the temperature displayed next to the door before walking around it to a single covered mattress lying beside it. Mako slid off her coat and tossed it onto the mattress before letting her jaws truly stretch out. Her hat soon joined her coat as she cracked her knuckles then washed her hands in the sink.

Afterwards, she pulled open the freezer and began looking through the contents within. Most of the fruits and veggies still seemed good, though she did notice a few starting to go bad. Those she pulled out and tossed behind her, where her jaws would snap towards them before devouring them whole. She repeated this process for every section of the freezer, tossing in any food that was at the end of its term. Once she was done here she'd move on to re-cleaning the basement. It was already far cleaner than any basement had a right to be, even for an eatery, but that didn't mean she could be lax in it's maintenance. It was where she lived after all.

-=Prof. Violet=-
581402

The soft tap of dress shoes against
a marble floor echoed throughout the darkened hallway that Prof. Violet walked.
It was dark, but just bright enough for him to see where he was going.
although if it were a stark pitch black; he'd navigate the room perfectly, he has studied the floor layout, and blue-prints of every single floor in the facility.

Purple gas pooled around his legs and was swept away with each step he took toward his destination, never lingering for long enough to have any effect on his visibility.

"Ninety-five, Ninety-six, Ninety-seven, Ninety-eight, Ninety-nine." He stopped instantly in the center of the room on his final step, Pro. Violet removed his glasses polished them with a cloth from his suit pocket and replaced them to in front of his eyes

"One-hundred steps. One-hundred steps is the exact amount of movement necessary for a slightly above average height male of the ages between fifty and sixty to arrive at the center of your chambers, Sir." He raised his head to look up at the cloaked figure of Mr. North.

as Prof. Violet's glasses reflected what little light there was in the large shadowed room he reached into his suit pocket, that burst with purple gas that spilled across the room and took out photos of: Stitcher, Liam King, Kyta Sao, and Sèitheach MacLeod. tossing them on the ground one by one.

"I've been keeping track of these heroes, Per your request, Mr. North. I'll also begin my monitoring of the next enrolled batch of students, once they are accepted: I'll sort out the important and powerful from the weak and useless. If my apotheoses are correct, they should be getting word of their acceptance within the next few days."

He pushed up his glasses as the gas on the ground climbed up from his feet to his waist.

"I'll be keeping in touch, As always."

the purple fumes surrounding Prof. Violet twirled up in a whirl wind around him as he faded away into several multi-colored images of himself.
he reappeared fifty paces into his one-hundred pace walk and slowly faded into the shadows

North stared at the pictures of the heroes. Gradually the photos were consumed by black fire, crumbling away before North let the ashes fall to the ground.

He had been the Leader’s right-hand man for years and even he couldn’t entirely follow her thinking. Did she really intend to choose a ‘successor’ from these brainwashed children? These ‘Heroes’ were the antithesis of almost everything the league believed in. Children hand-picked to fit societal standards and espouse antiquated ideas of morality that he could no longer believe in.

Ah… Perhaps that was why...

He remembered back when he took a hero exam himself all those years ago and was denied on account of ‘Not being marketable’. He walked up to the mirror and looked at his reflection. It was easy to see why they'd said that. His exo-skeleton and horns didn't exactly make him look heroic. He didn’t feel angry. Not anymore. He hadn’t felt anger in a long time. Just disappointment and emptiness. He no longer cared about changing the world for himself, he just wanted to fix what was broken for others.

Soon it would be time for the league to finally take action. North knew, that in the inevitable end, justice would ultimately prevail. He believed that. Perhaps if he could smile, he would.

Tilting her head for a moment as she ponders the question thinking over those she has met so far "I mean...there all really interesting so it's hard to pick one above the others, maybe Jacki? The whole black and white thing doesn't look cool but she could use even one thing of colour to wear since it would make it pop out really nicely" the girl seems more focused on the fashion and personality of those that had departed rather than the likely intent of the quirks and abilities

581524 All the paperwork was a pain in the ass. Luckily, Sao wasn't alone in his pain. Stitch was in the same boat. Kyta already knew his choices, why did he have to sit through all of this?! The boredom was painted across his face. To break the monotony, Kyta tried bringing up conversation. "For my exception, I've got a few ideas. Either Myatto Donboli, Aaron Sky, or that dragon kid. You know, the scaly one who had a tier 2 fall on his face?" Kyta took a quick swig of his home mad Kefir. "But I already know who you'd prefer." After a deep breath, Kyta kicked himself out of his seat. "Fuck it, let's get plastered. That clarity of sobering up should solidify my decision!"

"If you even think about getting drunk to make a decision, Kyta, I'll take away your sense of reality for as long as I have to." The cheerful voice of one Shay MacLeod made itself known as he entered the faculty room once more.

The nurse himself was looking rather haggard after a busy day at the infirmary. His hair was ruffled after carding his fingers through the honey-blond locks one too many times, dark circles were beginning to form under his eyes and his uniform was disheveled every which way. The man made quick, confident strides towards one of the available couches before immediately collapsing onto the seat, letting himself sink into the soft cushions.

Across from Kyta, Stitcher was multitasking as only he could, he was manipulating 12 pencils at once with his tendrils and holding a mug of coffee with another.

“Hmm. None of those three had particularly strong quirks. Maybe the dragon kid. It would be good for the school’s reputation if we let in a few more radical mutant types with the current political climate. And I’ll pass on drinks. My artificial liver isn’t quite up to snuff recently, Huhaahaa.” He took a deep careless drink of the coffee, almost getting more on the floor then in his mouth. “For my exception, I’m considering Donovan Willow. His quirk is powerful. He shouldn't be excluded just because he dropped a few buildings on a few civilians. Control is the easiest thing to teach after all.”

He turned his head to the new arrival. “Do you have any suggests Shay?”

She explained. "Next, on my watchlist, are the ones who started freaking eating the robots, one of them seemed to be upgraded by it, developing armor and such, so that's solid. My only concern is the range of the one who didn't receive upgrades, while she consumed attacks as well, it would appear her weakness is at range." Yuu continued, "Oh, and the bear guy was cool." "That one kid though—Aaron Sky, was it?—showed a lot of potential from what little I've seen despite his earlier mental breakdown and his fainting spell mid-exam."

"The two girls who brought him to me—Ferryn Evans and Jacki Fleitcher, I believe—had a pretty good mentality too. They showed concern for the boy and got him to safety instead of just leaving him out in the crossfire."
Shay pointed out, his voice only slightly muffled by the pillow that he had sunk his face into. He raised his head to stare at the cup of coffee that Stitcher had in one of his many, many tendrils. "Hand me some of that, will you?"

The sharp clang of a metal scabbard against heavy armor and the thud of boots could be heard approaching the door of the office, the lights inside the room flickered slightly before readjusting to the change in electricity, the handle of the office door had small strikes of weak electricity jump across it as Bushido entered the room with a happy but solemn look on his face

"Good afternoon everyone. My apologies for not being able to attend the exam, I was caught up in a hostage situation. Don't worry the civilians are safe and that fiend has been locked away." He said as he walked over to take a seat, crossing his arms

"How are the aspiring young heroes looking so far, Kyta and Stitcher? Are you exited to show the youth how us 'old timers' did hero work?" He chuckled and shook his head.

"No one was too hurt, correct Séitheach? I hate to see anyone discouraged due to an injury at the exam. Oh, and the personnel exception! I had forgotten about those completely. I suppose I'll let one of you tell me who to pick, Seeing as I didn't get to watch any of them work, once again my apologies for that." Bushido frowned as he spoke

A bunch of tendrils extended from Stitcher’s back and into the teacher kitchen. They gently navigated by touch until they found the coffee pot. Two picked up the coffee beaker and poured a mug for Shay. “Milk and sugar?” Stitcher asked, without rising from his seat. Once he’d heard Shay’s reply, he prepared the cup and passed it to him. “Looking out for others is what a hero is about… Well, that and beating up anyone who steps out of line, Huhaa… But without a good quirk, they are just going to get killed. If you ask me, they are better off joining the police or working at a hospital. I’m tired of hearing reports of dead students.” Stitcher said, flashing back to when he first started teaching at Free States, and what happened to the first class he graduated.

It was then that Bushido arrived. "Huhaaaa... This is a good batch of students. Want some coffee?"

Sure, Shay could threaten and stop Kyta from drinking, but he spiked the coffee with some whiskey before even coming in. It's just that the concoction is becoming more and more coffee. "You're not the one having to do all the bullshit work!" He called out to Shay. As a mixture of argument and work pursued, other teachers began making their way inside. Primer could hear Bushido and his ridiculous armor from a mile away. At the very least, people coming in was a good distraction. While everyone else was distracted, Kyta poured the final bits of whiskey he had from a flask into the coffee. As he was doing so, he heard Bushido refer to him as the same ilk as the old timers. "Hey, fuck you! I'm 25, jackass!" He called out as he threw the now empty flask at Bushido. After his quick retaliation, Kyta got back into his usual position. "Pin cushion's got a point. We gotta get flashy." Kyta thought for a second. "How about I bring in that shaolin munk that taught me?"

As his electrical field caught the flask midair he laughed "Come now Kyta! You know I'm only joking around, I'm only 29 myself, no need for violence. We should be working as one unit to teach these students. Here, I'll even help you with some of your paper work if you'd like."

He floated the flask back to Kyta as he walked over to the foreboding stacks of papers, the flask gave a bit of a shock when first touched but other than that it was fine.

"I see that Mr. King is being especially thorough this year, Hm?"
Bushido said as he looked over the masses of papers

Séitheach "Shay" MacLeod

"You're a good teacher, Stitcher, if we ignore some of your more unfortunate tendencies." Shay chuckled as he cradled the cup of coffee he was offered like it was a precious gem. Taking a sip, he leaned back into the couch and let the sweetened drink wash over him. There was something... off about the taste, however.

"Well, if it isn't my favorite lightning rod." The crackle of electricity signaled to his attention the arrival of a certain pro-hero. Shay flashed him a carefree smile, curling up on the couch as he drank from his mug. "There were no serious injuries, thanks to the amount of effort me and the other nurses had put in to taking care of them." At this, he pointed a glare at Kyta for his offhanded comment. While the other was a guiding hand for life to grow, he was someone that preserved that life, and their day jobs were no more important than the other.

With that, Shay downed the rest of his coffee, and that was when he noticed. There was a pleasant burn he was very familiar with that trickled down his throat, and it wasn't kind that came with drinking hot coffee. "Kyta..."
