Liam glanced over at Primer. "Hm? What do you mean how are we going to do this? You were scoring the students right? We're going to get all the teacher's scores and round them out." He smirked and chuckled. "I don't think that will require mountains of paperwork." The man brought his walkie talkie to his mouth. "I'd like all staff who watched the exam to meet me in the conference room. Thank you." With that Liam left the observation room.

He had finished his bag of chips and tossed it into the trash can behind him.

Ferryn turned red, and tried to formulate her response to that; a gentle explanation that she'd always had a stutter... but then the boy continued talking, as though perhaps he had thought about that. Or maybe, he just liked to talk a lot and very fast. Though, he patted her on the shoulder, and Ferryn couldn't help but smile.

"I-I had r-r-really been hoping f-for robots, so I- so I'm glad it w-was! My q-quirk did well on... well on them." She paused, trying to get her tongue to obey her. "Y-y-you... you seem like you did well... did well, too."

"Kah, Ya' think so? Well thanks, glad to hear that I wasn't slacking!"

He dropped out of the pose and looked back at her and raised an eye brow and asked:

"Say, I never got your name, Who are you? I know you're probably trying to become a student here. but that's about all I know."

Xander stuck out his large hand

"I'm Xander, I'm trying to be a student here too. There now Ya' got my name, So what's yours?"

He smiled while he held out the hand happily

Mako caught herself before she could snicker at the girl's mention of the flavor of the machines . It was nearly poetic with how ironic it was.

Now she knew for a fact that she tore apart more than enough of the Faux villains to qualify, but even so she didn't respond to the large girl's assumption about her. The exam was for a hero school, and being a hero was about more than tearing apart enemies. Out there she could only save one civilian with her own two hands, and that was after the exam officially concluded. She wasn't good at saving people, not with her rampant hunger as a factor. She supposed she'll just have to hope they didn't determine results based solely on that.

The theme of irony continued once the girl mentioned getting something to eat, causing Mako to raise an eyebrow at her. She knew for a fact that she really didn't have to go along with her suggestion, but the idea of checking on those at the sick bay got through to her. That was something that heroes would do, even if her quirk made her hesitant to get near any wounded people.

"Sure, let's do both, we'll ask people to join up on the way." Mako said with another shrug as she turned away "Name's Mako, I don't think I'll be able to snack with you all, but let's make this happen."

As she spoke, she began making her way to the Nurse's office, making sure not to bump into anyone along the way. Seems the other Examinees had spread out after the Exam, with Mako taking note of their expressions as she passed. It had been said that only two percent of applicants would make it in, so most of these faces she would never see again. At least, not regularly. Mako was trying to determine people's reactions to the exam, as there was no time to do so during it. She would invite whoever she passed to their little get together, but her somewhat tame tone mixed with her odd appearance wasn't the most inviting thing in the world.

Christopher got up and prepared to go. “I’m afraid I’ve still got to go to my hearing. They won’t be happy that I up and left.” He said, but in truth he didn’t want people to see him with his son, he didn’t want his son to have to deal with the stigma of being the son of a disgraced hero. So Christopher left in a hurry, and as soon as was out of the building flew away (The benefits of having a hero license. He wasn’t sure what to do if it was revoked.)

Aaron was discharged from the infirmary slightly after. He was left with all sorts of questions about his quirk, since he no longer knew it’s parameters. As he was leaving the infirmary, he saw Mako talking to Clementine. “Hey!” He said walking over “Congrats on the exam! You two did great.” He said cheerfully, trying to hide his disappointment with his less then stellar performance.​

Xander turned his attention from Ferryn in front of him to the boy who had just exited the Nurse's office, he recognized him from the Faux city Exam.

"Oh hey, are you that kid who blasted himself into a wall or something with his own quirk?"

His face had genuine curiosity in it has he looked the boy up and down with narrow eyes

"Hm, Seems like you made it out okay. but what happened to you? I only heard of it from examinees who saw it happen." He said raising an eyebrow

Xander seemed to tower over Aaron, Both in height and broadness, the boy was huge for his age. One arm hung at his side limply, the other was scratching the boy's neck.

"But those seem like some kinda made up rumor huh, Ya' probably didn't run into a wall with your own quirk."

With another examinee safely discharged from the infirmary, Shay turned his attention towards another of his patients. With the number of people who took a shot at the exams, he and the nursing staff were working around the clock in order to make sure that everyone was as healthy as they could possibly be. Internally, he was relieved by the fact that the test only happened yearly and he wouldn't have to deal with such a huge flood of cases for a long while.

"Ah, you're awake." Shay smiled down at the girl as her eyes fluttered open. "You got hit in the head pretty hard, kiddo. How are you feeling?"

Jacki woke up with a splitting headache and blurry eyesight which slowly became clearer with each blink. As she touched her hair she was surprised to feel gauze wrap all around her head “What happened…” She said quietly as she tried to remember what had happened although all that she could remember was an unconscious kid and a pain in the back of her head “Oh, right concussion, hehe.” She chuckled as she got up “Yeah, I’m totally fine besides a splitting headache and temporarily memory loss, it's just a concussion. I'm sure plenty of other kids here need more attention than I do right now, let's just hope I don't visit here too often if I get in, yeah” Jacki said “Mums an actress, so she gets concussions quite a bit so I know how to deal with them. Some rest and nothing to difficult” She said “Anyway, I’m going to go meet-up with some friends, thanks for taking care of me and that other kid, see ya” She then walked out and not too long after she ran into a whole bunch of different kids waiting outside only truly recognizing Clementine, Mako and Aaron “Hey people that I just met, I’m starved so you guys want to go grab a bite to eat, my shout just order within reason of course.” Jacki said as she walked towards Clementine and stopped and started to measure her height against Clementines new height “W-weren’t you taller? Ah well probably just a quirk thing, also neat shirt” Jacki asked a bit confused before turning around and bowing slightly “Hi, name’s Jacki Fleitcher. Thank you for covering me and those two other kids, thank you for making sure he’s ok and your welcome for dragging your unconscious body to one of the teachers” Jacki said pointing to Mako, Ferryn and finally Aaron “So is anyone of you guys also injured? I’ve just got a concussion, nothing that can’t be shaken off.” Jacki said as she involuntarily shook her body

As they approached the Nurse's office, Mako saw some familiar faces hanging around. Before she could pass invitations to their little get together, the door opened revealing yet another familiar face. One of the boys who she had initially spoken to during the exam, the one she remembered getting carried off. He took note of her presence, and called out to them with congratulations as he approached. Before he could get to close, he was accosted by the next familiar face. Yet another boy she recognized who immediately started questioning him about how he wound up in the infirmary.

"I'll give ya the benefit of the doubt and assume you overworked yourself helping out the civvies." Mako spoke as she approached glancing from Aaron to Xander, who she gave a quick once-over before nodding "Good to see you relatively unscathed."

She looked back to Aaron and reached out before giving him a single pat on the shoulder "Good job," she stated simply before returning her hand to her coat pocket and turning to face Xander and the other girl he seemed to have been talking with.

She could place all of them in certain memories of the exam, but her limited focus at the time meant she wasn't sure how effective they were at their individual task. She put that out of her mind, reasoning that the staff were the ones who decided that in the end. So instead she jerked a thumb back to Clementine.

"She says we should all-"

Before Mako could finish a veritable tsunami of speech walked itself out of the Nurse's office and decided to let loose in the form of Jacki. Mako lowered her hand as Jacki proceeded to; suggest food, comment on clementine's height, introduce herself, thank them, seek potential injuries then downplay her own without missing a beat.

Mako gave it a second... then three more before figuring she was done for the moment, "Guess you had the same idea as her," Mako noted with a small glance to Clementine, she looked back to Jacki "Name's Mako, I don't exactly feel injured, can't say the same for everyone-"

She looked back over the others "-but they look fine to me."

Xander blinked a couple times as he looked from Mako, to Jacki, to Aaron, to Ferryn trying to process what had just been said. He finally rested his gaze on Jacki

"Uhm... Right, I think you said getting food somewhere in there, and I'd totally be up for gettin' some grub." He said to the strange bandaged girl who seemed to have exploded into the hall.


He'd have to talk to Aaron more later, for now It would be nice to meet some of his possible future classmates. He turned his gaze over to Mako.

"Oh, And you're that girl who was totally wiping the floor with the tin cans! Kahah! Nice work out there!!"

His face went from that of a scowl to a quite happy looking one as he gave a thumbs up to Mako

"So, You the one setting up this whole lunch thing we got?"

"Excuse me," Shay's voice dripped with thinly veiled amusement as he leaned out of an open window, a pleasant smile taking form on his lips as he watched the group. "I wouldn't suggest making so much noise in front of the infirmary. Some of our patients need rest, and well, you wouldn't want to find yourselves being admitted, now would you?"

The pro-hero had meant to say that as a joke, but there was no telling how the other party saw it. He wasn't known to be prone to violence as a few other of his superpowered colleagues were, but he wasn't known to be the nicest either. His ruthless efficiency in the field and the terrifying versatility of his quirk only cemented his reputation as a force to be reckoned with amongst the masses.

Xander turned back to see who the voice came from and saw Nurse Shay, he looked him up and down- Well what he could see at least. and nodded

"Kahah! Welp, I'll be at the food court if ya' feeling like eating somethin', Name's Xander by the way. If you were wondering."

Xander then tugged his right arm back into it's place and moved his fingers around a few times and flexed it before he gave a quick wave as he walked away to the sent of food

"Catch ya' around, Mako and..... You guys, We'll have to get more common with each other later I guess."

He walked past Clementine and raised and eyebrow at the thing she was wearing that looked like chain-mail and kept walking.

"Hope they got a food court. Or I'm gonna look really dumb." He thought to himself as he walked aimlessely down the hall

Clapping to herself letting out a series of heavy clang though girl once again laughs in merriment "Wonderful, Wonderful, We could make it a full party..." blinking though at her introduction as she goes to offer a hand before the girl turns away "I'm Clementine, Clementine Citrine its nice to meet you...huh? what do you mean you don't think you can snack with us? Oh if it's an Allergy or Diet thing I'm sure we can find something that suits everyone..I mean I'm not a picky eater so anything is fine with me" keeping a curious glance on them as they begin to walk in the direction of the medical area with a few requests for directions here and there to ensure they didn't get lost, and more than a few clangs from their head as they misjudge the doorframes.

Join in with the invitations as she loomed over the top of the shorter girl, her excited and youthful expression and appearance may have been inviting, their sheer size and bulk though slightly intimidating, never the less to her there was no harm in asking anyway. Turning to one of the arrivals she nods in acknowledgement with a grin and a bit of embarrassment causing them to glance away again "Oh it wasn't anything, I just helped keep the numbers down, it was everyone else that was saving people that did the real work you know? I just broke a few machines is all" blinking for a moment she recalls their original purpose once more and introduces herself, adding the invitation to go out for food and look for others at the end.

It was then however that she noticed the wounded form of Jacki, walking over and crouching down to investigate given she was double the girl's height, her eyes showing some concern at the head wound. Her spirits where up at least so really likely just a small bump that looked worse than it actually was "Oh right thank you, erm yeah I guess im a bit taller than before, its a side effect of my quirk sometimes, Law of conservation you know?" laughing lightly as she pats her stomach "A few cuts and grazes but nothing a good meal won't fix, as soon as i get some proteins in me at least, also let me get my skin back to normal since im a bit out of proportion at the moment, was actually seeing who we could drag along for a big celebration meal you know?"

A nod in acknowledgement to Mako as they also respond, now she thinks about it there was a bit of something off with them, hmm maybe a low blood sugar or they were worried about something? never the less a good party and good food would surely fix that. She raises a hand at Xander's comment though to correct them "Oh no it was me, I mean i haven't booked reservations or anything yet, I thought best to make sure its a place everyone is good with before i called to make sure they were ready for a larger group you know? Just gathering people up to decided" it was then that the nurse interrupted them though and she jumped somewhat in surprise, the entire ground shaking for a moment as she lands from the small hop before clasping her hands bowing down in apology "Oh im so sorry, I just thought some food might help people feel better...We can bring you back some as well if you would like though?, This gentleman seems to want the food court which now i think about it does have enough variation for Mako's concerns and definitely able to support the group numbers..I only have a few thousand on me though so I'm sure they support cards right?... I don't usually go to the courts you see so not sure" her tone so casually when speaking about the money many may think they misheard her.

Aaron had no idea how to respond to Xander, this very overbearing figure who had come out of left field and started asking him intimidating questions. “W-well I…” he mumbled. In his head he had two ideas of what to do, he could say it wasn’t him, or he could act cool and try and make a joke out of it.

His Salvation arrived in the form of Jacki; who’s sudden chatter managed to draw attention away from Aaron. “Food sounds nice? I’d love to talk to all of you more. Don’t worry, I can pay for my own food. We’ve got good income because my mom is a singer, and my dad is a her- *cough* lawyer. Got something in my throat there, haha.” he said nervously. ‘Crap. I really screwed that up.’ He thought. ‘It’s been a while since I had anxiety, hasn’t really happened in a few years’

He decided to try shifting the topic a little. “I don’t normally eat too healthily really. Eating heavy foods like steak makes me feel a little sick, I eat a lot of candy, and often only have two meals a day. Probably the reason I’m still short, haha…ha.” He said. ‘God this is awkward’ he finished in his head. “*So, uh *cough* where should we go? Think the food court is serving? If not, I know a few restaurants in the area since I live around here”.

When the entrance exam finally ended, Kama let out a relieved sigh. He didn't have anything left in him so all he really could do was run and kick. He stood up from his spot and began walking home with his limp arms swinging around. The boy didn't think he needed to go to the nurse because usually his arms just start feeling better naturally plus there was probably a big line.

Xander sat at a table alone scarfing down food from the large platter in front of him, filled with mostly meat based food. all the other examinees seemed a bit scared to sit down and talk to the giant shoveling food into his mouth, but Xander didn't mind.

"Mhhhm! The food here is great!! Just another reason I wanna get in here!" He said with his mouth full

both his arms had recovered from the relapse of his quirk so he was using both to eat and drink. He looked around the food court for people he recognized.

"Wonder if those other people from earlier are gonna show. I sure hope so, They seem cool, And I never got that Blonde Girl's name.."

“Hey, uh. Sorry to ask, have any of you seen the guy who was firing laser beams? I wanted to thank him for helping me out.” Aaron asked nervously, before taking the initiative to move the group to the cafeteria before the nurse got annoyed again.

When he arrived in the cafeteria, he tried to avoid sitting to close to Xander, who had disturbed him with the questions about the accident he had with his quirk. Tell the truth the new holes he had across his body were aching, and he was quite concerned about them and whatever they did.

Xander saw the boy he recognized from the Nurse's office, the boy seemed to be avoiding eye contact with him, Xander stood up and started walking over menacingly

"Hey, You! I forgot to ask you something." He was halfway to him, his heavy boots clunking on the ground as he walked over with clenched fists, something about his face seemed somewhat angry

"I forgot to ask." Xander towered over Aaron once more and cast a large shadow, Some of the examinees looked over to the scene, as Xander put a heavy hand on Aaron's shoulder, raising an eyebrow.

"I never asked. Are you okay? you seemed in pretty bad condition, and you have a lot of holes all over you. I'd hate to see you get rejected cause ya' got too hurt. Y'know?"

The look of anger fled his face and was replaced by one of concern.

Aaron braced himself when he saw Xander coming over. He’d seen this song and dance before, but this time he didn’t have Wally to stand up for him. Xander was going to ask him a question he couldn’t answer and turn it into an insult, then everyone would laugh.

But that didn’t happen? “Are you okay?” That simple question came entirely out of left field to Aaron. “Huh?” He said, doing a mental double check, doubting what he’d heard. He looked at Xander and remembered that this wasn’t middle school, this was the try out for a hero academy. Aaron instantly realized he’d misjudged Xander, sure he was blunt and a little insensitive, but his heart was definitely in the right place. Aaron could be friends with this guy.

“I think I’m fine. Pushed my quirk a little hard and had a complication.” He said, rubbing his back as he played it off. “I’m probably not going to pass the exam anyway, my performance throughout was a little poor. But it’s fine, I’m determined now so even if I don’t get in, I’m going to train a bunch and apply for a hero university course.”

"Kahah! C'mon, That's no attitude to have, If you over worked your quirk- well that just means you were giving it your all" He said grabbing his right arm and flexing.

"Ya' seem a little tired. C'mon, Let's grab something to eat, This place has got some great food to choose from!" Xander noted while nodding his head.

He proceeded to take Aaron by the arm and walk him to an open booth to order him some food.

"Ya' gotta eat to keep your muscles in check!"

It seemed like struggling against his powerful grip would be a losing battle

Mako knew better than to try and speak too much when in groups like this, it wasn't cool at all to throw in her own two cents when she was just trying to help out Clementine. She let her deal with explaining everything, and resorted to merely nodding or shrugging whenever her name got brought up. As the group continued talking, Mako wondered if this was what it would be like if she got accepted. She'd no doubt be spending a lot of time at this school, but was this really a taste of what was to come? She stifled her thoughts, there was still no assurance that they'd get accepted, no matter what Xander or Clementine or any of them thought about her performance. But still, there wasn't much else she could do until her reply came through, so she figured she'd be able to indulge herself a little with their company.

There were benefits to staying quiet, she was free to focus on the conversation with her ears alone as her eyes wandered. As they did, she noticed yet another familiar boy from the exam taking his leave. There seemed to be something wrong with him from the way his arms were dangling, but she figured it was none of her business to make assumptions. She'd seen the blast he'd used during the exam, maybe he was just tired or something.

That did nothing to distract her from the conversation, and when she turned back she found Clementine still asking if anyone wanted to join their little after-battle snack. They were momentarily halted by the nurse commenting on the volume outside of his office. Mako merely nodded at his urging for them to leave before taking several steps back herself. It was then that Clementine mentioned something that made her snicker under her mask. Variety? That's what she thought Mako wasn't willing to eat for? An issue like that was a pipe dream to Mako, but the sincerity with which Clementine spoke reminded her of the good intentions within that statement.

"Heh, a nice thought." she said with another shrug before watching as Xander began looking for the food court "Doubt it'll help me, but I bet you'll all enjoy it."

With that she followed the rest towards what she assumed was the school's food court. Or maybe they were just handing out food to examinees and they just happened to find the right place, the only thing that mattered was that Xander was already stuffing his face until he and Aaron seemed to start talking about his incident during the exam. Mako didn't bother sitting at the table, it wouldn't do her any good anyways, she merely found another one nearby which she leaned against as she watched their altercation.

"He's right ya know," she stated as Xander began dragging him to a booth for some grub "think of it this way, you saved way more civvies out there than i did, so you shouldn't be so hard on yourself."

Her jaws quivered a bit at the sent of edibles, making her pause for a moment before raising a hand in front of her face and stating "A hero is one who uses their abilities for the betterment of the people, no matter the cost. They do what others can't in times of need, putting their lives at risk for the benefit of others." she returned her hand to her coat pocket "Long as you remember that and act accordingly, you're a hero... Academy or not."

But after saying that, she went quiet again as her thoughts returned to the boy she saw leaving. She wasn't one for butting into other people's business, but she wondered if a hero would've followed up on him. She couldn't say whether he was just exhausted or if he was wounded in some way, but the idea that she hadn't done anything to confirm that started making her grumble.

Ferryn Evans
Like the girl with the mask over her mouth, Ferryn mostly just watched the conversation. She would've fired off her two cents at the speed that everyone else was, but she simply couldn't. That was just the way it was.

Others were mentioning their parents' professions, and that they were well to do, etc... Ferryn's family wasn't poor. Just kind of average and invisible. And Ferryn hadn't brought any money with her today... she hadn't thought much about food. She had planned to go home after the exam... she hadn't expected to be finding herself in the company of half a dozen kids.

Since she didn't say much, nobody ever paid her much attention or made her a part of their groups. And honestly, no one had really acknowledged her or anything, she was kind of just along for the ride. Although, to be honest, it was more relaxing that way; to not have to worry about coming up with responses fast enough. Maybe she'd linger in the group a little longer, even though she didn't have any cash. She could eat later... it was nice to feel like a part of something.

Aaron was about to raise his voice and speak up, tell Mako that just because she couldn’t save the civilians herself didn’t mean anything, that she had them on her mind the whole time, and had organised the team up specifically to help them, and at least half the civilians he’d saved should be accredited to her.

But then Xander grabbed his arm. “Ah. H-hey!” He exclaimed as he way pulled away, but Xander didn’t seem to hear him. He watched in mounting horror as the cafeteria workers loaded his plate with more and more food, leaving him with more then he’d normally eat in a day.

As Xander kept ordering Aaron meal after meal after meal, He noticed Aaron looking at the platter in front of him a bit nervously.

"Hm? Oh, Kaha! Don't worry pal, Starting from today, I'm putting you on 'Xander Malker's Hero diet!' you don't gotta worry about paying, I can cover it!" He seemed to have misunderstood his reaction as not being able to afford the amount of food; instead of not being able to eat the amount of food.

"Oh and, I'm Xander Malker. If ya' were wonder whose diet it is." Xander gave a thumbs up to him and smiled

Xander brought him back over to his table with the food he'd left there and saw Mako across the way and waved her over to sit with them and shouted

"Oy!! Mako!! Come eat with us, Like ya' said you wanted too!!" if he was being ignored he didnt seem to notice
