Quarantine London [Inactive]

When she found a Convenience Store that seemed both untouched and unlooted, she slowly opened the front door, with her bow and arrow ready in case something were to come out and attack her. She saw a few left over candy bars on the counter. After quickly scanning the area, she grabbed the closest Snickers Bar to her, opened it and slowly started eating it, wanting to enjoy it.
 
Sydney saw a convenience store that looked empty. Her stomach rumbled, but she thought she saw movement inside. She made sure her knife was handy just in case. She entered the convenience store, quickly and quietly snatching candy bars and other snacks, shoving them into her pockets, stopping to snack on a 3 Musketeers, her favorite candy. The wrapper fell to the ground making a noise, and Sydney immediately paused.
 
Alyssa sleeps soundly, her exhaustion took over and just knocked her right out. Talking about her boyfriend calmed her and made her fall asleep, although she was still scared something would happen. In her dreams her and Ed were just laying in the grass then all of the sudden a bomb dropped and he pushed her away, Alyssa was screaming in her dream and in real life, "Ed!"
 
Janie folded her arms across her chest watching the stranger suddenly bold. She turned her head toward the sleeping Alyssa as she let out a scream. Janie walked back over to her backpack and unzipped it, pulling out her beans and sat down deciding the finish the can for her breakfast. She would have to scrounge up something for her next few meals. Searching with these two would be a bit of a challenge.
 
"Alyssa?!" He said, but noticed she was just talking in her sleep. "Janie, can you watch her? I need to go check out the convenience store for some more food." He hoped he could trust Alyssa in Janie's hands.
 
Janie looked up at Max and shrugged. "I'm not a baby sitter. I'll watch her, but I won't protect her if she puts my life at risk." she brushes some dirt from her hands before picking up her spoon and licked it clean. She tossed the empty can out the window. "What are you going there by yourself for? I thought you said it was safer not to be alone."

Mayumi heard the wrapper hit the ground. Being one who is very sharp, she quickly grabbed her Compound Bow and readied it. Somehow she knew that she was not alone. "Hello? Who's there?" She asked with determination. After finishing off her Snickers Bar, she pulled the arrow back, ready to fire whatever was going to come at her, whether it was a Looter, Bandit or something that wasn't human.

Eventually the nightmare made her wake up and she was crying and sweating. She looked at Max, "W-where are you going?" She bit her lip, she really needed a friend right now, and she was glad she met Max.
 
"Well she's awake now..We can ALL go together now. Happy Janie?" He put his hands on his hips and looked into Janie's eyes. He walked over to Alyssa and helped her up. "We're heading to the convenience store. And we are ALL going", he said looking at Janie.
 
Alyssa nodded and hugged Max, "good thing I woke up, I don't trust her" She whispered very quietly to Max then backed up, wiping away the tears and put on a smile.
 
Janie picked up her bag from the ground and threw it over her shoulder. She tilted her head confused. "I don't understand how that is supposed to make me happy." She pushed the broken door to the side and stepped out into the sun waiting for the duo outside.
 
*Last night*


Sam stood up and moved toward the entrance, peering out and looking both ways down the street, it was still so hard to see. He decided it might be best to stay hidden in the warmth with the fire. And goes back to his wall. 'These are my streets' He thinks, 'I grew up here, I know them.' He lies down on the small matt he calls a bed and attempts to dose off. He begins to hear shrieks and screams in the night. He closes he eyes and tries to block them out. His streets sang to him at night
 
Max followed Janie out with Alyssa, putting his hand on the knife handle, just to be on the safe side. He listened closely for any sound. He stayed behind Janie and let her lead them to the store.
 
Janie turned her head to both sides listening for any movement before heading down the road. She could hear Max and Alyssa's footsteps, so she didn't need to look behind her to figure out if they were following. She headed down the street alert toward any movement. She turned a few corners avoiding any streets that seemed to already have occupants, until they reached the store. She opened the door and held it open to allow Max and Alyssa to enter first.
 
"Are you a threat to me?" Sydney figured they were armed, and wasn't about to just walk out with only a knife on hand, when they could have a gun, or something worse. She got her knife handy, and stood at the edge of the aisle, ready to turn and face whoever was there. It sounded like a female.
 
"I won't hurt you if you won't hurt me. Just show yourself and I won't shoot." she responded, saying that she was armed, but not what she was armed with. Still frightened to a degree, she still kept her bow at the ready. "I'm not a looter or bandit. Just a survivor, like you."
 
Andrew looked at sam


"it's nothing, just ran into another one of em, still not exactly used to them"


Sam gave Andrew an understanding look.


Andrew took off his bag and pulled out two cans of food and two bottles of water.


"so, you hungry?"

Sydney listened and slowly stepped out, seeing the girl visibly now. She still kept her knife up, but it was lowered a little bit. The girl had a bow and arrow, which made Sydney a little nervous. She tried not to show it, so that she didn't come off as weak, and an easy target. "I'm Sydney." She introduced herself, glancing curtly between the girl and her bow and arrow.
 
Mayumi slowly lowered her weapon and allowed the young girl to approach. "Hi Sydney...I'm Mayumi." She introduced herself as she set her bow down on a nearby counter as she placed her unused arrow back into her quiver.
 
Slowly opening her eyes, she gave out a loud long yawn. The sun hit her face, making her naturally squint her eyes."Wha....what happened?" The last thing she remembered was walking through the icy rain, yet now she was in the middle of a ally on the ground "oh geez am I dead?" She thought. Getting up she looked her self over "oh thank god, I'm all..."her smile disappeared , now a straight face. Looking up seeing a infected crazy running her way screaming and murmuring noices. "dammit..." She ran out of the ally with a burst of speed, desperately searching her belt for her weapon.
 
Reaching back she began to panic realizing her blades were gone. She turned around dodging the insane as it lunged for her. Scraping her leg across a stone a warm liquid began to. Pour out, she winced, walking was out of the subject at the moment, yet all that was on her mind was to find her weapon and kill this creature. Looking around, she desperately searched for them, yet they were no were to be found. Noticing the creature was crawling torwards her, she began to crawl backwards, her back hitting a remainder of a wall. Fear racked her body,"this is it...this is how I'm leaving this sad world, this is my end.."she thought, closing her eyes she accepted her fate waiting for the painful future ahead.,
 
Andrew showed sam the can of beans


"I also got some fruit, oh and you'll like this!" Andrew exclaimed as he pulled out a bag of jerky


Suddenly there was a shriek outside.


Andrew looked at Sam as he grabbed his crowbar.


"should we check it out? Or should we lay low and wait?"
