Realistic or Modern Put It Into Speed Drive

Max arrived at the studio early for once frowning deeply when she saw Ima getting ready for a shoot. She gave a heavy sigh watching her for a moment before going into the office to start editing photos for their website.

Eddie frowned softly at her answer and gave a small nod "Right....so whats the horror movie about?" He asked smiling trying to get her in a better mood.

She shrugged it off a little and smiled at him. “It’s a Saw spinoff.” She told him. “I already told you that the other day.” She smiled more at him, shaking her head. “Memories worse than mine Ed.” She teased him.

Ima paused for a minute before gritting her teeth and muttering something about community service as she stood up and headed out to the office in her robe, knocking before stepping in. “Hey. Don’t get to yelling I’m not here to have a go at you.” She told max as she saw her immediately get her back up. “I just came to talk to you about last night. You and me have gotten off on the wrong foot. And I’m tired of men being the cause for fighting amongst all the girls round here.” She sighed. “Jon got knocked in the head pretty hard yesterday. He was bleeding and he didn’t wanna go get stitches so I was cleaning him up because you weren’t there…. I swear to you that is all that happened.” She told her

Eddie nodded and gave a small laugh "Yeahhhh probably a side effect of my younger years." He said as he watched her. Eddie was open enough about his past battles with addiction, but he didn't flaunt his sobriety around either like some people did.

Max frowned deeply as she saw Ima come in. She got on defense quickly as she spoke "And with everything you say about me and him, how else would you expect me to act?" She askwd before giving a heavy sigh "Look...thanks for helping him. Sorry for pushing you to the ground."

She frowned and shook her head. “Do you know how much shit he used to talk about you before you came back?” She asked her. “Genuinely he went from being pissed off sven thinking about you to lovesick puppy in the space of a week.”

She didn’t pry. She had enough of her own shit she was dealing with that she wasn’t ready to talk about. The rest of the shift went by as normal and eventually she was sat waiting in the office for him to be done so they could head out, checking her phone over a few times, almost flinching every time a new text came through

Max frowned deeply and gave a heavy sigh "Well it looks like he'll be back to talk to shit." She said quietly before glancing at her phone "Anyways, I'm sorry again for last night." She said in a genuine way this time "By the way your last shoot is blowing up on the website, looks like you're still gonna be number one for the month."

Eddie came in once he finished up his shift giving her a big smile "Let me use the restroom real quick and then we can head out." He said sweetly before disappearing into the restroom they had in the office. He came out a few minutes later and extended his hand to her to help her up from the chair "M'lady."

She smiled a little and thanked him, heading out, getting in her car to follow him to his place so she could drop her car off and pick it up on the way home. She eventually made it to the cinema with him, surprising herself with how relaxed she was managing to be with him.

She smiled a little and nodded. “Im hoping it stays that way. I’ll see you later.” She told her and headed back to finish getting ready.

Eddie smiled as they got out of the movie later that evening "You wanna grab something to eat? My treat." He giving her a hopeful smile but it soon fell when he saw the apprehension in her face "Or we could just head back to mine." He said softly not wanting to make her uncomfortable.

Max gave a small wave goodbye before sighing heavily as she got on with work. She kept glancing at her phone every so often hoping to see something from Jon, but nothing ever came.

She shook her head as she looked back up at him, "No no I'm just thinking is all." She smiled, "I'd like to go back to yours if that's good with you... Not to collect my car though." She told him. Over the past few weeks there had been a growing tension between the two of them and as stressed as she was with things outside of her control, she didn't want it to stop her from pursuing this with Eddie. More than anything she felt safe with him.

Jon wasn't going to give her the satisfaction and as far as he was concerned she had left him last night. It's what he'd been expecting though. It's what had happened before. They'd had an argument over the club and he went home the following morning to find all of her stuff plus her just gone. His number blocked from calling her.

Eddie looked at her a bit confused but then went a little wide eyed as it clicked "Oooh well alright then. You'll hear no objections from me." He said smiling wider at her as he led her to his car. He chatted happily with her about the movie on the ride back and by the time they got to his place he became a bundle of nerves. He really liked Carmen and he didn't want to fuck this up.

Max frowned deeply as she made her way homr later that afternoon once her shift was done. The relationship she had with Jon had been a cliche one at first. Highschool sweethearts with the thought of spending forever together. He'd always been around the club due to his father, she knew it would be his life, but she hadn't expected it to come with so much violence. She was just a kid when she left, didn't know how to properly handle the reality of his life. When she came back she was more than willing to except it, she wanted him back in her life. Though, after what she thought would prove that she was there to stay, all she wanted was for him to let her be his old lady.

She smiled and sat back, watching him. Jess had been right. Eddie was a sensitive soul and clearly nervous around people but she found it endearing. By the time they got back to his place and he let them both in she closed his door behind her, taking his hand and slowly pushed him til he was backed up into a wall, kissing him a little desperately.

Jon had finally managed to leave the club house to go home after promising a couple of the girls he would be sensible and go straight home and not go out for a drive still a little concussed, making it into his apartment, expecting max to not be there

Eddie smiled widely as she pushed him against the wall and quickly reciprocated the kiss. He pulled her in close to him staying as gentle as he could, he wasn't stupid, he knew she had some kind of male baggage and he didn't want to hurt her.

Max sat at her place sitting quietly before looking at her phone again. She took a deep breath trying to keep herself from calling him knowing she needed to stand her ground.

By the end of the night she was laying next to him and smiling a little as they both caught their breath, watching him get up and grab a towel to help her clean up before she got up to put her clothes back on. “I should go home Ed. I don’t …. I don’t like showering at other peoples houses and all my clothes are there…. But I’ll see you tomorrow?” She smiled at him again. “Maybe we can grab that dinner after shift?” She suggested, turning to face him and smiled.

Jess was stood outside her place, knocking on the door and frowning a little until she opened it. “Hey sweetheart, don’t panic I’m not here to yell at ya. I thought I’d bring you over some of your things you left at the club house. I didn’t want you to have to go up there to get em if you didn’t want to go.” She smiled at her. She hadn’t been at the party but she cared for all the girls and at least to her max was no exception

Eddie helped clean her up afterwards and gave a small pout "Oh alright, you'll just have to get my amazing cuddles next time we hang out." He said giving her a cheeky smile before handing her her shirt "I'll see you tomorrow beautiful. And dinner sounds great." He told her before throwing his shirt on and walking her to the door.

Max went to the door when she heard the bell go. She gave Jess a small smile as she opened up "Thank you Jess, you wanna come in for a minute?" She asked thankful that she excepted it. She needed to bounce this off of someone and see what she should do.

Carmen smiled and nodded. “I had a great time tonight Ed. I just… like my own bed.” She told him, waving as she got in her car and drove home, feeling like she was on cloud nine.

She nodded and smiled, heading in to sit with her, watching her some “You know he loves you. He’s an idiot but he loves you. He did take a real nasty blow to the head though. He was swaying around the club house today. Didn’t let him go til he could walk in a straight line.”

Eddie smiled happily at her and gave a small nod "Its all good, I'll see you tomorrow." He said sweetly before taking himself back inside to take a shower. He got a small thought when he started to undress and snapped a quick racy photo sending Carmen's way with a text reading 'I had a great time tonight, sleep tight beautiful ;) '

Max gave a heavy sigh handing her a glass of water "And I love him as well. Ima spoke with me about the incident and we've worked things out. But is it wrong for me to want him to atleast act like I'm his infront of everyone?" She said softly

Jess smiled a little and shook her head. “It’s taken a long time for Drew to be put in his place about it.” She smiked. “You should go to him. Give him an ultimatum. Not apologising. Warning.” She told her.

Charlie was at the bar the following morning, frowning when there was no one else there and no message on the answer machine, shaking his head until Eddie finallly arrived an hour later. “That new girl hasn’t shown up. No phone call or anything.” He muttered.

Max gave her a small nod and sighed heavily "I didn't want it to come to that, but you're right. Thank you Jess." She said happily "I saw a new girl at the bar, looked like Eddie was in love." She said with a small laugh.

Eddie frowned when he heard Charlie giving a small nod "I haven't heard from her either..." he muttered starting to feel like this was all his fault. He was scared the photo he had sent to her had pushed things too far.

She smiled and nodded “Oh he has been pining. They went out last night though. Was gonna pop into the bar to find out how it went.” She smiled, “listen. Talk to Jon. You won’t get him to come to you first and I don’t wanna see you go because both of you are too stubborn.” She told her as she stood to leave.

Charlie shook his head and sighed. “That’s a shame. She seemed real promising too.” He muttered, going to find her address and pulled it out of her file. “You wanna go stop off at hee place. Just check that she’s alright?” He asked. “It’ll be quiet today soican spare you for a while.”

Max gave a small nod and let her out before she got ready herself. She made her way to Jon's house and knocked on the door hoping he would open up and talk to her.

Eddie gave a small nod and took the address "Yeah I can do that. I hope everything is alright." He muttered before heading out and over to Carmen's place. He was thankful to see her car in the driveway and made his way up to the door knocking loudly.

Luke was muttering g under his breath as he walked over to the front door and opened it, pausing when he saw the same guy from carmens phone from the previous night. He looked him up and down for a moment before answering. “She’s not coming in today. In fact she doesn’t need to come back again.” He muttered, not noticing how his ex girlfriend had moved to make herself very visible to the guy at the door. He had been tracking her for months and finally found her again, waiting til she got home last night.

Jon groaned a little and opened the door, just sighing and turned around, leaving it open for hee to come in. “What do you want?” He muttered.

Eddie frowned deeply when he saw another man answer the door "Hi, I was here to check on Carmen. She didn't make it into work." He said frowning more when he saw Carmen's disheveled state come into view. He gave the guy a small nod "Right....well tell her that her last paycheck will be ready soon, I'll have Jess drop it off." He explained before heading off and immediately pulled out his phone to make a call.

Max followed him inside giving a heavy sigh "I wanted to talk with you." She said as she sat in his living room "I want to talk further about last night."

Carmen frowned more seeing Eddie just walk off. She didn’t expect him to fix this for her but now she was worried that he thought she had lied to him.

He nodded and frowned. “Good. Cause what you did was out of line.” He muttered, grabbing a beer out the fridge and sat down, frowning as his phone rang and he raised his hand to cut her off once he saw it was eddies number. “Hey, everything alright?” He asked seeing as he never called unless it was an energency.

Eddie gave a heavy sigh unlocking his car "Hey man sorry to bother but I need a favor. Carmen, she didn't come in today. Went to check on her at her place some guy answered saying she wouldn't be working at the bar anymore. I saw her behind him man, he didn't know it, but she was scared and looked like he put hands on her. It looked like he hand some gang tats, but I'm.not a hundred percent. You think you could help me shake him?" He rambled hoping Jon or the club would help.

Max frowned deeply at his comments and shook her head some. She let him take the call and sighed heavily trying to keep her temper down.

He frowned some and shook his head. “Listen I’m a little busy right now but call Alex and let him know I have the go ahead.” He muttered. All he knew about the girl was Eddie wouldn’t shut up about her so he was willing to send a couple of the guys over to help. He hung up and turned to max again. “Right. Sorry.” He muttered.

Carmen was sat on the couch a little later on, tense and scared after Luke had gone in on her again for ‘cheating’ on him and she could only hope Eddie had actually seen the state of her and was going to help.

Max gave a small nod and sighed heavily "I meant what I said last night. I settled shit with Ima, I know what happened, but I still meant everything Jon." She told him seriously while she watched how he would react.

Eddie gave Alex a call and explained the situation before he grabbed the gun from his car. He took a deep breath and went back to the door storing his piece behind him. He sighed heavily seeing the other guy open "Listen man I need to talk with Carmen, I know she is in there her damn car is in the driveway."
