Honestly, from what I've read of Yu Ri, it seems she's going to have a frustrating time. Adonis is basically all energetic positive, loving and delusional (albeit it was the result of manipulation—) justice. He'd most definitely think highly of Yu Ri for her professional and serious attitude and Azusa for her positivity and enthusiasm for wrecking villains. Honestly, he's just a love-all, love-everything kind of person. He thinks highly and positively of basically everyone and everything. Love-Love.

Yeah, they're not going to get along kekek. Yu-Ri'd think he's even more bonkers than the girl whose middle name is 'Collateral Damage'. I'd say that it'd make sense if they were put on suppression missions pretty often though, considering the synergy of their abilities. She hits em with the magical lobotomy, and then Adonis hits them with the magical aphrodisiac. 100% success rate of ending fights peacefully huhuhu.

And I suppose she thinks the lad's a complete nutjob, but prefers working with him over the more violently-crazy Dark Site magicals.

Repairer is on neither side, he basically sees the whole thing as one huge 'experiment'. Pretty much only helping the rogues because he can't make observations if they get instantly busted

So she absolutely can say no, unless she decides the boogeyman is somebody she should be taking orders from

Tsk tsk. If he truly saw it as an experiment, he wouldn't ruin the purity of the experiment by helping one side survive longer. It's like being a biologist interested in seeing the hunting patterns of a predator, but then shooting the beast with a tranq if it actually looks like they'll get a successful hunt.

It’s the big post I will be posting on this Monday, which will bring all the waiting players into the story. I have Noa write some of GG’s actions and dialogues cuz I feel like she does and says a lot more than I can control.

If I feel the same for any of your characters then I will add you to the PM, but for now be assured that I’ve not controlled your characters more than necessary.

The post will be made public anyhow, so why not just toss me and Faye in there now, so we can keep up-to-date and be able to chime in if we feel like our characters would've done something? Ask a question or whatnot.

Hey guys! I have a few things to announce and address.

Firstly, I’ve said that I would accept CS submitted until Sunday (which is today) before moving forward and bring all of you second batch players into the story. However, without specified time zone it might be a bit confusing and difficult for someone who might still want to join this. Therefore, in case you have planned to submit a CS in the last minute, I will extend the deadline to 24 hours from this post. Anyone who failed to submit a CS before that will not be considered a part of second batch and while you may have a chance at the third batch or sth similar depending on Heartstorm78 I will say that it’s pretty hard to introduce a large number of characters without ruining our current pace and established setting and we may or may not do it again.

Secondly, I’ve been working on that long post that would introduce the second batch characters into the story without making them feel out of place. Considering that I might post it immediately after we hit the deadline, or at the very least within a few hours after that, there's a favor I want to ask those who already have characters in the first batch. I know the current situation is on fire, but I would like our characters to have some sort of a break where the Rogues successfully escaping from Dark Site and settling on some new house or resting place. (Meanwhile the Dark Site can do sth like mission review and/or character interaction.) I will need this short break in order for the big post to happen and once I'm done with it feel free to make everything burns again while two certain girls are duking it out for the strongest title.

I know I can write that up by myself or with our GM's help, but Heartstorm78 hadn't been online for a few days (they possibly has like 5 unread questions from me rn xD) and giving you one or two directions and then let you fill all the details by yourselves sounds a lot better than just godmodding your characters into the way I want. Long story short, I will need the current three Rogues to successfully escape (best narrated by Nellancholy and Gundam Watcher 27 , but the rest of you can add anything you see fit.) and find a new house. (so that we can be immediately be tracked down again once I'm done with the second batch post.)

And finally, a little head up to all the waiting second batch players who have joined the Rogue faction and are eager to write sth up (though there will be a lot of details found in that convoluted post I'm working on so I highly recommend you to wait just one more day and maybe a few hours to read it first.) Your characters will be chased down and successfully captured by another Dark Site squad. So it doesn't matter where they were and what they were doing before. Once the post has been made, your characters will start together in that single room, restrained by something that prevent them from using all their powers. Also there will be an explosive teddy bear hugging each of their neck so that your Artificial Partners who freely fly around that room won't dare to make a move. With this setting, there will be an instance where all the Dark Site magical girls left that room and you are free to talk/interact with each other in that brief period. Shortly after that, there will be a chance for them where all the restraints and bombs are disabled. After your characters take that opportunity and escape the house, you are free to make IC posts.

Yeah, I need to update Blue’s character sheet to clear up their motivation — they’re working clear on the side of Dark Site for now, but don’t have much loyalty — not that they’ll be inclined to sway. This mostly just means they’re divorced from a lot of the goings-on at the facility, giving them independence to screw around to their best judgement. It doesn’t make them free, just flexible.
As for decompression/character interaction, I think it’d be fun for Blue to continue to play the jester and chat with any of the first group coming out of the mission — Rose or Gutter Queen I both have ideas for, and I’m pretty sure there’s some space to play with in Heartbeat and Dynamite if that’s who’s up for it.

I don’t think we’d primarily planned to have Leigh capture Nate directly, but that’s viable if it’s the best way to handle it, I think. Other options include Kikimura ’s Negev escaping and then falling under the eye of the second team directly or somehow getting dragged into the conflict by circumstance.

There are two plots going on right now:
— The Forest fight, between Rose’s capture team and Vanguard’s renegade squad,
— and the second batch introduction, where Girlish Grizzly, Adonis, and Swallowtail are recapturing a group of Magicals they just recovered. This group includes your character, mentioned by name as “Cinderella” in ERode ’s post — presumably, wherein the whole second group of rogues escaped together. It could be a good idea for you to talk out the scenario with the other players with characters in batch two so you can coordinate how the whole thing will go. The second batch also received power-nulling bracelets — if a Dark Site agent manages to slap it onto a target, they lose access to all their magic and superhuman abilities.

There’s a couple subplots going on also, including:
- Wingy’s (batch 1) sponsor is a high-ranking Dark Site executive — he’s doing things in the background.
- The Repairer (batch 1) has a very messy agenda; Executives and Mr. Zero don’t consider him fully reliable, as evidenced by his conversation with Blue Diamonds.
- Negev (batch 2) isn’t adjusted to her normal life yet; it doesn’t help that Blue Diamonds is currently trying to catch her.
