Sally May (#000271)

Location: Cell/lab -> cafeteria -> to same cell block as Kasai
Interaction/mention: Juju Juju Cosmos Cosmos

Sally's small form sat curled up within a ball as she sat on a stiff bed. The thin light of the hallway illuminated the floor next to her, not only indicating it was a start to another day, but exaggerating her prison. It had been a full two days since she was locked within this dark hole. That bitter-sweet day, the day she met some of her first friends, and the day those wicked guards threw her into this holding cell, and worse, stole Princess away. For the first day and a half, Sally spent it within the eyes of Princess, watching as the scientists examined it, prodded it, evaluated it. Only to then move it back into a small cage to be moved further away into another room. It confused Sally, but it was her only source of being close to Princess. Aside from their usual exploration tests, they seemed to be trying to determine the implications of distance between the two. This repetitive methodology continued until suddenly during one of their experiments, the connection was lost, leaving Sally within the dark room.

589427

It was three whole hours since Sally lost contact with Princess. Her eyes were red from tears that streamed down her face; she had never felt so alone before. She looked down at another day of untouched food; this plate even containing pees, Princess's favorite treat. A soft whimper erupted from her throat as she rocked softly, trying to comfort herself. She felt everything they put Princess through, the needle that stuck into it's fur, drawing out some of the fluids that made up Princess. Even the scientists were unable to confirm all the elements found within the feline. She felt the fear of Princess... or perhaps it was her own. They were so closely bound, it was sometimes hard to differentiate if they were the same being, occupying different bodies, or two bodies sharing the same mentality. She gripped her knees, frustrated by the lack of information and distance from Princess. Her nails began to dig into the flesh of her leg as anxiety filled her thoughts. It was her birthday today, or at least she thought it was. This was no surprise, it was only going to be another day within this black room. She whimpered once more as her breathing grew heavy. Suddenly her pale eyes narrowed sharply and glanced up at the one repetitively beeping red light belonging to a camera watching over her.

Not long after, the door of Sally's prison slowly opened, allowing light to finally flood into the room. Instead of a bare room, to the two guards surprise, a wave of heat and steam welcomed them as they stepped into a foggy room. The steam was hot, similar to a sauna but with less visibility.

"What is this kid up to this time?", one of the guards mockingly questioned to the other as they aimlessly walked into the room, searching for Sally. "#000271, locate yourself immediately. This is a final order." They harshly called out.

As if in an answer, of a sort, one of the guards yelled in pain as Sally kicked him in the shin, harder than one could imagine for a little girl. He immediately grasped down, trying to grab the source only to find his own feet suddenly frozen to the ground. A contradicting feeling within the hot sauna room. "Give me Princess back!" Sally's voice demanded within the fog, as if part of it.

"Call the others!" The irritated guard yelled to the other who, in his haste to run towards the door, slipped on a thin layer of ice that covered the ground, knocking him out as he hit the ground. Sally wasn't sure if this sporadic plan would work, but she had waited long enough. As the fleeing guard hit the ground, Sally was already running towards the door, looking as if she was jumping out of a cloud as she exited. To both of their surprise and to Sally's horror, another guard was positioned outside the room, one who was much faster and could see. Sally found herself grabbed by her waist and lifted up as she tried to run. "NOOO! Let me go you big fat meanie! Give me Princess!!" She yelled as she was faced to the third guard who held an angry expression plastered on his face. She tried to push him away, but he held tight as she squirmed. Nothing was going to stop her from getting to Princess. Frustrated tears washed her cheeks as she struggled with all her might, hitting him with her weak arms. In her rash anger, her eyes were closed hoping that in her fierce little rage she could somehow get loose. Suddenly, the man's grip loosened as the guard's face showed a pained twisted expression. Sally realized one of her hands were planted on his chest. She quickly retracted as she was released and the man fell limp onto the ground. Sally hesitated for a moment, unsure what had happened to the man. Not a moment later, she heard more yelling from down the hall, alerting her to new arrivals. She quickly darted down the opposite direction, continuing her search for Princess. Her bare-feet tapped on the cold flooring as she sprinted, hoping to outrun the others long enough to find her lost companion. One of the scientists, who was studying her, did not follow in pursuit like the rest, instead she looked down at the guard laying on the ground. New ideas come to her wicked mind. New opportunities. New discoveries. The man was shortly revived luckily, due to the doctors close by.
___

Sally almost slipped as she turned a sharp corner, trying to find some familiarity in her surroundings as she continued to yell for Princess. Her voice echoed throughout the hall. Like the gates of heaven, Sally spotted the cafeteria doors and quickly bolted through. The doors forcefully flew open, Sally standing in the doorway, her hair messy and eyes darting around like a wild animal let out of it's cage. She quickly spotted Ana, who sat alone. In that spark of hope she ran up to her, breathing exhausted before words could be comprehensible. "Princess?! - Have you seen Princess?" She pleaded Ana for information. Of course, Sally was never formally introduced to Ana, but she seemed nice when she noticed her two days ago, and seemed to be in the loop of information. As for Ana, this sudden, rash questioning may come as quite the peaceful-breakfast crasher. While repeating her questions, more in desperation, Sally quickly slipped underneath the table as the guards within the cafeteria joined the pursuit. She was a quick little one, but no one can escape long. Something Sally was quickly coming to understand. Three guards came crashing down on her as she exited the table and soon after, a soft pinch of a needle containing sedatives followed, rapidly sending Sally into a slumber. Her petite form was held over the shoulder of one of the guards as they escorted her back out of the cafeteria toward the same cell block as Kasai was located. "It would seem, a scare tactic is in order." One of the scientists informed the guard as they parted. "It worked for you, didn't it, Dove?" He stated as he looked to Ana who was sitting alone, only to once again observe the guards drag another away from the cafeteria. He offered her a toothy grin.

Vleers worried rambling made it end up in Somewhere in the facilities vast ventilation system... it could only think of one place to go after all that the place they keep the biggest monsters, F block, sliding through the system directly to there. It of course tripped the sensor installed, prompting a automated announcement to go off

"all staff please be aware that subject 00195-V.L.E.E.R in currently lose in F block all staff are asked to avoid 00195, and remember any deaths caused by avoiding this advice will be classified as suicide"

vleer dropped out into a storage room.. the same place it was found all those years ago, the sad expression of its face got even worse, as it stared into the corner of the room, the place where its box used to be, gone... although the lab coat still remained there, something the staff never bother cleaning up, the research assistant that vleer ate, did it care about that? no not at all, but hurting people that was what was wrong.... it didn't do it, it was the other thing. that little bit of itself that... stopped being vleer.

this introspective reflection didn't do good for vleer its childish comprension, as such it left the room JUST as a detail of guards showed up all of them thoroughly confused. vleer itself still upset and confused and it just wanted to go somewhere, somewhere that it could just be left...alone by all these guards, disappearing into one of the F block cells, said cell happened to be the cell of kasai vleer dropping into the through a ventilation ducted behind the pyro, by behind her i mean vleer basically fell onto her back sliding down her back before pooling behind kasai, why did vleer show up here? well no one would come in here right?

(sorry if this is shitty)

OLIVE LEWIS

━━━━━━❦━━━━━━

Olive cocked her head, a frown curling at the edges of her mouth. "That makes no sense." The blindfold, to her, seemed like a handicap, not a precaution. The girl took a step forward, her hand nearing the other's face, but hesitated and backed up. She had a feeling removing the blindfold would get Rose in trouble. "Yeah... better be safe."

What's that supposed to mean? The tall shadow that lurked behind Olive’s head crept closer as he spoke, his nonexistent face unable to present any emotion, yet still seeming smug.

Nothing... Even in her own mind, Olive's words weren't convincing. It's just... what if they're wrong? Things keep getting worse. First with Kasai and Blaise, and Sally May being dragged away. Then Boris… She gulped, unable to finish her own thought, her body filled with hollow sorrow, rather than the heaviness that lingered earlier. They keep promising us things would get better but then they treat us like balloons, constantly pumping us with air and then hoping we won’t pop.

Do you question their methods?

I don't know what I question. But nothing is good right now. Testing hurts. My head hurts. I feel like everyone around me is changing into a different person, with the exception of Boris, but he’s gone. Even Ana. I don't want to believe it, but I still can't deny it. I can't deny myself. I don't like my thoughts anymore. I don't like liking the pain the Men in White tell me to make.

So, what I’m hearing is, I’m right?

Olive didn’t answer, her frown deepening. Admitting that was a dangerous game, one she learned not to play when she was younger. Despite the illusion having no face, it felt as though it grinned at her. You trust me, right? I would never do anything to hurt you.

Okay.

***

It took a while for Olive to notice she zoned out, staring at Rose. “Oh!” She exclaimed, her face turning slightly red, “I’m sorry! Here, uh, let me help you.” Olive grabbed Rose's sleeve and slowly led her to the cafeteria, which was finally decontaminated. Every now and then, she gave the other warnings to watch her step or slow down.

“Can I ask you something?” She glanced over to Rose as she pushed open the heavy double doors. “Does anyone ever stop you when you’re wandering around the halls?” Olive led the other to a table.

Rose appreciated the girl's help, heeding any warnings she might have been told and keeping herself out of harm's way, smiling as she was guided along the halls by Olive - though unable to see, the girl kept her safe. She then heard the question she was asked and thought about it. "Not really, no. I'm honestly a little surprised why they don't stop me... Considering what could possible happen if it goes worse. I just need to keep this thing on at all times so it doesn't suddenly go as they fear it to go, and it's all good from there." She said, sighing. She feels a bit dumb with that thing on, as foretold by her groaning tone. Distaste, potential hatred, similar feelings like it. It's a hard feeling to convey, but Olive could probably notice it.

Ana was somewhat enjoying her pig-feed of a breakfast when she heard rushed footsteps. A look of mild interest passed over her otherwise dull expression when Sally asked her about Princess. The panic was seeping from every word the poor girl spoke and even Ana couldn't help but feel some sympathy. Hmm, must have taken her cat into testing... she thought. After all, the scientists were probably just as curious as she was about the creature.

"Whoa! Slow down, Sally! It's okay," Ana said, raising up her hands slightly, "I'm sure Princess is around here somewhere. I can help you look..." She really didn't feel like looking for a cat, but she had nothing better to do until her friends got here.

She placed down her spoon and was about to get up when she saw three guards burst into the cafeteria and look around. Ana sat back down. Well, that changed things. Looks like Sally got out of her cell too early. The decision to try hiding under the table was both admirable and stupid at the same time. Ana gave a soft sigh and watched as she tried to make a run for it, only to be stopped by the guards and sedated. Hopefully, she'd learn how things worked here before they did something that would make her stop. Her thoughts went to her crippled twin and she could feel the anger bubbling up.

"Oh yes, I-I've been taught so many terrifying lessons over the years..." Ana stuttered, her eyebrows raised in such a convincing air of worry. She fidgeted under the gaze of the guard as if intimidated. Really, she was memorizing his face, voice, and the number ID printed on his guard-suit. He had a wide smile and far too many teeth.

She placed a hand delicately over her heart. "I only hope that someday I never have to use what I learned." she ended with a sweet smile and a pleasant tone, like honey over razor blades. It did nothing for the eerie light in her eyes, though. After a moment or two she then nonchalantly went back to eating her cereal, as if losing interest in the guard and nothing had ever happened.

Scare tactics.

Waclaw Nowak #00024
Location: Cafeteria.

"Wake up, Frosty, wake up and smell the sulfur in the air."

Nowak's eyelids slowly began to open indicated by his snow white eyes lighting up, he saw he was in pitch blackness and the voice didn't lie, there was definitely sulfur in the air but that begged the question where was he?

"Ah, good. Welcome back to the land of the living, Frosty and while you napped away, you name became more apt for you."

Nowak was puzzled at the voice's comment until he touched his hands and felt no fabric, no metal, he felt nothing, this revelation... ENRAGED Nowak, these scientists and their experimentation made him like this, the last thing he remembers was passing out in front of his shared room.

"Now, now, we know what you are thinking, it wasn't us who made you like this, it was the radiation, your condition progressed further and faster than we could hope but enough about you, in 25 seconds after we end this conversation, a group of men armed with depleted uranium rounds will enter the room and if they find you, they'll pelt you with them, don't worry the rounds won't kill you but you'll feel a pain greater than any man has known unless of course, you hide... Good luck, Subject Frosty... or is it Frost now?"

The lights snapped on and Nowak found himself in large room, office-like in design: desks, cubicles, chairs and the like, he noted. Nowak then looked at himself, his ice body, no longer flesh but Ice, he didn't know how to feel about this change but this wasn't the time for Nowak had to hide, he began running, passing several cubicles and the like, he saw the door and figured that's where they will pour out of so he had to hide far away as he expected them to do a swipe of the areas closest to the door. In his head he began counting.

3...2...1...

And the doors flung open, armed guards with the rifles poured in, they made a formation and began moving towards the other end of the room where Nowak. Nowak from behind a cubicle, kept watch of their patterns and noticed a very hidden opening in their line, he decided he was gonna exploit it when their position nears his. Nowak take notice that he was no longer leaking his signature cryogenic gas, he wondered if he could still freeze things but that is gonna be out of the question anyway, at the very least it didn't hinder his stealth. The guards reached the spot where Nowak was utilized but then it dawned on him that it could be a trap so instead he rearranged how he would face this problem.

Two guards were about to enter the cubicle he was hidden and when they did, Nowak rushed at them, he grabbed one of the guards by locking his head with his arm and the other by snatching his neck, he tightened his grip on both of their necks, they struggled and wriggled like worms but they could not escape Nowak's icy grip, they lost consciousness. Nowak was amazed at this new strength, he carefully put the guards down, their bodies obscured by a desk in the cubicle.

Nowak knew that the other patrol would then converge on the location of the missing guards so he crouched and began swiftly moving, ducking in and out of cubicles, Nowak hated this "experiment" there were no shadows to hide in at all but he had to make do. He encountered another set of guards, three this time, he knew he could not handle three of them without alerting others but luck was kind to him this day, he found a dark hiding spot and slipped in but his movement was not unnoticed and his glowing eyes and peculiar symbols would alert them to his location. He thought this was hopeless but he had to try. He focused his mind and the snow-white lights on his body flickered and then blinked out, he knew he couldn't "turn" off his eyes so he closed them, thinking that would shut the lights off.

"Where is he?" "Sneaky little bugger, he took two of our guys." "Can the chatter." And their footsteps kept going.

Nowak let out a wheeze of relief... Well, that was still there, he thought.

He emerged out of the shadows and sprinted to the door, stepping out and completing the experiment. The guards were equipped with a new brand of thermal sensors but it appeared that scientists miscalculated the sensors as Nowak, despite being frigid cold could not be entirely detected, only his residual effect on the air around him.

As Nowak stepped out of the room and appeared in the hallway, the doors shut behind him, he collapsed and the anger built that he snuffed out during the experiment bubbled back up, he lifted his fist in the air then he crashed it down to the ground, his ice knuckle created sheet of snow and ice where his fist land.

"Kill... them" Were Nowak's only words but they held purpose. He rose from the ground and left the hallway that lead to the testing room. He then found himself in the cafeteria? How interesting, he thought.

.............
Sleep graced Blaise for the space of an hour after the events that transpired in that testing facility. After that time of temporary peace, the Pyro was to awake for the second that day, in a pure haze of confusion and lack of recollection. For a moment he only thought his memories of bloodshed and disturbing violence to be nothing more than another Nightmare long past in the void of sleep. But the more he pondered over it, the more the haze was cleared and finally he did realize his actions.

An overwhelming sickness came to his stomach, causing him to lurch from his bed where he had been laid to rest. Crawling rather violently to the bathroom, he made it just in time to prevent what was coming up to fall upon the floor. What was left of what he’d eaten the previous day came up. Unfortunately, after the contents of his stomach were emptied, he would continue to wretch and dry heave over the basin of the toilet. Tears streamed down his face, both from emotional instability and the pain of his abdomen compressing to his spine.

Eventually, the sickness subsided with coughing and sputtering, and Blaise was able to gather his strength enough to bring himself to stand up. He felt weak, lightheaded, and scared.... oh so fucking scared. Turning and leaning on the counter, he lifted his head to look in the mirror as if expecting to see someone different. Yet it was still him, the same scared boy with the fearful look in his eye akin to that of a child’s. Something else glinted that he only saw for a moment, or atleast he thought he saw that. But he brushes it off with the thought that he was going crazy.

Upon analyzing himself further, he found that the modifications to his neck had changed drastically. No longer was it just present at the side of his neck, but now extended to the edge of his throat with the new additions taking on a shade of bronze to contrast the silver. He ran his fingers across the warm metal, knowing somewhere in there was the device that had direct access to... what did Dr. White call it? The Amygdala? Whatever it was, it was the epicenter of such violent emotions such as rage, and now they seemed to have what they always dreamed of. Almost total control over the monster they’d spent years crafting. Now he was their puppet to toy with and use as they so wished. The Demon in him had been unleashed.

Blaise’s thoughts were instantly interrupted by a loud growl echoing from his gut. In the process of spilling what was still digesting, he now was subject to immense hunger. He couldn’t sulk forever, and knew that he may as well try to ignore it and move on with his day. So long as he wasn’t a threat to his friends, he had no reason to stay away from them.

After changing out of his slightly charred pajamas and putting on a pair of grey basketball shorts, a black t-shirt, and some socks and shoes, he scooped up his board and marker and headed out the door as Borris’ snores faded behind him.

He headed straight for the cafeteria, and once there, he instantly headed for the food line and piled his plate high with as much food as he could. Everyone had their own interactions going on that he didn’t really pay much attention to, and wasn’t even quite sure if Sally, Ana, or Olive were there. He just wanted to eat, and eat he did. It seemed he had nasty habit of always being starved of food and ravenous for nourishment. So like the wild animal he was, he feasted.

Jeane looked rather surprised at the guard's answer and adjusted her glasses. "Oh, yes. Thank you!" she said in a matter-of-fact tone all the other scientists liked to use.

She straightened up her back and walked past the guard with an air of superiority, trying to mimic what Dr. White usually looked like on a day-to-day basis. That scowl was hard to match though. Attempting that was no for the faint of heart, and besides, it was bad for wrinkles. It reminded her of the time she gave him face cream for the staff Christmas gathering one year. Had he taken it well or bad? She couldn't even remember now.

Huh?

Jeane realized with a start that she was still standing beside the guard, off in one of her day-dreams. Well, all attempts at looking serious had gone out the window. She gave a soft 'ahem' then entered the room.

Inside she could see Alieel laid out on her bed, looking horrendously lethargic. Worry passed over Jeane's face as she slowly walked up to the girl "Hey Alieel~!" she said. "You're not feeling too well, are you? Oh, you poor, sweet thing! I... oh..."

Unable to hold it in anymore, Jeane rushed over to the girl and enveloped her in a hug. "Alieel, please get better! I can't stand seeing you like this!"

Boris rolled his eyes at the scientist in front of him as he was strapped to the ol' electric chair. Linked with prison executions and accidental deaths from bros just wanting to rest their feet. Well he thinks, he never really paid attention to those shows, they bored him, but he knew the latter was true, his logic taught him that at least, the chair looked a whole lot comfier than it actually was. It felt like sitting on a rock, while it looked more like a hard board at first.

To be honest, after the first few shocks it feels like a bed and all is good, but this little shit always goes on and on about shit Boris couldn't give two fucks about and he has to sit uncomfortably for like 5 minutes. Like jeez, dude, don't be such an ass, this hurts your ass when you sit on it. Of course, the long lecture was now over after Boris successfully managed to block it all, not knowing really what they were doing now.

Yawning he watched the scientists make their way over to the control panel. It was too early for this like even Blaise was asleep, this can't be an ok time to wake a person up. Like how could you do that to a person, do they have any- Boris flinched heavily as electricity flowed into his body. he heaved lightly, this was a whole lot more than they normally do. It didn't really hurt, just felt like something was crawling up his skin and leaving behind a trail that felt sore.

Well, this test wasn't really just sore, it was more like 'ahhhhhh you forgot your knife in my foot' kind of sore. He could literally see the electricity flowing off of him at a feeble attempt for his body to control a large amount of energy running through his body. They never do this much at once because they know he can't control it well, it will burst suddenly if they weren't careful. Boris could feel it building up as he gritted his teeth before suddenly the current was stopped.

Boris breathed heavily and glared at the scientist, "Hey b-b-buddy, don't you k-k-k-k-know no-not to d-d-do that to a g-girl b-before they are prepared." he spoke shakily, sparing a glance at the voltmeter on the wall that read he was at dangerous levels of electricity, only a few volts away from what he would normally burst at. "If you were listening you would know what we were doing you imbecile-" "Hey don't use words I don't understand, you're the imboncreaise... something-something, or whatever you said," "As I was saying, if you listened you would know that we are holding you at your max level of electricity and making sure you stay at the level for a long period of time. We are seeing if it will increase your ability to hold greater doses of electricity."

"Well buddy, this is kinda fucking uncomfortable, and this is a shit ton of electricity in my body, one release of it and all of you would probably be dead."
Boris smiled at them weakly, "And one push of this button and your sister will be dead." Boris paled, "We told you this many times now, that's why you have been such a good boy recently. Now shall we continue, your voice is utterly disgusting, you should try not using it. Maybe we will even remove the whole thing..." the scientist trailed off before another volt was sent through him, causing him to wince, he really was at his limit and it wasn't pleasant. But he didn't say anything, for once. He just sat there silently staring at the clock waiting for the feeling of being ready to burst finally being done.

---------PRESENT DAY----------
It had taken even hours after they were satisfied with his results for the electricity to dissolve and allow him to be unrestrained. He also had to be carried back to his room, his body being completely numb. Thankfully Blaise didn't stir with him entering, which saved a whole lot of explaining. Boris knew that Blaise wakes early, which was only hours away, so he needed to get to sleep and make the other boy think that he got back not the late in the night like he had said he would when he was first called away.

If Blaise knew, then Ana would soon know, and he didn't really want that right now. He managed to fall into a restless sleep, waking up and going back to sleep many times in the night. When he finally did decide he was done with tossing and turning he rubbed his eyes. His whole body felt numb and dead like there were no nerves. When he stood up his legs shook violently and it took him about 20 minutes to stand without the shaking being so bad.

His head felt heavy and groggy at his lack of sleep and it was honestly annoying. Laughing at that Boris made his way over to the breakfast area, slower than normal, but still not taking too to long to get there. As he entered the room his stomach dropped a little. None of the usual at the BOBA table were sitting together, all spread around the room. Did something happen? Did Ana fart again? They were quite raunchy when she did so it was understandable.

The only one of the group that was alone was Blaise, Ana talking to a guard, and Olive with someone else. Boris decided to keep his new friend company, and maybe convince him to migrate over to their usual table. He wasn't hungry so didn't bother with food, not to mention wanting to decrease the chances of Ana seeing the shake in his legs. He made his way over to Blaise and plopped down, "Hey buddy boy! How are we now?"

Miracle Bellgrave ( Subject#00204 )

((Sorry for not posting for so long, I've been having some issues....))

Miracle walked through the twisted hallways with four figures gripping onto her. After a few days of torture with her tests and heartless scientists, Miracle has finally proven weak and pathetic under the White Sound and the scientists are satisfied about their invention. For now..... Miracle thought to herself. Thanks to the scientists, she now has to travel with not three guards, but four guards, even though the scientists were certain that she couldn't escape. Surprisingly, Miracle was allowed to go to the Cafeteria on a daily basis once again.

Getting used to the tightness of her restraint, Miracle didn't bother trying to remove it and gave up on escaping for the time being. All she has done these past few days was just talking to her imaginary friends and having panic attacks on her holding cell, much to the guards and scientists' delight. Miracle still felt the pain burning in her lungs, and when she told the scientists, all they did was do more tests out of pure curiosity. Honestly, what was so interesting about her lung defect ? The tests were only making it worst. She has officially lost trust in any of the scientists and guards, and slightly in her parents.

Getting shoved into the Cafeteria like an animal into its cage, Miracle limped towards the area that served food. Miracle had sprained her ankles during her extra tests, so she was left to limp her way everywhere like an idiot. Getting her food from the counters, Miracle made her way to a table. She didn't feel comfortable talking or sitting beside the others after the few days of talking to herself like an insane person.

Sitting down, Miracle ate her tasteless food in silence. She wondered how was she going to survive the rest of her life here...

Alieel let out a soft gurgle as Jeane walked in, looking up she slowly blinked before the hug enveloped the girl before another move could be made, after a moment she slowly wrapped her tail around the scientist and gave a happier, slightly more energetic gurgling noise instead, "F-Fwend!" she let out in a small and weak voice.

Sitting up she licked the others face before sniffing the air curiously, still weak she crawled over to the door and touched it with a hand staring grumpily still evidently very weak but wanting out of the cell, however the scientists did want to continue to observe her so such was not an option.

Sally's eyes slowly opened as she shifted to sit up once more onto a cold hard floor. A soft form chirped loudly, widening her eyes as she sat up straight. "Princess!" She yelled with outstretched arms to greet the pouncing feline. A wide smile spread across her face as she snuggled into Princess, nuzzling her face into it's damp yet surprisingly solid fur. "Did they hurt you, Princess?" She grumbled as she sat cross-legged on the floor, Princess safety held between. The feline cooed once more, a deep purr erupting from its throat as Dr. Sally did a close examination. It would seem the experimentation was concluded for both parties, or at least she thought. She giggled childishly once again, even more appreciating the comfort of her companion, especially with her given circumstance. As Princess leapt off her to caress its body along her back, Sally finally glanced up to address her surroundings. This was no longer the darkened holding cell anymore... but although she was thankful to be rid of that room and once again reunited with her companion, something worse... colder lingered within these cells. The door was thicker with twice as many locks. Only a singular bared window allowed one access to view other cells within another confined room.

Sally stood up cautiously as her knees wobbled, still recovering from the sedatives. Her bare-feet gently pressed onto the floor, balancing her unsteady advance towards the window. She could hear noises coming from outside, maybe from other subjects like herself... except they didn't sound as friendly as the ones in the cafeteria. Some were yelling at others, wishing to start a verbal war maybe. Additional groans echoed from some of the cells, most likely recovering from a recent experimentation. Sally gulped deliberately before gripping the thick bars with her small hands in which she peered through, hoping to catch a glimpse of the noises' origins, or maybe someone... nicer. She jumped slightly when a bang erupted two cells down from her. No one seemed alarmed by this noise however, as they continued like nothing happened.

Suddenly, Sally caught the glimpse of something green (?) falling from the ceiling of another cell's vent to the ground. Was that Vleer? Sally gulped once more before her anxious voice whispered. "Vleer? is that you?". She wasn't actually sure if it was, and if so... whose cell it belonged to... but for both of their sake, she hopped it wasn't a monster. "Hey... can you hear me!" She dared to yell louder before she ducked back behind the door, evading the glance of a scientist passing by. After a minute wait, and with greater determination, Sally returned to her post and called out to the cell, wondering now out of curiosity what it contained. "It's me, Sally!". Princess jumped onto Sally's shoulders, lowering its head as it too peered out of the cell window, just as curious.

Nowak groaned as he placed his right hand on the back of his neck, he walked over to the cafeteria counter and looked at the staff... menacingly , one of them went into the backroom and came back with an interesting object, it wasn't the normal canister Nowak was used it was instead... a CUBE OF ICE!?! Nowak thought this was some kind of sick joke but managed to restrain himself from leaping over the counter and pummeling the staff.

"This a joke?"

His tone was aggressive and disrespectful, he was acting out of his normal calm.

"No... it's..." the woman who was speaking to him could barely contain her quakes and shivers. "The scientists ran... tests and... determined that you can absorb Ice... so.. they created this... ice cube, filled with nutrients and electrolytes."

Nowak's face made it look like he lifted up his eyebrow even though he could seldom make any expression. He grabbed the container that held the ice cube out of the lady's hands and walked off, he looked around and noticed Boris sitting with Blaise at the table. He sighed, he remarked in his head that he rarely interacted with these two if at all but better the devils you know. He went over to their table then sat down."Blaise, Boris." He greeted them coldly. He opened the glass container which held this ice cube, he placed it in his hand and watched as it slowly dissolved in his hand as if it was melting into him.

OLIVE LEWIS

“Not really, no. I’m honestly a little surprised why they don’t stop me...” Olive nodded silently, despite Rose not being able to see her small gesture. ‘Good to know,’ she thought, marking down her new acquaintance's words for later. “Considering what could possibly happen if things go worse. I just need to keep this thing on at all times so it doesn’t go as they fear it to go, and it’s all good from there.”

Sensing the distaste inside Rose. Olive smiled, glad the other viewed her handicap as an annoyance. Something inside Olive told her that even if her acquaintance learned to control her strange ability, the Men in White would still insist on having her wear that blindfold. But, it was hard for her to describe why exactly she was glad for the discomfort it gave Rose. Afraid of coming off as rude, she didn’t dare try to explain.

She led Rose towards the lunch line, “What do you usually eat?”

Just behind the girl, Olive spotted Ana. Her stomach twisted. She was eating alone — for a reason she assumed to be sadness — and the hollow feeling of sorrow returned inside Olive. “I’m sorry,” she mumbled, tapping Rose’s shoulder, “I’ll be right back, I just need to talk to someone real quick.”

She slowly approached Ana, as if she was a rabbit who would jump away if she got too close, with a worried smile spread across her face. Boris’ “death” may have hurt Olive, but she couldn’t even begin to imagine what it must have felt like for Ana. “Hey, Ana,” Olive said softly, crouching beside her seat, “Are you doing… okay?” It didn’t look like her friend had been crying, but, then again, she had never been expressive with her emotions. “I’m really sorry about what happened, but—”

“Hey, buddy boy! How are we now?”

She spun around and stared at Boris, her mouth slack. Olive, stunned, turned back to Ana and pointed a thumb at her brother. “He’s alive? He's... alive.” Her arms shook, unsure whether or not to be grateful or pissed. "Is this a joke?!” Her jaw tensed as her breathing grew quicker. Olive was waiting for someone to tell her she was imagining Boris sitting there.

She was waiting for someone to tell her she wasn't lied to.

// #000001 - Kasai //

Silent, cold…. those were the thoughts that came to mind when describing this place, to others talking to another experiment wasn't such a bad thing, but for Kasai- lets just say getting into a potentially dangerous situation with one of their key subjects wasn't so much worry as total anger at her ignorance. The insults didn't hurt any more, not that they ever really had, she'd been numb to the name calling and punches thrown for a long time but now something else lingered, it hurt, a feeling she couldn't describe, in fact maybe it wasn't hurt at all, but something entirely different, one she didn't know the words to yet, or might never know, "At least stuck in this rotten place I won't…." she muttered, knees up at her chest and heavily cuffed hands wrapped over.

Only the half guard daunted her face, still healing scars and bruises covering her body from punishment as she didn't feel like using the extortion to heal the outer injuries just yet, it took time and concentration, something she was using for other means at this time. The room she was in held no light and nothing in the room, instead a thick door an covered in anti thermal metal just in case her anger peaked to a point where things could get a tad uncomfortable to anyone who wasn't herself or Blaise that entered the room.

Oh yeah, Blaise- He probably hadn't forgiven her, right? She hurt him, she didn't want to but, she still did it, not for the scientists, not even for herself, there was something deep inside that made her angry for him sparing her like that, for him taking it easy on her with those sad eyes. A sudden loud yell escaping her mouth and echoing through the halls.

No, more so- she was angry for him leaving her, she knew he didn't choose to, she knew it was her fault for being what she was, for acting the way she did, but something in her wanted him to try and reach her, reach her long, long ago, before she became like this.

At a sudden plopping noise, looking around she stared with a blank expression at the pile of blue sludge. "What the- Ay' you creepy slime thing what are you doing here, ya dumb or something!?" she shouted with a scowl, slowly pulling herself to a stand with an awkward and slightly amused smirk.

“What do you usually eat?"

Rose thought about it and would shortly respond before Olive went to go and check on her friend over at a lone table in the cafeteria. "I don't know, really... It tastes like greens, at least, not sure what specifically... Ahem..." She said modestly, pointing to her blindfold as she was passively led into the lunch line. "I usually end up fumbling for whatever's closest, though to be fair, it's not 'bad', it's just stale after a while..." She said before waiting patiently for her friend to return... Except... Uh...

“He’s alive? He's... alive.” Her arms shook, unsure whether or not to be grateful or pissed. "Is this a joke?!”
Rose slightly peeked out from under her blindfold - using two fingers to move the bottom of it up. There she saw Olive staring in disbelief at the supposed-to-be-dead Boris. Rose shrugged before it sank in and she gasped - that must be Boris, who was said to have died! That means the scientists had lied. Rose stayed quiet about it though, and put her blindfold back down over her eyes to prevent getting snitched at or told off for.

It took a minute before Aileen's voice penetrated his melancholy. "Huh?" He felt at his mouth, pulling some blood to his fingers. "It's nothing. Just a bad dream is all." Holden got out of bed and changed out his shirt. He couldn't just leave the blood stained shit and sheets lying around, so he grabbed them and headed out past Aileen without a second word. When it came to that dream, he never told anyone about it. The last thing he wanted was for some giddy scientist to poke at him like a dissected frog even more. Instead, for now, Holden would just take the sheets over to a custodian, if he could find one.

Vleer slunk backward a little now that Kasai had noticed it, vleer was hoping just to hide in here for a while...but stealth was not exactly its strong suit. It shifted itself forward before suddenly wrapping itself around Kasai it didn’t say anything, although a soft whimpering could be heard like...almost crying it would probably be strange for Kasai considering most of the time she would have seen vleer it seems so damn happy so definitely strange. It just stayed clinging to her for a few moments before finally saying something.

“Umm....I...hiding....yeah...just hiding”.

Vleer akward let go of Kasai falling back onto the ground in a blue green puddle

“Please...don’t tell anyone I’m here...”

Even without actual eyes it was definitely scared, but trusted Kasai for some reason.

Admittedly, Ana felt a rush of delight when the guard became uneasy at her comment. It caught him off-guard and that's all she needed to gain the upper hand. She saw his eyebrows furrow, trying to process what she said. Before he could comment, however, he was prodded by a fellow guard and ushered out of the room along with the now unconcious Sally.

Once they left a solemn look crossed over Ana's face.

"Ah, how sad..." Ana said dully, "My cereal's gone soggy..."

It was at this time that she noticed movement at the edge of her vision. A slight shift of her eyes brought her to the source. Olive. A smile began to form on Ana's face, but was dissolved when she saw the other girl's expression. Why did she look so tense? Did something happen? Ana frowned in confusion when Olive apologized for something and asked her if she was okay.

"Huh?" she blinked.

It wouldn't be her ruined breakfast. She could see the grief written all over her face, clouding her beautiful eyes. Her first thought went to Boris, but she had seen his patch of dirty blonde hair enter the cafeteria while she had been talking with the guard. Did her mask slip? She felt a deep stab of fear at the thought but calmed down when she confirmed her form was still keeping up.

What's going on?

The answer came when Boris' greeting carried across the cafeteria. The shift in Olive's expression when she turned back around left no more doubts; she had thought something terrible had happened to Boris. Probably dead, judging by the disbelief. Ana looked at her arms, seeing how they were shaking. It reminded her of Kasai

"Olive, who told you Boris was dead?" she asked calmly but knew the answer as soon as the words had left her lips. "They did, didn't they."

She needed to keep her clam. "Olive, it's okay. They are going to try everything they can to manipulate you. They will lie, they will try to scare you, any weakness they think will break you. But you can't let them win."

Jeane
Jeane smiled brightly when Alieel's mood seemed to improve. She laughed softly as Alieel licked her face. "Yes, friend! That's why I came to visit you, silly!" she said.

She brushed off the dust clinging to her tights and got back to her feet as Alieel went over to investigate the doors. Jeane followed behind her with a look of concern, evidently worried that the girl might be pushing herself too much. "Oh Alieel, you can't go out today... you need to stay here and rest until you get better," she explained, rubbing the top of Alieel's head.

"I know! Why don't I read you a book! The ones with the pictures! Or.. maybe we can watch a movie!"

I can’t be that dangerous.... Right??
Blaise jumped a fair bit at Boris’ sudden appearance, and he felt oddly uncomfortable. Almost uneasy. Like he shouldn’t be this close to his dear friend.

‘No, no. What happened earlier doesn’t concern them, they’re all too valuable for the bastard white coats to suddenly flip the switch. Everything is gonna be fine.’

The Pyro paused his eating and looked over with a small smile before pulling up his white board and scribbled.

“Hey Boris! I’m doing alright, how about yourself?”

Immediately after he had greeted his friend, the one named Waclaw approached. He wasn’t someone Blaise really felt comfortable around, simply due to the nature in differences of their abilities. Nothing personal, he still was friendly as ever, he just didn’t like being close to him due to his ever present hate of the cold.

“Ciao Waclaw, feeling frosty today?” He smirked a little at his pun but there was no ill intent in his words.

“Sorry, that was really bad. Anyways! How are you?”

Alieel continued to cling to the door with a long whine as Jeane said they couldn't leave today, turning back she sat knees in the air and hands in front like some sort of ape like creature, an evident semi scowl on her face which quickly faded back to happiness as she launched off into Jeane's arms with a flop, tail trying its best to hold itself up in a happy wag but too weak.

It was much like when she first met Jeane, weak from probing and tests, distressed and constantly calling out like a wild beast, she'd come so far from that day almost two years ago now.

Letting out a long gurgle she licked Jeane's face again, a couple of camera operators giggling before switching on the mic, "Dr. Jeane, would you like to request the tv setup?" they asked through the microphone, they weren't like the guards and often remain quiet to anything but the scientists, and certainly had never been seen by experiments, other than the younger babies, sometimes that voice was all they knew when their powers were stabilising.

At the crackle of life from the speaking device Alieel shot up trying to latch onto the ceiling to attack the camera as normal but flopped down onto her face, butt in the air with a pained whine from hitting her chin.

Sitting up she rubbed at it cross legged, instead staring at the camera and rocking back and forth a little happily, tongue out and lightly hissing at it in a friendly manner.

Kasai sighed as the quivering blob sat in front of herself, slowly reaching up to rub her face but realising the hand locks instead grunted and kicked the wall slightly in annoyance. However as the slime ball latched onto her form she freaked out a little, letting out a small 'ewwwwww' like noise and tensing as she stumbled backwards before it let go, looking about as sad as a mess of blue on the floor could.

"Whatever. I aint gonna tell anyone, not that I could anyway~…. Kinda the point of 'solitary'." she mused with a light smirk at the creature, coming back over near the small barred wall and sitting cross legged in the chains.

"What'd you do anyway? Like- make someones clothes slimey or something?" she chuckled.

Laying her head back against the wall, for a moment there she really had panicked, but only because it latched on near there…. near that weird thing called a baby.

Suddenly she let out a sneeze and raised a brow, "huuh" she mused, "Someone talking bout me or something~…." she muttered, blinking curiously, the odd expression having been picked up by guards.

vleer mass spread out further onto the floor of the cell before slowly morphing itself together back into its humanoid form, resting its head against the other side of the cells wall sighing a little before speaking a tendril snaking its way toward kasai's arm coiling around her arm

"well...its...because there...umm a bit of me...that really really likes breaking things...and the white coat people...th-th-they found... out how to make that one...b-b-bit of me...break everything...and i...did it...they got hurt...and" vleer stopped speaking breaking down crying once again managing to stop itself after a few moments it looked back at kasai "i-i-im...sorry... i...thing... if i..do that..well arthur says all the dangerous people stay in F block...so..."

vleer got distracted finally realizing there was someone else looking into the room it was the new girl sally for a few days ago one of its tendrils slid its way up and out of the cell through the window the it then resting itself on top of sally's head

"what...are you doing here? your...not meant to be here sally...this is where the big scary stuff is meant to be...like...me"

A soft, dramatic sigh followed Sally's attempt of capturing the attention of whomever, or whatever was in the cell across from hers. It could have been her soft voice lost in the waves of harsher and louder ones echoing throughout the narrow hallway, or that of her mere size which made it difficult to even peer through the window. Regardless, she could have swore it was the strange creature she had briefly met days ago. As Sally turned in defeat, Princess maintaining its balance on her shoulder, she was welcomed to a sudden weight on top of her head. Her arms quickly stretched out to the side, taken by surprise as Princess too jumped straight up in the air, almost paranormal-like until gravity returned it to the ground. Sally's pale eyes slowly glanced up, along with the mildly annoyed feline. Nothing simply sneaks up on a cat... or lives to tell the tale - at least in their eyes. She giggled almost immediately, both realizing it was Vleer yet again that had surprised her, and at the sassy flick of Princess's tail.

"Vleer! I knew that was you!" She smiled proudly as she turned back toward the window, propping herself up on tippy-toes to view out and see if anyone else resided in the cell, "Is that your cell?" - "Oh - I was sent here because I was searching for Princess... and I think I hurt one of the wicked witch's minions... They said I had to "learn my lesson".... I think I am on timeout" Her voice lowered slightly, almost as if she was torn between pride and guilt... but only for a moment before reaching up with one of her small arms to offer Vleer a perch to rest on so that she could view them. "I'm glad you are here, I think there are a lot of mean people down here, " she almost whispered.
