Sally May (#000271)
Sally's small form sat curled up within a ball as she sat on a stiff bed. The thin light of the hallway illuminated the floor next to her, not only indicating it was a start to another day, but exaggerating her prison. It had been a full two days since she was locked within this dark hole. That bitter-sweet day, the day she met some of her first friends, and the day those wicked guards threw her into this holding cell, and worse, stole Princess away. For the first day and a half, Sally spent it within the eyes of Princess, watching as the scientists examined it, prodded it, evaluated it. Only to then move it back into a small cage to be moved further away into another room. It confused Sally, but it was her only source of being close to Princess. Aside from their usual exploration tests, they seemed to be trying to determine the implications of distance between the two. This repetitive methodology continued until suddenly during one of their experiments, the connection was lost, leaving Sally within the dark room.
It was three whole hours since Sally lost contact with Princess. Her eyes were red from tears that streamed down her face; she had never felt so alone before. She looked down at another day of untouched food; this plate even containing pees, Princess's favorite treat. A soft whimper erupted from her throat as she rocked softly, trying to comfort herself. She felt everything they put Princess through, the needle that stuck into it's fur, drawing out some of the fluids that made up Princess. Even the scientists were unable to confirm all the elements found within the feline. She felt the fear of Princess... or perhaps it was her own. They were so closely bound, it was sometimes hard to differentiate if they were the same being, occupying different bodies, or two bodies sharing the same mentality. She gripped her knees, frustrated by the lack of information and distance from Princess. Her nails began to dig into the flesh of her leg as anxiety filled her thoughts. It was her birthday today, or at least she thought it was. This was no surprise, it was only going to be another day within this black room. She whimpered once more as her breathing grew heavy. Suddenly her pale eyes narrowed sharply and glanced up at the one repetitively beeping red light belonging to a camera watching over her.
Not long after, the door of Sally's prison slowly opened, allowing light to finally flood into the room. Instead of a bare room, to the two guards surprise, a wave of heat and steam welcomed them as they stepped into a foggy room. The steam was hot, similar to a sauna but with less visibility.
"What is this kid up to this time?", one of the guards mockingly questioned to the other as they aimlessly walked into the room, searching for Sally. "#000271, locate yourself immediately. This is a final order." They harshly called out.
As if in an answer, of a sort, one of the guards yelled in pain as Sally kicked him in the shin, harder than one could imagine for a little girl. He immediately grasped down, trying to grab the source only to find his own feet suddenly frozen to the ground. A contradicting feeling within the hot sauna room. "Give me Princess back!" Sally's voice demanded within the fog, as if part of it.
"Call the others!" The irritated guard yelled to the other who, in his haste to run towards the door, slipped on a thin layer of ice that covered the ground, knocking him out as he hit the ground. Sally wasn't sure if this sporadic plan would work, but she had waited long enough. As the fleeing guard hit the ground, Sally was already running towards the door, looking as if she was jumping out of a cloud as she exited. To both of their surprise and to Sally's horror, another guard was positioned outside the room, one who was much faster and could see. Sally found herself grabbed by her waist and lifted up as she tried to run. "NOOO! Let me go you big fat meanie! Give me Princess!!" She yelled as she was faced to the third guard who held an angry expression plastered on his face. She tried to push him away, but he held tight as she squirmed. Nothing was going to stop her from getting to Princess. Frustrated tears washed her cheeks as she struggled with all her might, hitting him with her weak arms. In her rash anger, her eyes were closed hoping that in her fierce little rage she could somehow get loose. Suddenly, the man's grip loosened as the guard's face showed a pained twisted expression. Sally realized one of her hands were planted on his chest. She quickly retracted as she was released and the man fell limp onto the ground. Sally hesitated for a moment, unsure what had happened to the man. Not a moment later, she heard more yelling from down the hall, alerting her to new arrivals. She quickly darted down the opposite direction, continuing her search for Princess. Her bare-feet tapped on the cold flooring as she sprinted, hoping to outrun the others long enough to find her lost companion. One of the scientists, who was studying her, did not follow in pursuit like the rest, instead she looked down at the guard laying on the ground. New ideas come to her wicked mind. New opportunities. New discoveries. The man was shortly revived luckily, due to the doctors close by.

Sally almost slipped as she turned a sharp corner, trying to find some familiarity in her surroundings as she continued to yell for Princess. Her voice echoed throughout the hall. Like the gates of heaven, Sally spotted the cafeteria doors and quickly bolted through. The doors forcefully flew open, Sally standing in the doorway, her hair messy and eyes darting around like a wild animal let out of it's cage. She quickly spotted Ana, who sat alone. In that spark of hope she ran up to her, breathing exhausted before words could be comprehensible. "Princess?! - Have you seen Princess?" She pleaded Ana for information. Of course, Sally was never formally introduced to Ana, but she seemed nice when she noticed her two days ago, and seemed to be in the loop of information. As for Ana, this sudden, rash questioning may come as quite the peaceful-breakfast crasher. While repeating her questions, more in desperation, Sally quickly slipped underneath the table as the guards within the cafeteria joined the pursuit. She was a quick little one, but no one can escape long. Something Sally was quickly coming to understand. Three guards came crashing down on her as she exited the table and soon after, a soft pinch of a needle containing sedatives followed, rapidly sending Sally into a slumber. Her petite form was held over the shoulder of one of the guards as they escorted her back out of the cafeteria toward the same cell block as Kasai was located. "It would seem, a scare tactic is in order." One of the scientists informed the guard as they parted. "It worked for you, didn't it, Dove?" He stated as he looked to Ana who was sitting alone, only to once again observe the guards drag another away from the cafeteria. He offered her a toothy grin.
