Dax grinned as Wade took Flynn from his arms with a nonchalant cock of his head.

"Well I am the first mate and aren't you the one hired to do the 'heavy lifting'?" He grinned, as with his foot he kicked the hatch to the incinerator closed.

Taking the lead towards the brig, Dax looked back towards the small red thing in Wade's arm with a slight worried expression, before adding with a dark chuckle.

"Just be careful that thing doesn't wake up, alright? I mean, I don't know how long it's gonna be out for but I'm pretty sure it will be pissed when it wakes up...that added with its teeth..." The man shook his head and looked back towards the direction they were walking in. "We just don't know what its capable of..."

(@Deadpool, @ScountheRatKing, again sorry for punching Flynn Scount, but he can come back whenever you want. Have him gnaw on Dax or Wade, or turn on the 'cute' charm in front of the girls when they eventually reach the dock. Charm his way into the ladies' hearts. )

At the first sight of Charlie both Ross and Shin didn't think too much of it... It wasn't until she did her little wave did it make the Captain and the navigator to stop and take a double look. Charlie had that 'I didn't do anything wrong' look on her face, which only meant the opposite. Ross tilted her head a bit as she studied the Lead rider. "Yes, a fine group of people..." Ross stated.

Both Andrew and Mike looked to one another before looking back to Charlie, "I wouldn't call us a fine group there love." Anthony smirked as he got a better look at Charlie. Rem the eldest brother turned to the other two. "Oi.... Not our crew..." He stated. Rem was the kind of person to let a captain take care of his or her own crew. Just like how Rem took care of his two younger brothers.

Ross let a soft smile cross her lips as she looked over to Shin. "Oh, that does remind me... Shin, Charlie, Wade and Raven are on your duty for the twenty-four hours." Ross looked back to Charlie. "It's that right?" She asked the girl. Ross could tell Charlie was hurt and knew the girl had a lot of pride before she would even admit it.

Shin nodded before looking back to Charlie. "That is perfect." Shin made his way over to Charlie. "Captain why don't you and the others head over to the drop ships. I'll show Charlie here what she'll be doing before I head down there."

Ross rolled her eyes and nodded before motioning for the Remington brothers to follow her. "This way guns." She took them down the corridor and was soon gone.

Shin looked over to Charlie once Ross and the others were gone. He let out a light sigh as he held out an arm to her. "You owe me." Shin stated as he started to help Charlie back to her room.

Val wasn't sure how to tell people no at this point. With Braxtes words about heading down to the lower parts of the ship she started to freak out inside. The captain didn't let passengers roam around on the ship, they were assigned quarters and areas that they could go, other then that the rest of the ship would be off limits. Not to mention Shin's anger if anyone broke those rules. She rushed over to the com for the ship and hit the call button to the whole ship. "Help me... Help me, help me... Oh god..." You could hear her frantically hitting other buttons which made the coms break in and out every now and again.

"Dax... Wade.... Captain?" She questioned to the silence.

At the sound of Val's voice Ross let out a heavy sigh and covered her face with her hands. Rem gave her a small smile, "Don't beat yourself up.. The cargo ain't goin no where." Rem reassured her.

Ross turned to the three brothers. "Thank you." She stated before changing direction. She headed for the docking bay where Val and the new passengers would be. The three brothers followed her and once in the somewhat large bay they noticed a few faces. They couldn't tell who was part of Ross' crew and who wasn't... But they could take a wild guess.

"What's going on here?" Ross asked.

Vladimir had been scrambling into the ship on his hands and knees after arriving the cash into the woman's hands, and his head bumped into something. He looked up, his eyes wide and thinking it was s some animal testing to kill him he pulled a gun out. "Whoopsies. Just a guard." He giggled, and replaced his gun on his back. "Now then, if I could just go past you and continue on my way..." He began to try and squeeze inbetween the newcomers, trying to get into the ship and see what kind of guns they had on board. "I'm just curious, but do you have the GN247-Hydra? I simply adore that model. I've been trying to get one for my modest ship, but it's just so expensive! Money, money, money. Always a problem." He grinned up at the group, only his head through, as his guns impeded any more progress.

Charlie

First off, love? Did that man just call Charlie Gardener ‘love’? Without even realizing, Charlie’s lips parted to form an angry ‘o’, as her brow furrowed. However, before an indignant gasp or comment could be made, Charlie found her lips clamping closed as Ross relayed the information about Wade, Raven and she were on ship duty.

Isn't that right?"

Charlie gingerly nodded in reply, now glad that the love comment had left her at a loss for words just in case her ship duty was extended due to any smartarse comments made. Whilst at the same time, a cold lump formed in her throat when Shin mentioned he'd stick around to give her orders.

When the captain moved off, the three guys in toe, Charlie looked up at the navigator expecting to see a knowing smug grin, or even a joking insult about her inability to stay out of trouble. But instead, she found him extending his arm towards her.

You owe me.”

Charlie nodded, before gently lowering her arm and tucking into Shin’s, giving an involuntary sigh of relief as she felt some of the pressure lift from her side.

“Duly noted.” She replied, as she gently bumped his arm with her good fist. “But thanks Shin. How’s the cold/flu thing going anyway?”

Val’s voice then pipped up through the corridors, panic clear in her voice and making Charlie attempt to pick up her pace a little. From the sounds of it, everyone had their plates full and the captain needed Shin back ASAP for whatever was going on. So like hell was she going to be a dead weight on anyone.

Dax

At the same moment, Dax also picked up the pace as Val’s voice chimed up over the coms. The reason for the doctor’s panic becoming evident very quickly as a man can flying around the corner, towards the engine rooms.

On spotting the new target, Dax came to a sudden spot with a smirk which worked its way across his lips. Squaring off his shoulders towards the stranger, Dax lifted himself to his full height, his arms protectively crossing over his chest. To the stranger, the imposing alien now blocked his path with an disapproving and challenging smile.

“And where do you think you are going, sir? This area is off limits to everyone who is not part of the crew.”

Ross looked down at Vladimir when he ran into her. The look on her face was otherwise frightening. "You dare to pull a gun on a captain?" she asked, even if the man had placed it away. She crossed her arms over her chest as he asked about a certain gun. Ross was not pleased with the man's question abilities. "How about we try this again..." She looked to all the passengers. "There will be no refunds on my ship!" She called out. Her voice boomed with authority.

"You will be placed into quarters for the duration of the time you will be on MY ship. You will not go anywhere without escort unless it is to the common room."

Ross was not pleased with the group, but they seemed to be paying their way at the moment. She looked around in hopes to find Dax or Wade. Val was freaking out too much and was not fit to continue calling for passengers.

Shin shrugged when Charlie asked about his cold. He honestly hadn't thought about it. He was tiered and there was still a lot to do before take off... Plus now he would probably have to drive the drop ship around for Ross... She was never a good pilot or she never wanted to learn.

"I should be fine." Shin over heard Val's voice on the coms and lowered his head. "It must really be the end of the world." Shin continued to help Charlie to her room and once in her room he helped her get to her bed. He was about to leave in a hurry when he stopped at the door. He looked back to her, "Soup..." He smirked... "You owe me really good chicken soup." With that he left the room and headed for the loading bay where Val and Ross would be with the new passengers.

Caine waited his turn like a gentleman and handed the seemingly terrified woman the proper amount for passage, he could probably find some work in the inner worlds. As he casually walked on board. Soon after was the same woman cutting in and out on the ship intercom.....how she'd made it in space was beyond Caine. Meanwhile, crazy Ivan crawled around like a newborn until he bumped into what Was obviously the captain. He waited for her shpeel to end and approached. With a tip of his hat he asked her "Fine ship you have here Captain. You looking for anymore crew?"

Ross looked over to Caine, her eyes drifted slowly as they narrowed. "Did I post a sign outside my ship that said now hiring?" She asked with a forced nice face. "Let me stop this train wreck before anymore of you get the wrong idea."

The three brothers looked to one another as they had not seen a woman with such anger.

"We are not hiring." Ross knew she needed more crew members, but she was not the kind of captain that would just hire anyone. One had to prove themselves to be on her crew.

Ross looked to the other, she noticed two more men and women were boarding the ship after handing off their fair to Val. Ross let out a deep breath as she wanted to beat the crap out of the next person that asked her to join her crew.

He cowered on the ground and covered his head with his hands. "Oh dear oh dear I have offended the captain!!!" he bounced up, standing straight and tall, his features clean cut and rigid, completely serious. "I do sincerely apologize for that, captain, I did not know that was you." His voice was respectful and not screechy like before. "If you would assign my quarters, I would gladly take my place there, unless you need someone to fix, make, shoot, or lovingly caress any gun you may have." He gave a lopsided grin and a lazy salute. He bowed slightly. "I do hope you were not tainted by my initial impression, I will not act like that near you again." He waited for further instruction.

Jack

Jack hid his smile below a fleshy mask of sincerity, as he nodded towards the captain. The woman was pretty in a sort of terrifying kind of way, but Jack had to admit, she did leave one hell of a first impression. Eyes ablaze and flanked by three other rather burly looking man, she knew what she was doing, setting the chain of command straight within seconds.

Afraid to approach and risk further anger from his new host, Jack offered a simple smiled, as he placed a hand over his heart in a little bow towards Ross.

“I must apologise if we caused any insult, captain,” His voice was low, smooth and rich, as he looked up through a few strands of thick blonde hair. “But, might I add, it is a pleasure to meet you.”

With this, he gently placed down his cargo bag and straightened, adjusting the collar of his shirt in a delicate fashion. A perfect picture of a gentleman. Yet beneath the pleasantries, Jack hid a huge amount of a disappointment at the mention of traveling arrangements. To be assigned to a cabin and then kept there unless escorted? That would most definitely put a dampener on his trip…unless of course his escort was a lady. Now that would certainly be more fun than being followed around by one of the dirt covered, phlegm spitting cowboys which stood behind the woman.

Charlie

Charlie winced a little as Shin helped her climb into bed, before once again thanking him for his help.

“You’re a real knight in shining armour.” She sighed, as she pulled up the covers, instantly feeling the benefits of not moving. But, when no reply came, Charlie 90% sure the man missed that or simply ignored the giggled statement with his usual stoicism. Charlie instead simply curled up, watching Shin hurry off before he paused expectantly in her doorway.

Propping herself up a little, she watched him turn with a smirk across his face.

“Chicken soup?” She repeated, a little shocked as a wave of relief washed over her at the realisation that her future might not hold as much toilet scrubbing as she thought. “As you wish.”

With that, the doors closed and Charlie found herself alone once more. Curling up carefully around her injuries, she allowed herself to close her eyes, before saying to the empty room.

“Chicken soup…out of the hundreds of things he could have asked… he went for chicken soup.” before sleep swept in.

Caine tipped his hat at her and walked off to the rooms where everyone was heading. Finding an open room, we walked in and set his bag on the bed, there wasn't much, a bed, sink, a locker. But Caine had had less. He settled his items in and opened up his bag. Inside revealed a plethora of weaponry and various items to anyone passing by and looking as the door was still open. Caine picked up an assult rifle from the bunch and began to disassemble it for cleaning as he quietly kept to himself.

Emma

Once her money was taken and she was ushered aboard she gave a quick thank you in response and quickly made her way to the passenger quarters. She didn't exactly have anything but a small bag full of clothes, food, and water so all she had to do was find a room and sling her stuff inside. She was a mix of excited and relieved on board the massive ship. Surely the people after her wouldn't dare follow her onto here, the ships crew would protect her and the other passengers from anything, right? Right. After finding an empty room it occured to her she needed to ask if she could dock her cruiser with the ship somehow, preferrably get a job too. After placing her bag in a corner of the room she set out in search of the Captain, she'd rather not have to leave her cruiser behind after all. Plus if she could get a job that'd be even better, she'd never have to worry again.

, staring at them both for a moment. He was quite perplexed by the hostility but remaining still seemed to puzzle them so that gave him the upper hand. His bioptics collected data and captured what each of their appearance was. ++Name: Wade Wilson. Species: Genetically modified human. Prosthetics: Augmented legs, cybernetic arms, enhanced eyes. Current occupation: Hired Gun++ Well isn't this interesting? A genetically modified human, I might have to research that and create some augmentations of my own. Thought Braxtes, tilting his head to the other side so he could inspect him as well. ++Name: Dakarai. Species: Elsangan. Current Occupation: First-mate of the Gallion++ "What is this about? I payed did I not?" Said Braxtes, testing there levels of hostility by pretending to not know this was off limits. He refused to stay up where everyone else was, it seemed much better in the dark where he could do as he please.

Dax

Dax narrowed his eyes as the ‘passenger’ stopped, every now and then cocking his head to the side with oddly, sharp mechanical grace, examining crew. From first appearances, the thing in front of them was more machine than flesh and, unlike Wade, this guy gave Dakarai the creeps as well as managing to get on his nerves. Not saying that Wade couldn’t do that either but still …. ( ;) )

“Ah, common mistake my friend. You paid for travel, not an all-round tour of our engine room.” Dax offered, his jovial words lost to his baritone voice. He remained perfectly still, knowing Wade had already contacted Ross, unwilling to allow an opportunity for passenger to fly on by.

“As a passenger, you are assigned a room in which you will stay for the duration of your trip.” Slowly, he unfurled an arm, gesturing back along the corridor in which the passenger had come from. “I can show you the way to your quarters if you’d like. But there are no exceptions to the rule. Security reasons.”

Which was the honest truth. Any ship which took on passengers had to gamble. There was no telling who was actually coming onto your ship… so it was better to keep a tight rein on the perfect strangers.

"Might there be any cold rooms that I could use by any chance?" Asked Braxtes even though he had a feeling the answer would be negative, still wouldn't hurt to ask. He lowered himself to a landing, his metal feet hitting the ground with a clank as he slowly walked up to the 2.

@Deadpool @Lokipi

The small Greshlin slowly opened his eyes, his two stomachs churning with the swaying motion. He heard robotized voices swirling around his surroundings, which had, assuringly, woke him up. He slowly opened his eyes to peek only to see the strange man-beast he had followed onto the brig... and he was securely fastened to him by some sort of strap attached to a.. helmet maybe? Flynn's lip twitches in annoyance, his curved horn-like appendages rubbing the material of the breeches, a sensation similar to rope burn. Not to mention his head hurt something fierce, it was a lucky thing he had no calcium bones, only flexible cartilage.

He goes to open his mouth, to instill upon this horrid man a piece of his mind, though he stops realizing another being's presence. He slowly looks up and gasps quite audibly from place of imprisonment. It looked like... an evil menace, a nightmare come true... a wraithe-man from his home planet, Orphan. Despite every single thing that point hard against it- not to mention how impossible it was, considering they weren't really real and were a simple folk tale like the boogeyman - the small, but well equipped alien, started screaming and flailing with every inch of his life - to the point he snapped the measly tether holding him and unleashed his fear.

The instant he was free, the tiny extraterrestrial darted up a set of tubing, his frog-like fingers aiding in his journey up the wall easily, were he stopped in a corner, baring his shark-ish rows teeth like a wild cat and hissing.

...Wade was examining the robot passenger when he heard a gasp. He turned and looked around but dismissed it for one of the pipes excerting air. Wade had forgotten about the tiny frog like creature tucked away in his helmet. With his attention being drawn back to the robotic passenger. He felt a slight weight lifted from his back soon after heard the clank of his helmet against the Gallion's metal grates. He spun around only catching a slight blur of reddish pink before realizing what was going on. He stared at the sharp-toothed frog-thing hissing up in the corner...

HOLY SHI-

...Wade quickly pulled on Dax's shoulder so the man would turn and face the horrible creature up in the corner of the pipes...

DI-DID YOU SEE THAT!? THE DAMN THING RUINED ONE OF MY HARNESS' AND FLASHED UP THERE BEFORE I COULD EVEN BLINK!

...He stared in wonder, and slowly, not moving his eyes from the frog thing, put his gun over his back again, and knelt down grabbing his helmet before tucking it under his bicep. And with an odd curiosity, his eyebrows arched and he stood up...

Hey you! Red... thing... up there

Dax was about to reply to the passenger with a polite but stern ‘no’, when all hell broke loose behind him. A shrill scream shattered the tense atmosphere, whilst a loud ring of metal sang out as Wade’s helmet hit the floor. Whirling, hands instantly reaching towards his blades, Dakarai’s eyes turned to see Wade’s puzzled but mortified face, as the man reached to Dax’s shoulder, turning his eyes to red hissing toad which now had taken refuge in the corridor’s corner, tucked near the twisting pipes.

Staring at it, Dax couldn’t help but shiver at the sound of the extra-terrestrial’s hisses whilst he glanced at Wade, who now stammered over words about the creature’s speed. Slowing his heart, Dax nodded to his crew mate, gently reaching over to place a hand on Wade’s gun hand.

“It can speak.” He confirmed with a quiet, and this time gentle voice, eyes flicking back to Flynn with an odd expression, recalling its muttered excuses prior to him being wiped out. He could understand the creature’s anger, as well, he had just punched it. But from back home, the animals would act differently at anger. No this was fear. A display to frighten off whatever it was that was frightening Flynn…

“Hey…friend. Why don’t you come down from there?” Dax began, taking a tentative step towards the small creature, eyes never leaving the snarling mouth which was pointed in their direction. With his free hand, Dax motioned for the other passenger to leave the way they had come. If the small animal was aggressive and not simply afraid, then Dax could not allow one of their paying passengers to get hurt on his watch. That would be bad for business.

The Greshlin hisses back in annoyance, his lips pulled back in agitation," I am not just some thing, I am a Greshlin you know. I can speak perfectly fine!"

"And I refuse to come down. Your just going to feed me to the wraithe-man," he huffs, his offensive flair dying down considerably as he regained his composure as he points an accusing stubby finger at the still-silent man, who was starting to truly scare him, but had no attempt at anything.... .yet. He knew that they did that to lure little Greshlins like him in... only to rip open their soft bellies and slurp their intestine like.... like those ramen noodles - which he had discovered only a day ago.

"I'm going to stay right here," he continues, stomping his foot on some electrical box, not enough to damage anything, just to make a point, "Or you're gonna knock my nargin again." He rubs his curled head for added affect, directing the last bit to the strange creature that found him in the hot-room first.

"It hurts.... y-you big bully!" he calls out, his voice full of hurt. The extraterrestrial pouts, small whimpers emanating from his small form, from stress, his hurting margin, and general fear forcing his ecstatic emotions to pour out like a burst wineskin. Greshlins were always the most... emotional, of most extraterrestrial races due to the typical clan-like nature. But this.... was pathetic. Even the red-skinnned creature realized that. He didn't care though. It just felt nice to let it all out. Even though it meant having tears running down his amphibious, and rather clammy, skin.

(Oh a greshlin?.....kill it like the rest..... jking xD )

Braxtes studied the Greshlin, not one of the most interesting races he'd seen but still fairly alright. A peaceful enough race and a peaceful planet as well, unlike Dreojedin where there was ships and cruisers coming in everyday and things to be built. This Greshlin seemed to think of him as a Wraithe-man from his home planet likely which led him to believe he didn't want to hear the truth but to bad he was going to say it. "There seems to be a miss understanding. Wraithe-men are from your home planet, correct? I have not been to any planet other than here on Dreojedin so tell me how could I be such a thing?" He asked in the most calm voice he could muster but it still sounded like he was annoyed, which he kinda was.

Caine finished cleaning everyone one of his pieces before setting them back in their respective places as he placed his bag inside the locker. He felt a urge to get up and walk around and so he did. Casually breezing the hallways Caine heard the ruckus of several others worrying over some toad or something. Caine would have just shot it, maybe thrown some salt on it. Or was that for slugs? He couldn't remember. He'd ran into a few of them before in his travels and always found them a bit annoying. Regardless he wasn't in the mood to deal with everyone else's ignorance as he walked around some more and eventually find himself in the hangar. Something caught his eye, he went over and inspected the Rider bikes. Something about it felt.....odd.....yet familiar. They looked to be in fine condition, and a few modern upgrades.

@Whoever can see him

Ross felt more then annoyed. Half of the new passengers were walking on thin ice with her. She was the kind of captain that would throw people off in the middle of space, but would rather not have the headache... So she would try to kick them off if needed before she left planet side.

She pressed the button to her com, "Wade, Dax.... Round up all the passengers and their luggage. Bring them back to the loading bay. If any give you problems.... Either shoot them or just throw them off my boat with no refund." She stated firmly. She hit the button again just as Shin meet her side.

"Drop ship." she mentioned without even looking at the navigator. Shin let out a grumble as he turned around and left her side to head to the drop ships.

Raven would have gone back to her room but found it to be too close to Charlie at the moment. She needed to clear her mind and hopefully stay out of Shin's way. She had made her way to the garage for their bikes and decided that maybe working on her bike would change her mood... Especially after she had witnessed Shin being nice to Charlie. She wondered what the hell that was. Shin was never really nice... Or at least not that nice.

Dax

‘Greshlin’, so that’s what it called itself. At last some progress had been made. Or at least Dax allowed himself to think so, for all of about 3 seconds before the Greshlin refused to come down. Why? Because he believed that they were going to feed him to the passenger… Yeah that was new.

Whatever world in which the Greshlin had originated from, it must have been a unforgiving place. The Elsangan’s had long since given up feeding prisoners to ‘pets’. Well at least most of the tribes had anyway. Allowing an internal sigh, Dax watched Flynn’s tiny foot stomp in protest for his treatment, ending his tantrum in flurry with an indignant cry of ‘bully’.

“Alright.” Dax began on an in breath, casting a sideways look towards Wade. “I have to apologise for hitting your…Nargin.” The word seemed wrong coming from his lips, but none the less, Dakarai raised a hand in apology. “But we are not going to feed you to him.” Jerking his head towards the passenger, “In fact, he was just about to leave. Weren’t you?” Dax motioned for the man to take the hint, but with impeccable timing, Ross’ voice began to bark orders into Dax’s ear, instantly causing him to back track his original suggestion.

“Alright. Scratch that. He’s going to stay. But not to eat you.” Dax offered to Flynn causally, as now his attention focused in on listening to the tension in Ross’ voice. She was pissed. As so early into taking passengers. These guys must be pros. That, or simply had a death wish or two.

Pressing down his comm’s whilst simultaneously patting Wade on the shoulder, Dax replied with a calm voice. “Aye captain. We’ll get right on it.”

Of course, Dax made no mention about his current attempt to negotiate with a red frog to come down from the ceiling due to fear of them feeding said red frog to their guest.

“Alright Wade.” Dax began as his comm’s clicked off. “Who wants to stay with the thi…I mean the Greshlin, and who wants to go herd up passengers?”

Charlie

Charlie on the other hand, couldn’t help but giggle a little as she listened to the commotion over comms. First Val, now Ross and Dax.

“Rule number one.” Charlie sighed as she lay back on her pillow. “Never split up the party.”

Bemused, Jack straighten when the captain moved away, ignoring his gesture and apologetic word without as much as a blink in his direction. This of course was rare for Jack, creating a feeling somewhere between bruised pride and shock which the young man had not had to endure before. So, whilst the captain strode away, cronies in toe behind what Jack perceived to be a small, weedy black haired waiter…he meant crew, Jack allowed himself a moment to puzzle over the new sensation. After this, he then did what he believed should be done with any negative emotion and buried the feeling with a smile. There was no need to be so upset over something so petty after all. Besides, the woman was the captain of her own ship and therefore perfectly within her rights to talk or, in Jack’s case, ignore anyone she chooses.

When the merry party left their view muttering something about a drop ship, Jack, instead, turned his attention to the few remaining in the loading bay. Out of the six which originally followed the doctor on board, three, including himself, had remained. The other three, the 20-somethings man, the death wraith flying thing and the smallish woman had sauntered off to do their own thing, which left the gun fanatic, the hairy brute and himself in the company of the panicky doctor.

“So.” Jack began, chirpily clapping his hands together once to break the now awkward silence which had settled around them. “Like I said before, it is a pleasure to meet you all, but let’s spark some conversation, yes?” He beamed this last bit but did not wait for a reply, figuring a conversation would pass the time while they waited for their tour guide to appear and show them to their quarters.

“So what brings you all to these parts of the verse?”
