"No problem, it's the least I can do as a subject of this land, protecting its princess." Takeshi replied as they had entered Sarena's room. He ignored the fact that he was in a room alone with a girl and focused on keeping Sarena safe. "Don't leave my side." He said to her so it would be easier for him to protect her.

Sarena let go of his hand and looked at him. "I wasn't planning to," she murmured.

Takeshi just looked back and couldn't help but laugh a little in spite of the situation. "You don't have to act so shy you know. But then again, I guess it's a good thing that you can still stay yourself in a situation such as this. Even for me, I can't help but feel the tension of pre-battle and I'm already ready to fight."

Sarena chuckled and sat on her bed, biting her lip. "What do we do now?" she asked him.

Well, if push comes to shove, I've got a secret weapon up my sleeve." Takeshi replied with a bit of a smile to reassure the girl behind him. "It'll definitely beat any sword the knights use." It was then the door crashed down, a man with a large two handed sword being the cause. Another man crashed through the window. "Shoot, there's more than one this time. It must be a full on attack this time."


OOC: Also, try to write at least two or three lines per post. It's hard for me to figure out how to respond. You should add to the story as well, not just me.

Sarena jumped to her feet, whirling around. She came up behind Takeshi and looked around with wide eyes. "How did they find us?" she said.

"Now I feel sort of stupid, I should have taken you to a more less likely place for a princess to be." Takeshi said with a bashful yet still carefree smile which surprised the new assailants.


"You think you can do anything brat?" The one who had crashed through the door exclaimed. Even through his helmet, he was visibly annoyed by the lack of fear in Takeshi's face. "You don't even have a knife!"


"Very true, I don't have a knife." Takeshi replied while keeping on his poker face. "However, I've got something else that will suffice for my weapon." He then put his hand in front of him palm facing downward. "Now you'll see the real reason why I was shunned from the knights." Takeshi said to Sarena with a small smile before deactivating a seal on his arm. Since Sealing Magic was very common, even among commoners who possessed even a small amount of talent in magic, this didn't surprise anyone. What came out of the seal was what surprised them. It was a long curved sword that greatly differed from the normal long sword this country's warriors used. "It's because I use a foreigner's sword as my main weapon."


OOC: It's a katana. since I mentioned Takeshi was adopted, I had the idea he was adopted from another country. Also, try to write at least 2-3 lines per post. it'll improve your writing

Sarena looked with wide eyes as katana slid from the seal. "Oh my..." she muttered, looking between the two assailants and then back to Takeshi. Sarena gulped. "What do you want with me?" She asked the man that had came from the doorway.

"Wow, this girl is pretty dim, isn't she?" The knight said in response. If one were to think about her status as a member of the royal family, the answer should have been quite obvious. They were going to take her hostage so they could demand something from the king or just kill him and take command, possibly wanting to kill the entire royal family in the process.


"Either way, I won't let you finish your job." Takeshi said as he got into an unusual sword stance. Despite that, it didn't show any inferiority to the normal stances of the knights. The man at the door then charged at him, the one who came from the window closely following. Right as they were about to close in, Takeshi swung his sword multiple times quickly. Soon after, both of the men's swords and armor were cut in half. "Such cheaply produced gear won't be able to protect you from this sword which took 3 months of hard effort to forge."

Sarena jumped back with a yelp of pure surprise and tumbled onto the bed. Once upright, she scrambled backwards towards the headboard, her eyes wide. Fear and admiration filled her gaze as she watched Takeshi.

With a shout, he hit both enemies in the head with the back of his blade as he didn't want to kill them but rather knock them unconscious. Afterwards, he turned towards Sarena and saw that she seemed to be fearful. In response, he put the katana back into the seal he used to store it. "You okay? Sorry for scaring you there."

Sarena gulped and nodded, her eyes still wide and she was still shaking uncontrollably. What had just happened? No wonder he never got to be a knight.
