Fandom Pokemon: Worlds Unfurled

That reminds me. Are bigger pokemon more OP? Such as Rickys reasoning to not use his onix, Thumper, in the gym battle. Smacking a pokemon with its tail may be a normal move for it. But realistically it could do like a lot of frigging damage.

Also, with tyrunt being from team rocket, I will play on the theme of it being trained to do serious damage and have Ricky untrained that. Lol somehow.

In short, yes.

The larger a Pokemon is, and the more it weighs, the harder it hits and the more physical damage is done by physical attacks. Elemental attacks can still be more or less even with other smaller Pokemon so long as they are well trained though. It depends on how the Pokemon was raised.

But physically, bigger = physically stronger.

In that case. Exactly how durable are pokemon? Even the small ones. Could they withstand harsh attacks without dying? Such as a onix tackling a roselia. Or a tyrantrum head butting a beedrill. Or even a scyther using slash one anything. Also including one hit Ko moves like guillotine or horn drill.

Basically. What is too far? And when do pokemon need to hold back?

Since the Amaura is a Pokemon Team Rocket discarded, I'm having her be very shy and quiet and will definetly not respond to yelling and orders, the reason why she was deemed 'not strong enough'.

Just random thinking aloud.

Cause I don't wanna break the rules and go to jail.

If they are that harsh over a relatively minor infraction. I would hate to see what would happen to an act of assault.

Speaking of team rocket. When do pokemkn league rules apply?

If they used two moves In a battle with team rocket would their poke balls seize up?

Moves like Guillotine are not really one-hit K.O. as they are in the games. They're just really strong moves.

Anyway, about durability...

Most Pokemon are durable enough to take a hit, but crushing blows are another story. If Onix were to use a move that is designed to crush something underneath its tail, for example, if they are not big enough to tank it, then they'll likely be crushed and killed.

Pikachu, for example, in season one was Binded by Brock's Onix, and that would actually kill it, popping Pikachu like a zit.

If it were a Pokemon like Snorlax, he'd be able to tank a Bind attack.

But that's the gist of durability. If the size difference is large enough like Onix vs. Pikachu, crushing attacks like Bind, Slam, Body Slam and such could kill smaller Pokemon. Tackle, Tail Whip, and things like that will hurt like a bitch, but for the most part they should survive if Onix holds back enough.

King, from what I read, Team Rocket uses pokemon sure, but guns are pretty common use.
Not sure what that has to do with it.

What the base of what I am asking is, do pokemkn league rules only apply when activated? Such as setting up a battle through your pokedex or something. Or does it apply always. Excluding wild battles.

Guns or not, pokemon battle is still an element. And trying to follow league rules against them would be a serious and potentially fatal disadvantage.

I will have tyrunt obediant. But trained in killing and harm. So when Ricky says bite, it hears maul it's throat out. I might also take the abused pokemon route with him. To further sync him up with Hink. And make him missing an eye.

Pokemon League rules do not apply to Team Rocket. They will attack you as fast and as many times as they can to end battles quickly and mercilessly. If you engage in battle with them, your Pokedex will not react because they don't have a Pokedex. It will only react negatively like that when it has another Pokedex to talk to.

But we probably won't stand a chance for awhile will we
Nope. Not when they usually carry fully evolved Pokemon with them. The only reason the Pokemon on the list I provided are there is because they were being tested for whether or not they were Team Rocket material. For whatever reasons you wish, they didn't make the cut.

Also, everyone: Most of the Pokemon from the Team Rocket side of the list will be injured by the Team Rocket members who deem them failures. Either they'll have been shot, whipped, or just beaten down by their other Pokemon, so take that into account as well. Damaged goods is the name of the game for these poor Pokemon.

Will the pokemon on the not-rocket side of the list be unjured? I'm assuming this attack isn't about to go off without pokemon casualties.

Most of them will be without injury. Their Poke Balls will have kept them safe, but a lot of other Pokemon will end up dead from malfunctioning Poke Balls which couldn't hold it together during the... well... you'll see.

How soon can we expect these developments? Within a time frame including the mini Eevee party. So I know whether Rickys pokemon will still be in the Pokecenter or not. Lol cause it would be interesting if all he had to defend himself was Thumper.

Once the Eevee event is done, it'll be a few hours. Maybe 4-5 hours. Team Rocket works at night, and it's mid-late afternoon right now.

Would the injuries done to Rickys pokemon take a few hours or overnight? They weren't terribly serious but I can't remember the recovery rate.

It'll take about an hour to two hours at most given that Kelly always has her Pokemon hold back just a bit when launching powerful attacks. It's how she trained them. Lots of cuts on Buneary and Mudkip, but nothing serious or threatening to their health or anything like that. Won't take long.
