Fandom Pokemon: Worlds Unfurled

Woohoo! To the gym! Ricky might get to be a cheerleader for the moon mountain girl.

And gym battle! It may be required to lose the trainers first gym battle... BUT I will go above and beyond and maybe lose the second one too! (Unless bonnie just dominates, he already has a serious type disadvantage.)

Okay!

So I've been itching to get this restarted again.

BRING OUT THE PADDLES!!

... CLEAR!!!

* BZZT *

... CLEAR!!

* BZZT *

... We got a pulse! We're back!

Okay, so I'm working with King on getting Ricky's gym battle over and done with. Once that's done, Harlow can have her shot if Cloudy is still lurking there somewhere.

We'll get this one back in gear.

Well good.

I'm pumped up as well.

I have a light schedule this semester at school, so I'll have lots of time to devote to this one for gym challenges and such.

I'll be posting either later tonight or tomorrow regarding King's gym battle with Ricky vs. Kelly(?).

I need to re-read to see where we are. Lol.

It is Kelly vs Ricky.

Bonnie vs Roserade. I think Ricky is down Monty and Crowley and chose not use Thumper because he didn't want to hurt Kellys pokemon.

Currently Bonnie is facing a cloud of paralysis spores and is being backed into a corner.

More or less?

Woooohoooo! Kyero! Shall I PM ya?
You are free to do so at any time and we'll start working on the gym battle.

I'll also have Kelly suggest the Eevee event to Harlow when the match is over.

As a reminder of the Eevee event and what the Eevee are offering you as Trainers:

"In Cerulean City, there is going to be an Eevee event. Three, count them, three Eevee are going to be going up for adoption from a local Pokemon Breeder named Cecelia. So here are the different Eevee and a bit of special information about each one so you can fight amongst yourselves to choose which you want if indeed you want one:

Eevee I:

* Gender: Male

* This Eevee has a bit of a bratty nature to it. When it wants something of you, it wants it
now and if it doesn't get it then you're in trouble. Maybe that means that it will chew on your pillow when you're sleeping or eat some of your snack when you're out taking a bath on a river when on the road or something, but you'll pay for not giving it what it wants when it wants it.

* This individual also has access to a special move not used in the games called
Strafe**.

* Lastly, this Eevee is already seven years old and is very near its evolution stage should someone use a stone or manage to raise its friendship quickly enough.

** Strafe is similar to Agility, but there is a clear distinction between them in this RP. Agility only speeds up forward movement, so whatever direction the Pokemon is currently moving/facing. Strafe, on the other hand, is like Agility for lateral and otherwise non-linear movement. For instance, if Eevee is facing its opponent and they use a special attack like Vine Whip or something, Eevee can use Strafe to rapidly jolt from left to right, front to back, or on any diagonal axis at high speeds to avoid the strikes. However, due to how rapidly the Pokemon goes from zero to sixty (so to speak) this move takes a lot of stamina and can only be used a few times per battle (maximum at this stage is 4 times).

Eevee II:

* Gender: Female

* This Eevee is naturally a friendly and loving cuddle bug, even with people who are new to her. The reason being is that she is actually Cecelia's own Eevee whom she bred specifically for herself. Cecelia raised her with a great deal of love and affection, hence the loving nature of this particular specimen. As such, this Eevee will bond with you very quickly, but the downside is that it's young, being only two years old and its body cannot handle evolution even via stone (nor will it until it turns at least 5 years old)

* This Eevee also knows a move not used in the games, and this move is called
Fade**.

* Finally, this Eevee has a single birth defect which makes her uniquely identifiable from other Eevee, and that is that she has Heterochromia Iridium. Her left eye is a deep green, and her right eye is a dark chocolate brown which is more natural to the Eevee line.

** Fade is a move which Cecelia taught Eevee over their two years together, and it's a very, very special move. Fade allows Eevee to literally vanish for a few brief moments in the same fashion as Ghost Pokemon, which is odd since she is a Normal type. The reason why this Eevee can do this is unknown, but Cecelia seems to understand just fine so perhaps you should ask her about it…

Eevee III:

* Gender: Female

* This Eevee is relatively indifferent to humans, as it was born in a breeding center, passed between both loving and abusive human homes before reaching this point and falling under Cecelia's care. She developed an understanding of the best and worst that humans have to offer. As such, the way you treat this Eevee will determine how fast or slow it bonds with you much more aggressively than other Pokemon. This Eevee knows the difference between empty words of encouragement and genuine concern, so if you just talk to/at her, she will know. You must really engage her and make her believe your words, otherwise she'll refuse to acknowledge your sincerity.

* This Eevee has no special moves, however, it has something else that the other two lack: toughness. This Eevee, due to its various experiences with humans and differences in battle styles throughout the years, is much tougher and stronger than most other Eevee. In fact, if you had this Eevee against one of the Te Brothers, you probably would have won despite the type disadvantage. This Eevee's physical toughness coupled with its unshakable determination make her ideal for more aggressive or head strong trainers."

Yo Kyero, I know I never managed to post much. But I think I'd like to give this another try if you'd take me

If you do take me (And I'm not quite sure I I meet the requirments to get an eevee, kinda confused.) I'd like 2, Paul's on this more for the journey and friends and exploration instead of badges. (If that's an alright motive for exploring the world)

If I did have a preference it would be Ever one. Mostly due to it being Male. I can use that to bring about the return of Louie(sp?). Though Fade seems like a fun ability.

Though I am still a little undecided on whether to get one.

You don't have to. They're there if you want them to be.

I will have other opportunities for trade, adoption, rescue, and such as the RP progresses. In fact after the Eevee event I plan bringing in Team Rocket again to do some damage to the city in an effort to smokescreen the theft of Pokemon from the Pokemon Center. For the most part they'll succeed, but there will be several Pokemon from both sides which will be in need of treatment, and afterwards, adoption.

Some of the choices I have planned should appeal to Ricky's style, so keep your ear open and your eyes on this thread. I'll have details posted once the battle with Harlow is over.
