As they moved on it became a series of hallways and rooms with lots of doors leading to more rooms. All filled with blood stains on various items. Even some dragging themselves into other rooms. However things change when they stopped in one of the rooms. It looked like an operation room from a horror film. The gurney in the middle of the room had a pool of blood beneath it. The tools spread everywhere. Some even impaled into the walls. Many of the glass cases broken and shattered. Their contents long been raided and missing. The shards of glass laid not just at the shelves but all I've ether room. Many smeared with more blood.

It was then Latios dropped to the floor, holding himself up with his hands. His entire body was shaking.

Genesis looked into the room, and was mortified with all of the blood and broken glass, which triggered another flashback of a lab being totally trashed, and himself in the middle if it as he used X-Scissor on the last of the scientists who were locked in. Blind rage due to intense pain from constant experimentation. Reality comes back, and he ran up and kneeled in front of Latios, and calmly, but shakily said, "Are you alright?" He did not know what else to say, but watched him, waiting for a response.

Max looked over at Latios and looked over the room. He seemed only slightly perturbed by what he saw, though he certainly did not appear comfortable. Even though he himself did not appear wholly disturbed, he could feel the emotions of the others in his head, including Latios. He closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths before kneeling down next to Latios. He said nothing, he just wanted to show he was there for him.

Nathan covered her mouth and almost retched again, but this time she managed to keep it in. She found herself very glad that she'd put away Darin and Orion before coming in to the building. She knew the history of this place, at least enough to know that it wasn't the Shadows that did this. She understood his motivation, of course, and it was reasonable. Even still, seeing what she was seeing now... could this much have been necessary? She understood why he did what he had to do, but even still... she couldn't help but find herself doubting.

Shocked, all Arcanus could really do for a few moments is close his eyes and tilt his head downward. "Dear mercy, we live in a broken world.", he murmured. "Let these families be together again.. whoever they may be, dear Arceus take mercy upon their souls.", he prayed simply and quietly, not knowing what else to do than mourn over the massive bloodshed.

Latios didn't respond to any of them. Just kept mumbling to himself things like "I'm not trapped here" and "They can't hurt me." All the while his eyes were slammed shut and he shook his head every now and then as if to shake off a bad omen.

Somewhere down the hall a steady thumping could be heard. It was coming closer and closer. Something was approaching

Max's ears perked up as the sound became audible. He pat Latios's back comfortingly before turning around and facing the door. Nathan ran to the side of the doorway and held her bat up, ready to attack.

"Do you think a bat is going to hurt whatevef is coming this way?" Genesis asked after getting up, and walking to the door. "Whatever it is, it is big. We must be ready." he said as he looked back at Latios. "This place hit him harder than I thought.... I hope he will pull through after we leave this Arceus-Forsaken place." He thought empathetically.

Arcanus readied himself, as well, clutching his pendulum, ready to use Hypnosis on the first thing he sees come out of that door.

(Sorry for the short posts. :( )

Nathan frowned. "What else do you want me to do?!" She whisper-yelled at Genesis

"Stay with Latios. We cannot afford for you to be harmed by whatever is coming." He said as he rubbed his claws together as he looked at the entrance. "You are better alive than dead." he added.

The stomping grew louder as it approached the door. It peaked its head in to reveal that it was a Shadow Garchomp. As it looked in it spotted them all. It opened its mouth to give out a roar to its comrades... But none came. In a split second multiple objects flew out of the room and impaling into the torso of the Garchomp. It looked down to see a severe amount of glass had ripped it open. A moment later and it fell to the ground, dead.

Latios, who had been cowering a moment ago, was now turned toward the beast. His eyes glowing with the usual psychic glow. The light faded and he collapsed once more.

Nathan frowned. She went through the usual process of trying to use context clues to fill in the gaps in her Pokemon language knowledge. Rarely did she understand an entire sentence, but usually she could make do with what she knew. When she couldn't, she usually just remained silent. She pieced together the words. "Latios," "Cannot," "Harm," "coming," "alive," "dead." Latios cannot harm what is coming, it will be alive not dead?

"Well if that's the case, we should run!" Just as she finished that sentence, the Garchomp came and was killed. Nathan screamed. "WHAT THE" she slipped and fell on her back, and scrambled away from the now dead Garchomp. She looked over at Genesis. "You lied!"

"And what exactly did I lie about?" Genesis asked nonchalantly using telepathy as he shook his head. "All I said was Stay with Latios. We cannot afford for you to be harmed by whatever is coming. And that you are better alive than dead." He then sighed. "I guess I should use telepathy to talk to you from now on." He looked at Latios, then spoke to everyone. "We need to leave. Now. This place is doing something to Latios, and for his sake, we need to go." Assailant Assailant Daisie Daisie Latios Latios

Edeon looked shocked at what happened. He glanced back at Latios, the glow just finished fading. "He's losing his mind here." He thought. "No doubt the ones he killed here broke him badly." He went to approach his brother, bent down, and looked him in the eyes. His pupils the size of pinpricks. Latios stopped shaking when he saw Edron in front of him. He looked up so that they were face to face. A single tear leaked from his eyes.

"I'm sorry..." He spoke in little more than a whisper.

"For what."
Asked Edron.

"For lashing out. The memories, they hurt to much. All the pain they brought upon me. The whole while freedom to far from my grasp. I-." However he couldn't finish as he was cut off by the hug Edron enveloped him in.

"You've been hiding your feelings for to long. Your stoic act has only brought you more heartache. Why did you lock yourself away."

Latios glanced to Emlas stareing at the two in shock as well. She had never seen her brother like this. "Because I had to. For her sake..."

Max walked up and supportively placed his hand (paw?) on Emlas's back. "Do not judge him for what he did. He is still the one you love, that has not changed. We must help him."

"I don't blame him for what he's done. I have just never seen him in this condition. Is Edron right. Has Latios been pushing this all back for my sake." She said

Max nodded. "Yes, though do not feel it is your fault. He does it out of love and care for you. The best we can do for him from here, aside from, of course, getting out when we can, is letting him know he does not have to hold his emotions back."

Max nodded. "Naturally." He understood why Latios hid it from her, and he agreed in some aspects, but it's only natural that she'd wish she'd known."

"I agree. We do need to move. I am not liking this place more than anyone else." Genesis said as he walked up to Latios. "Are you alright? Do you need some help getting around?" he asked. It did not hurt to try to help, especially in latios' condition. Assailant Assailant Daisie Daisie Latios Latios

Latios was very much unresponsiveness to anything around him. He just sat there crying softly in Edrons arms. However Edron heard their pleas to move. He looked back at Latios trying to figure out how to get him out of this state. They needed him to lead them through this place. Other wise they would be down here for hours perhaps looking for their goal.

Edron pulled back out of the hug and looked at his brother face to face. Latios just had his head hung low and eyes closed. Edron then lifted his head up with a claw and forced him to look at him. "Latios, look at me... Listen, I know it's hard right now. But we need you. We need you to pull yourself together right now. Help guide us through here... Don't let us get trapped in here like you did."

Latios just simply stared at him for a while. His face wet with tears and eyes hazed. "You haven't changed a bit." He said, his voice mumbling slightly. "Arrogant, stubborn, yet compassionate. Time has done its toll on all of us. Why not you."

"It's like you said. I'm stubborn, I won't accept change."
Edron said with a chuckle at the end. It even got a chuckle of of Latios. Soon the two were both laughing.

After a while the two stopped and came back to reality. "Your right though. I can't be like this, not now. It's to important to lose myself."

"Latios is back!" Genesis exclaimed with joy as he looked at the door, and then back at Latios. "How are we getting out of here? Do we go back the way we came, or are we gonna carve a way out?" He asked, hoping Choice B would be his decision, but A works just as good, if not better due to the chance of other Shadows showing up. Latios Latios

Max nodded. "We need to keep our mission in mind at all times. We must not let ourselves get distracted."

Latios shakily got up and looked out the room. For the most part the path looked clear. But who knows about when they got farther down. "I think that the most logical place of keeping her would be the containment center. Or better yet this place's prison. It's the farthest underground so the most difficult to get to, or out for that matter." Said Latios
