And Karat is the term for purity in gold, what Carat is the size of a diamond. Now normally diamonds don't grow to be such a size in real life so you point does have some reason to it, but once again...

So what I've basically have done is I've roped myself into a situation where all the ways out are simply the easy way out. And I don't feel comfortable with the easy way.

I'm mean sure, they can just wake up. But it feels too easy, too simple.

Yeah, I'm not really sure. I mean, if you want a challenge, we could go try to find Nathan's revives, but it's kinda tough to see where to go from here.

Maybe..something dream-related? Cresselia (correct me if I'm wrong) is a bringer of good dreams or something like that, right? Maybe we can do something relating to that. I really have no knowledge of the matter though, so I'm afraid I'm not of much use here. Just spewing ideas. :/

I see where you were going with that but frankly it doesn't work like that. Cresselias does indeed bring those good dreams, and cures those of bad ones. She does this by releasing an aura as she flies, covering a distance great enough that only one or two passes over a large city would cure those. In the moonlight it appears as if she's spreading fairy dust that falls off her wings. This aura is so powerful in fact that the feathers she molts keep this aura passively, allowing anyone who has it (usually worn in a necklace) to never have bad dreams. However this doesn't exactly wake people up. It can most of the time when used on those with bad dreams, especially those from Darkrai, for when they wake up it's usually from the nightmare ending. Have you ever had a bad dream as a kid and woke up with a fright, that's basically what happens. But this would do nothing to wake Cesscelia up. The only benefit she gains from her own aura is that she can never be plagued by nightmares herself. (of course this means nothing in the games as Darkrai has no problem putting her to sleep as well and giving nightmares. This is because GameFreak decided that they should give her Levitate instead of something that actually counters Darkrai. The only way to truly win against a Darkrai in the game is to use a Primeape)

Speaking of Cresselia, she's being a pain in my butt right now.

It's not that she keeps running away. It's just that she keeps getting in my damn way. I'm trying to train up this Blissly and she keeps popping up. I already have her from my previous game so I don't feel like capturing her and killing her is just bad... And impossible when she keeps running away.

Wait... how did you encounter her? I thought she was an event.

In Pokemon Platinum there comes a point in the game where you can go to Fullmoon island to get a feather from her to heal a boy from a nightmare. Once you get the feather she is now a roaming Pokemon in the world. It's Darkrai, her counterpart, that's an event.

 

[Latios]

This little story part is completely optional, but necessary to capture Cresselia. This is also to refrence the Darkrai even that's to come (if you ever got it -cry-) because before you get the feather the boy will say things in his never ending nightmare. Such as:

"...Dar... Dark... rai..."

Very obvious on what he's talking about. When you wake him up he thanks you for saving him from some shadow Pokemon.
