Also, I got SEVERE deja vu while I was typing that. Like, I KNEW I'd done that before. Yet a quick look back through the OOC confirms I've never typed anything like that.

This actually happens so much that I'm convinced I can somehow see the future, but never remember it.

Whenever I get a feeling of deja vu, I've figured out that it's usually something I've done in a dream. But that's just me.

Whenever I get a feeling of deja vu, I've figured out that it's usually something I've done in a dream. But that's just me.

Me too. The prevailing theory is that deja vu is caused by the mind screwing up, and mixing up short-term and long-term memory, so a memory that should be short-term is temporarily placed in long-term, making it feel like it happened long ago.

However, there's a difference between feeling like you've done it before, and being able to say the same exact words that everyone in a conversation says before they even say it like I've sometimes found myself doing.

Ah. Well, cool. I'll just stick with my dream theory. Because one time, I was in a dream making a post on RPnation about something I couldn't remember at the time. And then a few days to a week later, I got a deja vu feeling on an oddly specific post, and I just knew. :P

I'm just sitting here reading your theories about deja vu listening to what I think is the best pokemon music

This guy makes lots of really peaceful music based of the Pokemon background music. I love it. Just cant stop listening to this stuff, especially when I RP with Pokemon, it sets the mood.

Nothing's been happening over here. I assumed that you would be the one to post next. O.o

Here's how protect works here. The shield takes all or at lest most of the blow of the attack. The shield being strong enough the Pokemon can brush it off. Make the attack stronger and the Pokemon might get pushed back by it or something. If it's really strong it breaks through and hits the Pokemon at full force.

There really is no penalty for using it in succession. However it will drain the users stamina like it does to use any move. They get tired from battling, even if they don't get hit once. It only fails in the game to prevent spaming and useing up all your opponents PP
