This is actually very true.

However, if you read my post about Mega stones in the beginning. You can Mega Evolve without a trainer if your characters life depends on it.

Yeah, based on what I've heard, the site's been running slowly for everyone because it's been working on a ton of things in the background to catch up to the update, so once it's done with that things should speed up a lot.

@Latios Close Combat has 100% accuracy. Steelix couldn't have dodged it.

Actually it can be dodged. Most moves have %100 accuracy. That's the average for all attacks. The things that change that are the speed, accuracy buffs and evasion buffs. Moves won't miss often but they still will. Moves like Aura sphere are the exception. Any move that has --- accuracy in their info can never miss, unless it's a buff move like protect, then they have a chance of failing. 


I dont recal Close combat having a --- accuracy in its info but I'll edit my post anyways to fit what you've told me

Take a look at these, you can see that Aura Sphere has --- accuracy while Close combat has %100. This means that close combat can miss.

I'll still edit my post @Assailant but keep in mind about this. Just because a move has 0 accuracy dosen't mean it can't miss. It just means that it's unlikely.

Although Max hasn't been hit by any accuracy debuffs, so unless Steelix had an evasion buff, it wouldn't miss anyway.
