Luna pulled Chespin's pokéball off her belt and hummed happily as she followed behind JC to a more emptier area. "I'm excited to see how he does." She chipped as she stood across from JC holding up Chespin's pokéball while using her other hand to hold onto Manny.

"Come on out Chestnut!" She called out before tossing her Pokéball allowing for her Chespin to come out. The pokémon looked at JC before turning to Luna and calling out happily before turning to face JC again.

"This is Chestnut. He's my starter pokémon from when I was in Kalos." She said happily as she introduced him causing Chestnut to kind of wear a bit of a proud expression.

JC nods, "Hey, there Chesnut," She said before tossing out her out pokeball, "Charizard, come on out!"

In a burst of light, Charizard appeared landing on the ground between her and Chestnut. The Charizard gave a roar in anticipation of the battle.

"This is Charizard," She said as she didn't exactly have a nickname for him as, well she liked the name Charizard, "He's been with me for 5 years now all the way back when he was a charmander."

Charizard seems to smile slightly at the introduction as it flapped it's wings once with a bit of a growl.

"Anyways, I'll let you start this thing off," JC said.

Luna smiled at the appearence of her Charizard and give a slight giggle at his roar ans wing flap. "He looks amazing! I look forward to seeing how you battle against Chestnut, Charizard." Chestnut gave a firm nod at the dragon ready to fight him.

Luna nodded a thanks at JC. She was a bit worried about the obvious disadvantage she was at. Saying she really only had grass type pokémon that could fight, she was not in the best position against JC's one Charizard. But that doesn't mean they'll lose!

"Alright! Chestnut! Start off with a rollout!" The purple haired girl called out to Chestnut as the Chespin nodded and quickly rolled up into a ball before quickly zooming towards the Charizard.

JC Smirked at the move and called out for her counter, "Meet it head on!" JC said as Charizard flapped it's wings and with it's speed charged straight at the incoming Chespin. They grew closer and closer until the very last second as JC issued her move at such a close range, she knew chesnut would either have to veer off course, or take the attack.

"Wing attack!" JC called out at the last possible moment, causing Charizard to shift ever so slightly as it's wings charged with flying energy before it would slam into Chesnut. He could either take the hit, or miss his own.

Luna watched as the Charizard, much to her surprise, started flying straight at Chestnut rather than trying to dodge the attack, Feeling a bit uneasy saying normally someone wouldn't pull off a move so unusual unless they have a plan. "Pull away Chestnut! Pull away!" Chestnut, currently not being able to break out of his rollout attack, began quickly pulling himself off course as an attempt to dodge the Charizard's wing attack.

Sadly Chestnut did not pull away far enough to dodge the attack completely and still rammed into Charizard slightly. Still being hit with the wing attack and pushed back a bit losing about a forth of his health. Luna flinched a bit when Chestnut got hit but quickly shook her head. "Shake it off Chestnut! He the battle is just beginning!" She cheered wanting keep her Chespin's spirits up. Chestnut quickly shook himself off before nodding and beginning another rollout attack, this one seeming to be a bit faster than the last one.

Charizard took the attack but due to the off centered nature of it, didn't take the full force of it and was easily able to shake it off, despite the x4 weakness. The fire dragon shifted to a stronger position as it and JC seen the Chesnut begin it's second Rollout attack.

"Wait for it," JC said again as Charizard was ready for it's next command. The spinning ball that was Chesnut continued to get closer and closer and at the last moment just when it was about to strike, "Grab it!"

Charizard took the full second wave Rollout attack as it wrapped it's arms around Chenut begin pushed back a little. Once the small pokemon was in it's grasp JC let out her next comment.

"Flamethrower!" JC said and Charizard obeyed by blasting the pokemon in it's arms with a stream of fire.

Luna's eye's lit up a bit when Chestnut's 2nd rollout connected fully, however what happened next was quick to change her mood. Chestnut rolled out of its ball and immediately began to struggle not being about to pull out of the Charizard's grip around him. Seeing as there was no way Chestnut was going to be able to pull away in time and that he would be immediately knocked out by Flamethrower, the best she could hope was for at least one more attack to drain the dragon's health by a little bit more.

"Chestnut! Do rollout again before he knocks you out!" She quickly called out as the Chespin quickly nodded and preformed his 3rd rollout attack right in Charizard's arms just before the Flamethrower attack. When the attacked ended and smoke from the fire cleared, Chestnut would already be knocked out and unable to battle anymore.

Unfornatantly for her, the attack wasn't able to the moment it really before the KO. Charizard only took some chip damage. JC waited for Luna to recall the fainted pokemon before replying.

"So, wanna end it here, or keep going?" JC asked since they hadn't really stated if this would be a 1 on 1 fight or not. Charizard was still raring to go.

Luna was a bit disappointed that Chespin had fainted, but nonetheless she was still happy to be able to fight with Chestnut. She grabbed his pokeball and called for Chestnut to come back. "You were awesome Chestnut, but it's time to get you healed up." The knocked out Chespin was brought back to his pokeball as Luna looked back at JC. "I still do have two more pokemon remaining." She said slowly. She looked down at Manny, but before she could even say anything the small pokemon quickly shook his head signaling that he didn't want to fight Charizard.

Luna let out a chuckle at Manny before grabbing Eliza's pokeball. "If you wanna keep going, I do have one more pokemon, saying Manny doesn't seem to want to fight right now. Come out Eliza!" She tossed the Aduino's pokeball and out came Eliza. She let out a bit of a confused noise as she stared at JC and her Charizard. "Eliza, this is JC and her partner Charizard. JC this is Eliza. She's kinda like my caretaker if you wanna put it like that." Luna laughed as Eliza waved to JC and her Pokémon letting out a happy call.

While Eliza isn't really much of a fighter pokemon, she has definitely seen this Aduino's fair share of battles from when her parents used her. "Anyway! We're just using up some time and I thought this would be a good time to practice battling with each other Eliza! Only if you want to of couse." Saying Eliza wasn't inatially her pokemon, she was a bit reluctant to use her as Luna wasn't sure if her parent's Aduino would even listen to her. However, Eliza nodded at the idea causing a smile to appear on Luna's face.

"Alright! So if you and Charizard are up to it JC, I think round two will be Charizard against Eliza!' She cheered a bit happily.

JC watched as Luna recalled Chesnut and checked to see if Manny wanted to battle. She couldn't blaime the Pokemon response, seeing how her Charizard had a duel type advantage against it and a resistent to her stab attacks. When Eliza was called out and had her talk with Luna about rather to battle or not, JC gave Eliza a small wave during the introduction.

Audino looked like it had more expierence than the Chespin, so this would be interesting. She knew they had a knack for having good HP, but she was up for the challenge.

"Allright Charizard, let's go," JC said once that it was for certain the battle would keep going. This time, she'd take on a bit more of an offensive strategy, "Slash!"

Charizard nods as it flaps it's wings to take to the air and dashed straight towards the Audino. When it was in range it lashed out with it's claws for a power slash attack.

Koranna was currently flying over the Kanto region little did she know that she was flying over pallet town. Koranna wasn’t very wise to know this would be town in which her adventure would begin. Koranna was laying on her back as Ace flew over the small town she was currently playing with a yo-yo that she had since she was a kid. She looked over to the side just enough to see the Pokemon battle taking place. “Whoa look their Ace! It’s a Pokemon battle. I-Is that a charizard?! That’s so cool! C’mon let’s go check it out Ace.”

Ace flew Koranna down by Pokemon battle Ace dropped off Koranna and stood beside her as she watched the Pokemon battle. Koranna was currently wearing a white long sleeve shirt that had an outline of pink at her wrist. The long sleeve shirt had a pink bow on the back of the outfit that matched the tiny pink bows on her white shoes. She wore black leggings that had red ribbon over the top of her leggings that went around to her bosom where her bag was attached. Her bag currently was holding 3 potions along with 3 revives one for each of Pokemon if she ever desperately needed them. Lastly what was in her bag was the three pokeballs with one of them being empty and the other holding Rainfell along with Fluffy.

Koranna was watching the battle with such amazement in her pure green eyes she couldn’t help but cheer for the Charizard which made her very noticeable that she was there. When Koranna called out Charizard’s name Ace did it’s little call in response to Koranna speaking. “Aww are you cheering too Ace? Your so cute!” Koranna smiles as she hugged Ace, Ace responded by wrapping her wings around her and pecking her head playfully.

Luna nodded excitedly and watched as JC quickly called out her Charizard's next move. Knowing that Eliza was a bit slow on her feet Luna already knew that dodging was out of the question saying how fast Charizard was going. "Eliza! Block it then use Hyper Beam!" Eliza responded quickly and put her arms out in front of her to shield her face and upper body from the slash attack. While she got damaged a bit, it was far from what could've happened.

Eliza pushed Charizard off of her and pulled back far enough to be out of reach of Charizard but close enough to get a fairly accurate aim as opening her mouth widely before shooting out a bright and powerful yellow beam out her mouth that quickly made its way over to Charizard.

Issac was still waiting for the lab to open up when another black haired teen cane up to him and asked if he could sit next to him. “Not at all!” He answered with a smile and quickly looked around to see if he could figure out where Shade was in relation to him, and eventually found that the Zoroark was laying next to his bag to the right of him. “Just uh... don’t sit to the right of me, you wouldn’t want to to sit on a Zoroark who’s trying to people watch.” And on cue the illusion fox seemed to fade into existence, almost as if reality was being warped in some way. Shade then took one look at the young researcher, and then to the Absol next to him, and vanished in the same fashion in which he appeared. “As for the heat, I think it’s pretty cool out today. Not that means much coming from a guy who lives in a desert.”

JC's brain recignized the other trainer who had come up to watch their battle but it was put in the back of her mind as in the forefront she was entirely focused on the battle at hand. She watched as the Audino took the slash in it's more defensive pose before launching a hyper beam at Charizard. She knew that Charizard wouldn't be able to fully dodge that attack.

"Get on the ground and brace for impact!" JC had enough time to say as Charizard dropped to the ground allowing gravity to assist with it's maneuver. As it was more in a 'laid down' position with it's upper body on the ground with it's legs curled slight it used it's wings to shield it's own ducked head as the hyperbeam hit. It didn't take the full frontal assault of it thanks to going from flying to being on the ground but it did take some damage and it was starting to show.

Once the move finished, JC knew now was the time to act while Eliza needed to recharge.

"Charge it with Flamethrower, then use Slash!" JC commanded as Charizard used it's legs and wings to go from it's hunkered down position and dash straight towards the Audino, letting loose a stream of fire towards it's opponent as it closed in. Once it was close enough it launched a slash attack.

Drew watched the battle unfold and took notes.
"Ralts." Tess said in dismay.
"I know we are under prepared for this." Drew said as he watched them. He sat down and Tess crawled into his lap for a better view.
As he watched them he couldn't help what was going on that was keeping the scientists busy. He looked over at the door and thought about just sneaking into a window to find out.
"Ralts." Tess said.
"I was only thinking it." He said

Pallet town. Despite only living a few miles away, Esme had never ventured this way. There wasn’t much to it, other than the lab that sends out Kantos waves of new trainers. It was hard for her to believe at her age she was a “new trainer”, at least out in the world she was. She also accepted she had a lot to learn, and so she tried to arrive with an open mind.

Trainers at different levels were already gathering outside the lab when Esme walked up, her violet gaze flickering around as unfamiliar faces littered Samuel Oaks facilities yard. Her ash locks slightly kicked up as the gusts from a distant Charizards wings rustled the trees — she was accustomed to the random battles, in fact it was her life for the last several years.

“I suppose any spot will do,” she lowered herself to the grass and folded her arms behind her head, legs slightly bent ahead of her. She wasn’t sure how long until someone indicated they could all proceed inside, but honestly she had nothing better to do today, and didn’t seem to mind the wait.

Luna heard the calls and cheering of someone and quickly looked back to see another trainer and pokémon watching. She smiled a bit before quickly turning back to the battle at hand.

After the attack was done Eliza panted a bit being exhausted from the attack. "Try your best to block the attack, then pull away till you can use hyper beam again!" The Aduino nodded and quickly got back into it's defensive position using her arms to cover her face from the stream of fire and then the slashes that quickly followed after as her health began to chip away fairly quickly.

Luna already knew she was taking a dangerous route by constantly using hyper beam, but saying that was her only offensive move and none of her other moves really helped in this situation, this was all she could really do. Eliza may be a bit of a tank but she can only block so many attacks before getting tired. The Aduino did have some sort of plan in her own mind though.

Eliza quickly pulled back out of Charizard's reach and even further back than that to add a whole lot of room between the two pokémon. She was rested up enough to fire her attack again, but didn't want to look predictable. She contuined to pant as a means to still look vulnerable wanting for Charizard to make his way over to her before firing the attack.

JC seen as Eliza took some distance between the two of them. JC was just about to fire her next attack when she caught something in the corner of her eye.

"Seems like that's enough for now," JC said recalling Charizard back to it's pokeball and returning it to her belt, she indicated with her head back towards the Lab, "Seems they're ready for us."

Indeed it seemed so as just before JC recalled her Charizard, two police officers exited the Lab and had a little chat with the assistant outside, those in ear shot would hear them say that things were taken care of. After the two police left the Lab assistant looked to the people there with a nod.

"Thanks, for waiting so patiently," he said to them, "Now, for everyone here to sign up for the Kanto League, please come on in."

The Lab Assistent headed back into the Lab followed by those in the crowd who were there for just that.

CHARACTER: Silas | LOCATION: Pallet Town | INTERACTIONS: Issac ( Rapror Augustine Rapror Augustine )

"A people watching Zoroark, huh? Well far be it for me to hinder someone's enjoyment." He commented, a look of relief and mild amusement flashing across Silas' face. He took a breath of fresh air as he took a seat on the other's left side, wiping at his forehead. Allowing himself a brief reprieve from the heat, the boy leaned back against the tree and pulled out a water bottle, taking a generous sip. While closing the bottle, he spared the trainer an unimpressed yet good-natured glance, a brow raised. "If you call this 'cool', I don't want to imagine what you would consider hot." Came the researcher's comment. "I imagine some interesting Pokemon live in the desert, though."

As Absol walked around the tree sniffing the area (while promptly and respectfully walking around the relaxing Zoroark), Silas glanced up towards the lab. Noticing people were heading inside, he reached over and lightly tapped the other male's shoulder. "Looks like they're headed inside. Sounds like they're doing league sign-ups, if that's something you're interested in." He said, dropping his hands in his lap. His lips suddenly pursed and he let out a huff. "Personally, I'm just here for a dex update but I really don't want to get roped into the league. Competition isn't really my thing..."

He'd pause, his eyes suddenly sparkling. "Ah, wait! Could I possibly ask one more thing of you?" Frantically, Silas started going through his bag before pulled out the aforementioned Pokedex. "If you're going inside, would you mind taking this with you? I'm sure the professor would already know what to do with it. I just need Kanto's regional information updated on it. I'll anything you would like in return, I promise!"

Luna and Eliza braced for Charizard's attack before watching JC call him back into his pokéball. Luna looked around confused before look at the front of the lab seeing the cops leave the lab and the assistant finally allowing people in.

"Looks like the are!" She chirped as she called Eliza back to her pokéball after praising her. She looked back to JC with a smile. "Shall we head over then?" She asked while clipping her pokéballs to her belt before patting Manny.

Esme took another good long minute to make a shape out of a cloud rolling by, before pushing herself back off the grass, and onto her feet. She slid her slender hands into the back pockets of her blue paper waist pants, following the others into the lab with a neutral expression. “No problem at all,” she murmured to the assistant, following behind them specifically.

She wondered if the others would be receiving starters, and wasn’t sure if she was interested. She had a specific team in the making, and didn’t quite know who was next in line for slot four. She just wanted a run down on the league policies, and then she’d head right for Brock, as soon as possible.

Drew and Tess looked at each other as they wondered why the police where there.
Drew stood up and Tess wrapped her arms around his neck before he started to walk into the lab. He smiled at the lab assistant and other trainers before signing up.

Tap, tap, tap...

Letting out a gentle hum, the young adult's light blue eyes were locked onto the small, rich mauve-coloured device attached to her wrist. Fingers occasionally shifting to adjust the straps on the Pokétch, her feet moved in a steady pace, despite the few stops that she was forced to make when her eyebrows would furrow, followed by the tips of her fingers somewhat aggressively colliding with the screen. "What a pain..." Lips pursing into a pout, she shook her head gently, casting one final look to the screen.

Displayed on the screen was a picture of four people; one older man and one older woman, and in between them being two younger kids; one around eleven, and the other around fifteen. Making her original expression change, she felt the corners of her lips quirk up into a smile when she spotted the photo. Right. She was doing this for them. They'd be proud of her by the end of all this, so she had to do her best!-

"Chim!"

Distracting her from her train of thoughts was the content chanting right into her ear, causing for the girl to let out a playful groan, throwing her head back, her eyes finding where the source of noise came from. On her shoulder was a Chimchar, who was standing proudly whilst chanting its name several times. "Athena, shut up." Unable to resist a snort, her hand playfully went to pull the Pokemon's ears, causing for it to instead respond with a whine before staying quiet; a mischievous smile plastered on the Fire Type's face before it continued to chant.

The trainer rolled her eyes, sticking her tongue out playfully at the Pokemon- to which it repeated back at her. "Stupid," she teased, watching as the Pokemon put its hand out, as if expecting something. In return, she had met the small Pokemon hand with a high five, causing for her to chuckle as the Chimchar got louder and more excited, chanting and letting out hoots louder. Reaching into her back briefly, she had brought out a Poffen, the monkey-like Pokemon trying to snatch it from her hands, to which the trainer tutted at. "Athene, don't be so greedy, dumb. Take your time eating or you might faint," she joked, the Chimchar taking the treat quickly and beginning to eat it.

"Now... this is Pallet Town?"

Glancing up in front of her, she spotted the town in front of her, cocking her head to the side curiously. "Quite a lot'a people, huh? At least we can make new friends," she grinned, advancing into the town, with a few looks to the people who were already there.

It took her, /luckily/, just a short amount of time to find the laboratory that her uncle had told her about. From what she remembered, she would have to go inside there. No problem.

Head high, the trainer had entered the lab, looking around curiously to who was there and simply the equipment dotting around the lab.

JC nods to Luna as she heads back over to the Lab entrance and enters with everyone else. She was excited to get signed up for the League and curious if they'd be able to get a little bit more information on what had held them up.

Jagson Jagson norway norway assholewithfeelings assholewithfeelings

When everyone entered the Lab they'd see that there was a recent Pokemon battle that happened in there. A few scorch marks here and there on the wall. What they may also see was in the back wall was what looked to be a mural of some kind that looked rather nicely done. However, it was obviously some graffiti someone made. In the corner of the room, they may spot a teen with red hair and a black outfit on, a few patches of paint were seen on her clothes as it was possible she was the one who made the mural.

Prof. Oak was in there ofcourse, as he addressed those in the room.

"Hello everyone, and welcome to Kanto," He said cheerfully, "For those of you who don't know, my name is Professor Oak. Now I'm sure that you're all waiting to get started so let's get to it then. For those of you who have completed in a league before, please head over to there and swipe your trainer card to register for the Indigo League. Ofcourse, if you're also here for a Kanto starter they'll be given out "

Prof. Oak pointed over to a spot on the wall where you could see a card reader attached to it.

"For everyone else," The Professor went on, "We have a forum that you will need to fill out on one of those terminals over there." The professor indicated a set of 5 terminals along one of the walls, "For those who want a Kanto Starter that will also be where you indicate if you're here for one, as there's only 1 allowed per trainer. It's the best way to keep track of who's all had one. Once you've filled that out, proceed to that area over there," he pointed to a spot where a machine with a touch screen and camera was set up and a small slot on the side, "To sign in with your new Trainer ID and get your picture taken to get your new Trainer Card. Your trainer card is very important and you'll need it to register at a gym in order to challenge the leader for their Badge. Once that's done, head on over to there if you've decided to get a Kanto Starter. Which we have Bulbasuar, Charmander, and Squirtle for you to choose from. Those only here for that may head over there from the terminal."

He nods concluding his speech before one of his assistance walked over to him and whisper's something in his ear. He chuckles.

"Oh that's right," He said as he couldn't believe he forgot, "We also are giving out Pokedex for new trainer's as well. You'll can get one where I'll be standing over there." He indicated the table where the starters would be located. There seemed to be another table right next to it as a slot on it opened and a Pokedex came up through the opening, "If you just need your pokedex updated, you can also get that done over there as well."

Esme was rather composed until the professor mentioned taking pictures, at that she sighed. Why hadn’t she considered the possibility of a picture for her new trainer ID? Subconsciously fixing her hair over to one side, she thanked the professor for his information, guided herself over to one of the terminals, where she keyed in her basic information before posing half heartedly, and offering a small smile for the camera. After the click! She received her printed card.

“It’ll have to do,” she lightly rolled her eyes, before leaving the terminals and heading back over to the dispersing group. Everyone was doing something of their own, signing up for the league or acquiring their cards as well, some were considering new starter Pokémon options. Cute as they were, Esme would pass on the starters. She simply didn’t find them conducive for their team. As she was thinking this, an assistant inquired “are you not interested in acquiring a new partner Pokémon?”

“I have one, thank you,” she offered softly, she could practically hear her greninja snickering at the thought of her replacing him with another Pokémon. They were a package deal, him and her. “I don’t think it would be wise to take one, just to take one.”

“Well said,” the individual responded, and resumed their work.

After all, someone else deserved a chance. No?
