Well, I'm not sure what the challenge is, but maybe we can team up? If not, I'm sure just sticking around would be great training for your Pokemon to watch mine in action, don't you think?"
"Yeah that is true, just watching your team would be some help, though I don't think there would a problem with us teaming up challenge wise," Andy adds.
Reina and Andy would continue on their way to Olivine, all the while Andy would try having Ruby and Aqua deal the occasional Zubat. Though the poison types still pose a problem, Andy is able to keep the two fairies patched up. Having Swampert around also helped alot so they wouldn't be battling alone.
Once they arrive in Olivine the first stop is the city's Cafe where he orders himself a salad with chicken strips on it along with some croutons, and almonds. For the pokemon, it's some sweet poffins for all of them. "Thanks for the treat Reina" he smiles gratefully after placing his order. Once the food arrives, he feeds the two babies first, breaking their poffins into bite-sized pieces that he then feeds to them one at a time. Andy eats his food after feeding the pokemon thoroughly enjoying his healthy option.
With lunch done its time to ascend the tower, the lighthouse not too far off in the distance as Reina asks if Andy is ready.
"Yeah, let's go Reina," he says, though not really sure if he is really going to make much impact against the trainers inside. Firstly, both would register with an attendant, Andy letting him know they are here to partake in the Glitter Lighthouse Challenge.

With registration now done its off to the challenge itself. Reina would have a little break to get into some black training gear then they spot the starting two trainers, one clearly ready for battle while the other is a bit more reserved.
"Ready Andy?" comes Reinas voice
Andy would look to Aqua, Ruby and Tesla who give little nods at him. "Yeah , we are ready " he says having the sheep out first to assist Reina's bulbasuar.
"Alright let's try a thundershock on the indeedee" he nods the sheep would bleat before trying to zap the psychic mon, more trying to hurriedly deal with bulbasuar's type disadvantage.

Except that idea quickly gets shot down by the Disarming Voice sound wave. At least the psybeam that followed would seem to be avoided by Flora followed by flora's own toxic..
From the Gulpin's side it let's out a big yawn to try and have the sheep counting itself. "Tesla, please use a cotton spore on the bubble itself " Andy calls out, the spores more meant to weigh that bubble down before it got to him, which only barely worked due to the distance between them for now.
"Okay now a thundershock on the Indeedee again, hoping to at least get some damage on the psychic type and perhaps overtax the mon this time.

Location: S.S. Marine - Olivine City
After hearing a series of clops, Rick's brows furrowed. He was betting on the other Rapidash to get through the Inferno. That was the whole point of it. He did not expect her trainer tagging along though. For safety reasons, the flames weren't nearly as hot as they could be, but they were hot enough to singe a human trying to get in. When Theo dismounted and started walking towards him with an angry display, Rick put his hands behind his back and straightened his posture. The trainer went on to talk about his life and all he's been through, and how Rick knew nothing about him, at one point even grabbing Rick's shirt, which triggered Iris, although Rick gestured her to stay out while he simply stood there listening. Until the trainer eventually calmed down and let go of Rick's shirt and apologized. "No, no, don't apologize." Rick said, waving nonchalantly. "Clearly you went through a lot in your life already. Although... that gives me more of a reason to expect more. 'Cause aside from my parents being still alive, I went through all that same stuff." Rick rubbed his shirt where Theo had grabbed him. "Whatever happened to your family, I doubt was in your control. What happens to your pokémon though, is fully on you." He told him, crossing his arms before continuing. "That's the gripe I have with trainers who give up too early. Right now this is just a game. You can make all the mistakes you want. Next time it might be serious. So if you don't wanna suffer anymore losses than you already did, I suggest you step up and push through. The fact that I had to tease you in order to see some fire is a little bit concerning."
As he finished talking, Rick caught a glimpse of the other Rapidash rearing up as she prepared to charge at Iris. He snagged the envelope out of her mouth and jumped onto her, as the mare splayed her legs and braced for impact. Iris's hooves skidded through the floor as the Rapidash pushed her out of the Inferno, until they eventually came to a halt once her hooves gained traction. "Now we're talking!" Iris briefly stood on her hind legs and proceeded to lock Eos's neck and forelegs with her own, pinning her to the floor. While they were at it, since Iris was no longer keeping the Inferno going, the Surskit's Hydro Pump found its way through the flames, sniping Rick in the face and knocking him off his mount and onto the ground. "Oof... head-shot!" He exclaimed. "And people still complain about Hydro Pump being inaccurate." He said, wiping his face before realizing the envelope wasn't in his hand anymore. "Oh shit!" He quickly got back onto his feet and sprinted after the envelope. He jumped off the deck and stretched out to grab it. "Iris! Fetch!" He shouted, throwing the envelope in the air towards the deck while he fell.
Upon hearing her trainer's call, Iris released Eos from the hold, shoving her back with her front hooves and turning around to start running. She saw the envelope flying high above her head and past her, but instead of going for it, she set her priorities and went after Rick instead. She quickly jumped to the lower floor and stretched out to nab Rick by the foot, swinging him back into the deck, before she herself ended up falling into the water instead due to her overshooting. Rick stood up and leaned on the rails to look down at Iris. "Ya know I wouldn't have jumped if I didn't know the ocean was there!" He said. Fortunately this time it was coastal water, so she simply stood up and shook her body. "The envelope?" Rick asked, to which Iris groaned with widened eyes. She did a high jump back into the top deck and started looking around for the envelope. She did another jump to get a higher view, where she spotted the envelope sitting on the mast's platform.

The thick purple cloud exhaled by the Gulpin should have easily engulfed the sheep, however, Flora would absorb the noxious gas for Tesla, Andy giving a nod to both Reina and Flora, "Thanks for that," The Gulpin isn't done yet however as it uses Amnesia followed by Andy having Tesla use a thunder wave followed by a tackle." Hopefully, that would prevent him from getting an attack or two off while Reina handles the Indeedee" a thought added on by Reina's comment that she trusts him to handle the Gulpin.

That paralysis as well as the petal dance that left the indeedee knocked out when the move ended led to the Gulpin trainers' surrender, not sporting but Andy understood why one would do that, not wanting to see the gulpin hurt badly. With that Andy Reina move on to the next floor where two more trainers would be set up, both bird specialists.
"Looks like you're up again Tesla, you ready?" the sheep gives a happy nod and bleat before looking to Reina and completing her offered high five Reina sending out her Nidorina to meet the 2 birds. "Okay Tesla use Thundershock on the Swablu please". The little jolt does do a good amount of damage however, the trainer doesn't appear to be bothered.
"Mist Swablu" he calls to his bird as it whips up what is essentially a fog around the whole area obscuring everyone's vision, that could be a problem for Pidgeotto but he was going for a delay tatic, not direct destruction in this case.

"Well that isn't exactly good" Andy laments a bit at not being to see thanks to the mist. That would be rather annoying if Reina didn't have Nidorina go into the mist and start acting like a purple beacon after its poison sting attack missed. The purple tail did give Tesla something to aim at at least, the gust not bothering Tesla at all.
"Andy, go for a Thundershock, I'll distract them!" came Reinas idea, Nidorina still swinging that tail wildly as it looks to find purchase on either bird. Meanwhile, the distraction part of the plan worked out as the Swabluis told to use a round on her, not wanting to get too close to that tail.
"If you say so," concerned about hitting Sapphire, though he does tell the mareep to use the move, "Aim for the purple tail" now just hoping Nidorina wouldn't be struck by that on accident

“Huh, what was that?”
For a moment, Esther was sure she’d heard something completely out of left field. He’d fallen for who now? Pardon?No, she didn’t even have time to follow that line of thought. Whatever was happening right in front of her had evolved from a playful competition to something far more…heated. Esther was woefully, uncomfortably out of her depth. She had just wanted to earn some cash, not to learn about the traumatic circumstances of her acquaintance(?)’s life. What was she even to do with such heavy information? She couldn’t just pretend like she hadn’t heard it…right? This was gonna be awkward…
Ugh, she’d deal with that mess later! In their scuffle, the envelope, the prize, had taken to the wind and Rick had gone overboard. Heavy subject matter aside, Theo had provided just the opportunity Esther needed and she wasn’t about to let it slip away.
”Susu… »Quick Attack»…”
Exhausted, but spurred on by the prospect of victory, the Pond Skater Pokémon shot forward in a cloak of white light and quickly snagged the packet of money. The Oblivian’s lips pressed into a line and her Pokémon returned with the packet, but forcing a smile, she rewarded her pokemon with a few scratches and then returned her.

Andy and Mareep aren't exactly in agreeance with doing this again either, both giving Sapphire apologetic looks. Not only does the friendly fire hit but the disarming voice from Swablu has no problem impacting the sheep as well.
Andy only sighs as Reina gives her explanation to him and the Nidorina, not annoyed at her, just not wanting to try something that reckless again. But with Nidorina reluctantly dashing back into the fog again with another use of poison tail, they didn't really have too much of a choice.
"Same as before, just aim to the right of the purple tail now" he says to the sheep who also rather reluctantly would do so. Thankfully this time the cotton bird is zapped by the thundershock and left fainted leaving an annoyed Pidgeotto to deal with.

The sheep isn't too badly hurt from that specific attack, but the battles were wearing on the electric type. The paralysis does make the Omanyte a bit slower but the 2nd go round of rollot would still hit the sheep who is able to strike back with a 2nd use of thundershock. However, he clearly isn't taking the 3rd rollout should the fossil pokemon target Tesla again.
The swift from Nidorina would hit both opponents doing very little to Omanyte as the rollout sorta reflects them away.

The paralysis does make the Omanyte a bit slower but the 2nd go round of rollot would still hit the sheep who is able to strike back with a 2nd use of thundershock. However, he clearly isn't taking the 3rd rollout should the fossil pokemon target Tesla again.
The swift from Nidorina would hit both opponents doing very little to Omanyte as the rollout sorta reflects them away.

Team: Azurill (Aquamarine), Mareep(Tesla), Cleffa (Ruby)
"Nidorina, let's stop that Omanyte, Skull Bash!"
The skull bash does halt the Omanyte as well as get it to come out of its shell. At this Andy jumps on the opportunity, "Tesla use a thundershock on the Omanyte now!" the ensuing zap would drop the Fossil pokemon, "Okay now try a thundershock on the ledain please" he is very much tired but can get a thundershock out, whether that would hit is another story, Andy just trying to hurry this along for the sake of time and to give the poor sheep a well needed and deserved break.

At least that battle was now over, and honestly so was Tesla's participation in this challenge for now, he was simply way too tired. "Hey, have you considered switching Tesla? He's amazing but we have two battles left before we can take a break."
"I mean after that , he is pretty much done for the rest of this ascent, he needs a break." Andy nods switching the sheep for Ruby, though since she is just a baby, it wouldn't take much to really hurt the pokemon. "Just do your best okay Ruby?" he says gently to the little star shape. The two then run into more trainers with a Buizel and a Simisear, Reina having swapped Nidorina for her Swampert.
"We were getting bored waiting here. I hope y'all can give us a good battle." says a green haired girl while the other mentions something about the WCS. The sight of the Cleffa might have made this girl a bit cocky. Andy just hopes he can be useful in this now official WCS battle thanks to the Rotom drone hovering above.
