No, there are four pre-picked starters. The parcel contains four boxes, one blue, one red, one green, one pink. Your characters won't know the contents of the box until they open them, but each character gets to pick one color.

A note about your Pokémon - I can play them for you if you so wish me to. I won’t require you to play them if you’d rather keep interactions between trainer and Pokémon natural.

Noivian I had Nai throw his pokeball but left it open as to what the Pokemon is since I honestly have no idea. I hope I didn't jump the gun! If I did, I can edit/erase if need be. Or I suppose you could edit my post to write in what Pokemon was in the green box? Up to you how you want to reveal!
