Fandom Pokemon: a region divided

Eagershadow3

Heretic

P0eGK.jpg

Orlea, a diverse region with snowy mountain ranges, raging lakes, and quiet forests. Spread out across the region there are cities, and small towns that make up the population of Orlea (I will create a map later). Orlea has always been known to be a beutiful, and peaceful reagion, but then the Twisted Company shows up. They took advantage of the regions peacefulness and terrorized it's people for their own personal gain. They built factories that destroyed pokemons natural habitat, and it is slowly killing the beauty of Orlea. It got so bad that the Orlea gyms were shut down.

And then the Relics of Hope rose up. A group of brave trainers who are ready to take on the Twisted Company, and take back Orlea. This is your story, no matter what side you choose you will be important. Whatever happens will shape Orlea, and even the world.

The Relics of Hope headquarters. A large silver building that used to house the Orlea league, but now it's filled with the bravest trainers who are ready to fight the Twisted Company, and free Orlea. The highest ranking trainers are the founders, the Chamion, Elite four, and a powerful trainer are the only members. Although people usually forget about the trainer. That trainer is Glenn, who is currently walking around outside the headquarters. Other members were going about their business. Glenn wasn't really doing anything. No sightings of Twisted Company members have happend, and everybody's on standby. He let out a long sigh as he looked out at the beutiful city.

"Hmm, so this is Raisome," Kris, who was standing right outside the entrance of the city and looking up at the towering buildings, said in an eager voice. Without further ado, she walked onward and into the city, a slight bounce in her step. Due to her small height, she managed to expertly weave her way around the crowds and moved quickly through the streets. After some time of just wandering around aimlessly and taking in what she could, Kris found an empty bench to rest her feet while she could take the time to look through a map of the city. Almost immediately after she opened the map, her eyes were drawn to the very center of the city where a large building was. A little tidbit of information beside the image of the building stated that it was the home of the Pokémon League.

"I wonder if I would have been able to at least challenge the League if everything was the same as before," the ex-trainer quietly spoke to herself with a wistful tone. Though she was far from a competent Pokémon trainer, Kris still liked to think that maybe, just maybe, she could have been something good, or even great. Her parents were certainly expecting that out of her, more like demanding for it really. When the Twisted Company began ruining the region and the gyms started to close, Kris found herself stuck between a rock and a hard place. Her journey was now pointless since she could no longer become a powerful trainer with her Pokémon, but at the same time, she didn't want to return home to her parents. So instead, Kris had told her parents that she wanted to continue her travels with her Pokémon despite what was going on and, without waiting for a reply, she kept on walking, just wandering the region without any sort of purpose.

"This city never ceases to amaze me," Rory excitedly exclaimed, while walking around the edge of the city, as he did on many mornings. Though he had already been in Raisome for three months, he always managed to find something new that excited him, and this day was no different. He was doing rounds around the city, to insure that no members of the Twisted Company had come to disrupt the peace, and he had stumbled upon a part of the forest that he had

never encountered before. Though to most this may have been unimportant, Rory was eager to see what new Pokemon may have been in this part of

the woods. "Even if there aren't any Pokemon," he thought, admiring the beauty of the massive trees, and taking in the forest air, "At least i still

have this incredible view!"

After searching and finding very little, barring some bug types that he had seen in his days in Kanto and Johto, he eventually felt it was best

to head back into the city. Before he left, however, he decided to do one more quick check for any intruders in the area. "Go Jade," he said

quietly, as he released Crobat from its Pokeball "Fly around and see if anyone is in the area, hurry back if you see

anything." With that, The Crobat was off, rocketing up into the trees, to insure that nothing disturbed the city. At first glance, it seemed

nothing was amiss, but the Pokemon continued to fly at an astounding speed, insuring no enemies had come to disturb the peace.

Matt walked out of a building with a bag full of random things, some food, some souvenirs, a business card... Oddly a recruitment sheet for the Twisted company. Matt gently placed it in a recycle bin and looked around. "Man, these guys sure make some good products, and the location... WOW... What a steal!" He smiled, he looked up in the sky and saw a few bird pokemon trying to dodge the smoke and smog of the nearby factories, "oh..." He suddenly realized, "it probably WAS a steal..." He nodded and began to make his retreat from the shop.

On his way out, Goliath forced himself out of his pokeball and beeped excitedly to Matt. Matt had spent time learning how bugs communicate on his journey, but pretty much only got half of what his Heracross was saying, " Yea... I guess we can check out the pokemon league here..." He said, trying to pick up on what his pokemon had just said, "but we have a while to go, its in the center of the city, and we aren't even AT the city," Matt explained, suddenly Shen and Zed forced themselves out and clicked and whistled at Matt. Matt shrugged, "I don't even think there is a pokemon league anymore, I think the only battles we will be getting is from random trainers who are just wandering around," Matt explained to Shen and Zed, "but we are still going to check." Matt assured to a disappointed Goliath. His other pokemon all forced themselves out and made a cacophony of noises, very loud noises. Matt facepalmed, "FINEFINEFINE!" He holding his hands out, "we are going to the city, and challenging every person we see on the way... Compromise.... Any questions?" Matt sighed, Charles hissed something and Matt recalled them all back to the pokeballs. He laughed, and made his way to the city.

Kris jumped when something in the pockets of her utility belt began to wiggle around. She opened the flaps and saw that her Poké Balls jiggling around rather restlessly. Or at least two out of the three of them were. The third one was just casually swaying back and forth.

"I suppose you guys want to see the city too," Kris whispered, letting out a small laugh at her Pokémon's antics. Still, she was hesitant in letting them out. With them being in the largest city of Orlea, there was bound to be some trouble from the Twisted Company. Kris didn't want to subject her companions to such dangers, but at the same time, she didn't want to keep them cooped up in their portable homes. After thinking over her choices for a few moments, weighing pros and cons against each other, Kris eventually decided to let all three of her Pokémon out. Once they were released, they waited patiently by her feet in a semi-circle for further instructions from their trainer.

"Alright, you guys can run around for a while, but only where in this area where I can clearly see you okay?" Her three Pokémon gave their own sounds of understanding before shooting off and doing their own thing. Her Beldum and Dratini, named Medabot and Dragul respectively, were chasing and playing with each other in the clearing right in front of Kris. On the other hand, her Ralts, named Astra, just climbed up onto Kris's lap and snuggled into the young girl's embrace as she watched her other two teammates with her.

Walking through the vast city, Jordan glared at his text messages in immense shock. Such a massive bounty, yet such an impossible tax had been offered to him by someone using a blocked number. The prize money would have been enormous, 250,000$ to be exact. However, the entire mission seemed sketchy. "Destroy the large silver building in the heart of the city, then meet me for your prize money at Ullok mountain". Jordan may have been new to Orlea, but he was no fool. He knew two things: that whoever these people were, there would be a good chance that they were scamming him, but also that anyway who could have somehow got his number meant business. Jordan didn't care about the consequences, after all, he was a citizen of Sinnoh, Orlea meant nothing to him. However, what deterred him from immediately accepting this job other than the sketchiness was the lingering question of why? Why would someone need him to destroy a random building?

Jordan knew he should either accept or decline the job before they found someone else to do it, but he needed for intel on what he was doing and why before he could come to any sort of conclusion. For this reason, he would ignore the strange text for now. He would travel around Orlea, earning moneu, and challenging strong trainers before his return to Sinnoh. He walked around the city, and decided to seek out a Pokemon battle.

Matt finally made it into the city after a few more chats with his pokemon, he walked through the gates and saw the enormous building in the center, Goliath was the first to come out and beeped proudly and began to tug at Matt's coat. Matt laughed, "hold on there slugger, we will get there," he smiled, the two of them walked down the city streets, examining shops and restaurants, Golaith beeped impatiently as Matt sat at the square and looked at the nice fountain, he looked back at Goliath and sighed. They got up and began to walk to the tower.

As he walked back from the woods towards headquarters, Crobat returned to Rory. "Was anything wrong?" Rory asked, already knowing the answer,

but he needed to be sure. He spoke calmly, noticing Jade remained calm "So nothing then, that's a relief." As he attempted to call Jade

back to the Pokeball, he realized that he seemed to object. "Guessing you'd like to head back out of the ball huh? Well I guess you

earned it."

Rory returned to the city, heading back towards the large silver building in the center of town that the Relics of Hope called their

headquarters. As he walked, he realized that Jade seemed to want to stay out, likely because once at headquarters he would

likely be returned to the Pokeball. However, the two continued to head back towards headquarters.

As they approached the base, Jade began to express

the desire to go back into out into the city in the only way he could, by rocketing off away from the base.

"What are you doing?!" Rory yelled, shocked that his friend would take off so suddenly and without warning, as he began to chase him towards town.

After a few minutes of relaxing, the group decided to continue on with their tour and exploration of Raisome. Kris held Astra against her chest while Dragul had loosely wrapped himself around her neck like a scarf, with his head resting on top of her own, and Medabot lazily drifted close by her side at her shoulder height. The young trainer was reluctant to let her friends roam freely for all to see, but after they refused the idea of going back into their Poké Balls, Kris had relented and allowed them to stay outside for a while longer. On the condition that they stayed close by of course.

As they were making their way through the city, Astra and Dragul suddenly perked up and their heads swiveled to the side as if waiting for something to happen. For Astra, she had psychically sensed a powerful Pokémon zipping through the streets near them whereas Dragul had heard something fast cutting into the air with his incredible hearing. Medabot and Kris just slowed to a stop and turned towards the direction their companions were looking towards. Not a moment too soon, the group saw a bat-like creature of purple speed on by on the other side of the street and a man chasing after said creature.

"Ah, it's a Crobat," Kris muttered absentmindedly in observation. She and her Pokémon just stayed where they were, watching the man chase the Crobat around.

After running and screaming after his Pokemon for what felt like hours, even though in reality it was closer to twenty minutes, Rory noticed

Jade come to a sudden stop. Breathing heavily, he still managed to get out the words "Jade, return," as he called the rambunctious Pokemon back

into its ball. Trying desperately to catch his breath, he looked around at where Jade had led him to. He noticed nothing special, just a street

in the town. In fact, he and Jade had been here before, around the time they arrived in Raisome. He continued to look for what may have set Jade off,

it was just the same shops, restaurants, and Pokemon center that had always been there.

While at first he noticed nothing out of the ordinary, upon closer inspection, he realized two things that stood out to him. The first was an

tall man walking down the street, staring at his phone. While this at first seemed like nothing out of the ordinary, the man definitely stood out

in the crowd, with his large, curly hair and his height, he definitly stood out. And the second was a child on the other side of the street. While

nothing unusual, this child had with her three Pokemon. The blue serpent-like creature stood out the most, as it was a pokemon he had

only seen one other time. "A Dratini?" He muttered, finally able to at least speak. He wondered where such a young trainer could

have gotten such a rare Pokemon. The other two, a small psychic Pokemon with a green top, and a floating metal machine looking Pokemon, were

slightly less shocking to see, as he had encountered a few in his home region of Hoenn.

After noticing her, he couldn't help but wonder if the child had notice him chasing Jade. The obvious answer was yes, he was dashing

down the street like a complete madman, screaming and trying to catch a purple bat Pokemon, but he couldn't help but wonder. He decided to take a seat on

a nearby bench so that he would be able to fully catch his breath, however all the while, his eyes were fixated on the serpent Pokemon, and in the back

of his mind he thought about both it, and the tall man he had seen before.

Empoleon's pokeball rumbled in Jordan's back pocket. Jordan sent the abnormally large penguin Pokemon out, standing at six feet tall, much taller than the average Empoleon. Jordan decided he'd ask his partner of many years for advice on the strange text. He whispered the contents of the text to the Emperor Pokemon in such a manner that no passing pedestrian would hear him. Jordan took a seat on a bench next to a random man who oddly seemed to be observing him. He accidentally placed his phone face up on the space between himself and the man, in a way so that anyone could glance down and see it.

"What do you bud?" Jordan asked his partner.

The Empoleon looked just as perplexed and confused as Jordan had been. He glared pensively down at the concrete for a second, and finally nodded his head. Empoleon thought that they should accept the task. It was almost settled. He would accept the task. But still, he had to know why? The question was stuck in the back of his mind. Why would anyone want Jordan to do such a thing? He quickly noticed the contents of his phone were visible to the public, and quickly shoved it back in the pocket, hoping that no one had seen it, especially not the man who he had been sitting next to.

"Ah, he caught it," Kris mused as her little group continued to watch. Astra, being the only one with actual hands that are free, began to lightly clap her little white arms as a sign that she was thoroughly entertained by the mysterious man. Medabot just let out a sound of amusement, it's singular eye closing in an upside-down U as a form of a smile, and Kris just chuckled. It seemed that the young Dratini didn't share in their delight however. Seeing the man intently staring at him, Dragul began to slither around and about Kris's head to see if the man would still follow his movements. After seeing as how he was still being watched regardless, Dragul slide down Kris's body and towards the man seated at the bench. Immediately, the rest of the group followed behind the dragon Pokémon. Once at the man's feet, Dragul slithered up his leg and onto the bench beside him, observing him with keen eyes.

"Hello, sir," Kris greeted the man in a quiet voice, lightly bowing from her waist out of habit. She glanced over to the side and saw a ridiculously tall man sit on the other side of the one she had just greeted with an abnormally large penguin Pokémon beside him. 'An Empoleon, and it's larger than average,' her mind instantly supplied. She noticed that he had his phone out for a bit before he quickly shoved it into his pocket. His actions made Kris a little curious and suspicious of him, though she was leaning towards suspicion. Her hold on Astra tightened just a smidge.

"It seems that Dragul has taken a liking towards you," Kris commented, returning her attention to the entertaining mystery man. She glanced back at her dragon Pokémon and resisted the urge to let out a long sigh. The young Dratini was now glaring at the man with eyes full of fire, as if he were challenging the obviously-skilled trainer to a fight.

Having caught a glimpse of the mans phone before he shoved it into his pocket, Rory hoped what he thought he saw was not what he really saw.

Though he had only looked at it a moment so as to not alert the man, he was able to make out the words "Destroy the large silver...,"

before he looked up to avoid being caught. Rory tensed up, realizing that the man next to him may very well be an agent of the Twisted Company attempting to destroy headquarters, an enemy. Someone to bring to justice. Just from a glance at the man and his towering penguin, he felt as though he stood little chance. However, he could go inform someone, one of the founders perhaps, so that this man could get the justice that he deserves for working with people who harm Pokemon and their habitats He noticed the man hurriedly shove his phone back into his pocket, seemingly worried that someone had seen it, making the whole

situation even more suspicious. Rory considered running back to headquarters to warn someone, however before he was able to stand, the girl with the

Dratini had come over to him.

"Oh hello," Rory said, barely managing to hid the tenseness that he felt at the current situation.

"So Dragul, is that what you named it? I'm sorry for staring but it's not the kind of Pokemon you see very often," He spoke, now more calm

due to the girl, who seemed to be kind-hearted, someone he could trust, a far cry from the man sitting next to him at the very least. Paying more attention to the Dratini, he began to notice a sort of fire in its eyes, as if with anger, or the determination

to battle, though Rory honestly couldn't tell which it was.

Looking back at Dragul, Rory spoke, "Sorry I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Rory and," pausing for a moment to quickly glance

at the large Empoleon beside the tall man,the two seeming to fit so well together it was uncanny. he continued, realizing her comment about the Dratini "taking a liking to him"

"Has he? Honestly he looks more mad than anything." he said, laughing softly, hoping that he hadn't angered the Dratini or its trainer. Attempting to continue the conversation without making the strange tall man suspicious of him, Rory spoke in a happier tone than before, as the conversation had calmed his nerves slightly "Its an impressive team you have, even in Hoenn, its wasn't to often I got to see a Beldum or a Ralts. You seem to be going a pretty good job training them to"

While still weary of both the tall man and his massive Empoleon, he continued speaking, both out of a desire for conversation and in hopes that the

man would eventually walk away, so that he could get to base without having to worry about the mystery man following him.

"Yeah, as much as a 'liking' that this little one can do at least," Kris laughed a little, moving to squat in front of where Dragul had seated himself. With a small grin, she lightly poked his large white snout several times. Dragul made a small whine of indignation, his white, flipper-like ears flapping and fluttering around. Discreetly, Kris looked up at Rory through her bangs, observing him for mere seconds. She could see the way he had tensed as he looked at the tall stranger and hear how his voice had taken a happier tone when addressing her. He was nervous around the tall man, like she was. After a couple of seconds though, Kris turned her attention back to her Dratini.

"Dragul is very brave, but at the same time he's far too impulsive and will rush into a fight any day." At Kris's words, Dragul only let out what sounded like a "hmph" and swiveled his head away from his trainer. Kris let out a content laugh at her friend's antics, already used to it. The girl eventually stopped her treatment of her dear Dratini and stood back up, but not before leaving him with a little pinch on his blue cheek. When she stood, Astra jumped out of her arms and next to Dragul, peering up at Rory through her green bangs. As the feeling Pokémon, Astra could sense both her partner's and Rory's agitated and apprehensive feelings. It made her feel queasy and uneasy. Even Medabot floated down next to the other two, wary of the two males near its partner. Kris, noticing her Beldum and Ralts's change in demeanor, reigned in her emotions and calmed herself.

"I received my Beldum and Dratini as eggs when I was younger, and I met my Ralts a few weeks into my journey," Kris informed him. Hearing Rory compliment her as a trainer, Kris felt a brief feeling of elation. Though it quickly crashed and burned to the ground as she remembered all of her failed battles and the vast number of losses she brought to the team. Hardly the sort of record any trainer wants. Still, Kris kept silent about it.

"Oh, my name is Kristianna by the way, but everyone knows me as simply 'Kris' since it's less of a mouthful. It's nice to meet you, Rory." Kris held out her small hand towards Rory.

"Brave and Impulsive huh? Reminds me of one of my friends,"Rory spoke softly, thinking about Willow, his Shiftry, and how she often

got him and his team into battles they weren't quite prepared for. These kinds of battles made them stronger of course, however it never ceased to be a

source of annoyance for the team. As he reached out to shake the Kris's hand, the Pokeball on his belt holding Willow began to shake

violently.

"Sorry about this Kris, but she really wants to get out of there." He let out an exasperated sigh as he withdrew his hand and reached down to

release Willow.

Almost the moment she had been let out, Willow was attempting to lock eyes with Dragul, as if trying to instigate a battle against it. Of

course, this would happen most any time Rory let her out, it always annoyed him, though in reality he would have it no other way. In a sort of strange way that even he didn't understand, he liked this about her, it made Willow much more fun to have around, and he would never have gotten where he was without it.

"Well she seems to like Dragul" he joked, noticing Willow appear more and more battle-ready with every passing moment. "However I don't think

a battle is the best idea right now." Glancing at the man beside him, still with the large Empoleon at the ready, he was reminded of the nerves

that had disappeared during the conversation and the shenanigans that followed, however he continued to speak, attempting to calm his voice again

"I'm sorry about my friend here," Rory spoke, glaring at Willow, now visibly upset due to not being allowed to battle. "I suppose its natural

though, she's been this way since a I found her as a Seedot." The Pokemon made the closest movement possible to crossing its arms, and let

out an angry sound to voice her distaste for what Rory's previous statement.

"I suppose we should try this again," Reaching his hand out towards Kris "Its very nice to meet you."

Kris quickly took a step back to allow some room for Rory's Pokémon to come out. The small girl was amazed at the Shiftry that came out as it seemed to her that the Pokémon just exuded power. She almost laughed at seeing the sparks and fire clash between her Dragul and Rory's Shiftry. The only thing that stopped that laughter, however, was a small thought in the back of her mind, reminding her that this strong Pokémon would have little-to-no trouble wiping out her team in a single hit.

"You're right, maybe it isn't best to fight right now," Kris agreed, reaching out an arm to gently hold Dragul back, which caused him to let out a childish whine at being held back. She could sense Rory's apprehension towards fighting close to the large Empoleon, but Kris had different reasons for refusing to battle. Kris didn't want Dragul, or any of her friends for that matter, to fight such an opponent for she feared that they could be killed. Seeing Rory hold out a hand for her to shake, Kris couldn't help but smile in amusement.

"It's nice to meet you as well, Rory," Kris greeted back with a light laugh. She reached out and wrapped her tiny hand as best she could around his much larger one in a surprisingly strong grip, giving him a firm shake.

Jordan said, nothing, to the two strangers talking to next to him, as his Empoleon glared intently at the man's, Rory's, Shiftry. It looked ready to pounce, but not for a particular reason, no, by nature. Empoleon, on the other hand, had no desire to battle the Shiftry, but instead was intensely analyzing a Pokemon who may have later become a potential opponent. Although Jordan didn't notice, Empoleon had seen Rory glance at Jordan's phone, and now the man was acting suspicious of his trainer. Empoleon patted Jordan's shoulder, beckoning to the teenager to follow him, and that it would be best if they left the scene.

Oblivious to the situation and captivated by the young girl's rare Dratini, Jordan gave his Empoleon the 'one minute finger' and approached the little girl. The Empoleon took a flipper to his face in exasparation.

"Is that a Dratini?" Jordan asked in shock, "I don't think I've ever seen one in real life!"

Kris instantly released Rory's hand and took a few steps back as the tall stranger approached her. Her Pokémon were instantly put on alert and they rapidly moved to protect their trainer. Medabot floated up to get between the two, glaring at the new man and his Empoleon with it's singular red eye. Astra jumped off the bench and onto the top of Kris's head, ready to teleport her trainer away if the man were to try anything. Dragul slithered up Kris's body and wrapped his long body several times around her shoulders, leaning forward like snake to glare at the man and his Empoleon with Medabot. Kris couldn't get a word out with how swiftly they moved and chose not to speak when they all stopped, knowing that her voice would be muffled by Dragul's body. Instead, she just gave the man a very small, slow nod of her head.

Jordan patted the little girl on the shoulder. "Why so nervous?" he asked, with a genuine tone in his voice. He observed all the Pokemon around him, the Dratini, the Ralts, the Beldum, the Shiftry, staring at his Empoleon intently. Jordan looked back at his Empoleon, wondering why everyone was looking at his Empoleon.

Empoleon cocked his head to the side so as to motion to his trainer that they should leave. At that very moment Jordan realized what was going on. Empoleon must have seen the man, Rory, glance down at Jordan's phone. Maybe that was why all the people around him were on edge. But unfortunately, running from the scene may have confirmed their suspicions. He couldn't just leave now. He would play to whatever bit of doubt or shock they had about the context of the message, and hopefully be able to eventually leave the scene without anyone having to alert the authorities. He would act like nothing was wrong, and try to continue making polite small-talk until the strangers around him lost all suspicion. Jordan tried to think of a wisecrack, but he couldn't think of one. After about a four second pause, he finally asked the girl, "Where did you find that? Dragonair are native in Sinnoh, but I still have not been able to find one myself!"

Ruby was very excired to finally be in this particular city, what was this city caled again? ...eh doesnr matter just so long as im here!, she thiught as her Feraligatr walked beside her down the street towards a map. Though once she saw Rory, she immediately reconised him from one of her magazines and smiled big " Come on Feraligatr! There he is! " she exclaimed and climbed onto the pokemon's back.

Taking a hold of one of Feraligatr's red spines, the pokemon took of runing on all fours for better speed. Thundering towards Rory, Ruby whooped loudly and pressed on Feraligatr's left shoulder as they got close to Rory. Immediately her pokemon slowed and stood up straight as she jumped off right in front of Rory.

" Ah ha! I found you! Finally I get to meet the one ans only Rory Zenlya! " Ruby practically yelled as she pointed at the man with a big grin she pulled her hand away and tilted her head winking she gently poked her cheeking in an adorable position " Hiya! Im Ruby Rox...and id like to join the Relics of Hope! " she seemed very enthusiastic, as her Feraligatr loomed behind her. Standing at almost eight feet the Feraligatr seemed very intimidating and very close to Ruby, as if she had raised it from an egg and grown it all by herself as big as she could

@Cece Meep

Glenn overheard someone saying that they wanted to join the Relics of Hope, so he did his job as a founder and aproached the group, "did sombody say that they want to join the RoF?" He asked the group. The Relics of Hope are always open for new membes, no matter the level they will be accepted, unless they are spies from the Twisted Company.

Taking his attention away from Kris and the tall man, who had now begun speaking to her, Rory noticed another child. Notice was a bit of

an understatement, seeing as she had jumped off of a massive sky blue alligator right in front of him. The new girl seemed enthusiastic about joining

the cause, which is something he could respect. No matter how young or old, someone who is willing to fight the same fight as him and bring

those who do evil to justice was a friend in Rory's eyes.

Rory spoke, flustered from hearing the child praise him "Well I thank you but really I'm not that special, I'm just a traveler. However, if you would like to join

The Relics, then I might be able to help you, after..."

Rory stopped, returning his attention to the tall man and Kris. The two seemed to be getting along rather well, and he could not detect even a

hint of malice in the tall mans voice, however he couldn't shake the bad feeling he had about this man. While Rory hoped the man meant no harm,he could not forget what he had seen in the text. He wanted to trust this man, but he couldn't. He decided that perhaps speaking to the man would alleviate some of his worries. He could learn of the man and perhaps even have the contents of the text message cleared up, so that his suspicions could be calmed.

Rory switched his attention to the Pokemon for a moment, now noticing how Dragul had curled on Kris, and the other two taking defensive positions. Even

though they stood little chance, they were likely willing fight for their trainer if need be. Willow on the other hand was another story, seeming

to actively distrust this man. For the first time that Rory could remember, it didn't seem Willow wanted to fight this man for the fight, but that

she wanted to fight to protect her trainer and Kris if need be.

Giving the new child the "one second" finger, Rory walked over to the man. Rory spoke, hiding the distrust he felt for the man. "Hello, my name is Rory, and I couldn't help but notice the rather impressive Pokemon you have with you."

Ruby blinked seeing ghe man get flustered and then get up to talk to someone else she shrugged and spun on her heels to face Glenn before she jumped up in the air knocking back her left arm and punching the other forwards " Yes! " when she landed she faxed Feraligatr and they high fived " Ha ha! Found another Relic! " she hugged Feraligatr who madena happt geowling sound hugging her gently back. Ruby then pulled awaymand bounded up to Glenn " I did! Im Ruby Rox! " she did her little pose with the tilted head
