Fandom Poke Academy (A School for the Gifted)

Cobalion sighed. He didn't want to ask the question. He didn't want to be teleported into a volcano. "I hate to ask this," he told Leon. "But could you verify what your legendary power is. I need to make sure this information is up to date."

Scout followed after Kaida, noticing how Pandora seemed to be the leader of the Pokémon trio. It was unlike his own, who were more of partners to one another. Thinking of his Pokémon, Scout realized he hadn't picked up Sir. Looking back, the hallway was empty. Suddenly, he felt a weight at his pant leg and peered down. There was Sir clinging onto his jeans, trying to clamber back onto his shoulder. "Sorry, Sir. I didn't mean to leave you there. Here, I'll give you an extra poke puff tonight. What do you say?" The sableye grinned in response, earning Scout chuckle. "Alright, will it's settled then."

It didn't take too long for them to reach the english room, which Scout immediately stepped in after returning Sir to his pokéball. Looking at the teacher, he nodded his head down and looked back up at her. "Sorry we're late. It was my fault. I ended up holding us back." He looked at all the other students who were on time. Why did the classes have to have this many students? They're all focused on me and Kaida. He shifted slightly, not liking this idea of having the attention of all the other students. He was just about ready to just leave.

Leon's eyes widened, this wasn't exactly what he expected to be called here about, but figured it made sense considering what had happened earlier with Artemis and how he lost control of his powers in the cafeteria. "Well, I uh can create portals through space warping for a limited amount of time that lead anywhere in any direction within a certain distance bubble, which I believe is roughly one and a half kilometers or close to a mile, but I have to rest for a couple of hours before I can do it again." He looked down again, thinking hard if he had missed anything, but not coming up with anything in particular. "I think that's pretty much it." The boy turned back to look at Cobalion and expected some kind of response or a follow-up question from the legendary Pokemon.

Cobalion looked do wn at his information. "Oh good this is up to date." He said. "You may go." He said to Leon. Hopefully terrakion won't kill me he thought.

Placing a calloused hand over her mouth, she hid a yawn that revealed a set of dull white teeth. A tear fell from her as she began stretching her legs out further out onto the desk nearly kicking the dude in front of her. Her heel brushed his back garnering a confused expression from the boy in front who looked in horror at the dirt stain that was left behind by her slides. He turned to look to her but she kept her gaze focused on the clock obviously trying to feign ignorance of what she had just done. He glared at her for a moment until finally giving up, upset that his brand new shirt had been dirtied on the first day no less. With her victim gone she returned her attention back to the front where she heard someone whisper her name.

The voice was oddly familiar although not to the point where she could tell who was calling her from it alone. She searched for a minute before the teacher addressed her tardiness or more so her introduction. Avery sucked her teeth as the Keldeo asked her to introduce herself as if she was in some freshman class. On second thought, she might have been seeing as she did not know if this was her class to begin with. Unamused, she removed herself from her comfortable position and stood making no attempt to walk to the front of the room, the boy in front looking at her with a sullen look. Tough titty dude.

"Let's just get this over with." she mumbled as she readied her quick introduction.

"Yo." she greeted, a limp hand waving in the air for a few seconds then returning to her side. "Name's Avery Summers. Came to this school because it gave me the most money." she stated casually before thinking of anything else one was supposed to say during an introduction. The teacher wasn't giving her any criterias so she assumed that this had been quite satisfactory in her opinion. About to seat herself she remembered something.

"Oh. I like plants and sullen silences." she stated feeling that she had filled her teacher's request. With that, she resumed her normal position of planting her feet on the desk and accidentally hitting the already annoyed dude with her shoes.

Tyra smiled and clapped when Avery finished her introduction. Kind of sounds like she's a bit of a stick in the mud, she thought to herself with a chuckle. Looking back at the girl she noticed her sitting nonchalantly in the desk, causing her to snicker. Even though she knew Avery was one to be off by her own. But she hoped that they'd be good friends while they were here. Tyra honestly needed someone that could give her a bit of criticism every know and then.

Before Kaida even entered the classroom, she returned Hydra and Phantom to their pokeballs. Pandora would be staying outside, so she didn't think it'd break any rules. Once inside the room, she waited until Scout was done talking before saying anything. "I apologize for being late as well. And really, I should have kept track of the time. It's my fault." She didn't care about any attention they might have gotten, as long as the attention didn't result from knowing her father.

Well, that was an introduction. Raava hid her grin behind her hand at the last comment of plants and sullen silences, trying not to laugh. As it was, she let out a giggle. Now, if only I could be that honest! She thought with amusement. Sadly, she'd likely won't ever be that honest. It just wasn't how life was for her. Still, she liked seeing other people be honest like that. When she sat back down, she went back to drawing flowers.

((Looks like we're timeskipping a few days, so I'll start.))

Jirachi had been roaming the halls of the school, making sure all the new students knew him. He's the caretaker after all, he wanted to make sure every student was doing well. His wishing powers come in handy for that, but unfortunately for him no one's requested a wish from him so far yet. As a new day approaches he stands outside the school doors, saying hi to everyone he could, as usual.

Beep! Beep! Beeeeeeeeeep!

Green eyes shot open at the sound. Groaning softly after turning the clock to snooze, Zael covered his face with his hands for a moment, skin slick with sweat beneath his fingertips. In that temporary darkness he saw the afterimages of what had been present in his dreams, the familiar blackness clawing at him, and he quickly sat up in the bed, trying to keep himself from trembling. He took steady breaths.

It was a dream. In. A nightmare that didn't mean anything. Out. Everything is fine. In. The legendaries will prevent anything like my horrible dream from happening. Out. He continued like that for several minutes, doing his best to ignore the humming sense in his blood. Cursed power...

He expected to hear one of his pokemon make a comment, but when none of them did he remembered that he had placed them in their capsules for the night for once. He still was the only human present in the room, as his roommate hadn't arrived yet if they were going to at all that is. He sighed, before getting up and doing the usual routine of taking a shower and getting dressed.

Exiting his room, Zael made his way to the cafeteria, careful as always not to accidentally touch anyone. After ordering some pokepuffs for Archer, Cherche, and Zach he sat at a lone booth, watching as his pokemon ate their food.

O Hoopa O

Golden rings danced around thin purple fingers as Hoopa sat in between dimensions. She moved them from finger to finger eventually enlarging them to fit around her tiny waist like hula hoops. It amused her for a moment, the stars of the galaxies watching the lonesome woman perform for them. From her waist the ring twirled down to her ankle, becoming smaller as it spun on her toe. Nearing the end of routine, she added a few more golden circlets, enlarging the ones around her neck and wrist becoming a whirlwind of rings. Spinning the last hoop her show came to an end, an expected silence greeting her dance. She grinned, not because she had been happy but because it was the expression that came naturally to her. Hoopa stood in space, feet standing on nothing yet somehow keeping her steady amidst the nothingness of space.

Wondering what to do, she felt her stomach rumble. There was no growl, just a feeling. Scratching the yellow circle on her forehead she went about tapping a ring on her right arm, the bangle becoming 4 feet long in diameter. Motioning it outward, the hoop left her arm an into the empty space in front of her. Touching her fingers together she created a small image of a cafeteria, a room which humans were able to obtain food. However, this cafeteria had been slightly different as it did not just host humans, but humanoid pokemon. Gijinkas is what her boss called them, and Arceus was the creator so what she said was law. She snickered or at least did the motion of a snicker as she floated toward the hole of her making. Cheerfully, she poked her head through, silence becoming an abundance of noise and ... black horns?

Hoopa smile did not leave her face as she was greeted with a pair of black horns attached to a sea of red. Intrigued, she grabbed them, her hands fiddling with the sharpened edge of the horns before ultimately grabbing the entire thing. She tugged and pulled, but they remained attached to the red sea. Attempting to pull them off once more, she went back into her hoop, her hand still holding on to the random set of horns. She managed to pull it up somewhat but failed to bring it with her. Whatever it was attached to it was something that had been too heavy for her to pull up. Sticking half of her body back through the loop, she could feel eyes stare at was effectively was a giant purple hole in the ceiling made by a golden hoop and a purple woman hanging haphazardly through it. However, she shook them off, enamored with the mystical horns. Annoyed at her inability to take it, she moved her hoop slightly forward revealing her thighs as her legs still dangled in space. Her hands were still touching them when she saw rather unique face the horns were stuck too.

Snickering at the silliness of it all she couldn't help but address the unknown boy. "Hehe! You're the reason why they won't come off!" she chuckled, pearly white teeth clenched together as she laughed. "I'm over here trying to take your horns in what I thought to be some weird grass, but it was actually your head!" she laughed slightly louder her knees becoming visible as she unwittingly flailed her lower half around on the other side. Another fit of laughter and she found herself upside down on the floor, the portal closing as the ring returned to it's original size meeting the ground with a loud clank. Her hands were still attached to the horns, a pale face now in front of her discolored one.

"Well this is a rather quick development isn't it? Mind taking me out for dinner before you try hitting 3rd base." she giggled, flashing him her trademark smile. Hoopa was not one for personal space and if anyone knew anything, the personal space of this boy had been breached.

Artemis woke with a yawn. How long had he been put? Classes the past few days had taken a lot out of him. At least he had gotten plenty of notes done. He silently got dressed and noticed he had a good two hours before classes started. He got put his computer and began to write before deciding to give himself a day off. He pulled up a game where you played as a guy in a funny hat who had to rescue a princess. As he pulled the game up he let Athena out of her pokeball. "Hey girl." He said scratching her behind the ear. I filled your food bowl. "Umbree!" Athena said as she happily munched on her food.

Keldeo
Keldeo was tired after subbing for the goddamn history teacher every day. Arceus should really hire a new one. Keldeo didn't know anything about history. Regardless of how tired he was Keldeo had work to do. He had a cake to bake and he had to feed the students. As he walked to the kitchens he spotted hoopa with a boy who he thought was named zael. He wasn't sure though because he could never keep track of everyone's name. "Hey hoopa!" He said in his usual friendly manner as he passed by.

Tyra was up and about already, full of excitement. The first day of school had already been here and gone for bit now. But everyday she somehow managed to have this energy to her that didn't seem to fade. It was rather odd though how someone managed to have this much pep in their step.
She had already gotten herself and her Pokémon breakfast so they were happy and full. Her Pokémon were all out of their poké balls, enjoying the freedom. Expect for Chee-Chee who stays out of hers every night so Tyra doesn't feel so lonely. Her room mate had never shown so she had room to herself.
As she walked around campus she came up upon the building that held her favorite class. Battle class. "Oh!" Tyra grinned as she looked up at the dome shaped building, "I just want to get to the part of the day where we can just battle!" Her gaze turned to Coal as she figeted, "Maybe we can convince the teacher to allow us to demonstrate the power of Mega Evolution!"

"Muph..." Raava all but rolled out of bed, groaning to herself. She hated mornings- well, not mornings, exactly, but waking up. Muttering about not getting enough sleep, she washed, dressed and ran a brush through her hair, all before checking her phone. She had a text from Josie, asking for updates. She sighed and texted back, telling her that nothing interesting had happened yet. She then tossed the phone in her backpack, then grabbed it, walking out of the dorm.

As she walked, she felt that it was much too quiet. She let a pokeball fly, letting her meganium, Bailey walk beside her as she walked to the cafeteria. As long as I have my pokemon, I'm never lonely. She reminded herself.

When she reached the cafeteria, she saw a strange sight- a young man with some lady clinging to him, and the history teacher watching. "Um..." Should I say something? "Um... Isn't it against a few laws for teachers to cling to students like that...?" She wondered aloud, then looked to Bailey, who looked slightly confused. "Meg?"

Unlike Raava, Bianca always woke early. It had been part of her routine for years, so it couldn't be helped now. Luckily, she made minimal noise this time, and was already outside. She had sent out most of her pokemon- Jack, Liara, and Speeder- for some morning exercise. Yuno would get some as well, when she found water.

The Pokemon took turns battling each other- at least, until first contact. That was the rule. When two of her pokemon battled, it was until the first successful hit. Then, whoever was hit would rest, and another pokemon would take over. Currently, Jack and Speeder were currently battling, the Sylveon elegantly dancing away from Speeder's potentially deadly moves.

Liara perched on Bianca's shoulder, ready to alert her in case of a winner, or some sort of problem. On her part, the blind trainer listened, and enjoyed the morning sun.

Leon shot up from his bed as soon as he heard Athena make a noise from across the room. Checking his watch, he noticed that it was way too early to be awake at that time. "How do you manage to wake up so early Artemis?" The boy turned to look at his roomate who was sitting at his computer, still feeling somewhere between passed out and awake. After a lot of thought, Leon decided that it'd be best to just stay awake and wait until classes start. It had been a long few days since the boy never actually managed to wake up well enough to learn anything throughout the first hour of classes, but he had managed well enough. He got up and got dressed quickly, moving over to wake up his Pokemon. "Hey guys it's time to get up." Only Rayah actually woke up happily, Leo growled at him and Hexie scratched his hand a little angrily. Leon walked over and opened his bag of food, having forgotten to actually serve any in their bowls he just allowed them all to eat from the bag.

Artemis yawned again before answering Leon's question. "I'm from Kanto." He said in a tired voice. "You have to get up early there. To work on the farm or whatever." Artemis chuckled. "Boy was I glad when I was finally old enough to go on a Pokemon journey. Crap!" This last remark was to dying in the game he was playing.

Scout wandered the halls of the academy since he had time to kill. Today he wore a white tank decorated with black tribal markings, as well as a pair of black cargo pants. He also had a green zip-up, but that was hung over his shoulder. Scout passed by a large crowd of students as quickly as he could, then burst outside, when it was much less dense. Out there, he found an area free of other students, so he created a small field of antigravity. He then hopped inside of it, bobbing around a bit before slowing down more to a slight rock. There, he fell asleep yet again.

Avery Summers
A warm breeze ran through the field of flowers bringing along with it leaves of the plants is passed before it. They twirled in the air as the wind urged them forward into the hair of a soiled covered Avery hard at work. Green leaves entangled themselves into her hair as she went about digging small holes, dropping a few seeds into each pit. The brunette had been doing this for quite sometime, leaving her room at five in the morning to get a head start on working on her little project. A smile touched her lips as she dug up her last hole, placing a total of four seeds into it before patting her self-made mulch on top fully covering the hole. After two and a half ours of planting she was finally finished, her secret garden now ready to be watered the sunlight seemingly good today. Munching on a bag of leftover mulch, Drip went about shaking the entire bag hoping to eat whatever remained within. Avery couldn't understand what he found appetizing about dead leaves, but apparently the taste had yet to deter him and being finished with her work it didn't hurt to let him enjoy himself. However, now it was his turn to do some work.

"Drip, it's your turn." she told him, the plastic bag standing erect at its name being called. The dragon was blind, his visioned blurred by the Pokemart Logo of the bag. He shook furiously to remove it to no prevail.

"Goooomy!" he cried, shaking his body even harder. Avery sighed as she made her way over to the foolish purple slime and snatched the bag off his head, Drip still jumping unaware that the bag was no longer on him. He kept wailing for a couple of seconds before opening his eyes to see an unamused Avery staring down at him. He met her sullen attitude with a smile and touched her overall pants with what seemed to be a hug. Patting him on the head, she picked him up and placed him in the center of her garden.

Snapping her fingers, Drip did what he did best. Thrusting his head upwards he called for a swarm of clouds, just enough to cover the small area of her garden and brought down the rain. Water poured down on the two as she went back to retrieve her poke-watering can. She knew he hated using his attacks like this, more interested in battling then he was watering plants. Drip sighed in his trainer's embrace Avery sighing along with him as the two left the rain to do it's job. Done with her job, the two went back to their dorms, the brunette thinking of a way to reward the slime for his work. Her thoughts were interrupted by the sudden emptiness of her stomach and apparent lack of solid ground underneath her. Confused, she wiggled her legs. Nothing but air. Looking down, she could feel last night dinner coming up as she found herself floating in thin air. Shocked, rightfully so, she began wondering how in the hell this was happening.

Drip, in the other hand, seemed to enjoy floating, wiggling out of her arms to bob up and down while Avery had difficulty keeping down her dinner. Floating cheerfully, Drip noticed a human who was also floating aside from his trainer.

"Goomy!" he called, bringing Avery's attention to the unknown boy dressed in white and black with a touch of green.

Attempting to regain her composure, she stared at the dude who was apparently sleeping through this. Had he been the one to make this? It wasn't completely out of the question seeing as this school did allow for special students too enter. Whatever the case, Avery was stuck and the only other person there was that sleeping dude, annoyed and with no other option she called to him.

"Hey, jackass! Wake ur-" she paused, trying to keep the bile from exiting her throat. A disgusting gulp had forced it back down. "Wake up and cut this crap off." she hollered angrily, the taste of acid and chicken filling her mouth. All she wanted was to plant some magnolias, so why did the world feel the need to fuck with her?

At that point, Scout's hoodie had successfully covered his face, so when he woke up to another's voice, he was confused. "Who's the jackass? And when did it get so dark?" He reached up to his face and yanked off the zip-up, revealing a girl and a goomy floating around. "Oh, hey." Scout realized that she was yelling at him. She was real mad. He needed to deal with her quickly so he could go back to relaxing. "You seem stuck. Hold on a second." He slid out of the antigravity field at ease then erased a decent amount of it at the bottom, avoiding the portion where the angry girl was. From there he brought out Mister and pat his head when he reached his neck down.

"Alright Mister, I need you to stand right there, good. Now I'm going to drop someone onto you, so don't freak out." Then he shouted up to the girl who looked really green at the moment. "Alright, so you'll land on my aurorus here. Don't mind the coldness, it's just how he's supposed to be. I'll gonna get rid of the field now." He stepped back a bit, then removed the last of the field, causing her to fall a short distance then land on the tundra Pokémon. Scout walked back over and rubbed Mister's neck. "Nice job. I'll be sure to give you more breaks and extra pokepuffs for the rest of the week. The aurorus nuzzled his head in response, leaving it messy. He looked back to the girl. "Sorry, I didn't think anyone was going to walk through the field." He'd prefer not having to deal with her anger, so apologizing was his best option.

Jirachi had been wandering through the academy and being friendly as usual. Still no wishes, maybe he could have been better at introducing himself. He comes across someone who seems to be sleeping in mid-air. Must be one of the other legendaries' children. He wanted to know them especially, they have bright futures ahead of them. Someone else came in and also started floating, it looked like whoever the boy was made a zero-gravity field of some sort and she stepped into it. He chuckled to himself. You don't see something like that every day. He decides to stay back for now and let the two of them talk it out, hopefully the girl won't stay angry about it, but he's there if they need him.

Avery Summers
The boy answered in question, repeating her earlier insult to him. Had he really been asleep through all this? Whatever his deal was it didn't concern her. All that mattered was that he put her down and soon. Dirt covered hands slammed against her mouth as she felt the second wave of bile attack her throat, water filling her eyes as she gulped it down yet again. She was gonna hurl. Mouth fully closed with watered filled eyes she couldn't much respond to the boy who went about stating the obvious. Of course she was stuck. Did he think dangling in the air was a hobby of hers? Peeved at his casual approach to her discomfort, she hovered in silence watching the mystery boy undo whatever this was. Unlike his trainer, Drip enjoyed the disappearance of gravity. He shook, his body spreading in various weird shape that, for some reason, pleased him. The first had been a puddle, the second a star. Now he was pulling himself together to form a square but his plans were thwarted by the sudden appearance of a large quadruped ice pokemon. Drip returned to his original state, his eyes captivated by the sheer size of the unknown pokemon. He was confused on how he should react to it settling for a surprised expression consisting of him opening his mouth. The ball of goo couldn't help but think that the other was super cool looking. Would he be cool like that if he evolved?

With the sudden appearance of an Aurorus, Avery had the sneaking suspicion that did would not bode well for her. To preoccupied with keeping her food in her gut, she did not hear what the boy said. She maybe caught every other word. Something about falling? Just as she tried to piece the few things she heard together, they fell. The sudden return of her stomach had been the straw that broke the camerupts back. Landing chest first onto the beast, she slid down its back until she eventually found herself on lovely wet earth. However, she could not savor this reunion as the volcano she tried to keep calm erupted. Crawling off the path and into the grass she threw up. Chunks of digested magikarp and green liquid, presumably acid, came spewing out of her mouth. Saliva fell down her chin along with the tears that spilled from her sockets. In short, it wasn't a pretty sight. All of last night dinner was sitting in a mushy pile in front of her with a few added addition of grass and dirt. Just perfect. Ten more seconds of gross hacking had left her completely empty. Avery frowned as she wiped the tears and saliva from her face and onto her red plaid sleeve. Today was supposed to be fun doing something she loved. Now it was ruined. Standing up, her eyes met with the young man who had been apologizing to her.

Gritting her teeth she growled. "Yeah that makes it -" she held her tongue. Was it really his fault? They were in a place rarely visited by students after all. It had been the entire reason she decided to plant her secret garden near there. It would make sense for him to come here if he sought a little alone time. She kept trying to think about it logically, the anger clouding her judgement. Even if this wasn't meant to happen it did, and she felt that she had every right to get upset with some random ass magic that messed with the laws of gravity. Taking a deep breath, she wiped away another stray tear onto her sleeve as she attempted to address the boy civilly in usual Avery fashion.

"Yo, it's fine. Just make sure next time you don't do it next to the path back to campus kid." she told him, tapping her converse on the dirt road that would eventually lead to the concrete sidewalks of the school.

"Man that did a real number on me. Now I'm gonna have to find something to eat." she muttered, her bank account empty. Bloom would normally whip her up something in this situation, but she didn't want to bother her pokemom with it as she gave her the day off relaxing in the sun somewhere on campus. Hungry and a bit light-headed, she turned her gaze to the apologetic boy. If he had really been sorry then he wouldn't mind walking her to a little diner on the far east side of campus. She wasn't mad at him or anything anymore but it was his fault that dinner was now being eaten by caterpies and wurmples.

"Yo. If you're really sorry about all this, mind taking me to get some food?" she inquired, the tone of voice somewhat assertive hinting that he didn't have much of a choice in the matter. As she basically guilt tripped the kid into getting her food, Drip had stuck himself onto the back of her blue overalls, trying to get a better look at the huge dinosaur. The dragon shivered instinctively knowing that this was something he shouldn't try to mess with, but the idea of battling this thing was so exciting. With both trainer and pokemon in their own little world, they had very little time to notice the caretaker of their school watching everything unfold.

Kaida Ayers
Pandora didn't have to paw at Kaida to get her to wake up. Kaida was quick to get up, take a quick shower and get dressed. She decided on a simple tank top, a pair of shorts and a light jacket. She didn't bother putting her hair up. She decided to just let it all flow. She turned to Pandora and gave a small twirl. "Does this look alright?" Pandora gave her a small nod. "Good. Let's go. I'm sure Hydra and Phantom are eager to get some fresh air." She made sure to grab her bag before exiting the room.

Once the duo were outside, Hydra and Phantom were immediately let out of their pokeballs. "Alright. How about we have breakfast outside this time?" Her trio each gave her a look that seemed to say "Yes". Smiling, she immediately pulled out a few pokepuffs from her bag and handed them off to her eager trio. For herself, she pulled out a simple chocolate chip muffin. After unwrapping the muffin, she summoned a single fireball and ran it over the top of it. 15 seconds was the perfect amount of time for it to get warm. Once the flame was gone, she happily took a bite. "Mm...Perfect. It'd be even better if I had a coffee."

Sighing Tyra walked away from the gym. "I really want to show everyone the bond you and I have Coal! But I can't find the battle instructor anywhere!" The Sceptile slapped his whiny trainer on the back, causing a loud noise. "Ow!" Looking up at him she gave a fake angry pout, "That hurts you know." Coal gave a somewhat smug smile and shrugged his shoulders as if to tell her that at least she stopped whining. "Sceptile," he replied in his normal low tone. The pinkish red head couldn't stay in a bad mood for long as she chuckled, "I know, I know. I'm done." Continuing to chuckle she pet Chee-Chee's cheek while the Pikachu sat on her shoulder. Toby on the other hand floated above Tyra's head, he was as cheerful as she was. But I guess that's what happens when you're known as the jubilee Pokémon.

Leon yawned loudly as his Pokemon moved towards him, noticeable happier now that they had their meal. "As fun as that looks, I'm gonna step outsid for some training, might as well make use of the time we got before class." The boy chuckled a little at his roomate after he died in the game he was playing. "Come on guys, time to get stronger!" The Pokemon screeched with joy and followed Leon out the door of the dorm. Leon led them down the hall and out of the building, taking a few moments to breathe in the fresh morning air at the school. "It really is a beautiful day isn't it?" Leo nodded in agreement and started to jog towards the field, which Leon and the rest of the team following close behind.
