Fandom Poke Academy (A School for the Gifted)

Leon extended his hand in response and shook Tyra's with a friendly smile on his face. "It's nice to meet you too Tyra!" The Luxio yawned one last time before standing tall next to Leon, softly purring with a happy look on his face. "So we should probably get going to class, it'd be nice to get settled in before anyone else arrives." It had just occurred to him that they still had class to attend, and now that his grogginess was finally fading away he felt more than ready to get there. "Just one question, do you happen to know where exactly class is?" Leon hadn't payed much attention to his map of the school so he was just kind of hoping to stumble into the right class by chance, but now that he met Tyra maybe he wouldn't need to do that.

A high pitched screamed echoed throughout the thin walls of her room, Avery groaning as the sound stabbed her ear drums. Why was she so noisy in the morning? Lifting her head, she jerked at the pillow underneath her, a small portion of the pillow case stuck beneath her breast. A few minutes of tugging and pulling occurred to no prevail. Sleep deprived and annoyed, she jerked the pillow causing the feather stuffed thing to slam against the wall creating a small thump before it haggardly sliding onto her bed. Light grey eyes peaked from thin lids as she squinted to see where the pillow had gone. Finding it between her leg and the wall, she grabbed it and slammed it on her head in an attempt to muffle any further noises her roommate would make. To think she's be shacking up with the blind girl from yesterday ... or that she'd be this loud. Covering her head with the pillow she happily drifted off to sleep. Well, she tried at least, but her roommate wouldn't even give her that luxury.

Something warm touched her shoulder before shaking her like a rag doll. Avery lifted her head up once again, this time in between sleep and unbridled rage. She growled, silver eyes staring into the others. A stupid gesture seeing as the girl was blind, but at this moment, it didn't really matter. Bianca continued to shake her shoulder completely unaware that she had already gotten up from her earlier screaming.

"I'm awakew... mmph." she mumbled as her head fell against the pillow, the fabric muffling her words. Avery made no attempt to leave her bed, but at the sound of the door opening accompanied by a small jingle, hell has brought itself to her doorstep.

"L-i-l-l-i-g-a-n-t?" Bloom sang with a tinge of question that sounded more threatening than anything. However, sleep had already overcome Avery's rationality which led to her mistakenly ignoring her spartan mother. A small vein popped up on the leaf that made up the plant's bangs. Was Avery perhaps ignoring her? Oh, the idea did not bode well with her. Cheerfully, she hopped her way to her absent minded trainer and snatched the blanket from over her body. Before she could even react, Bloom's hands latched onto her thin scarred ankles and pulled her off the bed. Avery's eyes flashed open as her head made contact with the floor.

"Lilligant." she whispered happily, her eyes giving away her true feelings. Avery had been to scared to cry or else she would have been yelling at the pain her head had just experience.

Rolling on the floor, Avery forced herself up and then looked at the Natu and Bianca who would probably be more confused by the sudden movement than anything. Growling, as she was prone to do, Avery stripped herself of her oversize t-shirt and bra leaving her completely naked. She made her way to their bathroom and quickly brushed her teeth and washed her face but neglected to fix her hair which was now a brown mess of curls after having washed it yesterday. Finished with that, she went about shuffling through her leave and shit covered luggage that she had accidentally left outside the greenhouse yesterday. The sight made her chuckle, the bird pokemon must of have a field day with this. After finding a pair of dark blue overalls with the legs cut off turning them to shirt and an inverted "Where's Waldo" shirt with more red than white and the red being more maroon than anything else, she tossed them on completely forgetting her bra. Bloom insistently picked up the nearest sport bra available to her, demanding that she wear it. Sighing, she pulled it over her head thrusting her arms through both the hole of her shirt and bra. With that done, she kicked on a pair of generic slides donning a pair of maroon sock to match with her shirt and she was ready.

Grabbing her backpack that held her pokeballs, she looked at Bianca and said,"I'm done, Let's go ... Oh, and thanks for waking me up."

Her voice held no emotion, and the only reason for her thank you had been mainly due to the pair of orange eyes boring holds into her back. Although she didn't want to say, she could at least admit that she meant it.

Artemis looked up from his note taking when he heard a voice. In front of him he saw someone who was obviously a teacher. She was too old to be a student. "Oh, hello miss..." Artemis ran through his encyclopedic knowledge of the many things he had read. Specifically the section on the school. "Tristram. It is miss Tristram right?" Aka terrakion Artemis thought before continuing. "I didn't know that no! This is my first encounter with the Pokemon since I visited the ruins of alph with my family!" Family meaning him, his mom, and Athena of course. Lugia wasn't involved ever. "The ones there weren't nearly as lively as the ones here. They moved ocasionally but never that much! And they never formed words! It's amazing really! A single unown is relatively weak but if they link up they wield the most powerful psychic powers of any Pokemon I've ever seen! It's a giant hive mind of Pokemon! The amount of information I could gather here! I might be able to add an entire section to the online pokedex, if I get my work approved by the council of regional scientists of course..." Artemis trailed off. "Oh sorry! Did I go off on a rant? How uncharacteristic of me."

Tyra smiled back, hand dropping to her side once the handshake was over. Stealing another glance of Leo caused her to snicker quietly to herself. "Class?" She repeated to herself as she looked at Leon a bit blankly before snapping back into reality. "Oh yeah! I was just headed that way myself. It's not too far." A small chuckle escaped from her lips, a bit embarrassed for having spaced out. Looking down the hall she asked, "You want to walk with me? I'm sure if you tell me what class you're going to I can help you find it with little to no issue." Yet again another chuckle escaped the pinkish red head. Despite it being early in the morning she somehow still had a form of pep inside.

Scout woke up with a yawn and rubbed his eyes. Around him, his Pokémon were still asleep. He was lucky to have all those extra naps yesterday, as now he had enough extra energy stored to last him until the weekend. He still needed to sleep at night of course. Looking at the empty bed on the other side of the room, Scout realized he still didn't have a roommate. That's fine for now. Less interaction would mean more time to sleep, after all.

Scout dressed for the day, slipping on dark jeans and a t-shirt designed with a crystal cavern. Over that he wore an unzipped dark blue sweater. Just as he finished dressing, his Pokémon started to wake up. First was Mister, whom he pet on the head and returned to his pokéball. He did the same for Captain, putting him in his dusk ball, but left out Sir. He's help make sure his energy did not fail him. "Alright, let's go." He hoisted the sableye on his shoulder and pocketed the two other pokéballs before leaving his room.

Stepping out, he made his way towards the cafeteria, passing a white haired girl with her three Pokémon. As he did, a strange, electrifying feeling shot through him, one bringing back thoughts of his father and the stories he told of his past. Immediately he stopped and turned to the girl. "Reshiram." He said, walking a bit closer to her, but not enough to agitate her Pokémon. "He's your father, isn't he?"

Bianca withdrew her hand as her roommate started talking- or, attempting to talk. She tilted her head, only half understanding her muttering. Then, she heard Bloom the lilligant, then a thud. She flinched in reflex, not fully understanding what just happened. "Did she just-?" She raised her hands and backed away, recalling Liara into her pokeball as Jack got up, stretching and rubbing his head against Bianca's leg. Smug bastard, sleeping in.

Idily, she scratched Jack's ear as she waited. She heard lots of noises, but wasn't sure she was done until Avery declared it. "Sure, no problem." She nodded, grabbing her cane while Jack wrapped a ribbon around her wrist. "On the off chance I slept in, I'd want someone to get me up." Although if she knew Bloom was going to do that, she probably wouldn't have bothered. Still, she appreciated the thanks.

"Is she always so rough?" Bianca asked before she could think better of it. Still, the lilligant treated her trainer pretty roughly, from what she could tell.

Kaida blinked at a sudden, strange feeling. Her trio gave her a confused look. Hearing Scout's question caused her to frown. Turning to face him fully, she took a few moments to study him. Her trio of Pokemon, however, merely stared at this newcomer. Reaching down, she gave Pandora a calming pat and slowly nodded. "Yes. I'm guessing...that Zekrom is yours?" Her father had often told her stories of his past, which mostly included the other members of the Tao trio.

Aellas smiled at the student before her, smile slowly growing as she talked. Clearly, he had a passion for knowledge. "It's quite fine. So, are you an aspiring researcher, then? I'm glad to see some of our students actually want to learn." She gestured to the wall. "My personal theory is that they're so lively because of their close proximity to Arceus, who built this school- which you probably already know. If you like, ask them anything. They'll share... Most knowledge that they have, if you're curious. Even if its something silly. They're notoriously bad gossips." She said, amused.

Scout was glad his assumption was right. Otherwise things would get a bit awkward. Then she asked if his was the son of Zekrom. "Yeah. Our fathers sure did battle each other a lot." Giving an awkard smile, he rubbed the back of his neck, careful not to disturb Sir, who was hugging his neck in a blissful sleep. "I... I'm Scout Gravior, and this guy clinging on me is Sir. I've also got an aurorus named Mister and a noibat named Captain with me." He patted his bag, where two bulges could be seen in the side pocket. It was pretty weird to be talking with someone whose father is one that his own father destroyed cities while fighting, neither side being victorious. "So, uh, what's your name?"

MissSoulfulPoetKat MissSoulfulPoetKat

Kaida couldn't help but relax a little. "They sure did." A small smile crept onto her face. "My name is Kaida Ayers. This is Pandora, Hydra and Phantom." She pointed to each pokemon respectively. Hydra sniffed in Scout's direction while Pandora merely stayed in place, studying him. Phantom didn't seem to care at the moment. After all, he didn't perceive Scout as a threat, though later he might be the victim of a ghostly prank. The ghost and fire type could be very mischievous when he felt like it.

"Oh well I'm currently going to, um, English class I believe." Leon struggled a little to remember what class he had at that hour, but remembered because he had it in a little piece of paper he found in his pocket. Scrunching up the piece of paper, he placed it back in his pocket for later use and leaned down a little to pet Leo, who was sitting and looking at Tyra curiously. The boy did notice some kind of stone in her hair. "By the way, if you don't mind me asking, what's that in your hair, it looks really pretty." He raised his hand and pointed at the stone with a curious look on his face.

Charcoal_Lilly50 Charcoal_Lilly50

"English huh? Well that class isn't far from where we are actually." Looking over her shoulder in the direction of the classroom before turning her attention back to Leon and Leo. Though when her bluish green eyes fell on the boy they were met with curiosity, and Leon point to her hairclip. "This?" She questioned as her index and middle finger touched the multicolored stone she wore. "Well it's my keystone, I am able to mega evolve my Pokémon with it," a smile on her face as she spoke. An idea popped into her head though. Pulling out one of her Poke Balls she hit the button to make it grow before tossing it in the air. Out of the light came her Sceptile who stood by her side, almost towering over her. On his upper arm he wore an arm band that held his mega stone. "Coal here is who I share that bond with."
RoninN7 RoninN7

"Whoa, that's really cool!" Leon had seen lots of wild Pokemon in person throughout his lifetime, but he'd never seen a started Pokemon, and much less one that could mega-evolve, so this was quite the moment for him. Leo himself made a small sound before lunging forward, curiously sniffing the Sceptile that stood tall in front of him, very unsure of what to make of the situation. "Is your Sceptile aggressive at all?" The boy had noticeable concern in his voice, mainly for his Luxio since he had gotten close to the Pokemon and was probably over-stepping his bounds a little. He had to admit, though, that getting to meet someone who had developed a strong enough bond with a Pokemon to access the power of mega-evolution was also quite special for Leon, and was just the type of bond he hoped to develop with Hexie, since Alakazam was the only Pokemon in his party's current evolution line that could mega-evolve.

Charcoal_Lilly50 Charcoal_Lilly50

Tyra giggled as she watched the Luxio boldly make a move towards her partner, "You're very brave Leo. I admire that." Hearing the boy ask if her Pokémon was aggressive, while noting his concern, looked at him and gave a small pout. "No not at all, he's a friendly giant," she looked into Coal's yellow eyes before a tiny smile appeared, "The only time he's aggressive is when I'm in any danger or the rest of my Pokémon are. But you don't have to worry about that." Looking at Leon her smile got a bit bigger, "Come on, I should get you to class so you can find a good seat." With that she turned around and started leading the way towards the English class, Coal right at her side.

Hmm. If the unown would answer questions... Maybe they could tell him where his father was. No that was rediculous. His father didn't care about him so Artemis didn't care about his father. Instead he asked a different question just to test the unown. "How many fingers am I holding behind my back?" He asked the wall of eyes and letters. "And you can't peek by using the other wall to look behind me!" The unown formed themselves into the word three. They were right. Artemis looked behind him. No unown behind him. "Impressive!" He said. "I should probably get to class now. I have..." Artemis checked his schedule wich he had memorized and saved in his brain. "English!" Artemis checked again just to be sure. "Yep that's it."

As the left their room, placed her hands in her pocket. Bianca sudden question about Blooms apparent physical abuse made the Lilligant gasp, or at least the motions of it seeing as she had no discernible mouth. The look on her face when Bianca asked her was priceless. "Omega good job." she thought to herself as she gave hidden thumbs up to Bianca. Useless, she knew, but seeing Bloom a little guilty about her treatment towards her made up for it.

Shrugging her shoulder Avery responded," Yeah, she can be pretty rough a lot of the time." Bloom felt a sting in her chest. Had she really been all that bad, turning to her trainer, Bloom began apologetically bowing. Avery held in a chuckle before continuing on. "But I'm not the type of person built for nice and easy. She tried that treatment before and it hadn't really worked in her favor so she went to something that did."

Avery wasn't the easiest person to deal with. If she wasn't studying or dealing with plant Avery could careless about doing anything else productive. Nothing at all bothered her and her motivations to do anything else was nonexistent. There was a brief moment when Bloom had asked her nicely whilst a Petilil. She nagged her to fold her clothes, throw away the chip bag in the trash bin, even begged her to not track dirt into the living room. All was met with an apathetic shrug and halfheartedness that had shown being nice with Avery did nothing. Thus came the headbutting and soon after, the waves of pain. It's gotten better after she evolved into a Lillilgant but the inclusion of hands did not make for a great addition. Turning to Bloom who seemed at odds whether to be guilty or be justified in her action peeked up at Avery who was now looking down at her. Casually, she took her hand out of her overall pocket and grabbed onto Bloom's, the two now walking hand in hand.

"Well, if she wasn't here I'd probably never even made it this far, let alone to class." she chuckled finally letting it out. Quite a rare thing for Avery to do in front of others, but then again, not a lot of things made her laugh.

"That said, uhm." she paused, mumbling to herself. "Hmm, what is the normal progression of this?"

"Oh, what about you? Are you always one to scream in the morning?" she inquired, the memory of being woken up by a scream dawdling in her mind. Avery hoped not or she'd have to apply for another roommate.

"Come on boy!" Leon leaned and scratched behind the Luxio's ear a bit before staring to walk with Tyra, Leo following close behind. "By the way, you never said what class you were going to." Since this wasn't the largest of schools in terms of student population, he wouldn't be surprised if they had the same class, but it was also a school and, if he remembered correctly, schools give out different schedules to each student. The hallways were rather big, in accordance with the size of the whole school, it almost felt like one small town dedicated to special Pokemon trainers. As they approached the classroom, Leon couldn't help but feel some jitters about his first day of classes, his teachers, and his potential classmates.

"I've got history this morning. Though I'm excited for it, learning about the past will help me achieve my goals." Hand on the back of her head as she looked up at the ceiling with a grin. Coal on the other hand rolled his eyes as he gave a smile, nudging the girl's arm. Tyra's arms fell to her sides as she chuckled, "I know Coal, I'm paying attention." As they neared the classroom she glanced at Leon who seemed to be nervous. "Hey," placing a hand on his shoulder as she gave him a reassuring smile, "Don't sweat it, you'll be fine. You'll probably find some of your friends in the same class. Or you'll make some new ones." Letting her hand fall to her side again she looked over at the Unown on the walls spelling out greetings to everyone.

Aellas smiled as he talked to the unown. It never failed to interest her how students reacted to the news. Instead of asking a question about them, this student asked how many fingers he was hiding. Good. They wouldn't normally answer questions about themselves, anyway. At the reminder of classes, she blinked. Oops. I got distracted. "Yeah, we'll be late if we don't go now. You can be late, but it looks bad if I am." She smiled, tapping the walls. "And they won't hesitate to tell on me, either." She started to go, figuring that the student would follow if he wanted. She had to hurry.

"Oh?" Bianca listened to the other girl explain that the roughness was out of necessity. Well, that makes sense. "Well, if nothing else, its made you all the stronger, right?" She wondered. If I had a pokemon that acted like that, I might be stronger, too. Instead, she had Jack- who she loved dearly- who was a bit of a spoiled brat.

Then, suddenly, she changed the subject, asking about her screaming from earlier that morning. "Uh, that...." Although she couldn't see it, she knew that she was blushing, face heating to a bright red. "Well, no. I just- I was trying to take a shower, and the setup was different from home, so I...." She trailed off. "This is embarrassing..." She muttered. Jack, on the other hand, seemed amused, making sounds that sounded a lot like a laugh.

Artemis hurried off to class. Coincidentally he had class with this particular teacher. "The world really does work in strange and mysterious ways, dosnt it?" He muttered under his breath. The only response he got was a happy "Umbree!" from his partner. Checking his mental map (the teacher was already long gone) he hurried off to class arriving just in time. Breathing heavily he slid into his seat. As he sat down he noticed that Leon was in this class. "Huh what do you know." Artemis said under his breath.

Tamara Vakarian Tamara Vakarian RoninN7 RoninN7

Bianca seemed a bit intrigued with her response as she watched the girl make a "that makes sense" face. A little harsh in her opinion with the two only having known each other for a day, but she'd probably agree too if she heard it. Heck, she had basically stated that Bloom was justified in her assault on her well being regardless of method. Releasing a sigh from her mouth, Avery kept forward as her roommate asked another question. Something along the lines of being stronger because of it.

"Strong huh? I think that might be a bit of a stretch. If anything I'd say it's made me more resilient to pain." she said while rubbing the back of her head, the pain having already subsided. A sudden squeeze brought her gaze down to Bloom who look legitimately sorry about pulling her off the bed, guilt she was sure would disappear once class begin. It's not she hated it. Okay, she did hate it, but that's beside the point. Avery released Bloom from her grasp and went about patting the back of head signalling that she wasn't mad at her pokemom for being a mom. After having reassured her sensitive companion, Avery couldn't help but notice how flushed Bianca face had become as she responded to her question about her screaming. The showers here weren't all that unusual. Cut on the hot water and then wait for it to heat up before eventually turning the cool water in search of the perfect showering temp. Avery would attest this problem from her being blind but just by watching the way she carried herself it was apparent that had grown used to it so that wasn't the cause. Could she perhaps?

"You didn't just jump in the shower after cutting it on did you? The showers are pretty old here so it takes awhile for the water to heat up." she pointed out. It had never been much of a problem for her seeing as her house was also pretty ancient. It wasn't long before her roommates already flushed face turned an even brighter red as she commented on how embarrassing it was. Avery didn't see how it was, but then again she wasn't a very self conscious person either. What to do? Was she to console her roommate or allow this to take it's course. Avery wasn't amazing at a great many things, that also included consoling.

"Err, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. Stuff happens and there's nothing you can really do about it. Don't think about it too much, it's already over with so focus on what's to come ... Like how classes are going to be a pain in the ass." she grimaced, the fact that all but one of her classes had been completely un-plant related.

All thanks to that damned principle who whined about not having gotten credit for classes due to extended absences. It didn't matter if she passed with a B-, it's attendance that mattered. Gritting her teeth, she led the two outside, the sun blinding her upon exiting the building. Holding the door for Bianca per order of her pokemother Avery was at a complete loss to what the schedule was today, even more so when it came to what class she was going to take.

"Speaking of pain in the ass, what class are you taking first?" she wondered, not as interested as one might have hoped but it kept the conversation going.

Tamara Vakarian Tamara Vakarian

"Thanks Tyra, and good luck in your classes!" Leon smiled a wide, warm smile at Tyra for comforting him a little after she noticed how nervous he was. He quickly waved at her and walked into the classroom, still marveled at all the Unknown there were around the school. Leo jumped into the classroom after the boy and walked over to one of the desks near the back of the room, laying his paw on it, choosing it for Leon. "Okay, okay, I'll sit there." A small chuckle came out of his mouth as he went over to the desk and sat down, taking off his backpack and setting it down next to his chair. He would've been able to relax had he not noticed Artemis sitting in one of the desks as well. "Hey Artemis, small world huh?" Leon called out to his roomate in his usual chirpy tone with a smile on his face.

Viola noticed the time and realized it was getting late and just about time for classes to start. She stops her pokemon and congratulates them on their training. All three tired pokemon chirp returning to their rightful pokeball. The blue haired teen walks on over to the building heading to her class. Her heels echoing once again through the halls. Her eyes focused on the book and halts when she notices a girl walking the same direction. "You have History also?" She asks with a smile.

Scout nodded, glad that there was a good chance they were not going to be like their fathers and constantly fight each other. That would be really tiring. "Well, it's nice to meet another whose parent is in the Tao Trio. I just wonder who Kyurem's kid is." On his shoulder, Sir had woken up and looked at the four new faces with his crystal eyes, curious as to where they came from. He jumped off Scout's shoulder and walked up to Hydra and ran his hand down the zweilous' foreleg. Scout watched, mildly amused. He could see the reflection of the clock on the wall in his sableye' back crystals, reminding him of classes. "Oh, we should probably head to class soon, seeing the time. What've you got? Mine's English."

Tyra chuckled happily as she watched Leon head to class, "It's always nice to help someone out eh buddy." Looking up at the Sceptile who nodded in agreement. The duo turned and started walking in the direction of her class. Though they stopped when they heard a voice calling out to them. A smile appeared as she looked over at Viola, "Yeah, guess that means we have it together this morning."
