Welcome To Nebuline
Nebula Explorers Guild is led by the honorable and esteemed Murkrow: vanquisher of the Ebonprawl tide, conqueror of Neโ€™er-do-wells, and paragon of all things just. He is a bird of many titles, but for the foremostโ€“he is simply addressed as Guildmaster. Guildmembers are the peacekeepers, explorers, and the ruling authority on the islands. The Nebula Adventure Guildโ€™s main base of operations is located on Dewspore Isle. Dewspore Isle is Nebulines central and largest island. Primarily, the landmass consists of lush vegetation: forests, and jungles, with fertile grassland scattered throughout. Peacefulโ€“much like the bulk of the main islands, with civilization scattered all over the large stretch of land. Reeftide is the capital town of the isle and home to the guildโ€™s central base, providing a catalog of amenities to its civilians. Kecleon Shop deals in a variety of goods, here, explorers may pawn and barter to receive items to bolster their skillset. Amberveil Isle is a canvas of gold, with rolling plains and the most beautiful sunsets one might find on the island. Temperate in temperature, Amberveil provides a comfortable spot of land for Fire, Ground, and Rock types. There is a single hotspot of civilization on this island in the form of Sunspire Town. Sunspire town is small and homely, and the mere sight of it tends to evoke a feeling of nostalgia in onlooker's bellies. As small an island as it is, it has primarily been relieved of turmoil or strife in areas lacking development. Ebonshade Isle is unique among the islands. Tall, slender trees, stretch towards the sun, providing a blanket of protection away from Nebulineโ€™s burning sunlight. Ghost types linger here, serene and docile in their tranquil beauty. Inhabitants of Nebuline often travel to this island to give their respects to their departed loved ones. Ebonshade provides a comfortable climate to Psychic, Dark, and Ghost types. By the shores, you will find Shadowgrove Town. While there have been no incidents of violence, the inhabitants are wary of outsiders. Auroradrift Isle is the most challenging of the civilized isles. The peaks of its mountainous terrain are visible from Dewspore. A chill will begin creeping down your veins the moment you set foot on the maverick that is Auroradrift, it is ill-advised to travel here without making ample preparationโ€“despite its nomenclature as a โ€œcivilizedโ€ island. The peaks are much more temperate than the surface of the island, serving as a home for myriad dragon types in the world above the clouds. Meanwhile, Ice and Fighting types attend to the Earth below. Fighting types often brave the island as a test of strength, traveling to one of the isleโ€™s many waterfalls during the summer to meditate and hone their craft. Golden Emberr Isle is the second largest, and most populated island in Nebuline. It is often called a reflection of Dewspore, due to how ample civilization is here. While it is home to a great many types, Bug, Grass, and Normal types have carved quite the home for themselves here. Briar Town is the epicenter of civilization on this island, and the premium spot to trade goods and make new friends. Mirage Bay lies on the furthest end of Nebuline. It is at the cusp of the mist that surrounds the archipelago and it is rumored to be the source of the fog that protects the islands. One should not stray too far without being accompanied. The Fairy types that inhabit the island have a penchant for mischief. Outsiders are frequently the subject of pranks, some much more meanspirited than others. A border separates the two vestiges of civilizations that form this society. Glowdelve is inhabited by Fairy types, and its path will seldom present itself to outsiders. Travelers will find themselves lost on the road to the village without the proper guidance. By contrast, Thunderreach welcomes outsiders and it is primarily inhabited by electric and steel types. There have been small skirmishes and incidents of strife between the two villages, but the Nebula Explorerโ€™s Guild has been adept at keeping the peace. Glowdelve sees Thunderreachโ€™s presence as an intrusion, whereas Thunderreach merely seeks to use the islandโ€™s untapped resources to craft items in service to the explorerโ€™s guild. Nebuline is home to many other, smaller, โ€˜uncivilizedโ€™ islands that the Explorerโ€™s Guild advises against traveling to. With many of these islands, adventurers are outright restricted without the proper rank. Uncivilized islands are home to dangerous Pokemon, unlikely to listen to reason. Furthermore, the geography of the isles is always changing; new islands appear and disappear without a trace.

Can we put placeholders in cs or no?

I am flexible as well when it comes to character choices (so many choices indeed), but I am thinking about Growlite atm. ๐Ÿฅน
I got a beloved Growlite character named Castle, he likes snow and ice type Pokemon :>

Stop that's such a cute name??

If you do make them, can't wait to see em!!
Awwwww! Thx! I actually like his name a lot as well, it actually got a whole story behind it that is very close to my heart! I thought about writing a short story about Castle ("Ice Castle"), but never got to it.
He was supposed to be one of the main supporting character (as an Arcanine in that story) in one of the Pokemon only story I was thinking about making but never got to. The story was about an island where Pokemon with trainers once are abandoned.

I am reading the CS atm (Slick!!!!!!), I took a very long break (a few years by now) from rping, so I hope this will be great for me to get back into this.

I'm going to name mine Momo ๐Ÿ˜ญ= Dumpling
Momo the Misdreavus

Ooh, fun! We fr need more stories told from pokemon perspectives. I'd eat them all up bc they're always so yummy

I think it will be! I plan on keeping the IC relaxed but well-structured. Perfect blend for someone just returning IMO.

AWWWWWW!!! I'm going to love seeing all the cute nicknames. Momo is too perfect.

Okok so

Sneasel! I'm gonna do a big sis type whose a terrible influence. Who wouldn't love her? (The cops and any shop owner within a ten mile radius)

Her father was captain of a legendary exploration team, although its legacy had fallen into darkness after he'd betrayed them on their final adventure, disappearing forever.

Stuck as an apprentice at the bathhouse run by her adopted Auntie, she's haunted by his legacy. Forced to live in her fathers shadow whilst desperately searching his old adventure logs to justify his betrayal, she finds herself to be often lost in thought, clumsy, dim-witted, a deep thinker, who has far too much doubt in her own path.

For if her fathers talent runs through her....then surely so do his shortcomings. Is she just doomed to repeat history? She couldn't live with herself if she ever brought harm to others, but maybe if she retraces his steps she can uncover the truth?

///This is all very very rough, ignore my spit balling!

Yes, same here!!! I do want to give credit to whoever created a similar RP years ago that inspired me to think about doing an RP or a story like that (about Pokemon living in a post-apocalyptic setting, where human becomes a rarity). I would gladly eat up any Pokemon's perspective story. But sidenote, my main inspiration was actually 'Isle of dogs", which is one of my favorite movies, consider watching it! (Isle of dogs, but Pokemon!? I wish I got to make an RP/story like that someday ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ’•).

Okok so

They are a thrill already! She needs to stay on the lookout for Kecleon, though, the lizards will make the explorers guild look like a joke when they're pissed off ๐Ÿ‘€

So pretty! They also sent me on a very brief search to find out the difference between leucistic and albino, TIL. Already love the potential for drama in the backstory, too.

I found this picture... it is so FREAKING CUTE!!!!!!!!! Makes me think, it makes sense to imagine Castle as a Hisuian Arcanine (Hisuian Growlite) as well (rock and fire type fits so well!). I don't think it's a necessary change or anything , but is that allowed? Making Castle a Hisuian Growlite that is? (I imagine it might be hard to weave ancient Pokemon into this, but wondering if that is possible.)

[P.S. omg omg omg Hisuian growlite are so cute help ๐Ÿ˜ญ ]

Ooh I've heard of it! It's in my brain of movies that I fr need to watch when I have free time (all my free time is spent being bored and wondering what to do cough cough)

As someone who accidentally took smth without paying while playing a game, can confirm you don't wanna piss these guys off.

I reckon she's tried it and got curb stomped, little birds cartoonishly flying around her head

ADORABLE!!! And you're totally fine with running a Hisuian Growlithe. We can say that the lineage continued undisturbed on Nebuline.

Doing it by accident is tragic!!! They suped up the little fellers to comedic levels. That's the only way you can recruit one, I believe. By endless fighting hoards of max-level Kecleons. The chance to recruit one is sooo unimaginably small. The one Pokemon I have never recruited in the original games <: (

I imagine her waking up with 0 recollection of what happened. Just bonked over the head and immediately lights out and pushed away into a corner somewhere xD

Omg really? I was only recruiting pokemon I liked tbh, but do have hopes of one day catchin em all. Not anymore though, I'm never fighting those dudes >(

I cackled at that- Shes gonna have completely one sided beef with them for the rest of her life, but not even remember why.
