I was actually getting to that, but yeah thanks >.<CHUUYAS_HAT
I am a big fan of ghost types, I am happy you are providing us with one! I was hoping we would see at least one on the team,,, Momo, I feel, is out to prove himself. It can be a dangerous urge when paired with inexperience - especially with their past urging them forward. The moves are too strong, for now. The moves are the power boost meant to tide you over before the big evolutions. Replace Psywave with Confusion. Double Team and Shock Wave should also be replaced, but I will leave that decision to you.
Some possibilities include: Taunt, Astonish, Spite, Growl, Screech.

I enjoyed reading Mauve's profile! You did a great job capturing the "big sis," vibe you were going for. Everything from the circumstances surrounding her birth, to what led her to where she is today flowed nicely and was well thought out. In particular, I most enjoy the mingling of her positive attributes, with the more amoral ones. Seeing where she's from, and what her family means to her makes one empathize with her shenanigans. Buuuut, it might get her in trouble - eventually. And I have to say, that is one of the aspects of this character I most look forward to,,, I hope you give all my shopkeeper NPCs a hard time xD
Thanks!! I do love me a good plot twist. And Slick gives me a foolproof way to push the plot forward if things ever stall!!!Eee, tysm!! I'm definitely super pumped to roleplay her, characters whose actions are in the grey area are some of my favorite to write! Looking forward to seeing who'll be on her team so I can ramble unstopped about dynamics later (and dw, every shop visit will have shenanigans)
And ofc if we're talking characters, Slick deserves his own spotlight. Was genuinely not expecting that bit about his dad, I thought he grew up abandoned or something. I love plot twists, and suspect some more are coming his way! Also he's way cool, and has such a refreshing personality? Like c'mon now, get this guy a fan club. That Pikachu was right, his dad would be proud!
We love characters who move plots forward. Stan Slick for cool plot devices. Thanks!! I do love me a good plot twist. And Slick gives me a foolproof way to push the plot forward if things ever stall!!!
I can see a couple of good choices for teams. I will wait a while longer though, partially to decide on how large teams should be. I dont want too many characters in a team, but I also donโt want there to be too many separated teams!
Loooool yes! Me!Has anyone else been playing Pokemon Trading Card: Pocket?? It has been so much fun for me, especially the events.
Felt that one with turn one misty!!! Ngl, I have done this a couple of times myself LMAO. Honestly, I do love the randomness a little bit... I just love how goofy it can be in some games. Not particularly good for the competitive side, but it is funny. There have been a couple 1 shots for me while playing the water deck, but the funniest is when I had a Gyrados online on my second turn... Karma has made it so I've lost a game or so to an Eevee, so I am sure it evens out... xDLoooool yes! Me!
I had a lot of fun with it for the past few weeks. I have been joining small streamers who have special themed battles for the past few weeks, I enjoyed those the most!
(They have "little cups", "no ex", I suggested duo/triple type deck only battle recently.)
I would say the game has been fun, but I would say I am a little fed up with the coin flipping. (Turn one Misty should be tweaked (or removed!) )
It helps that Exeggutor is pretty strong in this game too. I still have not pulled a single copy of EX Exeggutor ;-;I play it, really bring back nostalgia when I got the exeggutor from the last booster since I have card with that same art in elementary school
Yeah, I do understand Misty has to be left in there due to intertwined balancing issues, I do hope they tweak Misty a little though, so the experience of using her is not just either you disappoint your opponent greatly, or yourself.Felt that one with turn one misty!!! My favorite meta deck to play is Pikachu! I feel like the rest don't suit my style,,, Mewtwo is there for the 5-consecutive wins event. I have not tried no-ex yet, only queuing against randoms, but that is a fun concept for a tournament. I'm sure the meta must be vastly different.
I like them all,,, but Pikachu has a special place in my heart < 33 The last I checked, both Mewtwo and Gyrados were getting better tournament results. With some sleeper decks like Golem and Scolipede winning tournaments!!! I am missing a ton of the "common" stuff, so I cannot put a Golemn deck together, nor anything resembling a coherent fighting-type strategy. Only just recently pulled my first Brock ;-;Yeah, I do understand Misty has to be left in there due to intertwined balancing issues, I do hope they tweak Misty a little though, so the experience of using her is not just either you disappoint your opponent greatly, or yourself.
Yeah, the rng IS very funny tbh. I wanna confess the only reason I dislike Misty so much is because I am relying it a lot as well just for the 'trolling potential' (if you can't beat'em, join'em, as they say). My early mentally of leaning into Misty decks is the thought of beating meta decks fast enough with RNG, loooool.
So, yeah, I have no prior experience with TCG at all before this, my earliest decks are all 'gambling decks'. (Marowak ex, love that card, despite it's just a gambling card, I am sorry, the thought of one shotting an EX that has been spending all the time gathering energy is too tempting.) All of my main decks now uses Misty. I don't have enough cards yet to play meta decks like Pikachu EX and Mewtwo Ex+Gardevoir.
(Losing a game to an eevee, I haven't had that traumatic experience yet......).
I didn't finish the 5-consecutive wins event...... :<
And yep! Pikachu decks are actually at the very top in the meta, I think. Because of how consistent it is. I think the winrate (and winrate dispersion) beats Mewtwo+Gardevoir.
(my favorite deck so far has to be water decks with Greninja!)
I am not very up to date with the tourmanets tbh! The winrate I checked must be outdated or something then. Pikachu decks most likely don't perform now since people are very aware of the need to counter it I guess? I find it hard to believe Gyrados can have better tournament result though! I'll have a cool idea for a unique deck, only to see I somehow only have 1 copy of a common card. Meanwhile, I can't seem to escape certain EX cards : ((
Pikachu is still a threat and is one of the few counters to Gyrados. What they do is put out a Druddigon while building up their Gyrados. Not many decks can deal with it. Buut Zeb can completely bypass it - either one-shotting the Magikarp before it evolves or taking the Gyrados to one-shot range by Pikachu. Still... somewhat of a coinflip matchup. A good misty roll can turn the counterplay into a forgone dream. The Gyrados EX menace is very real. Yeah, Scolipede and Golem are great as well.

Yeah they did Gengar so dirty in pocket tcg tbh......My boy gengar is so low and I want to make druddigon work since all I need is Fire and Water
i am really trying to get his full art ex cause I love him so much but Iโve suffered I donโt even have ex blastoise and Iโve played since launchYeah they did Gengar so dirty in pocket tcg tbh......
Honestly I was looking at more egg moves but decided not since Skorupi had appropriate moves. Though TM can have crazy good moves like flamethrower in some casesGamers, questions:
1. How do we feel about TM or egg moves?
2. We're starting at level 10 right?
