[Stormflame]

A new quest is ready to be taken into the demigods own hands. Gaea is close to attacking both camps and a new quest is told- a quest that could defeat Gaea once and for all. But what will happen?

It was a nice and sunny day at Camp Half-Blood. Even though it was nice and sunny out people were rushing around camp making fortifications and getting ready for the war with Gaea. Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter were friends and they were going to be fighting together.


Amanda sat in the Athena cabin with her older half-sister Annabeth and her boyfriend Percy (who was falling asleep) were making battle plans.


"The war will be any day now," Annabeth said for at least the tenth time,"And we need your help Percy to make the Battle Plans."


"Annabeth don't worry," I said,"We will win the war and no demigod will die."


"Remember the The Second Titian War?" Annabeth asked and I nodded,"people died and this time we know that the war will be soon."

 

[Jays]

@Stormflame you wanna start?

 

[Stormflame]

Right as Amanda was about to answer, there was a knock on the cabin door.


"Who is it?" called Amanda as she walked to the door.

 

[Jays]

James walked in, apologising: "I'm sorry to disturb you, but all others except me had been asigned duties. I'm the only person in the Cabin of Helios, and I was left out."

 

[Stormflame]

"Well I guess I forgot to assign you some duties," Amanda replied,"I have been very busy and occupied with a few things lately. So I am sorry."

 

[Jays]

"Is it ok if I just stick with you? I don't think I would fit in any of the already assigned team." He asked nervously

 

[Stormflame]

"Of course you can stick with me," Amanda replied,"Do you need anything at the current moment?"

 

[Jays]

"No. Not really. I mean I don't know. I have never taken part in an actual fight before." James felt very awkward. He always did when talking to Amanda.

 

[Stormflame]

"Do you want me to teach you how to fight?" asked Amanda as she noticed James's awkwardness.

 

[Jays]

"I-I know how to fight." He protested weakly, feeling his cheeks getting redder. Letting a girl, especially Amanda teach him would kill off all the self-respect he has for himself. "I just don't really know what to do when I go into one. May be - may be I'll stay close and watch your back?" He offered sheepishly.

[Stormflame]

"Okay then," Amanda replied,"It would be useful though for the last Capture the Flag before the summer session for camp ends." 
"And before I leave camp for the school year," Amanda said quietly.

 

[Jays]

"Capture the Flag..." James said resignedly. He wasn't particularly interested in this violent type of sport like many others did. But again, he was always the nonviolent type. "Fine. When are we starting?"

 

[Stormflame]

"In about an hour."

 

[Jays]

"Yay." James said unenthusiastically. "I hope this time you'd spare me from of running after you into the most dangerous areas of the game."

 

[Stormflame]

"I possibly will."


~About an hour later~


"Campers it is time for the end of the summer session Capture the Flag!" Chiron yelled from near the forest,"Please make your way towards the forest."

 

[Jays]

James walked alongside Amanda, keeping a close eye on her, afraid that if he lose focus for a moment, she'd probably be out of his sight. Why can't she just run for the flag, he thought. But nope, she had to go for the battle, everytime.

 

[Stormflame]

"Are you okay James?" Amanda asked.

 

[Jays]

James was a little pale. "Fine. You just go do your suicide run and I'll follow." It was almost time

 

[Stormflame]

"I am not doing that any time soon," Amanda said,"I am not in the mood to fight."

 

[Jays]

"Good. Because I'm not in the mood to earn a buch of bruises." Jaes said, feeling a little better.

 

[Stormflame]

"If I fight my father would possibly be mad at me and he does not know about this camp," Amanda said quietly so only James could hear,"He thinks I am at my aunts house or something along the lines of that."

 

[Jays]

"Oh so it wasn't because I begged you not to. Nice to know that my words have no weight at all." He said this rather plesantly, not having to fight as much. "So are we going to stay behind and protect the Flag?" He said hopefully.

 

[Stormflame]

"I think I will," Amanda said

 

[Jays]

"Good." James said, looking at Amanda approvingly. "I'd hate to see you get hurt." He added quietly.

 

[Stormflame]

"So what would you be doing after the summer session ends?" Amanda asked,"Will you be with family?"
