Magic: Earth
Fighting Style: Uses big attacks and magic to deal damage and bring attention to him, while defending his allies. Earth walls, pillars, and boulders are common when magic is used, including crushing these and using the shards as projectiles. He is the fortress that defends the team, keeping them alive at cost to himself.

How you met your Dragonwolf: Kalorn was always a scrappy youth, getting into fights and standing up to bullies. He couldn't abide those who would pick on those weaker than themselves, and often came home with a scraped face and bruised knuckles. It was during one of these fights that Akhari appeared. Five boys had gung up on Kalorn to teach him a lesson after he defended a girl, but even after a beating the youth was still standing, and had gotten in some good blows. Then, a young Pandrylyr - large for his age - let out a bark, and a stone flew and smacked one of the boys upside the head. This distracted them, and by the time adults came to break up the fight, Kalorn and Akhari had made short work of the bullies.

He was enrolled in training not long after.

Name: Toraven Niltarie (Tor-ah-ven Nil-tar-eye)
Nickname(s): Tora, Ven, Nil, Rie.
Age: 14
Gender: Female

Appearance: Ven is a short girl, barely 4'10" and as thin as a twig, even for her size. She has 'rosy red' hair, as her mother would say; piercing, emerald green eyes and extremely fair skin. While all of Ven's features are quite rounded and soft, her body is quite well defined and it's easy to notice each aspect of her small frame.

Weapon: Ven's weapon is a shield, made of a combination of wood and iron. The shield can be used for defense or as a bludgeoning weapon, lever, stepping stone etc. Quite the useful implement indeed. It is painted with the Niltarie family crest, a white shooting star intersecting a red scimitar on a black background.

Armor Style: Ven's armour is a steel breastplate and hardened leather elbow and knee coverings over a cloth shirt and trousers. The coloring is only on the breastplate, but it's a starry night drawing by Ven herself, quite the artist.

Magic: Ven's magic is that of unexplored lands and hardships, ice magic. As most of Ven's time is spent honing her recently acquired magic, she has gotten decently good at her original techniques. Her main applications of this magic form are: creating ice walls, crafting brittle icy weapons and slowing down enemies.

Fighting Style: Ven's focus in battle is squarely on utility, crowd control and singling out targets. She splits the larger task into smaller tasks for her teammates to handle. When she is dealing damage, though, Ven usually works in tandem with Tonta to freeze enemies in their tracks and shatter them (sometimes) with a strong shield charge.

How you met your Dragonwolf: Ven was walking through her hometown, as she had volunteered to help her family with the shopping, when she saw that someone had been mugged. Some base instinct snapped at that moment, and before she knew it, Ven was in front of the criminal and both her and Tonta worked to take them down. Ven bonded with her new companion and she was processed for training as a Taelesol within a couple of weeks.

The armor is significantly darker, appearing to be black or near black in the darker regions. The lighter portions are still lighter, though more grey than tan or brown.

Magic: Air
Fighting Style: Speed an mobility are the name of the game here. Zerran works best disrupting the battlefield and moving from target to target. This works because he excels at taking down single opponents and becomes less effective the more opponents he has to face at once. Luckily his magic is good at limiting the number of opponents near him and giving him escape if he gets overwhelmed. He also makes sure to assist others as well, zipping by and disrupting enemy forces wherever he can.

How you met your Dragonwolf: Zerran would frequently explore the forests outside his hometown, making notes of the wildness or expanding/improving his map. During one one of these "expeditions" he slipped down a ravine. While searching for a way out, he found Ashka. She lead him out of the ravine and have been neigh-inseparable since.

A dark haired elf with shorter ears than average, stockier build, and green eyes.

Weapon: (One weapon, Dual Weapon, Two-handed weapon - picture for appearance is allowed): Adresin works with a very long blade called a glaive. It looks similar to a spear, but with a longer, sharper edge to it, and with a second smaller blade on the opposite end. The glaive is built for speed and sweeping combat, able to sweep legs and smash down, or even make fatal stabbing attacks if it's close enough. It does stabbing motion over slashing damage. The glaive does have one advantage- like a pole arm, the glaive can be used to vault into the air and perform an impressive leap.

Magic: Fire
Fighting Style: Adresin is a in your face, damage dealing maniac in battle. He’s known for his family history of “ragers”, or particularly nasty fighters. His lineage goes back to generations of bounty hunters, paladins, and assassins. Adresin wears light armor, so he's fairly quick- but cannot take as much punishment as someone with heavy armor. His goal is to do as much damage as possible before they can touch him or his allies. A front line fighter, a tank, a warrior- one that really shouldn’t act as recklessly as he does. Adresin could be a good leader if he communicated more and wasn’t so angry, but he has made no efforts to improve himself in either area.

How you met your Dragonwolf: Adresin and his Pandrylyr's bond came quickly, but not easily. The two met when they were young, with Adresin engaging in an unnecessary battle with some of his so called "school friends". Adresin was never the best kid to hang around, always declaring himself to be better than others... he was bound to get a good beating. The Dragonwolf appeared to Adresin after the skirmish, coming to the youth in his time of pain and despair. Little Adre had lost his confidence, but the creature that came to him restored it with just it's presence. He had been chosen, but their partnership wasn't the easiest. Both Adresin and Baelfire were as stubborn as they were proud, resulting in a hard battle between them before Adresin established that he was in charge, not the Dragonwolf. Even now, Adresin respects that he shouldn't push Baelfire too hard, for Baelfire is only occasionally reliable. Baelfire will obey in times of crisis, unless he clearly sees a better way to do something. He's fairly intelligent, but has a streak of laziness in him, so Baelfire doesn't always listen if Adresin is yelling.

Gender: Male
Coloration: Baelfire’s base is an ebony black color, and bears very distinct dark blue runes along his flanks. He has blue eyes, and a thicker almost mane of fur around his neck and shoulders. He is stockier than other Dragonwolves, bearing great strength behind his limbs. However, his larger size and strength makes him clumsy in the air or on the ground.
Magic: Fire
Stats: Strength Up, Magic Up, Agility Down, Cooperation/Social Skills Down (very stubborn)
Strength - Baelfire and Adresin extensively trained to become strong together, for Baelfire wouldn't do it on his own.
Magic Up - Baelfire is called fire for a reason. He has a powerful gift for magic and can release it in large amounts with little strain.
Agility Down - Baelfire is larger than most other Pandrylyr, but this larger wingspan and size makes him rather clumsy... and he cannot maneuver well in tight spaces.
Cooperation/Social Skills Down - Baelfire is stubborn and proud, but doesn't always play the nicest with other Dragonwolves. He has a need to be dominant and is especially competitive with other males.

Light weight armor to avoid being weighed down.

Magic: Lightning
Fighting Style: Tiago is a close combat hand-to-hand fighter. Rather than using heavy swords and shields, he relies on a trained and disciplined body to deal damage. While he can’t deal the same same damage as a sword, he does have vast knowledge on where to strike an opponent, which can make up for his weakness in power. Using gauntlets as his weapon, the plates add a bit of power, as well as the hidden knife attached to each wrist. The fighting style passed through generations of Siltral people teaches him to focus on precision and accuracy and speed to render an opponent immobile.

How you met your Dragonwolf: Tiago had been training by himself one afternoon, working on precision strikes on a practice dummy. Ikki stumbled across him, but the Pandrylyr kept its distance for days. With each passing training session, Ikki would continue to show. It took Tiago a week to be able to pet the creature after feeding him snacks and talking to him. Though he could see the longing in the Pandrylyr’s eyes, it had been very reserved. Upon finally getting to greet Ikki properly, it became clear that the Pandrylyr had been hurt.
Tiago would treat the wound for his new companion and the two would become inseparable. He never figured out how exactly Ikki had been hurt, but he did make a full recovery.

Personality: Tiago tends to be very easygoing. He may seem too easygoing at times, but he takes training and combat seriously. Despite being a ruthless hand-to-hand fighter, he tries to avoid fighting and conflict if he can. There is no need for anyone to get injured or die without a reason. When he isn’t training, he can be found enjoying his time outdoors. He doesn’t wear shoes as he believes it makes him “closer to the earth”. A real tree hugger if you ever saw one.

The large horns on his head act as lightning rods, the smaller ones help direct and control the lightning.

Magic: Lightning
Personality: Despite his somewhat flashy markings, he’s anything but outgoing. Ikki tends to keep himself or Tiago and takes his time making friends. He really doesn’t like conflict and will turn tail instead of facing it head on. But, he does know when to suck it up, even if it’s hard sometimes.
Stats: Accuracy Up, Bravery Down, Speed Up, Strength Down
Accuracy: Much like Tiago, Ikki concentrates his attacks on vital points.
Bravery: Ikki is very shy and rather skittish. If he isn’t backed into a corner, he sees no reason to fight and would rather turn tail. Hopefully this can be addressed with training.
Speed: What he lacks in power, he makes up for in speed.
Strength: Having a leaner frame, he isn’t as heavy as a hitter as some others.​
