Loved how Ari gradually did better with each section. I think it's a nice little character development sequence. Also, I don't mean to sound like a volleyball nerd, but I love the way you described the game. The technical terms, mentioning the zones; made me feel a little more immeresed.

Oh, feel free to sound like a volleyball nerd, lol. I've been looking up tournament rules just to make sure I don't make too many mistakes. And thank you ^^ my personal favorite part in writing it was their progression from hitting themself in the face with a ball to hitting other people in the face with the ball

There are multiple teams. Five in total. All of them are different in whether they are mixed sex or one gender. But all of these five teams are playable.

Lakeside (Though I'm pretty sure Lake is all filled up at this point since Rusty called DS): Mixed Gender
Fuhai: All-Male
Meiwa: Mixed Gender
Taku: All-male
Tenshi: Mixed Gender

There are some mixed teams, but not all of them are. And all of the teams are different in their strategies. The interest check gives a good description of all of them. Hope this answers your question!

Alright, we got one new character sheet down. Once we get the rest up and going, then we'll be clear to start. We didn't get too many new players, not even enough to fill an entire team, but that's fine. NPCs will get the job done! Still, until we start, I'll continue bumping the interest check and let's have faith that we get some more members.

Bleghhh, sorry for not responding sooner—finals week had me swamped in work to get done.
I wasn't really sure what team to go for! And wow, these character sheets have a lot of history to them. Is there any team you guys suggest writing for? (I'm more comfortable writing females because obv. reasons, but I'd rather write a male for a full team than a girl for an empty one haha)

also, i was wondering as to why i didn’t get the little “you got mentioned in [interest check thread]!!” notification, and when i got my sneaky little way to check it, i found out that shark mentioned my old username instead of the new one I got rnso ermm yes i am the very sexy and hot very cool very the best dude that wrote the fuhai interest checkjust letting y’all know because my craving for attention is a bottomless pit

There are no teams that I would suggest writing for per say, because I think all of them will be great. But, if you'd rather have a girl character, I would give you Meiwa as an option. It's a mixed gender team so you'll get your girl there, and you'll also be giving Arii a player to interact with other than NPC's if we don't get anymore interest. Honestly, go for whatever makes you more comfortable/gives you more interest.

I love how we're all giving different team recommendations lol

It's alright! We just finished finals last week and that was rather hectic, so I understand your deal here. And you've gotten some pretty good suggestions here from everyone. I can't pick which one would be best. Except for with Lakeside, Minma . I believe Rusty is going to fill the final spot on the roster with a defensive specialist. So the team is full now.

Fuhai and Meiwa on the other hand do need players, so I'd say those are your best options if you want a team that isn't all NPCs. Both are mixed-sex teams as well. If you do decide to take the NPC route, Taku is still available.

Said the wrong thing again, my fault. Yomi, Fuhai is an all-boys team and Meiwa is mixed. So if you want to make a girl character, then Meiwa would be your go-to. Thank you for correcting me, Alpha.

Yes I love Kenma and when I saw the description for Taku I felt very inspired to make an OC based on him cause it seemed fitting! And I'm very excited to see how this roleplay will turn out!
