Joe watched from the trees on the other side of the fence. He quietly climbed a tree that had an overhanging branch. Clambering along it he was soon just above the soldiers but hidden from their sight

Kitty's ears picked up a sound not even the soldiers could hear. They twitched and she smiled softly, thinking to herself.

John looked around at the soldiers and nodded for the medic to approach again. He slowly walked towards Alex and stopped and looked at him for some kind of signal that he can approach.

Kitty watched the medic with interest, never seeing anyone like him. He was looking at Alex but Kitty knew Alex couldn't answer. He was slipping in and out of consciousness and being polite and slow was not good.

Calla nodded simply to John, running her hand down one of Alex's arms as her tail brushed across his forehead. She looked to her other friends with a worried expression before smiling slightly, knowing she would have to be strong for the others.
