Fandom Overwatch- A New Age(Rp)

"And I didn't know chimps could speak. We're all learning something new today," Blue replied, though he smiled at Sampson to let him know he was joking.

Orion turned back around and began to clank forward. Each step it made shook the floor. Orion stopped and plugged himself into a monitor. the monitor projected a sphere expanded and contracted as a voice came from it. "I am Orion. I know that some of you are scared and startled to see a massive omnic built for war to be here. Believe me i am to. Are there any other omnics around here? I have been alone for i don't know how long."

Rycerz turned away from Masquerade to the OR-14 in front of them. "Wouldn't be a rag-tag team without an Omnic, yeah?" She joked.

Orion turned and looked at the former crusader. The sphere that was orion's conscience spoke up, "Your a crusader? You killed my kind! Granted they were evil but still you killed them!" Orion was less angry and more upset instead. The OR14 slowly stepped backwards in fear as he realized that this crusader could and might kill him.

Rycerz tilted her head, not moving as accusations were hurled at her. "I was a Rycerz, Orion. I didn't do the killing." She said, moving her spear to her back and raising her arms in surrender as a show of good faith. "You can trust me, I never wanted to kill anyone."

Blue blinked at the accusations of murder against Rycerz. He glanced at the woman, who to him, didn't seem the type that enjoyed killing or hurting others. She seemed like someone who had seen too much already, and just wanted peace.

"No-one here will hurt you Orion," Blue said, "We're a team here."

"You have no idea what i have seen... Standing down..." The OR14 disconnected itself from the monitor and sat down with a floor trembling *THUMP!!!*. It just sat there as if it was waiting for orders.

Rycerz looked at everyone, her arms still raised. "I..." She had no idea what to say, for a minute she thought she was going to be shot at, but luckily that never happened. "Gdybyś tylko wiedział...(If only you knew)" She muttered.

Blue looked between the machine and Rycerz, discomfort eating away at him, but he couldn't imagine how it must have felt for Rycerz. To not only be accused of murder, but genocide? Blue had no idea if it was true, but when he looked at Rycerz and saw how distraught she looked.... He couldn't help but believe her.

"Rycerz? Are you alright?" He asked.

Orion's chest opened up and a holographic video was projected. It was a battle between omnics and crusaders. Both omnics and the crusaders took losses but for every crusader killed three OR14's were taken out. It was bloody for BOTH sides. but the crusaders slaughtered the OR14's. The holo video ended and Orion's body seemed to say, "Now do you get it? Now do you get why i am angry?"

Blue's insult calling him mad did not faze Masquerade. In fact, he himself knew he was a psycho in the first place. But an Omnic? This was completely unexpected, Masquerade had to admit. He'd never imagine a bastion unit waltzing in and deciding to join some Overwatch operation. Putting his chair back into place and resting on it again, Masquerade listened to their little drama between the former crusader and the OR14 that called himself Orion. Something about this situation seemed quite hilarious. Perhaps its the OR14's presence? Watching the video, Masquerade seemed to understand why the omnic disliked humans, though he found it difficult to even pretend to feel bad for the robot. In fact, he even began laughing, and it wasn't the friendly kind. There was something disturbing in his voice. "Well, don't you find it ironic that you decided to accept an invitation from Overwatch? I mean, most of them shot omnics for a living."

"I want to make a difference. And you Disregard that?" Orion spoke from his own body for the first time in decades. "I can't believe that you would say that i cant be with you. You are supposed to help not discourage. If i got that wrong then i could just leave. Since none of you seem to want me here. Typical humans hating omnics. I get it. I've seen it too much to mistake it."

Rycerz looked down, she knew about it, all too well in fact. "You've never had to hold your best friend in your arms as their life slipped away like grains of sand between your fingers... Yes, more of your kind may have died, but their deaths came swiftly. They probably didn't feel pain. You probably didn't grieve like we did, almost incapable to continue because of the death toll that just seemed to rise and rise and rise..." She released a heavy sigh. "Not every person is the same Orion. Just because I fought with the Crusaders doesn't make me a murderer..." She told him, glaring but her eyes showing her pain as she turned and moved to a corner, separating herself from the group.

"I... I... I'm sorry... Your right... I never grieved... Not because i didn't want to.... But because i can't. I can feel pain and sadness but i can't cry or sob or even express anything other than a blank stare." He put out his massive hand and gently closed it around hers. He left an opening so she wouldn't be crushed and so she could let go if she wanted to. "Let's not dwell on the past. It's clearly making you upset. Humans ask if we can dream. We can. I dream of flying. It's fun to see the world from above. Then i activate and realize it isn't real."

Blue was glad to see that the omnic had calmed down, somewhat. But he hated seeing Rycerz so upset. He couldn't imagine what the woman had gone through, seeing her comrades, her friends, dying before her eyes. Having to watch them suffer, feeling helpless because nothing could be done to save them. He glanced at the others, at Sampson, Lightning Bug, Kimiko and even Masquerade, and couldn't imagine how it would feel if he had to see any of them die.

He awkwardly gripped his robotic forearm, feeling the cold steel bite into his human hand. He attempted a smile at Orion.

"You're expressing now," he said, "You're showing comfort. Empathy."

Rycerz looked up to Orion. She sort of wanted to be alone, but he was making an effort to apologize, so she left it. She didn't move her hand away, just held it in his. "The nice thing about dreams, is no matter how unrealistic they may be, at least to you they are true." She offered. "I personally wanted this peace thing to work out between our kinds. But it takes a few bad people to ruin it for everyone... If your wondering why I chose to fight... Well I wasn't going to sit by and let others die, senseless war or not." She said, her hand slowly sliding out of his.

"Huh. Perhaps we've actually got a glimmer of hope." Masquerade remarked, somewhat humored by the group's conversation. Staying with these people may prove to be quite fun. Working alone got quiet at times, and even shooting corrosive rounds into terrorists got boring after a while. "I have nothing to hold against an omnic, though I have no qualms with shooting one." Holstering his gun and hiding it behind his suit, he stood up from his chair. "Tell you what," he offered: "If you find me a normal gun, I'll use that instead of my own weapons, unless absolutely necessary. For price of course, just buy me a drink later." He added jokingly. Then, he turned to Orion. "By the way, I've heard there are several more active Bastion and OR14 units that are supposedly friendly. You've ever met another one such as yourself?"

"Sure, I'll buy you a drink," Blue said, "As soon as you get me some fake ID. Unless eighteen is the legal age for drinking here, then we're good."

Maybe if they got the guy drunk he'd stop acting like a murderous maniac for five minutes. Blue could dream.

"We can share some war stories, old man, I bet you've got good ones," he said to Masquerade.

Sampson was quiet Rycerz speaking about friends lost brought back a memory he didn’t want to remember. Gunshots, and explosions everywhere. A pair of kind eyes closing for the last time, as all Sampson could do was barely save his own skin. He put himself back into the prod ignoring the conversation. He finished the creation, and stabbed the air. An audible zapping filled the air. "Eureka" he muttered.

Lucia watched the Omnic, worried for multiple reasons. He was an Omnic and that was fine . . . ish, but she couldn't really hate him, not when she remembered Efi from Numbani, and Orisa, and the fact that Omnics could help as well as hurt. No, the real problem was that he was clearly traumatized, along with what seemed like everyone else in the room- except for the Masquerade guy, because of course, he was the only one who seemed fine. Everyone else, though? She'd have to start making a list of triggers. And Lucia knew she was probably being hypocritical- after all, she had her own things she didn't think about- but she didn't have clinical PTSD. It was looking like most others did. She pulled Rycerz aside.

"Hey, do you have a moment? Because I think we need a therapy group, and I'm not old enough or smart enough to start it. I can look into anti-depressants for the Omnic, maybe, and for Blue," and you, she thought, "but medicine can't do much here. All I know is we can't let these people go out on the field, not when the chances of a triggering episode or a panic attack are so high. It's too risky."

Orion spun his head backwards and asked, "Is there a shooting range? I am quite bored." He turned around and began to take a topographic map of the location.

Rycerz looked down at Lightning Bug, her concern was obvious and she saw why. "Do we have the time for that?" She asked her, not meant to shoot her down. "A therapy group, as helpful as it may be, is beyond my capabilities, takes up time I frankly think we don't have. I would be more likely to agree had Orion turned and attacked me, but right now he was just expressing his fear." After that she offered a faint smile and pat her on shoulder. "But see what you can do. I have faith in you." She said, turning and walking back to the rest of the group.

"I dunno, perhaps we will find out whenever we get these medals..."

Orion headed off towards a shooting range. However a door less than half his size blocked him. He honkedin frustration as this was the only way he knew that would lead him to the shooting range. "This wall is in my way. Can someone help me find another way around it?"

"I suggest a door, Optimus Prime" said Sampson tying the prod to his back. Moving to kick open a stuck door open for the omnic.

"That- might be a bad idea." She wasn't really sure she could stop Samson, but Lucia didn't think they were supposed to leave the room, especially since they didn't know what this organization really was. And just having a door there seemed too easy, somehow. If they were supposed to wait for further instructions, why would they be allowed to leave? Was this some kind of test?
