Fandom Overlord: Message From Another Time

Here's my character idea, you know about shadow's in d&d right, incorporeal undead beings that once where shadows of people basically that, well my character backstory in game would be that he used to be shadow of an magic caster, after killing his owner he decided to take on his footsteps and become an arcane researchers, his levels would be spread among various crafting and research based job trees, among with some wizard ones, with a few ratial levels in shadows

For the player I think I am going for an student studying engineering or something, while being a gamer

Thinking of a commander role that gives buffs, gives support, and is able to spawn npcs to help, though they're not undead monsters. Guy is also a demihuman giant, so there're some racial jobs but only about two (should be enough).

As for irl, guy's like a salaryman, who's stuck in his current position

So someone from the upper class I assume? That'd be neat. It'd definitely explain how you got into a top guild in a P2W game like YGGDRASIL.

Just fill out the sheet in Fandom - Overlord:Message from Another Time OC Thread and you should be good!

We already sort of have someone with that role, though they're more of a Maximized Charisma build than a direct commander role, so I don't think there'd be an issue.

She essentially has a large number of followers/minions etc that she buffs to crazy levels with her Charisma skills, that mixed with ability to recruit/manage territorys.

That won't conflict with Niko's character will it?

Depends on type of buffs, but it does seem very similar in the end result.

It's less buff the minions and more everyone else, and even then it's more magic that summons spirits to help which then disappear immediately after. The minions are more situational as well, given they use equipment durability to survive

If you're looking to be a support, you could play a Cleric or Bishop build with some job classes dedicated to summoning. But I'm just making suggestions.

I make note of it because we don't have a focused healer in the guild yet.

I mean in theory my character could heal

Sure, can make a cleric. Demihuman is fine right? Not interested in doing a sort of typical angel/demon healer though could make one

Demihuman is absolutely fine! As long as you can back up your position with skills, you're welcome in the Logos Guild!

Have no clue how well this will go, but demihuman I'm working with is a bafolk (the goat demihuman from vol 12)
Okay! I don't think they were in YGGDRASIL, but I think it's acceptable to assume they had some counterpart. Especially since its lent credence by Ainz not understanding that Demiurge's description of "Bipedal Sheep" wasn't literal.
