Was wondering if it had its own level up function mechanic, where killing enemies gives the full xp gain to the orb, and after an insanly high amount, it 'levels up' and gains abilities.

Another idea was that if you killed a certain high number of enemies repeatedly, then it would gain an ability specific to that type and become stronger.

If the group has the WI “Longinus” it was probably sealed away in the vault, in a cursed sub-chamber of the treasury only accessible by the guild master. RD was probably pretty scared of it since it could PK her without a fight.

RD would also probably be on the lookout for any way that the group could get their hands on Five Elements Overcoming. But unless we can think of a good reason why they would have it, instead of some other guild, I would assume it isn’t in the guild’s possession.

Yeah, can understand that. There's also the theory that the reason that the NW has Ygg's tier magic was because someone used Five Elements Overcoming, so depends on whether you want to follow on that theory as well

Divination doesn’t mean invincibility. I think if the rest of the AOG NPCs teamed up against Nigredo she’d probably get stomped pretty hard.

If we had a Nigredo she’d probably be welcomed among the group with open arms. These are the same fuckers who collectively thought making a literal alternate into an area guardian as one of their npcs was a good idea.

To be fair, FunFunFun is a really nice guy once you get to know him, but still.

Nigredo is pretty screwed up in appearance. But honestly her face isn’t screwed up enough to really set off my alarms. It’s just a face without skin. And as a person who’s had to study anatomy, I don’t really see what the issue with that is. Gore never really made me queasy or anything, I just don’t care for it.

Especially considering that floor 7 was actively based on a Deep Dive Horror game. I assume that Nigredo would be on the lower end for that sort of thing.
