Should probably mention that the same guy who came up with that idea had his oc players 1v1 each dragon lord and win

That sounds hazardous without making them hard fought battles. Especially if you mean *his* ocs. Rather than a group effort.

If I remember correctly, the writer had Ainz basically set a trap that sent his oc players to the dragon lords, with each player being sent to each one, without any group support from Nazarick or this oc group

I think if you meant each member of the rp getting to write an epic battle between their personal oc and a dragon lord, especially one that naturally counters their build, under the understanding that the battles can’t be a shoe in for the player, that’d be a very empowering scenario that gives each member a time to shine.

Seeing characters win against the odds is empowering after a long period of them steamrolling all opposition.

Then again, if you think that’s too much of an unreasonable fight. We could plan it out to be in favor of the players. By having them Be the natural counters to the dragon lords.

Like I said, I dont remember much about it since it's been around 4-5 years since I read it.

Remember that they did a dungeon raid (final boss only shown) and claimed it as a base as well as the WI ulbert wanted before the game ended. The fight was a long fight I think for all of them, some blows traded I think.

(Cant recall if the endgoal was to have them fight Nazarick or not)

I guess I don’t really mind it so much if the fanfic was written for the writer to live out their own fantasy. That’s the point of disbelief and story writing for some people, and so I’ll respect that.

Should one of the world items the guild has at their disposal be the Red Orb? And if so, what should it do specifically, since the explanation for its powers was a little vague.

On one hand, having the red orb would help confirm to newcomers that Ainz doesnt exist in this rp. Bit on the other, we could use something else instead out of originality reasons.

As for its powers... honestly dont know as well, other than the fact that it acts as an accessory

I always liked to assume it fired out an Anti-Dragon Wave Motion Beam.

Well, Maruyama never stated what it was, so I just wanted to assume that Ainz had a chest beam meant specifically for killing dragons.

Addendum: I just checked the pages that describe it, apparently it has *multiple* abilities, is versatile in nature, and gets stronger as it is used.
