Samantha shook her head. She'd been waiting so long for her roommate to show up, but it was starting to look like she didn't have one. Odd girl out. Joy.

She decided to go visit her neighbors. With her having drawn the corner room, there was only the wall to the right to consider. Phasing through the floor, the ghost saw a beautiful brunette. My word, she's gorgeous. Maybe I would have looked that good if hadn't died. "Hello there. I'm Samantha. Just wanted to go meet some other girls."

Prof. Mortimer Voltaire
"Change the subject? But Dmitri, your heart flutters as if I should talk about it. The desires which agitate you, as if irritations beneath your skin. I've never heard blood rush so fast speaking of sodomy in front of a holy man. I wonder where it's gone to." The crude joke forced Mortimer's smile to grow, revealing those slightly pointed canines. As if a deliberate predatorial symptom of behaviour.

Facing the Headmaster further, till his thigh practically rested half on the desk, arms loosely crossed over, Voltaire adjusted his posture. "My assistant? Ah, the girl. No - not yet. I suspect she'll turn up sooner or later. Heard she was Nephilim, now that could be quite fun, hm? I remember last years assistant. Pretty face. Something to look at whilst I worked." He angled his chin up. "You must be able to understand. Sometimes it's an irresistible thing. Knowing they can't hear a word in your head whilst you dream up a thousand scenarios between you, them, and every piece of furniture in the room."

His gaze slowly, almost tantalisingly, dragged over to rest upon the headmaster. Features like clockwork turning downward. "But one must refrain, of course. Who knows when strangers can walk in?" He landed two elegant fingers on the desk to tap in a jaunty melody. "Of course, you'd know none of this? My apologies, poor friend. I wouldn't forget my evening amen if I were you. You might want to throw in a few more Hail Marys. They say God forgives Catholics."

Cain
As Cain was walking to the library, he happily ate his Gryo. Previous issues items of the past he no longer cared that his morning was a bit odd. Things only got more odd when the Earth began to shake dramatically and a blizzard began to take over the sky. Aleks. He thought to himself, knowing of the girls abilities. She was set off quite a lot last year so it didn't surprise him the she was getting pissy on the first day.

The shifter stood in one place, feet shoulder width apart as the shaking grew worse. He figured that he should just focus on stabilizing himself instead of walking to the library. Soon after the earthquake settled down though, someone ran into him. If the ground was still shaking then the shifter definitely would've toppled over, but things were calm now. Well, other than the raging blizzard.

When he turned, Cain saw a rather small, crying boy. Behind him was a trail of dead grass and wilted plants. "It's alright man. What's wrong?" He asked. It only took Cain a moment to realise that the shaking had stopped When the boy appeared. "You met the raging bitch, didn't you?" The shifter asked, putting a hand on the boy's shoulder. "Just ignore her, man. She's crazy. You should've seen her last year. Yeesh." With that, Cain offered a smile to try and comfort the boy. Damn was this day just one big rollercoaster of tears.

Mathias took a shaky breath, but didn't dare speak again, for fear of squeaking like a little girl. He hated his voice, and tried not to use it often. Mathias looked towards the dead grass under his feet and tried to calm down, effectively stopping the circle of death from spreading. He finally looked back up at the new boy, and mumbled, "I-I spilled water on her..."

He cringed slightly at his own voice, silently hoping it sounded deep enough to pass as a boy's voice. He figured telling the other boy his name might help him be seen as male, and so he added, "I'm Mathias, by the way..." His eyes darted from the other boy's to the ground and back again, as he contemplated all the reactions that this other boy could have towards him. It took every effort for him not to have another melt down.

Rynn looked over shoulder hearing voices down the long hall. she was still nervous wondering what Abel's answer and she smiled a him, "let me know," she started to walk away anxious to talk to the head master. she forgot to grab her things from him and she gave one last glance at him and started walking down the hall. she looked blankly down the hallway and then herd a voice "Do you have an appointment," she was a woman at the desk. "oh, I was told to come here, my name is Rynn Salone," she reached out a hand and the woman just stared at her and got up. walking over to the door she almost looked annoyed while knocking on the door asking for Dimitri. "you have a student here," she said peaking through the door. Rynn fixed her shirt and her hair, brushing it over her cheek bones to behind her ears, nervous still. Rynn could hear two voices in the room, is wondered who it was.

Nil Vu
It seemed as if chaos happily followed Nil wherever he was. He had now completely forgotten anything he had plan for the day as he watch scene after scene unfold around the food court. He was quick to grab some chips, sandwiches, and plop down at the nearest table. While others whispered and fled the area, he continued to sit and watch. There were some problems happening with a girl slightly unconscious in the snow surrounded by others singing? to her, a result of a wicked awesome other angry girl, Aleks. Her name was a wild fire of a whisper, and he knew messing with her would either land him a bit of fame here, or possibly kill him. Still he loved the chaos she attracted, maybe becoming her friend would work out nicely for his nosy needs. Seeing as things were starting to cool down, literally, or maybe warm up from Aleks departure, he found himself finally becoming a bit bored. There was still a sandwich left and most likely a hungry Nix waiting on him, but he really just wanted to explore the campus a bit more.

Nil made his way towards a lovely tree in the court yard and leaned up against it, crossing his arms for a moment, before he shifted quickly into a sly fox. Not his go to choice in options, but as a fox he could move around quickly and hear a lot more gossip. Of course he didn't forget about his spare sandwich, so he sleuthed around holding it like a pup in his mouth. He made his way past some classroom buildings, hearing the usual high school gossip. Juicy news about who hooked-up with who over the summer, the drama already devouring some friend groups, girls talking about if fang size matters...okay maybe that wasn't so normal, but who was he to judge another mans fang. As he passed by the main building he notice a couple walking in, his eye immediately latching on to the guy and recognizing he was a shifter, and quite possibly a twin to the shifter he saw earlier. For some reason, the best shifters always came in a pair, and well he supposed it was even better for humanoid shifters. He seemed to be fairly distracted with the girl walking with him, so Nil followed the two just until they went into the main building. And Ta-Da there it was, just as the doors closed behind them, Nil caught him changing his hair. Probably just to impress the girl, what a hot dog. Better try and keep Nix out of his path for as long as possible. Although, she could handle a ham like that any day.

He smirked as he pranced away towards the library, chasing away a few birds and smaller critters that had found their way onto the grounds. His nose perked up a bit as he smelled something delicious. Following the scent he came across another pair, this time just some dudes, chatting it up. Though one seemed to be shaking, and the areas around him was deathly looking. Nil of course was too nosy to just continue in his parade around campus, and walked right over to them. He sat between the two, dropped the sandwich out of his mouth, and gave his best 'sup' nod to the startled guy looking towards the ground. A moment later, he changed back to normal, well except for the fox tail, sitting with one leg crossed over the other on the ground. The tail swayed right into his mouth and Nil was instantly pushing it down and wiping the fur off his face. "Ugh, come on really? Why is it always the TAIL!?," He shrugged and looked up at the two again,"If you think that's bad, you do not wanna ever catch me post Kangaroo."

Raven

Still waiting to see any reaction from Kall, "I think she's coming around." Raven said but stopped from saying more when she saw her reach up and take the head wrap off the guys head revealing his ears. "Um..okay...well she's gonna be a bit out of it for a little while. At least that's how panic attacks go." She said as she saw the angel curl up into his arms.

Raven grinned as she looked at the angel, "She should be fine. Heh I never knew angels to have panic attacks...or any attack really." Raven said then she saw a fox quickly walk by, " The animals here are amazing."

Headmaster
Dmitri smirked at Mortimer’s joke. “The speed of my pulse only increased because of the close proximity and sudden it was. You simply caught me off guard, that’s all.” The angel said, trying to cover up the real reasoning behind the increase in his pulse. Thankfully, his pulse was back to normal so his excuse could possibly be somewhat believable. Although Mortimer was rather old, not as old as Dmitri himself of course, so it wouldn’t be all that surprising he was able to see past the lie.

“I do not understand.” The angel lied. “I think of my coworkers and students as strictly business and would not see them in any other way. God knows that, therefore I do not have to throw in few mor-” Just then, a secretary knocked on the door and began to open it, announcing the arrival of a student. Thank God she hadn’t interrupted them earlier on in the conversation.

With a flustered expression and an annoyed sigh, Dmitri glanced over at the door. “Well alright, bring them in.” He announced to the secretary. “Perhaps it’s your assistant, I bet you can’t wait to what pretty face you’ll have to look at in your free time.” The headmaster said, giving Mortimer a small smile. Of course the smile was fake and Dmitri didn’t appreciate that the vampire admitted to thinking in such ways about his students, but he would say nothing of it. Instead, he simply waited for the student to enter the room so they could get this meeting over with.

Cain
“Really, it's okay. Don't worry about it. Now you know that if you see a pretty brunette you should walk away.” Cain said, flashing him a smile and giving him a wink. The shifter was just trying to lighten up the mood so the boy would no longer be upset. He hated seeing people cry. 1, it was awkward; 2, no one should be upset to the point of tears.

Soon enough, their conversation was interrupted by fox. The little animal was carrying a sandwich and gave them a little nod so Cain assumed it was an animal shifter. Once the animal shifter into a human with a tail, Cain’s suspicions were correct. He always found animal shifters interesting. They were so much more complex than humanoid shifters and I'm occasions, the boy would wish he was an animal shifter instead. Life would be so much more interesting… well, not necessarily, but still.

“Oh? I like the tail. If you tinted it a shade of pink to match your hair then you would be set.” Cain replied to the animal shifter with a charming smile.

Abel
Abel watched Rynn leave, still holding her stuff. What was he supposed to do with it? He certainly was not going to keep it, seeing as he didn’t really want her to come looking for him later on in the day. If they were going to meet up he would want to find her or just run into her at the Q. If she were to come looking for him then who knows, he might be working up another girl (or guy) or he could just want to be alone. Sometimes he liked to just walk around by himself and think. God knows how much time he spent with others.

The shifter watched the girl leave and simply walked to the main office. When he entered, he set the girl’s things down on a chair and notified one of the secretaries that they were Rynn’s belongings before leaving the office and the main building. There really wasn’t that much to do since classes didn’t start until tomorrow, so the shifter ventured around the courtyard, avoiding the library since it was a known fact that Cain would be there at the moment.

Aleks
Aleks was laying on her bed, thinking of how she would get her roommate to switch out. She hadn't shared a room for the last three years and she really didn't feel like starting now. Her thinking process was interrupted, however, when a girl suddenly just appeared in her room. The sudden appearance of the girl made the antichrist’s heart jump as she sat up immediately. The snow outside had abruptly stopped since she was currently occupied with confusion.

“Does that make you think that you have the right to randomly appear in my room with my permission?” Aleks hissed, obviously upset that the ghost had interrupted her thoughts. Honestly, she was upset that the ghost girl was existing at the moment.

Mortimer Voltaire
"Dmitri, you're acting like our personal Pope. Don't tell me you've not copped a feel for the altar boys yet." Mortimer's eyes almost rolled back into his head if it wasn't for the secretary's knock on the door. "Ah, Carrie, wonderful woman. Better on the desk than she is behind it." A sentence which had so many double meanings and connotations it wasn't funny. "As a dutiful employee, you should give her a raise, my dear friend."

Turning his head, the vampire met Rynn with a wide smile. "A pretty face indeed! You must be Miss Salone? A pleasure to meet you. I've heard you're Nephilim? Excellent, absolutely astounding. Our headmaster here is an angel, you might've noticed. Seem a little too in bed with the church mind you." He comedically leant forward, talking out the side of his mouth till he straightened up. Dusting off his shoulders and smoothing down the wrinkles of his jacket. "I'm Professor Mortimer Voltaire, you might've seen me around when I've been a substitute for younger years. But please, Professor Voltaire or Prof will do. It's what most students call me by."

Standing up off the desk, with an enthusiastic glimmer in his eyes, Mort rotated his wrist. "You've disturbed hardly a conversation, we were only talking about pastoral teams. Which I certainly hope I receive by the end of the week. By demand of the school committee and myself. Can't run a school without it." He held aloft his finger charismatically till moving toward the young girl. "Mr. Krushnic should be able to give you a basic rundown of what your job entitles. I do admit, I admire your commitment to becoming a teacher. It's not the most thrilling work in the world." Voltaire inclined his head. "It took me over two centuries to work out what I wanted to do fulltime."

Between genuine discussion and subtle cutting comments in Dmitri's direction, Mortimer was both ideal and far from it. The worst thing about the vampire was how sly he was to reach his own agenda. Whether it be tormenting his colleagues or students on the occasion, to sneaking away on weekends with doctors notes to the nearest settlement for cigarettes and a far more lively meal than plasma packs. How he detested plasma packs. What had vampires become?

Mehmet Topal
The Teacher's lounge was indeed Mehmed's sanctuary Ledger book laid open on his desk, a book which's contents could barely be read as So much had to be restocked, little demons had raided his stock of potions last year in order to pull a prank, he had given the kids a light punishment then but calculating the costs now he started to question his lenient approach. '6000 Rubles, for a litre of ghoul salvia, 2000 for Nymph blood, 2506 for Human essence, 1374 for two cups of arcana...'' he stopped as his ears picked up loud voices coming through... well every corner of the school. Already the chaos slowly taking over the halls as the students settled, soon enough any semblance of the peace would be lost, on the brighter side of the things he had a reason to live with these kids around and that gave him more joy than any other thing could give to him at in his old age, he got up with the help of his cane, took the ledger and moved to his wheelchair. Got a Cigarette from his pocket, lighted it with his magic, put down the cigarettes between his lips and...

Pushed himself out of the room with a smile on his lips yelling on top of his lungs with enthusiasm. ''Open the way, Professor Xavier passing!' albeit what he said was barely understandable way due to the cigarette between his lips. The Hallways were filled with students of all ages but it was fairly easy navigating his way around as the overwhelming majority of them had enough kindness to get away from his route after chuckling a bit, and soon he had arrived at his destination in mere minutes thanks to his reliable Wheelchair... And the fact that the Headmaster's office was just a few rooms away.

He pushed right past the Secretary with a cheery ''Selam Carrie!'' and knocked the door but opened it and poked his head inside before getting permission ''Guess who is going to say farewell to a hefty paycheck!'' ''Headmaster, Mortimer.'' he gave a curt nod to both of them.''Sorry to bother you two but I have the list of the required items for this year's potions class and I bring good news! Yet again I exceed the budget! Meaning I will have to pay for the props for the Drama Club with my old bank account, Poor Lame Mehmet has to catch a flight and go back to Ankara and do the same to return.'' He said as his face twisted a frown and he put the balance ledger on the headmaster's desk. then spun around with his smile restored. ''Just joking! I'm more than happy to spare some coin for these kids, So how shall we celebrate this year? Tea and cake? Or shall I prepare some quality Turkish Coffee? Not that your taste buds work or anything but you can at least appreciate...'' only then did he notice the student standing alongside his employer and collague, Mehmet recognized her as one of his students's from the previous years. ''Selam.'' he waved cheerfully, masking his kind of embarrassed expression. ''I apologize, I didn't see you, Ms. Salone, I hope your summer holiday has passed well but may I inquire what you are doing here?'' Mehmet was a relaxed teacher yes but even he did not want the students to see him acting this casual with his co-workers. He took the stub of his cigarette and made it vanish into the thin air like it hadn't even existed before, magic indeed worked wonders.

Rynn was almost baffled by this man, he was intellegent and handsome. She watched his body movement as he spoke so somoothly it almost soothed her nerves. "Thank you, it does mean a lot to me to be working here" as she jumped when he saw his finger pointing at her.
She looked slightly behing Prof and smiled a little at the head master and admired his angleic glow. , smiling and laughing a little at his small rant and was almost excited for this year. "So Head Master," she began looking at him and moving around Professor Voltaire, her boots clunking on the floor. "I was looking over my schedule for this year and saw that I was placed to help teach History of Heaven and Hell, and I was wondering why am I helping with that class again," she looked up and met eyes with Dimitri and Mort with their very distinguished faces and charming smiles. in the middle of her inquiry, she herd a man walk in. It was a familiar voice along with the smell of smoke .Rynn turned and saw Mehmet. He was going on about cake and tea like always and he waved at her. She raised her hand up for like a half of a wave listening to his question and she looked down. "My Summer was fine Thank you, spent it in London." she pushed her falling hair out of her face away from her eyes. "Oh im here to uh- im a teachers assistant this year" she stuttered and tried not to come off as rude as she bit her lip and folded her small hands. She looked her old Professor waiting for his response.

Yoko flinched when Raven approached, turning his head to look at the woman. It was in the next few moments that Yoko's mind blanked as he felt a tug at his head wrap. Before he could react, his ears were out in the open and he yelped in shock before looking back to Kall. Fuck! Why'd she have to do that of all things!

He gently pulled his head wrap from her fingers and pulled it back over his head, hiding his ears once again. He found himself relieved when the newcomer didn't comment on his ears even as their outline could very obviously be seen from under the wrap, still shuffling around agitated. He looked back to Kall. He was kind of upset that she had pulled off his head wrap but...he really couldn't find himself to be mad at her. Yoko didn't speak, but as Kall seemed to relax in his arms, he began humming again. He didn't know much about panic attacks, especially on this scale, but he truly hoped the small girl was feeling better.

Kall's eyes widened greatly at the sight of his fluffy twitchy ears. It was by no means a disgusted or repulsed, more of a greatly excited and awed by the way they looked so soft. They seemed so alive to her, and she was rather confused when he pulled the fabric back over them. The ears were so pretty and fluffy that she couldn't understand why he'd looked so distraught over their exposure.

"Why?" She asked him as she sat up and bit and patted his hand. Her eyes were locked on where his ears were hidden, as Raven spoke. Angels and panic attacks? Was it wrong for her to have those? It was really that bad? She looked up at Raven and gave her a puzzled frown without words as she pondered the words. Did that mean Raven was calling her a freak? Or was she confused as well? The situation was confusing. Her skin did not seem to be hurt in any way, but her eyes widened in shock as she realized that her hands were exposed.

Yoko's secret was cute and fluffy, likable and something not disgusting. Her hands were enough to make parents pull their children to the other side of the street. Those hands made even the most accepting people afraid to touch her. People just couldn't look past the ugly wounds and scars she carried. They weren't those wounds glossed over on the TV, they were the ones you'd only see out in the real world. Kall quickly pulled her marred hands to her chest and stared at both with wide eyes.

Nix Vu
Nix's stomach was ready to eat itself now. She'd barely finished hanging her clothes and decorating her side of the room. She'd set up her little terrarium of cacti and succulents on her desk, tossed her supplies in a drawer, and crookedly pinned up a cute poster of baby animals and a few dream catchers here and there. She still had a few knick-knacks on her bed, a sweater on the back of her desk chair, and her bed had its sheets on it but it was lazily made. Nix couldn't care less about them right now though, all she could think about was food. "I'll be back later," She chirped as she grabbed her mini backpack and skipped out the room.

She jogged down the stairs and out to the food court right next to the girls dorms. There was hardly anyone there and it made Nix's day. The food wasn't anything special, a few sandwiches, some bags of chips, a salad bar, and the classic concession style type of foods. She could smell the various meats being cooked and instantly felt practically sick to her stomach. She made a dead sprint towards the salad bar, too hungry to let the smell get the better of her. Nix had been a vegetarian for years, there was just something about the idea of cooking and eating an animal that just terrified her. In fact, it was probably post traumatic stress from an awful nightmare she had as a child. Needless to say she was a little lamb and she wasn't laughing to see such a sight.

Nix ended up making a strawberry-avocado garden salad and grabbed some chips and hummus. She sat at a table, by herself, at the very edge of the food court, far enough that she could barely smell the cooking meat. She looked around at the campus as she ate, noticing folks walking around, and trying to figure out the different species they were. For now she was just happy to be in her own little world.

Mathias smiled a bit at Cain, before looking down at the little fox on the ground, who gave him a nod. Wait... Foxes don't nod... In the time it took Mathias to get very confused, the little fox had changed back into his human form, and quelled the panic in Mathias. He laughed a little to himself and mumbled, "I thought I'd lost my mind for a second..."

He seamed much more relaxed after talking with Cain, and his voice wasn't causing him as much irritation as before. He added to what Cain said to the animal shifter, "It looks nice on you..." He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. Social interactions were not his forte.

Sighing Raven pushed her sunglasses up on her face as she stood up, "Looks like your gonna be okay." She said then saw the confused frown ok Kall's face, "Ah damn I hope I didn't offend her." Raven thought then waved her hand in front of her face and smiled. "I don't know much about angels but I guess it's normal to have panic attacks, especially going to a new school."

Raven saw Kall stare at her hands in shock and a bit of disgust, she could see that they were covered in what looked like scars and remembered that she saw a pair of white gloves nearby and went over to grab them. "I'm not sure but I think these are yours." She said as she came back and gently laid the gloves on Kall's lap before turning to leave. "If i were you, I wouldnt worry about what your hands look like, anyway see you guys around campus." Raven said before headed back to her dorm room, she had get back and play something to shake off the strange feeling she was getting. "Heh so this is what it feels like to actually talk to people...well sort of." She said as she twirled her drumsticks between her fingers.

"I'm sorry," Samantha said with genuine feeling. "It's just, I'm new to being a ghost, and I don't really know how to turn myself tangible, so I couldn't knock or anything. I'm sorry for frightening you." She floated back out, but not without thinking several disparaging thoughts about the room's occupant.

Nil Vu
Nil stood up and dusted off his pants, tail waving behind him. “Oh, well thanks,” he laughed nervously,”I’m used to getting teased for it. Yeah... sisters can be mean.” He was concentrating on the tail a little too much trying to make it go away, but he figured if it didn’t bother them it was fine.”I’m Nil, nice to meet y’all,” he shook both of their hands without giving them the chance to shake back. Then he turned towards the guy that had had a black circle around his feet,“So if you don’t mind me asking what are you?” Nil still wasn’t used to being around magical non shifters. He turned slightly towards the other guy after,“Not you my friend, let me guess humanoid right? That’s pretty sweet. My Dad’s humanoid, swears me and Nix should have been ones too. Cause obviously the hair and eyes...haha.” As he relaxed a bit more around the guys his tail slowly disappeared.

Headmaster

Dmitri didn’t have time to react to Mortimer’s comment. Before he new it, an abomination walked into his office. The angel was instantly disgusted by the sight of the creature’s soul. How could such a pure creature reproduce with a human? It was one of the highest sins, punishable by smiting. Dmitri had been stationed on Earth for quite some time so he didn’t know how the Nephilim’s father had been punished, or if he was even found. Lately, God had been rather distant, but the headmaster still had faith that his father was there and would still be strict with his rules.

The headmaster glanced at the Nephilim girl, keeping a calm expression. He refused to be nothing but professional about the situation, although if it were his choice, the creature would be dead in an instant. “You are a… Nephilim are you not? Your father was an angel, was he not?” Dmitri replied to the creature. He couldn’t help it when his tone turned slightly harsh when speaking a few choice words, although his expression remained placid.

As soon as Mehmet appeared in the classroom, Dmitri’s composure became lighter. The witch had always amused the angel, seeing as he was rather casual when around his coworkers. The headmaster couldn’t help but smirk when Mehmet noticed the… Nephilim in the room, who was now exchanging conversation with someone who deserved to be alive, unlike herself.

Cain

Cain watched the conversation between the two. A witch and an animal shifter. It could be the start of a bad joke, but not as bad as any joke considering the antichrist. Once the animal shifter looked at Cain though, the humanoid shifter gave him small smile. “Why of course.” He said before blinking, causing his eyes to change from blue to a dark brown and back again. “My parents are both Norms. I think the genes skip a generation or two in our family because both me and my brother are humanoid shifters. Being an animal shifter seems pretty sweet though. I’d like the idea of turning into a bird and flying around, although flying seems as though it would be difficult.” The boy replied to his fellow shifter. He was kind of excited to meet an animal shifter. Sure he’s met some before, but they never really talked about their abilities to one another.

The room was quiet, deathly ill quiet. When the head master spoke to her, it did not require an answer. Even though the tone was in a way respectful, it got under her skin, the condescending aspect of the words angered her. But she was also used to it, hat could she say, it was her head master. "Yes sir, he is," Rynn looked a him directly in his eye. Rynn knew how everyone viewed her, as nothing as a freak of nature, as a mistake but yet she took pride, probably to much in her own elf, how she was taught. She sighed and smiled looking for a change in the stone facade Dimitri gave off. She looked back at Proffessor Voltaire then Mehmet. She felt the air almost getting heavy. The idea of all of them thinking the same thing made her panic and her heart began to race and she began to fidget with her fingers and the strings on her shirt. Her jaw line tensed up, as she bit down hiding frustration. Looking around the room slightly her eyes getting more impatient by the moment and looked down to look at her scheduale "fuck Abel" she thought to herself.
"Sir," she looked at the head master with a small sense of urgency and at professor Voltiare. "Im assuming your teaching most of the classes im assisting. Im looking forward to working with you." She was frustrated at this point, no one answered her. She raised a hand to Mort to shake it.

Mathias blushed in embarrassment when he was asked about is abilities. He looked down, his expression dark. "Strega," He mumbled, wincing a bit at the negative connotation the Italian name for his kind had. He looked back up Nil, and said, "I'm a witch... My name is Mathias. It's nice to have met you..."

Mathias looked back to the dead grass, trying to force the dark thoughts from his head. The thoughts that he was worthless, and nothing more then an "evil sorceress" like his father said. His magic was more a curse then his own body, and that in itself was saying something.

Prof. Mortimer Voltaire
With Mehmet's arrival came the break of tension, causing the Vampire to chuckle. All conversation with Dmitri momentarily forgotten. The whirlwind of a man was delightful, if not an enthusiastic, grandfatherly-looking figure. "Poor lame Mehmet? Give me a more believable joke." He replied with a clap of his hands in appreciation for the comedy. Even with Rynn standing awkwardly amongst them.

Mortimer tutted to himself, eyeing the headmaster with slight distaste at the uncouth tone he'd assumed. "Hmph." He placed a hand on Rynn's shoulder whilst clasping her offered palm within his. Skin as cold as ice. "As do I, dear girl. I shall be sure to pass on anything else which needs discussing. And know my office is always open to talk should you need any sort of help. Now, off you go. I wouldn't want to keep you waiting, not around us old men." Voltaire smiled, "And make sure you don't get overwhelmed with your studies if it's at all necessary to stop assisting for a few lessons due to work, do tell me. Your education is the most important of all." With a friendly pat on the back, he guided the young student to the door. "Keep that secret of Mr. Topal's tea and cake celebrations. Can't be letting that get out to the students." Mortimer tapped his nose amusingly.

"Now, gentlemen, we should discuss the school board this year and council. If anything we can drag a little more funding from the committee's pockets for our ventures. A field trip this year might be exciting. An overnight stay in Moscow, what do you think? Visting the Kremlin, Red Square - walking in the footsteps of murdered royals and revolutionaries!" He theatrically opened his hands up to motion dreamily. "Superb."

Yoko stopped humming when Kall looked at him, he smiled a bit, relieved. "Hey there...", he greeted softly. God she seemed so frail...he was glad he had decided to look for her. It would have never left his mind if he hadn't and she had continued to suffer like this.

He frowned when Kall began to hide her hands and opened his mouth to speak when Raven came over and handed gloves he had seen Kall wearing before, before leaving. Yoko watched her go before looking at Kall once again. "Kall, are you okay now? Y-you kinda scared me a bit there... Do you need to...uh, rest or something?", he asked with a calm voice though he really was worried.

His ears twitched under his head wrap, fuck, he really hoped not many people had seen them. He shook his head dismissively and began helping Kall to sit up while waiting for the angel's answer.

Nil Vu
Nil was enjoying getting to know the two, especially the witch. He had never met a different magical being and he was fascinated. It seemed as if the other shifter was just as intrigued with him though. "Oh yeah flying is pretty cool, but kind of overrated. It's just all hype. When I change back my arm's are always super sore...haha," he scratched the top of his head lightly. He looked back towards Mathias as he spoke,"So do you have like a wand or something? Sorry I don't mean to sound stereotypical, I’ve just only know other shifters.”

He fiddled with the sandwich in his hands. But stared at Cain’s gyro, his mouth watering a little. “H-hey is that really m-meat?” It had been years since he’d seen or even tasted real meat. Ever since Nix decided to become vegetarian, his whole family jumped to support her choice, not even asking if he wanted to remain carnivorous. So the closest he ever got to meat again was the fake bleeding beet burgers. Sure he knew he would be eating the animals he could become, but was that really so wrong? Was it canibalistic? His eyes glazed over for a moment, but then he shook his head slightly sending away his thoughts. “Um anyways, is there anything fun to do around here?” His forehead was a little sweaty and he wiped it quickly with the back of his hand.

Kall watched Yoko in a dazed manner with the cold/wet gloves dangling from her hands. She still couldn't understand why he would want to hide his ears, seeing as she found them so entrancing. Once more, she reached up and tried to touch them through the fabric.

"Why d-do you hide them?" She asked quietly and completely ignored his questions. To be honest, she was most likely not okay, but scaring Yoko was not a good option. She was cold, jittery, and confused by the actions of those around her. "An co-cold." Was the final answer to his actual question.

To be honest, she wanted to go find a special corner that would make a good home. She didn't realize yet that there were dorms, as her mother had not really explained what the heck this school was. A school was classrooms, right? She didn't think that rooms had anything to do with a school. "Where's Ca-Caaain?"

Voltaire's hands were like ice on her arms. She jumped at his touch and looked at him and nodded while he was speaking. Shuffling her boots along, holding her black jacket in one hand and her bag in another she walked out of he room hearing the door close behind her. "Well, this year will be fun" she mumbled and herd a voice and she looked up. "Rynn are you Rynn Saloney" she miss-said her last name and Rynn chuckled. "Salone, an yes I am," Rynn walked over to her slowly. The woman pat a pile of folders on her desk smiling, "A young man left this for you" and Rynn reached for it smiling thinking of Abel. "Thank you," Rynn grabbed the folders swiftly, feeling Carrie's eyes look her over and over again. Rynn stood up straight putting the folders in her black bag. While walking out of the office she put on her jack, her long nails getting caught in the threads As she pushed open the heavy door with her free hand, her bot met the cold ground. It was still chilly out, the sun gleaming, hurting her eyes. She started walking and by this point its either she ate something or someone, her stomach was yelling at her. She looked around and saw a few lonely students walking around and she started to make her way across the court yard to the food court.
Walking into the food court she could smell everything her stomach got louder and she walked into the line, which thankfully it wasn't long, "more options this year," She thought to herself looking at everything. She picked up a bowl of veggies and a salad with a bowl of fruit . Meat really wasn't her thing. She started to walk to find a seat and she looked around and saw a girl in a dressing sitting by herself. "Well, here's to trying," she spoke softy to herself and walked over to her and smiled while across the table. Staring at her, she was pretty, her style was awesome.
"Hi, um, I-is there anyone sitting with you," she asked softly.
