She smiles, getting up. “Of course! Let’s go somewhere else, though. Throwing spells around in the cafeteria isn’t the best idea, unless you’re alright getting in trouble. I’d rather avoid that.”

Kari now in the cafeteria grabbed some food before looking around nervously as she looked for someone who was sitting alone. She then stepped outside, spotting someone in a tree. The girl known as Raven, but of course, Kari didn't know that. She slowly walked over to the tree, "hey, mind if I sit here?" She asked, "it's too crowded in the cafeteria." She was a tad quiet about it as she perched on a branch in her dragon form, so that it wouldn't snap under her full weight. She awaited an answer, hoping that she could eat in quiet and peace.

Yoko nodded to her, following Faten out of the cafeteria. He wondered what kind of spells Faten knew. He recalled reading books in his childhood with magic in them, fairy godmothers helping others find a happy ending in their troubled lives. He often had wished for such a person to come save him and his mother from their lives, but he supposed that wouldn't happen now. He shook his head, dismissing the thought.

She looks around, and checks her map, as well as the notes she’s taken on it, before heading to one of the rooms. From the amount of things secured to the floor, and fireproofing, this looks like the right place. “Great! This should be the magical practice room!” She says brightly.

Yoko looked around and smiled as he unexpectedly felt excitement bubbling in his chest, "This room is so big...does it need to be?" He fiddled with the hem of his sweater as his ears twitched and shifted around, he hadn't had them out in so long, it was nice to actually hear everything clearly for once.

She shrugs. “Depends on how many people are in here, and what kind of magic, I suppose. If it’s combat magic, oh yes it does need to be this big.” She says with a grin. “Djinn magic is interesting. There’s only so much I can do without something in exchange, you know the drill. But I can pull off some little things without a deal involved.” She says, conjuring a flame to dance on her fingertips.

Enjoying her food Raven looked up again when she heard a voice asked if they could sit near the tree, "Uh yeah, it's fine." She said but didn't see anyone at first but then heard some shuffling in the branches and looked up to see a small dragon. Raven smiled as she closed her book and adjusted how she was sitting, her dress barely moved, to look up at the girl, "You must be new? I'm Raven it's nice to meet you." She said smiling, "And it's fine, you can stay as long as you like. To be honest it's the only quiet place in the courtyard that I have found."

The young man stared in wonder as he watched the flame appear in Faten's fingertips and dance with life, his hazel eyes glowed in intrigue and shock. "Wow...", he breathed softly as he came closer.

She smiles, the small flame moving between her finger tips. “This one is pretty easy. Takes focus to maintain, but I’ve had a while to practice.”

Yoko nearly giggled in excitement as he watched the flame move around Faten's hand, he felt like he should be afraid of it but he felt like...he could deal with it if the flame grew. He looked to Faten curiously, "How do you...do it?"

Kari's crimson scales seemed to shimmer in contempt as she adjusted her wings a little to perch in a more comfortable position. "Yes, I'm new, and my name is Kari. It's nice to meet you Raven," she said, her voice a little raspy in her dragon form. She then noticed the plasma pack, and she concluded that this girl was a vampire. "Thanks for letting me stay here, it's way too loud elsewhere," she stated hearing shouting from other areas of the courtyard. A breeze blew, nearly knocking the shifter from her branch, but her iron like talons held fast to the branch as she tore into the box of food with her forearms. To be honest, she preferred food in her dragon form as things had 'a lot more flavor' in her opinion.

“Whole lotta focus.” She says with a grin. “This Fire doesn’t have any fuel other than my energy, so I can’t stop the spell, or it’ll go out. It’s a pretty good exercise for beginners, since it helps build up focus and stamina.” She flicks it into her palm, and it grows, becoming a ball of flame. “It’s a lot of fun too!”
