Do all of the noble mages live in the tower or might an eccentric one keep an estate near the base? If so her master/mentor could live in one near the base of Kaiden's spire.

They all live in up the tower, normally, but an eccentric near the base, or one who keeps quarters for his 'special staff' down there is fine too.

Okay, gonna figure he has an estate near the base, lives there most of the time though he does of course keep quarters and a workshop in the spire. I'll assume she was in the crowd that Heresh encountered watching the fight.
