Your not dumb. I know you feel that way - you got told to take it easy and not get too excitable.Just wish I wasn't so dumb
Hmmm... I guess that's fair. Even getting stiches or some saine in the US can cost a ton which make no sense at all. (I could go into a rant about how it costs pennies to make some of it and they charge, up to like $100 bucks sometimes for it..)Not to be an asshole, but as an American living in America, there would be something to be mad about: the outrageous cost of healthcare here lol.
Good on Kai and pops there tho, takes a lot not to want to scream with the prices of simple stuff going to hospitals in the US lol.
Yeah but he's just like disappointed or something which is like worse
He's just all well as long as you take this as a lesson and learn from it
And like hey you did something you shouldn't have and now you know to be careful and unfortunately now you have to deal with the consequences like being hurt for longer.
Yea it's pretty wild. The only thing I could say is at least we don't have taxes through the roof as a result of free health care? But then again, taxes are kind of a lot here just for others things lmao.Hmmm... I guess that's fair. Even getting stiches or some saine in the US can cost a ton which make no sense at all. It's not something I tend to think about, for myself and my patients here in the UK.. T just walk into the hospital and get treated. If you need medical help because your sick or hurt, we just fix you. No questions asked - no strings attached...
That isn't as easy at it sounds. So know that they won't ever stop loving you.
Yeah but,. I don't want to make this into an argument or anything. I've heard this enough. But like our average tax rate is 23.3% compared to the US 13.29%. So yeah we pay like 10% more taxes which might seem like a big jump but like in return we don't have to pay thousands for an ambulance or a single nights stay in hospital. Nobody has to second guess or be worried about getting treatment. And like in the US a lot of people end up spending a huge amount of health insurance anyway, so for some people they're still paying the same money we are but without the guarantee of treatment / safety net of not going into debt. No worrying about hospital being 'in-network' or whatever.Yea it's pretty wild. The only thing I could say is at least we don't have taxes through the roof as a result of free health care? Makes sense there tho, good on you.
Also it's not that easy for littlemedia either. Liam is wonderful, and we know how much Kai and his Pops loves our little bro. But I'm guessing LIam before they were adopted saw many temporary homes, so it's a hard feeling to shake off.You heard Kai last night, he literally would never send you away. You don't have to worry about that. I can promise you that.
Fair enough. I don't wanna get into an argument either (especially considering I don't know enough on the subject to make a good point or to trump in an argument) but I've just always thought free healthcare in Europe and Canada seemed like too good to be true. No way something that essential comes free without some other pay out. But like I said, I do not know enough about Europe's system, Canada's system, and heck even the US's system enough to comment upon it, so I'll remain silent and take your word for it.Yeah but,.
