Oh and Edric dont worry about the swearing as long as it doesn’t become a swear fest in here i dont care and even then I would only really care cause I would get annoyed at all the swearing.
Liam knows what swear words are and knows they are not allowed to use them and that somebody else using them is not an excuse to use them.

It'll never become a swear fest but sometimes it slips out like right now. I'm really pissed rn that this site isn't working and that my hockey team doesn't know how to play hockey so I'm a little bit more prone to swearing right now since I'm in such an irritated mood. I'm sorry. I shouldn't be using them I'm a bad influence for your kid here.

Seriously Edric dont worry about it my husband swears more than you do in front of Liam.
We don’t believe shielding Liam from reality is going to help in the long run. People swear that’s really but it doesn’t mean Liam gets to swear.

Ok good as long as you're not mad. I know some parents (mine included back when I was Liam's age) shielded their kids from that type of stuff. I totally agree with you, no use in shielding them from this kinda stuff but I definitely agree he shouldn't be using those words on the regular at their age haha.

It's a very open mindset, but yeah I agree with both of you. No point shileding someone, people swear it happens.

I try my best to avoid swearing, I don't like using them. Even then I find them slipping out sometimes.

Well when the problem initially started it was like 4-5AM for the admin team and they needed sleep, too tired to figure it out. So not like a great start.
 
I also try not to swear. You know, I didn't swear at all until I turned 18. Not that I swear a lot tho. The only time I swear IRL is while watching hockey. Honest to God. Came close to swearing multiple times due to the RPN tech issues rn but I've only let one virtual swear slip out lol.

Yeah i mean i wont pretend like i love people swearing in front of Liam but thats just because they aren’t nice words. But I also dont get upset about it.
Liam knows if they swear that was their choice to use a word they aren’t supposed to even if they were like but Edric says it. I would say well did Edric hold a gun to your head and make you say it?
Of course the answer would be no. I believe in accountability for your own actions.
 
My parents were kinda over protective when I was young and swearing was certainly a no go. I guess it's just how I was brought up, not to swear. I don't swear casually with friends or anything. I seriously only swear out of frustration when I'm alone at home or in the dorm room watching hockey irl lol.

My Dad swore, a lot like all the possible colorful swears under the sun. Pretty unapologetically even around kids and when we had a bird it as well. Yes, our bird very quickly leant to swear at everyone as a result >.>
