I believe it was mentioned that time related powers were not something Riftwalkers were able to be born with (along with the creation of rifts/portals)!

's right, time-related powers are not allowed due to story reasons. As the RP progresses, characters might get the chance to develop stronger abilities. Ice magic is absolutely doable though.

Will just be putting this out since Eimpress and I talked about it but she's decided to cap the anomalies of the Riftwalkers (folks taken in by the Infinity years after they were born).
So homie would still have grown up within the Infinity. Just... biologically not right LOL

Love how different everyone is from each other; really gives out the feel that the Infinity could only scrap together a platoon due to their low numbers.

Fantastic. I just finished reading her and i could actually see her having saved his life. In his backstory he passed out before he could finish emergency repairs, but all that was needed was to push a slot in and it was done. With her skills i neednβt even make it so easy, but she definitely could have saved him nonetheless.He and Elki will definitely have spent time together - med tech being her speciality she'll want to do anything she can to help improve his exo-organ system, even more so since it's analog (a challenge!). I purposely left out the intel about squads and his official teams for a reason such as this. I could even see them continuing to interact afterwards, he does like to tinker with the guns and armor from time to time, he is by no means her scientific peer, but he can at least retain about 70% of the complicated stuff.

Omg yes. I've always imagined that Elki sneaks a real smoke every once in a while - she'd chide her and give her the infiCig and be like "This is what I use. It doesn't rot your lung tissue," but then shares a real cigarette with her in secret sometimes.
