Setting
Tainab Islands, 2010. The Tainab Islands are a small tropical archipelago, stuck in the past (Equal to 1960s/70s, although some modern weapons and clothes have been smuggled in past the blockade) due to an embargo after the last World War. It was colonised by the three biggest colonial empires back in the 1700's (think UK, Spain and France/Netherlands), and named after the native people's of the islands.

Plot
Rebellion! The Leon family have been ruling with an iron fist for the last 50 years, and now the people have had enough of the current fascist regime. Communists, Capitalists, Socialists, Religious and even a small group of Fascists and Monarchists have all risen up. It is time for the old regime to go. But what will become of the Tainab Islands? That remains to be seen.

Name: Daniella Harper

Personality: Flirty, friendly (mostly). She commands a presence on the field and in meetings, and jokingly called herself the "Queen Bitch of Haven Fire and Rescue"
Description: At 5'8, Daniella is about average height for a woman her age. She is of average build, and is fairly fit. Her pale skin uis dotted with freckles, while her orange/red hair is shoulder length and usually in an undercut style. She normally wears either simple shirt and skirt combo, or an outfit consisting of her old work attire (polo shirt, cargo pants), just emblazoned with a generic red cross over the old department logo, as well as some light armour plating on her chest, elbows and legs. She can be seen with her old first-aid kit.
Equipment: First-aid kit. Offroad truck (former search and rescue vehicle she "borrowed"). Kevlar vest. PPSH-41 SMG, P226 pistol with suppressor. Hunting knife
Group: Socialist rebels
Previous Job: A former Advanced EMT in the fire and rescue department
Reason for joining the rebellion: Living in one of the three major (and only) cities on the islands, she saw first hand what the regime was up to. One day she saw how a peaceful protest was put down by the military, and even saw one of her fellow medics get arrested, only to see his execution on live TV.

Reason for joining the rebellion: One doesn’t always apply to join the thought police, sometimes they are the one that pick you up. They have access of all your files, they already know your whole life better than yourself before you even show up to the hiring office. “A good Chekist has clean hands, cool head and warm heart.” Helena grew up almost as an embodiment of that infamous quote from Iron Felix.

Helena’s grandfather was amongst the “Old Guard”, one who had fought alongside the Leons in the power struggle before they took over. As a member of the politically reliable family, Helena grew up in the rural countryside, had had a high level of participation in the “Tainab Youth” since young age, and she was seen as a gifted child in the local school. She was recommended to the city, where she struggled to keep up at first, but eventually excels her studies in the city high school.

It was never Helena’s intention to join the secret service, her dream was to become an Air Force pilot. She aced the aerospace engineering course in university with the old trusty slide rule her grandfather smuggled from West Germany in the 1960s. She was approached by undercover agent when she was a third year university student, and took another year before they asked if she was willing and ready to join the Security Service. In Helena’s young and patriotic mind, the chance of becoming one of the elite for the protection of the motherland was too great an honour to turn down. However, after working for some years in the secret police agency, she began to question the political system in Tainab.

Name: Colonel Markus Fieldburn

Age: 39

Gender: M

Personality: Charming and smooth, Markus is famous for a very charismatic character with quick wit. Often times he comes across as a joker with a devil may care attitude, but behind that mask is a cunning and often ruthless persona. While he deeply cares for the men under his command, he also recognizes the fact that with victory comes sacrifice.

Description: Markus wears standard green military fatigues with red and gold epaulets that denote his rank as Colonel as well as lapel pins. For headwear he wears a red beret that also denotes his rank. He wears a leather under-arm holster on his left side. He has a tall, slim yet toned body with short blond hair and green eyes. He usually smiles at people with a crooked grin and eye cocked half shut. He likes to smoke personal hand-rolled cigarettes which are clamped between his grinning teeth.

Equipment: Markus' service pistol is a heavy .44 Long-barrel magnum which is usually found in his under-arm holster. A pack of home-made cigarettes and a golden zippo lighter.

Group: New Tainab Party (NTP), a fractious but semi-popular movement of young officers and urban intellectuals that espouses ideals of Nationalism, Populism, and Autarky with beliefs in a centralized but efficient government body. The NTP is the result of decades of colonial exploitations followed by decades of corrupt, nepotistic dictatorships with a strong belief in national independence and eventual projection. However, the NTP has survived as it lacks central direction and is deeply divided especially between it's military and civilian factions. Markus is a member of the 'Young Officers Club', a military clique of ambitious junior officers who detest the Leonist Old Guard who keep the Young Officer's sidelined and under-promoted.

Previous Job: Unless you count his time in military academy where he joined the NTP, nothing. He's a career officer in the army.

Reason for joining the rebellion: Personal gain, political and social advancement, minor ideological concerns. Nothing changed in 50 years and nothing will change in 50 more unless people like Markus shake things up a bit.

Pretty much. Also, to clear up any confusion, the Young Officers Club is the dominant group of the military wing of the New Tainab Party which defiantly the more authoritarian of the two. Though both are very auth

This honestly could have been avoided if the Leons weren't so cliquey about promotions, most of the junior officer club is bitter about that.

Reason for joining the rebellion: Driven by greed and apathy, Grinn believes business would be easier once Tainib is under a different rule.

Personality: Solemn and quiet, Grim does everything with a seriousness that Grinn lacks. Insanely devoted to Grinn and her plans, there's little that Grim wouldn't do to see them accomplished despite his concern for her apathy.
Description: Blonde hair, shoulder length and usually tied in a pony tail. 5'11, pale and lanky. Green eyes. Often wears a brown leather coat.
Group: Loosely affiliated with all groups, but technically only due to Grinn.
Previous Job: N/A. Bodyguard present.
Reason for joining the rebellion: Driven by a need to protect his sociopathic friend.

Well, Grinn isn't easily dissuaded by things being difficult. She still prides herself in being the one with best deals. Although thoughts of violence has been sent their way, especially since brokering a deal with them was impossible.
