Okay so um concerns of mine have led me to say this
Please try to only post once for each character of yours in each cycle (A cycle starting when Parsley and Basil react to what our characters do). I say this only because I want there to be no confusion as to what's happening. Nothing will speed up or slow down, and everyone will be at the same pace.
Thank yous! 🙏

Yay. This is a strong preference of mine. Thanks!

Ok, so just to be clear (bc im a bit dum) I should wait for the next basil/parsley post before responding to bakugo. Got it.

You're welcome lol. I just want to give people enough time to post yk, without people surging ahead and leaving others behind.

Yes, because once I write for those two, that will indicate that everyone (more or less) has posted for all their characters and we're ready to move on from one scene to the next.

Glad this will be a thing since it gives me time to write my long posts and not feel so behind because of it! Plus I'm well aware I can be slow lol!

Off topic from that, reading Kuruna's post made me have the realization that if anyone mentions humans, poor Eupha is gonna be so concerned. Humans in her world are very different from normal humans. They very gross looking, dangerous monsters! Poor girl gonna be thinking of this kind of stuff

I didn't think Kuruna's going to be scared of humans, huh interesting.

No, I'm just saying that you have to abide by the one-post-per-character rule for each cycle. The cycle isn't over yet and you already posted for your characters, so please wait 🙏

You're welcome! ^^

Is there something wrong with it? I only want to give everyone enough time to post...
I posted twice for Atsushi so Dazai can have a chance in it ))

I wasn't saying Kuruna would be scared of them. Just that the mention of humans in that post made me think of how Eupha would be IF such a term was used

cycles in moderation are reasonable for plot-centered moments, but they just kill roleplays otherwise because people lose engagement because they get bored waiting to reply. using a rule of common courtesy (if 3 people are involved in the scene dont just abandon the 3rd, etc) works far better in my experience. though, i do agree that whatever bakugo is doing is outside of the basic rule of "dont go too fast to follow".

Never mind. I got confused for a second.

Well that's understandable, but I think this is the best decision right now given that people have made multiple posts with each of their characters meanwhile there's some people who haven't even written a single post for their characters yet. There are a few people that are clearly quite happy to have this rule in place, and so I'll keep it until there's any concern about lack of interest. This isn't meant to spite you or anything, this is just for the sake of keeping things paced.

From my experience you either have people rapid fire posting among themselves or the whole group held up by someone that needs weeks to get a post in. What I would do is cycles with a time limit. Like a set update every week (maybe the weekend). Some rps let people have small threads to themselves if they need to have something happen between just them over a short period of time. But yeah, that's my recommendation.

In the case of small side threads I wouldn't want to see it too much and they would have to make a summary in their next main thread post.

I actually quite like that idea. I think a week or a week and a half sounds about right. I'll have to see what everyone else thinks, as people have lives and have school and jobs and whatnot so yk. But thank you for the tip!
