I would not say you have to rewrite the whole Bio as your character would have been to young to do anything. A simple rewording of "when Yume was born" to when "Yume began to come of age" would most likely work. However I must say I haven't had the chance to read your background and am solely going off Kiyoko's post on it.
Thank God I always update my Evernote first, because I deleted everything and changing the sentence is just so much easier.
Haha I do that same but with Google docs saved my behind so many times. I must say however that this may not fix the problem but from what I can see from Kiyoko's post it was more the wording that was the problem. So by changing that sentence makes it sound like she was not just born but instead becoming older to the point where her clan will begin to give her expectations. I hope this does work.

I would say it's more tied to Concentration than anything else, although Awareness would have to do with recognizing you're in a Genjutsu.I've recently wondered based off 50/50 search results. One saying it is and another that says it is not. Would Genjutsu Kai be considered a jutsu in its own right or would it be useable for characters with perhaps high enough awareness and concentration to use it? (Assuming it's not abused and actual explanation to figuring out they are in a Genjutsu is given)
I expect to start this RP today or tomorrow, though definitely not until I'm actually awake. 4 AM is not a fun time to be up at three days in a row.

Ah cool! Then I was on the right track. Using memory on how the series worked with Genjutsu Kai and Genjutsu counters was foggier then I thought it would be. Wikias kind helped, but snippets of other Rp and forums on google results while seeing this odd fanon wikia were not so great.
