Trying to set up a "townsfolk find out about witches" thing- that would be interesting, and it's not like Cassandra could explain away having a second mouth and a basket full of lethally toxic plants and fungi. (She's trying to make an immortality potion)

Most townsfolk can't learn most spells, but they can learn alchemy + manifesting. You're born with the ability to learn spells, which is why there's a few people in the coven that just can't.

That sucks, though Ben is determined to infiltrate this coven regardless of his lack of abilities (mwahaha!)

Who's the coven leader?

I'll probably make it an NPC, unless someone wants to act as/make a character to be coven leader. If they wanted to, though, they'd have to ask me first. For now, just call the npc the High Priest, since that's the name of the role.

No, you can't create illusions to temporarily alter humans/animals. Just plants and non-living things.
