I totally agree. The speed is killing me. I think a timeskip would be a nice fresh start. But even that won't help if other players aren't committed to posting. We're waiting on four people (maybe more) as we speak, who've been online plenty but just aren't posting. No amount of time skipping and us wanting it to move faster will save the play at this rate. Bacon and I plan to restart the play with the people who really will post and want to see it through, if it does end up failing. So there's definitely a future for this story, it'd just be a bummer to me to have to restart after all my hard work.

Regarding regular vampires and the whole 'become insane' bit, could you please enlighten me into what the 'saved by pureblood' entails? As in...they have to be in constant contact of some kind with a pureblood in order to survive or is it something permanent?

Regarding regular vampires and the whole 'become insane' bit, could you please enlighten me into what the 'saved by pureblood' entails? As in...they have to be in constant contact of some kind with a pureblood in order to survive or is it something permanent?

One would have to drink the blood of a pureblood or original. But since they aren't as powerful, it's not like they'd just be able to jump one and suck away. It'd have to be given to them. So you'd have to earn the respect, friendship or love of one of those types of characters in the play.

No powerful vampire would need a lesser vampire as a body guard, because they wouldn't be as strong so it wouldn't be necessary. BUT, they could use a sort of personal assistant of sorts. I think I may have left that one open for debate. Perhaps there are a few ways? A vampire can inject a sort of poison at will, when they want to turn someone? Blood exchange has always been popular, too. I'd say the both of those can go just fine. So any vampire can turn a person, I'd think. Ugh, yeah, I meant a secretary, not a bodyguard. Wrong roleplay. It makes complete sense.

We're actually about to do a time-skip guys! That way we can start fresh and no one has to wonder where everyone is or what's going on. It will just be a brand new day. So, with that said, Damian should resolve to return to speak with the witch "tomorrow" and everyone go ahead and get your characters down. Zamani is alone in her home now (just say that Alistair left Eleanor's books with Zamani and that Alistair and Kasimir left - because Kry is having some RL things and needs to put his charries on hold for a while). Cade left to see Damian and returned to the catacombs, but will come back again as well.


I'm actually going to change my post with Eleanor to have her still sleeping in the witches house. I had her wake up and leave when we all thought Zamani wasn't in the play anymore. It doesn't make sense for her to have done that, so I prefer to keep her there.
