Fantasy OOC for Down the Rabbit Hole

I don't know. I only know of 4 letting me do that. I can't wait to see them include fairies or mermaids in 4.

Well, cuz I love you guys sooo much. I did a small internet search. In sims 2 and 3 males can get preggers. According to the information I found. I don't know if you need a mod for it or what, but you can do it apparently.

Neatness.
-flops on the floor- doing laundry and helping grandma sort through her ridiculously large collection of cooking magazines and books.

O.o I just had a thought. What would happen if I brought in my sweet little Neko, Rida?
I have been looking over all my old chars and such and I was going through Red Rose Inn.

Rida was adorable. I go back and re-read the old rps all the time lol.

I cannot see Auris leaving Rida alone. Maybe for a little bit if Rida gave a reaction if Auris became too forward, but even Aria wouldn't be able to stop Auris. Much.

Ok, I know it was asked about a plot. I couldn't think of one at the time, but now I have niggle that isn't leaving me be. I had figured, given the difference in mer species, it would be harder for Aria to be pregnant, but if she did I can see her possibly having twins, 1 of each type(fish or shark). How would Auris act if she found out?

If Aria was preggers with his baby(s) he'd wisk her away to be his queen immediately, because heirs to the kingdom and all that. Plus, he'll be a daddy, so he'd want to raise them in a safe and stable environment. Like the palace he grew up in. lol

Lol. I can see her arguing that. She has enjoyed her freedom. But she wouldn't argue the marriage. If at all, I think it'd be interesting to watch the interaction of is she found out before he came back to the Rabbit hole, now she's nervous to tell him. They hadn't really considered, but hoped it would've been possible to have kids together...I can see her conceding if she could create a door-portal to Rabbit from Pandoris. She does love working there.

Auris wouldn't want her to give up her freedom, but he would argue heavily that they live in his city. Since once he gets married he'll have to go back to rule in his father's place. That's the whole point of finding a queen to rule by his side, either one he loves or one picked by his father for him, so that his father can finally hand the kingdom over to Auris.

Which, I'm sure once Aria calms from too much nervous adrenaline from arguing and knowing he wouldn't take away her freedom she'd be fine.

But, we need poppet poppet and start posting in Rabbit. As is, I told her I was debating on just locking it to us since no one else had posted yet.

I'm around. ^_^ I haven't had signal in the desert this week. I wouldn't know where to start anyway. You guys pave the way!

Riiiiiiiight so when I get my profile for Auris made, where the heck should I post it?

I suppose I can edit my first post in the ooc and plop it there.

Could do that. Sorry, been a little extra busy now. Besides training a new store manager, one of my coworker's up and quit after she had told the store manager that she would stay on till this friday.

Hello hello, I will be joining yes? I don't have a character profile put together just yet but I'll most likely get it up tomorrow or the next day at the latest. Also, hi poppet poppet ! It's me Hidden Cupcake from Menewsha! Glad to see you again!

I've hit a roadblock here; I know literally nothing on the setting. May I ask if it's set in modern times in our modern world, or is it some alternate timeline world? All I really know is that there's mermaids, Atlantis, and Poseidon is a real breathing god.

Modern. I would end up driving myself absolutely bonkers trying to research all the info to make anything historical past, possibly, 10years tops. I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist and so I'd have to research everything that was popular and even common from a time period It would be entirely too much. Doing research on fishes to makes sure I have them in the right setting(Ocean) as well as whether its in the "Sunlight Zone", "Twilight Zone", and "Midnight Zone" (As explained by my son's fave show Octonauts), the breeding patterns and all that jazz.

But have fun either way. I find myself thinking now that it would be hilarious to see a vampire who had been in a coma for some 100+ years and is having trouble coping with the new modern world stumbling into the Hole, holding onto the the old beliefs of mermaids being Sirens and devourers of mortal men and such...

Sorry for the delay things have gotten busy over here and I'm having trouble coming to terms with a character as a result. I'm gonna ask one more question though; how well known is magic in this world? Is it just a thing everyone is ok with, or is it kept secret and far away from those considered too mundane to understand?

Busy times are all oki-dokies!! And, for the most part, Magic is known. Especially to the sea-dwellers. Not all of them have the Gift, but some do. Same with humans/Mortals, the sea-dwellers don't get aggressive against it.

Owner: CacklingCactus
Character Name: Sybil Merryweather
Nicknames: None really
Age:
Race: Human, though bound to the whims a fickle fey
Sexuality: Ace
Personality: Manipulative and cold, Sybil has little no real sympathy in her bones, though this is never really shown. On the outside she maintains a persona of helpful and enthusiastic enchanter-for-hire, willing to help anyone for the right price. She is not afraid to use the power available to her to crush those who would wish her harm. Deep down, the heart of the child who pledged herself to the inky darkness between twisted trees still beats. A kindness sits deep inside, buried beneath years of loneliness
Gifts/Powers: Sybil, having made a pact with the ancient faerie Oglon the King of Ink, has an almost natural control over creeping shadows and inky darkness. She's also an excellent enchanter, selling her services from town to town. Her gift of magic also allows her to cast minor spells, though they require more thought and preparation and are nowhere near as useful or powerful as the inky shadow.
Weaknesses: Sybil cannot stand bright lights. Sunlight is fine to an extent, but in order to stop eye irritation or a headache, she's constantly wearing sunglasses and a very wide brimmed hat while outdoors. Shine a flashlight in her eyes and she won't be able to see for at least 15 minutes. Her enchantments also tend to be....faulty. There's always a catch. Sometimes it is small, unnoticeable. Other times it's fatal. One example was a set of shoes that made the wearer an excellent runner, but with the stipulation that you could never stop running.
Bio: Sybil didn't have an easy life. An urchin of the streets, desperation led her into the service of the King of Ink. With her as His devout and Him as her patron, she carries out his whims and fancies when called on. The details aren't important, darling.
Appearance: A tall woman, Sybil has soft black black hair and pale skin speckled in freckles. She stands at a solid 5'9". Bright green eyes hide behind a pair of circular dark glasses. As a true mark of her pact with Oglon, a ring of deep black discoloration circles the edge of her irises. A large rimmed hat decorated in dried roses and thorns sits on her head, shielding her from the harsh sun which causes her so much grief. An overcoat of deep green decorated in the same carefully dried roses and thorns sits over a soft purple blouse and denim bluejeans. She wear a pair of raised heel boots made from the skin of an undetermined animal. Whatever it was did have scales.
Other: Sybil carried with her a small metal instrument. It's a stick of about 2 feet curved at the tip at about a seventy five degree angle. The object is of a magical nature and can secret an almost endless amount of a special ink she uses for spells.
Job: Warlock and Enchanter-for-Hire

Neato. :) Sorry, I'm visiting my grandmother right now and she's had to cut off her internet because now she's broke as hell and having to moving out of the retirement studio-apartment. Trying to do three weeks worth of laundry and help her pack.

Oh that's ok. Because I just realized I had a much better character visualized less than 12 hours from posting that skeleton and I'm sitting over here like 'nooooooo!' But I guess in retrospect this is serendipitous because my other character is a significantly grosser cultist. Because all of my characters end up gross. Hey just ask Kry. Every character I've ever played has been major gross in some way or another. Hey maybe I should anyway so Poppet and I don't both have characters who control shadows lol.
