Fantasy OOC for Down the Rabbit Hole

I work at a gas station/convenience store. It's alright, but its got a few problems. Like, we don't have a traditional, on-site store manager. The 1st assistant manager is rather wishy washy. We have a 3rd assistant who constantly has to call me to make sure he is doing the right thing. Been bad enough I have had to turn my phone off to have any peace. Even on the same days he is working with the 1st assistant, I am getting calls. Then we have employees that like to call out for just about everything. We are already short staffed as it is...

1st assistant is lucky, he only has to deal with the weekends or doing 2nd shift. Beyond that, he doesn't do the full extent of all the paperwork I have to make sure gets done by Monday so it can be sent to the Market Manager, so that he can compile the information from the 15 stores he "watches" over and sends up to his boss, the Regional Director. When I try to delegate some work over to him, he whines that he doesn't have enough time to get it done...

It's interesting that I find it easier to write more of this scene as I listen to either the Alan Walker radio or Diplo Radio on Pandora...I may try to find a few others of similar artists. I blame my step-son. I'm half debating on whether I want to do a time skip from the throne room to straight before the wedding.

And I wanna write about when Aria and Auris met.

On one hand, I don't know how to successfully tell it without a lot of time skips to transition from acquaintances into them dating/being engaged. My thinking would have to include them having met as children possibly, escaping from royal responsibilities and all that crap. I don't know when you had Auris go to the Sea Witch to trade his eyes for magic Kry Kry but I could see that if it had been around almost-teen to mid teen age from, then maybe one of the unintended side effects from gaining the magic and losing his eyes was also that maybe his most important person forgot about him, but he still remembered her. To Aria, she would have vague memories of a child she used to play with, but couldnt remember the name or face of him, to the point of her thinking that maybe it was just her own imagination to handle the stress of having to learn to control her magic and deciding to learn how to be a warrior behind her father's back. And when she "first" meets Auris, its at some stuffy royal meeting between the father's. On one hand, her heart recognizes him, remembers him and all that. But logically she can't remember him and with him being a big flirt and so...casual, so anti-prince like she gets flustered, which makes her mad, because she never gets flustered. Then her father tasks her to be his "watcher" while his family is visiting and damn is she mad about that, she didn't want to be around him any longer than she had to be because she couldn't control herself. But she couldn't leave him alone, it was a direct order, and she was curious. She couldn't stand being curious about things. Slowly she does develop feelings and then he's gone. The talks are done, he returns to his kingdom. But it reignited her spirit to fight back, and she does, and she wins against her own father. The trident in the arena glows suddenly, vibrating in the hand of the statue of Poseidon. Her fathers shouts out, the tridents becomes free of the stone and flies at her, hovering until she touches it and feels it bond with her. Holy Shit. It is Poseidon's trident, his very real, all powerful trident. And now she was bonded to it, Oh hell, was her father not happy about that. He was yelling demands a her, but she didn't hear them. She was running, escaping from her father.

I think it would be after that she would run into Auris again, and being asked to date/marry him, she would agree. Logically not knowing why, but she would trust her instincts. Unless sometime between the talks and them meeting up again when she seeks asylum at Atlantis that he goes to get his eyes back, but maybe she never fully recovers the memories. I'm not sure. I'd have to work on it. Start writing and let it flow....I really love Aria and Auris it seems.

I still need to figure out what I was going to have Auris say that would help awaken Aria from her "death".... XD

He was around the mer equivelant of a 17 year old when he went to the witch for magic (I don't know mer lifespans lol.).

I imagine Auris father mostly would have met with other kings to try and secure a bride for Auris, even at an early age. The way kings often do lol. So them meeting as children could have totes happened. Other than some very specific political meetings the king of Pandoris wouldn't have much need to meet with other kings/queens because most mers don't venture far enough to need to have any dealings with the mershark peoples, since they live in much deeper waters. And gosh. Auris would have flirted with Aria so much, as well as every man or woman he came into contact with in her father's kingdom. He probably would've taken some poor maid to bed to, and a maid in the employ of a royal family can hardly refuse it if a royal asks her to do a thing, as if she would have refused anyway, Auris is too charming. lol. I can see that as the root of some of Aria's frustration with him, cuz I'm pretty sure he'd have gotten caught as well lol.

But during the time where he is without his eyes, he wouldn't have met her again until after he got his eyes back but getting his eyes back took about a year and half, mostly to track down the witch. Since during that time he basically ran away from home, went to a witch for the magic to become stronger. Not realizing he already possessed everything he needs to become a strong and worthy king for his people. Of course the witch took advantage of that, took his eyes anyway, cuz witches be mean sometimes. Once he returns home with magic and no eyes, his father would banish him, the condition being he could not return until he retrieved his eyes. He ends up meeting a very strong human that has some weird abilities, but helps him get his eyes back, then he returns home for about two years. Then arguments about marriage with his father happens when he becomes of marrying age, 20 maybe, and he leaves on a more or less self-imposed banishment to find a bride he chooses for himself. That's when he'd run into Aria again, since their childhood meeting. And of course he'd pursue her relentlessly, and I mean, relentlessly. Other people he'd flirt with, and maybe try a bit to convince them to go with him to at least his bed, but he'd give up on them eventually. Aria he'd keep coming back to.

As for what he could say to wake her up from her death...I've got nothing on that.

Well, I can move some things around. Lol. But, given I have made her sweet hearted, it probably would hide her large and wide stubborn/rebel streak. I can totally see her deciding after meeting Auris as children that she was curious about the deeper waters and if she got pissed off with how her family treats her, after all at the time she is the youngest of four daughters and possibly around that time her father probably killed off her mom for not giving him a son, and so she needed a friend. As a young mermaid, easy target, but I can see Auris even then protecting her, claiming her as his. After a few years, like around her 9th birthday she starts the training and has less time to meet with him. Till it becomes long enough she herself forgets him, her father even keeping her too busy during her studies or sending her out of the kingdom to keep Aria and Auris separated. Probably pissed if the mer-shark king because now Tryton wasn't showing all his daughters. She could be there, finally, just before he leaves, at the next meeting of Kings. And I could totally see her catching Auris sleeping with one of the maids... Maybe her personal maid at that. Probably during or before his self imposed exile is when Aria runs away from her home. Either they meet while she is on her way to Atlantis, or after she has started Rabbit hole.

I'm tossed up between rubbing the salt to Zoltan by having it be a wedding vows, or a promise including their personal nicknames for each other...

Auris does love protecting people, even as a child. He's a predator, but he more or less has a heroic/noble heart. Mostly. He would certainly stop sleeping around with other people as soon as him and Aria's relationship became a serious one.

It's so windy here today that I'm pretty sure we're going to blow over. I always say we're like turtles, carrying our home around with us. Then we'd definitely be like turtles, stuck, fallen and can't get up. XD

And now I have this image of Auris dressed like a doting housewife while Aria runs things and delegates things.

Awh. Turtles are awesome tho. Leo loves turtles.

I've got more to the scene stuff. Almost on to the marriage part. Aria did spend a little bit of time up with the mortals and gained a fascination for the Language of Flowers. She managed to get control over the flowers while Zoltan decided everything else. Every flower she picks is not a happy meaning.
Belvedere- I declare war against you
Everflowing Candytuft- Indifference
Dogsbane- Deceit, falsehood
Frog Ophrys- Disgust
Fumitory- Hatred
Hortensia(Hydrangea)- You are cold, boaster, heartlessness
Hemlock- You will be my death.

She sent Aleesia off with a small bouquet of White poppy for Auris, which means Sleep/My antidote.

I love turtles. I also love the language of flowers. I love how different flowers can symbolize/mean different things. It's amazing.

I love flowers. DJ seems to already share that with me. But so far except for onions, there isn't much he doesn't like.

Ugh, I would have really hated to actually write a rape scene. If it makes the scene better I could probably stomach it, but this time it didn't. But I was debating nicknames and I could see Aria calling Auris Tigger, but on one hand if I had said he called her Rabbit, it don't seem right.

Please don't call Auris Tigger lol. I'm not sure I could handle that.

Someone's going to have to fill me in, summary, or dummy style... on the plotline at some point.

I haven't even written up Auris profile yet. Though most of it will just be copy pasta of existing information. Lol nor do I have any idea where he should be yet. I might need a summary of the plotline too, Poppet.

Oh good it isn't just me, lol. I still need to figure out how my charrie can even fit into the story.

The thread here I just fun with anyone at Aria's tavern/bakery/restaurant type thing. I am just writing other stuff because it pops up in my head and won't leave me alone. So I write them to get it out of my head.

Sorry if I confused you guys. I didn't mean to!!

I just can't help it. Even when it's not the stuff we do. If I'm watching/reading something I really like, my mind goes into imagination land and suddenly I'm a character in what I'm reading or watching. Every now and then something won't leave me alone, so I have to write it down and finish it so that way I'll be left alone by it. But that stuff I have squirreled away to fanfiction and is easily swayed by other fics I read. But this here, Rabbit hole, I somewhat wonder if I could make it enough to actually make it into a book. While some stuff I might change so as not to steal from others, Lilah and Auris are actually important enough I don't want to change them. So, I was going to ask permission to use them, but now I realize I don't know enough of a history to even write them. I think I'd like to do it as a couple books to sequence different time periods and such, to show the growth of a person and what becomes important. And I know Lilah and Auris will be important, I just don't know exactly how. Well Auris I do know somewhat since he will be married to Aria, but I want it to be more than that.

I prolly make no flipping sense. ?

lol You make plenty of sense, but I will admit. I was very confused about when this rp would take place, but it's all good.

Ok. And yea. Rp is strictly just for for whatever happens in the rabbit hole. And nice thing will be being able to go back and look over it all if I get to a point of wanting to actually story-write the stuff with Rabbit hole, most everything is already there. I just need to make sense of what my mind wants for the BRH and the ARH.

I love the Sims, but I wish they had a mermaid expansion for the Sims4 edition. I hate the graphics for Sims3 now, but it was the only one with the mermaids...And in Sims4, Aries and Leo think I'm mean by being able to make men preggers and the women can knock them up or impregnate other women...color selection sucks too. I want to make a Sim with red eyes that isn't a vampire. -pouts-

Never really cared for the Sims, so I don't know anything about any of that. Though making men preggers seems fun.

It was. Ugh so tired. And it's so hot out. Sucks that the Jeep has no AC at the moment. But have to run around to take leo to his workout training. Then run to my grandma's to do laundry. Simultaneously, I'll be listening to her complain about her lack of money but non-regret at spending all her settlement to travel and bs impulse buying on the kids after having been told not to buy everything for the kids all the time. X( I've even told her when she runs out I can't help her with her bills.

I'm literally playing Sims 3 at this moment. I love the supernatural expansion and mermaids. Faavvvesss. I haven't tried 4, not really interested.

What other Sims had preggo men? Because I've played that before, but haven't played 4 yet.
