A campaign that gets us to level 20! Would love to see us play long console to reach some badassery.

Maybe some leniency on death and resurrection, so we can more heavily invest in characters without fear a bad roll can remove it all away.

And indeed loot and exciting battles. As well as character progression, fun arcs, being heroes, fun villains, intriguing challenges, and the like. And of course, players accidentally changing the course of the story in ways we never expected.

As well as chances to have skills matter as much as combat!

Like Sherwood. There is nothing I dont want to see. I think with the group we have, we can find a way to have fun with anything thrown at us.

I agree with both D. Rex and Sherwood. I would love to see this game get to higher levels, giving me a chance to really rock and roll with Nyx.

People these days - now they even want to survive for longer than the first encounter... and loot, too , as if this was some heroic quest or something... all my plans, ruined... other than that, those things mostly sound like what I'm trying to do, though, so that's good.

I would like to have lots of fun character development!! I am excited to see how everyone is together. I will totally update my CS this weekend. The workweek has been- oooof

Fun? Now it's getting ridiculous... nah, I hope there's lots of room for characters to grow in one direction or another.

Have been busy the last two days myself, but should have everything in place to start at some point this week-end. Raynie, you mostly have mechanical stuff to still deal with, right? Or do you expect any major concept changes before we begin?

Also, given the availability of stables, would Grit leave his weasel in there, or would he just let it freely run around?

Depends on if they'd allow it or not given his stigmatized status.

If they didn't allow it, he'd leave it outside to forage for grubs or nap until he called for it.

No major concepts. Just those issues you pointed out and I may flesh out more about the troupe he was running around with.

Sounds good to me - figured it'd mostly be that last bit of mechanical stuff, just thought I'd ask to be sure. I'll continue my doings in the workshop, then, see if I can get us started. Gotta say, I'm damn excited to see how this works out - this is totally not the kind of group I ecpected when I typed down the first ideas, and that's awesome.

What kind of groups were you expecting lol?

Hard to say, actually... I planned with fewer kobolds and minotaurs, and with more characters who'd just disregad all but one faction by default. Close-minded military being one of those, yes. Instead, I'm getting all the awesomeness and options.

Ah! You were expecting the classic dnd adventuring group. With humans elves. And if your lucky a half orc or gnome. Then we take the optimal party setup of rogue, fighter, wizard, and cleric. But you may have been hoping for a bard or barbarian to spice things up.

Instead you got two monsters, an angel, and a love doctor. Most of whom chosing the wierd classes. All the while with backgrounds conducive to expanding the story you set up.

Finished the post last night, wanted to give it another read after a few hours of sleep. That'd be now, pretty much. Took a while to decide on the best way to start things, but it should be up soon-ish.

Alrighty, there's something for ya in the main thread - hope you can work with it. Any questions, remarks, comments? Let me know.

I will try to post soon- probably tomorrow honestly.

I had to work late tonight and I am pretty tired. But I am only working half a day tomorrow so I will be more focused for sure!!

Silanon Silanon I added my luck domain, my trait, and my bonuses that I messed up. I also added another tab but it is empty (because I am crazy). I also put Cure light wounds on my spell list but put not prepared (because I have a feeling it will be the thing I spontaneously cast if I need it.) Uhh I added what is prepared and what isn't as well as the spell I gained from my domain. I think that was it (other than background stuff I am still working on in the new tab) Can you look it over for me- I am not sure if it is all right but I am a little more confident.

Sure thing - I'll give it a closer look later today!

Short note: The chapel is a secluded place, just barrows around it, a single other building nearby. Probably should have pointed that out explicitly to avoid confusion. That also means that Rex could approach on his weasel, if that's preferred.
