Fandom One Way or Another

Jack got up at the mention of coffee and breakfast smiling some "Mmmm you're speaking my language." He said happily before he went to the restroom and did his business. He splashed some water on his face to wake him up and soon walked out to get dressed

Max woke up that morning and did her usual routine giving a soft sigh as she thought about her date tonight. She was excited but also nervous about what could happen. Even though they were young when their relationship ended she was still worried it could have an even worse fallout now that they were older

She smiled some, listening to him grumble his way through the morning, making it out to the car and locked eerything up around 6am, passing his coffee to him once they got in the truck and smiled over at him, "Ready?" She smiled and kissed his cheek, starting the engine and heading out.

Coco waited til Angel was done sorting his shit out with Bishop before he watched his friend walk over to him, "Hey... Max is back in town." He told him, lighting a cigarette, "Aaron's cousin... she still doesn't know what went down." He muttered, rubbing his face.

Jack nodded and sipped at his coffee getting into the passenger's seat "Lets get this show on the road yeah? California here we come!" he said laughing a bit just trying to get his energy going so he could be awake for her. He held her hand as she drove and took a deep breath "I can't believe we're actually going back there."

Angel went a bit wide eyed "Oh shit...damn man thought I'd never see that chick again." he said chuckling when he noticed Coco's face "Shit whats it been 16 years? She still has your ass pussy whipped." he said laughing more at him

Coco rolled his eyes at him and shook his head, "Yeah and you're the one that let your girl get away.... We got a problem though... Letty... I was supposed to put her up for adoption." He muttered. "Max doesn't know I'm still part of her life." He muttered. "And Letty don't know who her mother is." He added on, rubbing at his face some.

Carmen smiled, rolling her eyes at him a little, "I just.... wish it had ended better there... I'm hoping that it's gonna go smooth, but I can't guarantee that they won't recognise me." She mumbled, running a hand through her hair.

Jack gave a heavy sigh and nodded some "And I'm hoping they don't have me out in the field. I don't want them pegging us and hurting you." he murmured kissing her hand again "From what I'm told though they don't want the MC though." he explained

Angel frowned some as he mentioned Carmen shaking his head some. He sighed heavily taking a deep breath "Well you better figure out how to explain that then huh?" he murmured

She nodded a little and pecked his cheek.

He shook his head and just sat there thinking everything over. He ended up being put on a run for that night and had to postpone the date with Max for a couple days but eventually he was picking her up on a Tuesday evening to take her out on their first official date in 16 years.

Carmen pulled into the driveway of the house they had been told they would be staying in, parking and looked over at Jack who had the keys in one hand and his debriefing papers in the other. "Let's get in, get some food and unpack a little." She mumbled, getting out of the truck and glanced behind her, hearing a bike heading down the road, frowning some when the guy on it looked pretty familiar for a moment but he'd been going too fast for her to tell and she turned back again, heading inside with Jack.

Max stood outside of her apartment bouncing nervously as she waited for Coco to come pick her up. She smiled widely seeing him show up on his bike rather than his car. She rushed down and hugged him tight "Oh I missed you!" she said not even really thinking about what she had just said and how forward it was. She had truely missed him though and all she wanted was for him to hopefully feel the same way.

Jack gave a nod frowning when he heard a bike and went for his gun giving a heavy sigh when they roared off "Lets get in." he murmured sighing heavily he was already on edge and worried about Carmen but he would try to not let it get too bad

She sighed a little as they walked in and she looked around, frowning a little at the size of the bed. "It's barely for two people." She muttered. Back home they had a super large bed because they both slept pretty spread out and so this would be a struggle. "You've been grumpy for the past five hours, what's going on?" She muttered cming into the kitchen and looking at Jack.

He smiled and slipped his arms around her waist, "Hey, missed you too... you ready to go?" He asked, passing her a helmet he'd found at the club house, remembering her size from all those years ago, smiling to himself a little

Max nodded happily taking the helmet "You remembered my size?" she said happily biting her lip "Your bike huh? To what do I owe the pleasure?" she asked knowing it was a deal for him to let anyone ride on his bike

Jack sighed heavily shaking his head some when he saw the bed size "They weren't expecting me to bring you....and they want to use you again I told them over my dead body." he muttered sighing heavily as he fell onto the couch "I'll take the couch, you take the bed."

She frowned some and looked over at him, going to sit down, pulling his feet back into her lap, "It's gonna be just fine, I'm sure we can work something out, either that or we sleep separate and it makes the nights we come together even better." She suggested, "Honey... Relax, it's gonna be alright." She murmured, rubbing his legs.

He smiled some at her, "Me... coming straight from the club... plus you've ridden my bike before... Just not this one." He muttered, smiling at her some. "So where we gonna go?" He asked her. He'd told her to pick something while he was working and he started the engine, waiting til her arms were around his middle before he took off.

Max smiled wide and nodded some hopping on the back and wrapping her arms securely around his torso "I was thinking that wing shop, remember the one we used to always go to on Fridays after school?" she asked happily kissing his cheek gently

Jack shook his head giving a heavy sigh "No, I'm not letting you be alone here. I'm not letting you get back into that world. You're here to just be my wife, not an informant." he said sternly to her

Carmen frowned looking over at him, "And I'm a full grown woman Jack, I can say no myself." She pointed out, "We haven't eaten in hours, let's go get some food, come on, I don't know what snacks you want and I'm not getting the wrong ones when you're in a huff." She muttered, dragging him up and out to the truck to go get groceries.

Coco chuckled some and shrugged, "You're lucky it's still open." He chuckled, taking her there though, stopping at an intersection and not seeing Letty with her friends outside the movie theater, keeping going to her old favorite place. "God I remember all the midnight trips I made here while you were pregnant.. Before we y'know." He muttered

Max laughed lightly at him and frowned some seeing the group of girls walking towards the movies one of them looked like a lot like Coco but she shrugged it off thinking it was probably just a random girl and turned her attention back to him. She gave a small laugh and gave a small nod "All I wanted was their wings, she must've loved them." she said biting her lip hard trying to not think about their daughter.

Jack sighed heavily but gave a small nod and got up kissing her cheek gently before he made his way back to the car with her and go of to the grocery store with her

She smiled some as they got out of the car and he was still grumpy, taking his phone off him and grabbed his hand, "Come on, no diet on this job, we can eat whatever we want." She said in a sing song voice, kissing his cheek and dragged him inside, "Alright, go pick out your snacks. But don't forget my chips and cheese dip!" She called to him, laughing some as he just grumbled to himself, making her way down each aisle until she bumped into someone, trying to reach a cereal box, "Oh sorry, do you mind- Oh my god... Angel." She muttered staring at him shocked.

He smiled some as he parked up and got off, helping her up and took her hand, "Tell me about it..." He chuckled, heading inside and getting them a table. "How's work going?" He asked her quietly.

Jack nodded some and went off to find snacks for the two of them sighing heavily not really liking her being alone. He was worried she would run into one of the guys and that they'd hurt her when they saw her with him

Angel went wide eyed as he looked at the woman who had run into "Carmen? Holy shit..." he said softly looking at her like he had seen a ghost. Without thinking about it he pulled her into a hug inhaling her familiar scent "God you have no clue how good it is to see you." he said softly

Carmen not down hard on her lip as she pulled away. “Yeah... I just got back into the area... short term.... I’m here with my husband.” She told him gently, looking over when jack started heading down her aisle and she looked to him worriedly. “It was good seeing you angel... you look good.” She mumbled, leaving him to it and headed out of there grabbing at jacks hand.

Angel gave a small nod looking at her still in shock "So do you." He said quietly watching her go off not really seeing the guy's face that was her now husband

Jack frowned some as she quickly took them out of their without the food "Sugar whats wrong?" He asked softly starting to get worried about her.

Max gave a small nod sitting down with him and taking his hand in hers giving him a happy smile "I'm glad we're doing this." She said softly her thumb brushing the back of his head repeatedly

Carmen frowned some “were going to the Walmart outside of town.” She muttered. “Angel was there.” She told him, getting in and driving them to the next grocery store to get their food.

He looked over at her and nodded. “Part of next never wanted you to come back. You got out and that’s where you should stay... but the other half wanted you back here. Back with me.” He mumbled.

Max nodded some biting her lip hard "Yeah...I know the feeling. Leaving was great, after Aaron I needed it but after years of just going from place to place nothing ever felt like home." She said softly "I guess they were right when they said Home is where the heart is."

Jack frowned more shaking his head some "Did he see you?" He asked raising an eyebrow getting in the drivers seat seeing she looked like she was in shock

She frowned and nodded looking over at him, "I don't care if he saw me... I'm hoping he didn't see you Jack!" She muttered, rubbing at her face, sighing heavily.

He smiled sympathetically at her despite the guilt that hit him when she mentioned Aaron, "I know what you mean..." He murmured, trailing off when a waitress came over to get their order

Jack frowned and sighed heavily kissing her hand when he took it in his "Shh its alright Sugar, we got out of there just in time. I don't need you stressing too much okay?" he murmured softly as he drove trying to keep himself calm as well

Max smiled some and gave her order looking at him some before taking his hand again "I would like to talk to you about him, not right now but sometime." she murmured softly. She knew what happened to him and she wanted him to know she didn't blame him at all

She sighed heavily and shook her head. “After tonight I’m organising online groceries to be delivered.” She muttered just shaking her head in frustration.

he just nodded slowly and frowned a little, running a hand through his hair

Jack gave a small nod and sighed softly kissing her hand again before he parked and went into the store with her

Max watched him smiling softly at him "What are you thinking about?" She asked softly

This time she stuck with him and got them in and out as quickly as possible, "You know... you're gonna have ti leave your hat at home when you're working.... or when you're with me." She pointed out, adjusting it on his head as they finished loading the car.

Coco smiled at her some, taking her hand and rubbing her knuckles "How much I missed you." He smiled. It felt like they'd never been apart and he could slip so easily back into being comfortable with her again
