He could tell the injured man was a pirate, there was no doubt about it within his mind but yet Tora had decided to follow him, follow this group of strangers to some random tavern on the isle. The unspoken rules he had made for himself when setting out on his own, thrown out the window entirely. Curiosity was a poison that plagued his mind all too much, but little regret was within him as he watched the oddity of a man stand atop a barrel to plea to the group before him, beckon them to forgo whatever life they once held for a chance at something new, something utterly unknown to them.
"E-Ehm, you should probably sit down..." Seeing the crimson liquid starting to drip from the pirate's nose, Tora would try to speak up as he started to reach for the supplies stored away within his overcoat. Though, the inevitable struck true as the doors to the watering hole swung open via a lone soldier, with more most likely just a few paces behind him.
A sigh slowly fell from the Skypiean's lips as he took notice of the firearm in the Marine's grasp. Rolling his shoulders, his overcoat would fall to the ground as his hand would grasp wire rolled up on his hip. His wings moving a touch as if they were stretching. Golden irises like daggers training onto soldier. "I don't take kindly to you aiming that thing at my patient and the ones in my care. You've made a bad decision, my friend." Swiftly moving, Tora ducked down and swung his weapon at the soldier, the wire of the meteor hammer wrapping around the man's ankles. With a strong yank, the medic would bring the solo man to the ground, keeping a non-lethal approach... for now.
